So guys any news on new wallet? Also feel free to donate to CryptoID block explorer, 20 days left!
The team is nearing an alpha test phase on the new source. We're tracking down and squashing some long-standing bugs that are slowing the process more than we'd like, but we'll be better off in the long run that way. I've spent the past week overhauling the new build system that we're migrating to, which will help tremendously in the speed at which releases are able to be distributed, and reduce inconsistencies between various platforms. The GUI overhaul that I will be doing is currently on hold so we can avoid conflicts with the core update, but it is far from "off the table" entirely. In fact, we're bumping our Qt standard up to 5.5 across the board which already has a much "cleaner" look to it vs 4.8 (and even 5.4). Thanks for the update Fuzzbawls. Its all great news, i hope community lives upto the expectation when its time to donate to devs. You are doing some selfless work there for the community. i will tell you this... a memory leak was found and we addressing it... thats one of the things holding this release up... i think we all can agree we'd like a memory leak free wallet

Like magic...
Mintcoin has been added to exchange and marketplace Cryptopia.co.nz
So, I will just say this... I've been asking people not to use Dots for voting, because the MintCoin team has funded the 500k dots to get listed from the previous list on cryptsy. I don't get it? what do you mean it has been added. Looks to me like MINT needs to be the top voted for the next 3 weeks still before it is added. Keep voting! you are unaware... So cryptopia had a special, for any coin that wanted to get added and was listed on cryptsy, they just had to pay 500k dots. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=MINT_BTCSee attached e-mails: Sender: Hex1/19/2016 11:29:38 AM Hi, MINT is now syncing and will be listed once syncing has completed. I will now close this ticket, please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Cheers, Hex The Cryptopia Team Sender: crzyblue1/18/2016 10:56:09 PM #9804475 - 1/18/2016 10:56:45 PM: User Transfer: Sent '500000 DOT' to Hex Sender: crzyblue1/18/2016 10:54:21 PM I can provide you the bootstrap to get it synced quicker, or you can go to http://www.mintcoinofficial.com/ and under download wallet, there's a bootstrap Sender: Hex1/18/2016 10:37:32 PM Hi, Transfer the DOT to me and I will compile MINT, once it is synced it will be listed. the big player of shareholder here voted amber as the reinvestment
i believe they have good reasons to do it,because they spent the money bigger than us
just please accept it,.we now going to Q4 dividends
as the community on here lets together to support Amber trade to grow in future
we lucky can found Ambercoin in cryptocoin,if in another coin maybe just gone no news anymore
so,.lets go dev and lets go together
Food for thought: big investors voted Amber - True big investors bought from Amber Dev directly - True big investors can return coins at the price they bought from Dev - True big investors sell shares on exchange afterwards - Possible big investors walk away with all profits afterwards - True

easy way to settle this...
dev what address were the shares bought by outside investors sent from?
additionally what addresses were they sent to for those investors?
We have 1 "cold" wallet from which all transactions are performed. Its address differs after each transaction because we don't specify a custom change address. and the answer too question 2? or are we actually going to find out, that they are in the same wallet? All shareholders are in the list. From main wallet shares could be sent only to one of the registered shareholders or on Company's C-Cex address for further selling. Also several transactions were on Company's addresses on Bleutrade and Cryptsy. That's all. Here is a screens of our wallet (for the first time ever by the way!): Makes me happy to an extent

I am getting desperate for new wallet , devs please give us something. Please people support devs with 10% of your minted coins every minting cycle & we will not have a funding problem. sambiohazard, Devs are working hard on merging 2 years worth of commits to improve the wallet greatly, additionally we are working on a way to avoid single point of failure of the donation wallets. Merging 2 years worth of commits takes A LOT of time to weed out the bugs in the commits so that they compile and index correctly. I will give you this fun fact, that we have a few surprises coming up soon as well. Looking forward to all those awesome surprises! Also i would suggest multisig to avoid single point of failure but i guess devs already know that. People really need to put in some donations & they don't need to be big but regular. FFS this is a charity coin. I can neither confirm or deny that's the addition we are working on to avoid single point of failure.

Yes that's what I meant....I saved it as Ambercoin.conf
As far as running anything as admin, the problem is that I downloaded the zip file for the new wallet from the Ambercoin site (named ambercoin-qt-win-v3.0.0.3) and when I open it I see 2 files
AmberCoin-qt.exe qrcodelib.dll
So I click AmberCoin-qt.exe and that's when I get the following message:
The program can't start because qrcodelib.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
This is so frustrating!!
Are you sure you have unpacked the files first before running them? LOL you nailed it on the head! Sometimes the easiest explanation is the correct one I was double clicking Amber.exe in the unzipped folder. To fix it I selected the qt and dll file and unzipped them to the desktop and voila. thanks all for your help!! Big vote for btc incoming I can provide you a windows wallet that doesn't require that dll if you'd like.
