PoW means fair distribution.

In PoS only, you basically have to buy coins someone premined or created with his premined coins. What a joke! Yet some support this idea  Cheesy

because it fits their ponzi perfectly.

The dumb fck cant even see a simple Economics, so he blame it on POW expense.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Could Bitcoin Evolve? on: October 03, 2014, 11:28:18 PM
First end PoW mining, otherwise it might not even survive long enough to "evolve".

You certainly are on a mission, aren't you? Just fork it and let the better protocol win.

Why would I do that? I'm a stakeholder of the existing protocol, I am entitled to express my concern regarding the insane PoW expense, which is perpetually sucking value out of my stake in Bitcoin.

like 0.1 btc?

Why does POW expense matter? Do you even know Economics?

If the money supply is cheap (lol) then so is the value of that money. If the supply rate is too high, then that means the adoption rate (velocity) is too low.

Now think about it for a second and see how dump you sound for thinking POW expense matters at all.

$500 million per year in PoW expense doesn't matter? it's value transferred out of the Bitcoin eco-system. It's dumb to think PoW expense doesn't matter

like i said, you didnt even spend a min to think huh?

you dont even know what you want is lowering money supply rate. It has nothing to do with ......POW expense retard.

Wow, how dumb can you be? do you think PoW expense magically goes away when money supply is gone? then who's going to secure the Bitcoin network at that point? Like I said PoW is a PERPETUAL expense, that has NOTHING to do with money supply.

Stupid fck with POS addiction i see.

You must have think POS has no expense..... lol. DUMBtard.... i wonder why your altcoins went down the drain.
423  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 03, 2014, 11:25:26 PM
Does anyone know what username and password could I use for SSH access to S4? The device is freezed but SSH is live.
Thx.

ssh username is root, and the password for the S4 is "admin"

I've been ssh'ed into mine.  Contemplating upgrading cgminer myself... Dare I?  The author posted an ant miner-patched version and instructions (well, for the S3 I think)...

I suck at Linux, but I'd like to ssh into a few of my miners to see what's going on behind the curtains. How would I go about seeing cgminer once I'm connected?

Edit: Gave screen -r a try and that worked. Any other tricks I should know? Tried the same on an Innosilicon A2 Terminator, but it isn't the right command.

send me btc and i will tell you.....

Address?

1QAHVyRzkmD4j1pU5W89htZ3c6D6E7iWDs
Look and see how many "donations" i got.

Go back to your "investment" and dont fcking cry when it didnt work out. Calling you stupid would be an insult to many other idiots in here.

Bitmain, you promised this 7 weeks ago....... Roll Eyes

Since then you have released two firmware releases both containing the older, security vulnerable cgminer versions.......as well as using it in these S4's.........

I have S2's that I can't get spares for, despite you having 100's of them hashing away in your premises. I was told to wait for the upgrade kits by you in an email, only to be told the very next day that you won't be doing them anymore, so instead you offer a $200 coupon that runs out in 4 days for a vastly overpriced miner that has untested firmware & the same security issues in it as all your other miners have......what on earth are you thinking?

Too many broken promises Bitmain, resulting in me having miners that are unusable due to lack of spares, and even the ones that are working aren't safe from exploitation. There is absolutely no way I will buy an S4 in it's current state at that price, meaning I've also lost the $200 dollar coupons you issued as a "we're sorry" gesture.

You seriously need to sort your business out - I'm completely sick & tired of hearing the same thing over & over again but nothing being done.

Your reputation is on the line here Bitmain, I suggest you start treating your customers like customers, not as some kind of never ending money supply!!

as if they fcking care  Roll Eyes. Vote with your money, but... another 100 idiots will replace your place.
431  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 03, 2014, 08:45:10 PM
to anyone interested: I have 5 coupons for the s4 for 200 usd off. Looking for 0.15 btc each or 0.7 btc for the lot. expires October 25th

lol what a joke.
432  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 03, 2014, 08:44:18 PM
Well, I'd rather have a buggy unit ASAP as opposed to having them test them and drive the difficulty up in the process before I get my miners. To be honest when it works it works very well. Happy to have it so quickly after ordering.

