421  Other / Off-topic / Re: Twitter Facebook tools to monitor user Activities on: October 15, 2017, 11:25:44 PM
I thought you have developed an app to monitor twitter and facebook.
If you ask such tool, could you be specific regarding the features you want about social media monitoring?
I'm not sure about facebook (not a fan) here some articles about it:
http://www.socialmediatoday.com/content/20-top-twitter-monitoring-and-analytics-tools
Tweeps: What do they tweet about? How much do they tweet? How social are they? Do they use hashtags? Share URLs? Tweeps answers these questions and more. It analyzes the content of Twitter users' tweets to find interesting statistics about them, and updates them several times a day. You can use Tweeps to help you decide who to follow, who you would like to be following you, or just to discover interesting information about Twitter users.

422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 15, 2017, 11:05:35 PM
With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.

What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?

It's a good strategy, but I do not recommend to sell at loss as most altcoins prices seems declining during bitcoin rally.
Bitcoin new ATH set at over $5900 on OKCoin back in few days ago, and bitcoin price still struggle to reach $6K, maybe this week, put all of your funds in it then you will get more profits obviously. On the other hand, you can make more profit with buy back more altcoins after bitcoin reach its peak.

423  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bicoin gold on: October 15, 2017, 04:39:26 PM
Bitcoin gold looks like a scam (it's nothing to do with the segwit2x fork, and they appear to have timed their launch specifically to confuse people).

I'd recommend people reading the following thread about it, and all the comments:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/757l70/here_is_why_bitcoingold_is_shady_and_a_scam_you/

I doubt most exchanges will even list it.

Yes, bitcoin gold has nothing to do with segwit2x hardfork and it will worth something I guess, that's why people buying more bitcoin as they are expecting free btg after October 25. Looks like a scam? It's nothing to do with scam as people will not lose anything during its development as long as you do not send bitcoin to btg address.
Whether exchanges will even list it or not? Of course they will, as long as there are demands from customers, after they get free btg, people will buy and sell it through an exchange.
424  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: "Double-spending tool for Dummies" :) - it never was so easy before on: October 14, 2017, 09:52:52 PM
- Private Key will be never sent out from your computer, new transaction will be signed in your browser! (Open Source code)
- New transaction will be broadcasted to BTC network (repeatedly until confirmed) via our own specially configured nodes (no 258: txn-mempool-conflict error)

The idea is; to broadcast new transaction repeatedly until confirmed without private key? I don't really get it.
This tool help everyone who want to send bitcoin but don't want to wait for so long until the transaction is confirmed but still has second option to cancel it as private key never sent out, right? Pretty useful I guess, just in case.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will go down? on: October 13, 2017, 11:50:58 PM
Theory

I think because many people are buying now BTC due to "free money" the schedule to be at November ( BTC GOLD ) I believe that its price should go down because many people also transfer there funds from altcoin to bitcoin
And it good time to buy altcoin ( maybe wait even a bit longer )

What do you think?

I don't know about free BTG and you should know BTG hard fork will be launched on October 25 and it's different with segwit2x hard fork on November 18 (https://bashco.github.io/2x_Countdown/).
About free air drop from BTG or it will be an ICO?
Some of the information found on the original Bitcoin Gold website hinted at a possible ICO for this project. A pre-mine and crowdsale were part of the initial fundraising idea back in July of this year. However, the community has grown a lot, which eventually forced the developers to push back the hard fork date and cancel their ICO plans altogether.  That is a good decision, mind you, as the project would have faced a lot of backlash otherwise. https://themerkle.com/4-misconceptions-cleared-up-by-the-bitcoin-gold-team/
If altcoins price keep declining, yes, a good time to purchase some potential coins, I've bought 2 ETH as well.
426  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-12] $10,000 Bitcoin Coming Soon As Bitcoin's Price Rallies on: October 12, 2017, 11:51:39 PM
$10,000 in 6-10 months, possible to achieve it. Bitcoin on rally is a good thing, but there will be always correction on every bull run.
2018 will bring a new hope for bitcoiners, but I doubt it will drop back to $4000 after it reach $10K mark, at least $5000 is the safe point if something bad happen.
Only 2 reasons why bitcoin price may crash, exchanges get hacked or a big country ban bitcoin such as 'China's ban news' back in few weeks ago.
Which maybe will not happen again, as China already did it twice in this year.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: This month will reach at least $ 9500 on: October 12, 2017, 11:06:59 PM
I was surprised when opened XAPO wallet and the price this morning about $ 4800 but 3 hours later the price has reached $ 5180, amazing, this month the price will reach at least $ 9500. It's time to buy more and hold.

