421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 19, 2020, 05:33:14 PM
I think what is happening now gives you a great chance to take a break from your 8 year old sports betting marathon.
Relax, look around, see how your addiction will behave, whether you can feel good without the ability to bet.
This is a great opportunity to explore yourself and your own motivational triggers. Treat this time not as a problem, but as an opportunity to know yourself better.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: March 19, 2020, 05:30:30 PM
Gambling is something weird if you ask me.
Look at this, You win you want to keep playing thinking you might win more and if you lose you will also keep playing thinking you will , win back your money or breakeven maybe even walk away with profit, I guess this is were the saying of "the house always wins " comes from because they have everyone glued and how the road to addiction is drawn Sad

The casino always wins, but first it will let you win to add addiction to the needle.
Victory will bring a huge surge of hormones of happiness, especially if you succeeded for the first time.

In the future, people will come back for it again and again, even if they constantly lose. The casino will always give them sometimes win,sometimes...
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 19, 2020, 05:26:15 PM
I see no reason to stop gambling if everything is fine with your financial side. In addition, during a crisis, it can be very pleasant to pass the time for gambling.
BUT the majority has the opposite situation, business is suffering losses due to quarantine, which means that people have less money. Rational use of your resources will help to pass crisis times much easier.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 19, 2020, 05:24:06 PM
When you are into gambling you are already into the negative list of people in your society. As per the society you are a non performing and productive individual. So, why bother about your reputation?

You will remain bad influencer and therefore there is not need to think what they feel about you. I beleive in one thing I play using my own money and not theirs so who are they to lecture me?

Leave them all and enjoy your life as it goes.

Rather, the whole society will really condemn you for your addiction to gambling, but if your environment is smart enough it will look at your actions, first of all.
If your environment is stupid enough, it doesn’t matter what you do, gambling or something else, your environment will all be right for you, depending on their own beliefs and prejudices.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 19, 2020, 05:21:56 PM
Since you decided to write this list, why not supplement it with a bunch of rules, for example, not to urinate on roulette, or not to sleep on the blackjack table.
If you present it’s like a joke, then write the text itself in a humorous manner, and not as seriously as it looks now.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden interested back in Bitcoin after Crash on: March 17, 2020, 06:16:42 PM
For me, it is enough that Snowden is a popular figure, which means that all his words must be subjected to the maximum level of criticism.
It is not known why he makes such a tweet, his motivation is not known.

But what if tomorrow he offers a cryptocurrency draw? Obviously, this is another scam.

Personally, I’m sure that everything that Edward says will be politically motivated.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the market stand this trial on: March 17, 2020, 06:13:40 PM
Just look at the Bitcoin chart for the last 2 years to understand that this is not a test at all.
This could be called a test if everything that happens now happens separately from the entire financial market, however, as we can see the whole world market is now in decline, and this is a definite correlation.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: March 17, 2020, 06:10:32 PM
It's good to see altcoins dead because we have too many and many of them are crap projects or pump and dump, the best thing I hopes for right now is bad altcoins to die off this haven but won't happen in an instant, investors are the one to watch out for these scam projects

Such schemes would have died out long ago if we, ordinary people, had not participated in them.
The same thing would happen with all useless coins whose volumes are infinitely accrued by an army of bots on various exchanges of varying degrees of quality.
But it is investors who give life to any such project, and it is they who can take this life.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 17, 2020, 06:07:39 PM
One way or another, fiat systems are associated with cryptocurrency.
Indeed, in the event that big problems begin to arise with fiat, then most of the majority of BTC holders will most likely have to get rid of some of the funds in favor of fiat due to its greater practicality.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 17, 2020, 06:05:03 PM
Most likely, the "individuals" you named did not just sell. Probably they wanted to create a specific situation in which you can provoke a total mass of people to sell their BTC.
This practice is repeated over and over again, with a frequency of 3-4 months. I am sure before the blinding movement on the Bitmex exchange they eliminate the buzzes of more than 800kk.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like.. on: March 17, 2020, 06:01:13 PM
A mixture of panic and mass hysteria. It is clearly visible that people completely do not understand what is happening during the crisis, trying to find easy and simple answers for complex things.
People do not want to figure it out themselves and look for answers, but they are easily ready to go on about those who provide them with the information that they like, even if it is a dummy.

The same dummy as the idea that Bitcoin is a safe asset during a crisis.
The value of bitcoin is that during the crisis and after the crisis, its maximum number does not increase, while fiat currencies have already received a large increase in the form of printed bills.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 17, 2020, 05:56:12 PM
Given that the world has just begun to close its borders, then the darkest days of the crisis are still ahead of us.
From which we can conclude that bitcoin may well dive even lower to values of 3000-4000.

However, given the volatility, a speculative outcome cannot be ruled out as it has been more than once.
Someone can take advantage of the situation and replay everything in the opposite direction.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: March 17, 2020, 05:53:53 PM
What kind of conflict are you talking about? As far as I know, OPEC countries adhere to their own plan, while Russia looks the other way and says that it is ready for this.
Everything related to oil is based on its pricing, and in no way can cause a conflict like a war.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 17, 2020, 05:52:02 PM
In fact, the situation is very funny and paradoxical. Typical mass hysteria organized by government apparatuses of all countries.
Mortality from the coronavirus is only 1%, but already a large number of countries have closed their borders from each other. This will primarily hit the pocket of ordinary citizens
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: March 16, 2020, 09:18:57 PM
It would be great if they revealed this topic in more detail. I am sure newcomers and experienced users of the forum would be interested to know all the subtleties of fraud of this kind,
as well as to study cases of scam users of the forum. Unless, of course, it’s interesting to yourself.

Everyone wants to earn money, everyone wants easy money. Therefore, fraudsters so easily manage to deceive people with such typical traps.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19: Do not worry the market worry on people. on: March 15, 2020, 04:54:00 PM
Believe the spread of the virus around the world has just begun. I don’t know if the cryptocurrency will continue to fall in the near future,
but I’m sure that all major markets will fall by another 10-20% due to the limited communication between countries and quarantine within most countries in particular.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction threads on: March 15, 2020, 04:40:30 PM
In any case, communication is always good. Here gathered smart people who speak on various topics, including discussing their own problems, which means it can be very useful for someone.
Even if one person can look at themselves and their problems from the outside and realize them, this will already mean that such branches on the forum are of great value.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do ? on: March 15, 2020, 04:32:50 PM
Surely most would use a bug. Having earned enough money on it, you can transfer all the information to the platform support service, and accept the earnings as a reward for finding the vulnerability.
In any case, a very small number of people will not take this opportunity.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: March 15, 2020, 04:29:45 PM
In my life, gambling has a significant but not fundamental role. I don’t feel bad if I stop playing, in fact I can do it at any time.
I do not have obsessive thoughts if I do not play for a long time. Probably my addiction is in the initial stage, which makes me happy.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: March 15, 2020, 04:26:31 PM
I would love to go on a similar story. I believe that people should always share similar stories, because this reveals their life experience to other people, which will allow other people to look at themselves and their problems in a new way. Many people hide their stories for fear of judgment, but if you can cope with your problem, hiding your success from other people is a crime.