Well, I'm happy you're happy  Smiley

Myself, for that price, I'd prefer not to be treated like a guinea pig beta tester on a miner that might work on certain pools if I'm lucky while hoping my hash power is going where it's supposed to go...... Wink

Hindsight and all that jazz. Here's hoping by the time/if you decide to buy one you'll get a bug free miner.

What? no dumb fck. lots of ppl here already warned you. But you're too stupid to see.... dont call it hindsight, retard.
433  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Are Bitcoin Enthusiasts SUCKERS? And Cloud Mining and Hashlets likely the next Big Scam? on: October 03, 2014, 08:41:41 PM
In a bearish market, the cloud "hashing" is a perfect scam to make money.

The suckers (customers) literally paid for future bitcoins at today price. However they only receive bitcoins in future days where the price is lower.

However, so many suckers on here think they're making "investment" with cloud hashing.

I never thought Bitcoin would attract this many idiots. Greed is understandable, but the idiocy in this is unseen.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on bitcoin technology on: October 03, 2014, 03:55:04 AM
He is a genius. If he involve on Bitcoin that means he is going to make million of dollars from BTC.

No dumb fck, if hes involved with Bitcoin, that means he will copy it and release his own coin then use his money to kill every single Bitcoin business.

Didnt you ever learn shit about Bills?
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just throwing this out there. on: October 03, 2014, 02:39:49 AM
Wait for OpenBazaar to go out of beta?

will it ever?

and if it requires a linux machine and can't be accessed with a tablet or smartphone it's not going to be accessible to 99% of the poeple.

wait wait wait.

i want to build!

says the dumbass with penguin avatar.....

Hey dumbass, are you aware that it will run cross-flatform?guess what lang is it coded on?
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on bitcoin technology on: October 03, 2014, 12:56:53 AM
At this day and age, ppl still think Bill Gates is some genius ?

I mean dont they at least read a book or two about him? Innovation has never been his strong suit. Hes smart in stealing technology and using monopoly to stop every competitors.

Same with Facebook, it was never Mark's idea. Had the Cameron twins knocked it down within 20 days of being online with lawyers and all lawsuits, Mark would never be an billionaire asshole today.

Everyone has a different argument, but at the end of the day it really should boil down to ROI.

And compared to other investments in the world, 6 months to make all your money back (and potentially a lot more if you hold your BTC), is a pretty good investment if you ask me.

Stupid, even if you somehow, get ROI in 6 months, you will have negative cash flow after that. Do you know what that means? (since you seems to understand ...... investments and all)

And if you count on BTC price, then buying BTC now with it in your hand.... you wont lose opportunity in case BTC price jumps in less than 6 months.

However, all of these is moot because you WILL NOT have ROI with S4s. We're talking about ROI btc here.

439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Proof of Custody? on: October 01, 2014, 03:56:36 PM
DigitalTangible has some "Proof of Custody" patent paneding related to Bitcoin and gold.

Press Release: http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20141001005426/en/DigitalTangible-Launches-Physical-Gold-Bitcoin-Trading-Services#.VCwS_WeSwkU

Proof of Custody: https://www.digitaltangibletrust.com/proof-of-custody/

Blockscan: http://www.blockscan.com/assetinfo.aspx?q=GLDPAMPBARTEN

What is is exactly? And how does it matter?

It doesn't matter. They are using daily ledgers to prove they have control over a physical asset which is really no proof at all. When a company wants to make it seem like they have this killer idea that's so wonderful it's sure to be stolen at any moment they use the marketing phrase "patent pending". That just means they applied for a patent. It does not mean the idea is great. I could apply for a patent on electric shoes that squirt anal lube that doesn't mean anyone will buy them.

I will buy them, fantastic idea.

I always want to kick Josh's ass. With your shoes, my foot will go straight into his fcking anal!.
440  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Let me sum it up for you people. on: October 01, 2014, 06:20:22 AM
Why should I think that the huge mining farms care about supporting the system? They care about their money, but they do also support the system. It goes hand in hand. Without miners, no Bitcoin-system. So what exactly is your point?

The point is they're crashing the system by making all these coins at a super fast rate just to sell them to anyone willing to buy it at the highest price possible! Now the highest bid is always lower and lower and .......

Go back and learn about bitcoin mining noobs,