Too many speculation on bitcoin price, I can say bitcoin can reach $10,000 but it seem impossible for now. Everytime bitcoin price increase more than 10% in a day, it's more likely going to corrected due to people can't hold the temptation of high-instant profit which happen within days. I prefer to see bitcoin price increase slowly like $50-$100 everyday but still fluctuate a bit, then bitcoin can reach at least $6500 by the end of this month.
428  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which wallet is best on: October 12, 2017, 02:53:27 AM
Which bitcoin wallet is best for transaction.

Anyone can tell me which wallet take low fee secure & send bitcoin as fast as possible
Depending on your locality and on the wallets which are on the poll do have their own advantage coinbase=us citizens, coins.ph= philippines citizens, blockchain= global. If you do live on philippines then coins.ph would be the best wallet for you since you can easily convert or buy bitcoin in a matter of clicks which you cant able to make on some wallets and also when it comes on cash out it can directly give you an option to put directly on bank or money remittances. For coinbase i dont have much idea since im not a US citizen.

Picking a wallet based on your location is not a good idea. people should base it on its features and security. Since we are talking about which is the best wallet i'm thinking a wallet which is suited for primary use. All wallets listed on the poll are online wallets, most of these do not give private keys to their users as it is the proof that you own a particular wallet and allows you to fully control it. second problem is if the site ever goes down, accessing would not be possible furthermore these online wallets tends to have incompetent support, coinbase and blockchain are both known for it although coins.ph in my opinion has a great support team. this article might help you https://blockgeeks.com/guides/cryptocurrency-wallet-guide/

He were mentioned about exchanges wallet in order to convert bitcoin into fiat currency easier, as long as there is no any issue regarding their services or security, it's fine. But, I wouldn't recommend coinbase even though Op stay in USA because too many bad reviews, especially for withdrawal. But, as they said; you do not have bitcoin if you don't have the private keys, which mean web wallet is better than exchange wallet. I recommend electrum wallet as you can export the private key and it has some great features such as cold storage or set custom fees. Download it here: https://electrum.org/#download

430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading dilemma on: October 10, 2017, 03:16:06 AM
I bought my btc - DGB for a price of 0.00000693 last August and I'm trying to sell it for 0.00000800 for I hope that the btc will rise this September but I guess I was wrong - It's kinda frustrating to be honest.
To all my fellow traders out there, Does the price of the bitcoin is bothering you - what are plans ? will you sell or wait?

DGB refers to DigiByte coin?
There is nothing to do but waiting until DGB recover to your initial entry point.
But, after checked DGB price chart on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digibyte/, it seems DGB price ATH was 0.000019xx in May 2017, you may have to wait for months until this coin recover to 0.00000693.
431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MinerGate Cloud mining on: October 10, 2017, 02:29:18 AM
This is the reason most of the people avoid cloud mining first and then to do for hardware miners like antminer or asus.
Whether it's cloud mining or actual hardware mining, I seriously don't understand why people are so obsessed with mining in general ~ you depend on too many variables to call it a proper investment.

Buying Bitcoin or whatever other altcoin has always been far more rewarding than mining ~ it takes far less time, it doesn't require any resources like hardware mining does, no need to worry about broken gear, and the list goes on.

If you invested $1000 into mining at the very first day of this year, you would still be struggling to recoup a large portion of your initial investment. If you bought Bitcoin, your $1000 would be $4900 right now.

Agreed, bitcoin mining difficulty always increasing over time, too many factors to be considered and whether you can use the funds to gain more money in a faster time instead of waiting for months or even a year to get ROI. There are plenty of investment to achieve that with less risk compare to cloud mining.
Invest in altcoins will be more profitable I guess doe to cheaper price and higher rate of increase compare to bitcoin price, such as ethereum and lots of other altcoins.
432  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2017-10-10 Japanese Renewable Energy Provider Offers Low Flat-Rate Electricity f on: October 10, 2017, 01:53:38 AM
Low electricity costs always be the biggest challenge for the miners, if Japan renewable energy could cover huge mining farms which consume so much energy https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption. Electricity from solar, wind, biomass, hydroelectric, and geothermal power systems absolutely cheaper than using gas fuel. After japanese miners established their foothold into mining industry, we will see how is it going for them and hopefully have a good impact into bitcoin community.
433  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Start Mining From Your Browser - And Get Paid Via Faucethub on: October 10, 2017, 12:28:31 AM
I don't think it's profitable to mining through browser, or it can't be called mining at all, due to it takes powerful hardware to do it, even cloud mining should have mining farms and lots of mining hardware. The only reason to keep browser running is; to constantly update and seeing the ads in your site as it mentioned (A refreshment has been made in the design)
I want to ask about; We are a group of developers that have created a more unique and practical system.
What kind of unique and practical system to mining in 9 different cryptocurrency?
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I expect BTC dump before another fork? on: October 09, 2017, 11:44:42 PM
Should I expect dump before another fork and put my money from crypto to USDT or shall I put everything to BTC ?

If you doubt, put 50:50 in cash and bitcoin.
But, I am sure bitcoin price will reach another ATH over $5000 in this month, next hard fork by the end of this month mean nothing if they want to sell it through ICO https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2133536.0.
Bitcoin price won't affected significantly by segwit2x I guess, before and after hard fork, bitcoin price may drop a little bit but will continue to increase.
It happened before, when Bcash hard fork occured, bitcoin price seems increase and not affected by hard fork, like nothing happened. Few days after hard fork, bitcoin price fallen down, but could recovered obviously.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost 95 Bitcoin on: October 09, 2017, 11:31:58 PM
I believe it's belong to Bitcoin discussion https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=1.0 or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=6.0
If you want to hire some experienced people to trace your bitcoins, post a thread to share at least BTC5-BTC10 as the reward for everyone who can do it for you https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
It's strange as Ledger wallet should be safe, where did you bought it?
Second; I left my PC with Electrum open, are you sure no one using your PC right after you left it? I often do the same thing, but my bitcoin remain safe in electrum wallet.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be regulated! on: October 09, 2017, 11:10:53 PM
Can government's regulatory agency actually determined how bitcoin or others coins be use?
What is the advantage or disadvantage of bitcoin unregulated? Thank, your view will be appreciated.

Yes, government can regulate cryptocurrency such as US, China, Japan and Singapore did.
The advantages of bitcoin regulations:
- to avoid illegal funding or money laundering
- to protect citizens from fraudulent activities in crypto world
- if bitcoin could be legalized, it's created a perfect environment for bitcoin to grow even better

The disadvatages of bitcoin regulations:
- You may have to pay tax, but not always
- Your transactions through exchanges could be monitored
- Financial authority over watch all of the crypto transactions
437  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Should I start own exchange website? on: October 09, 2017, 05:31:46 PM
I am thinking to start own exchange website like (coinexchange.io) , yes I want to build small exchange.
But before start I want to know something , hope I will get my answer.
Building exchange is profitable?

Bitcoin exchange surely profitable, as your exchange rate should be slightly different with other exchanges or else, you should apply withdrawal fees.
For the first time I got into bitcoin, learned how to convert bitcoin and mostly through personal exchange, sell bitcoin to someone based on trust, and he charged like $2 for every transaction. You may want to try it before build a larger bitcoin exchnages which require many resource and professional people to be hired. If you want to build a small exchange web, $2000 is enough to cover initial expenses to establish a legit site, but you will need more to cover maintaining costs.
438  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-07] Dimon Called Bitcoin a Fraud but JPMorgan Is Citing Prices on: October 09, 2017, 04:17:55 PM
Well who looks like a fool now? Jamie Dimon is eating his words. He should be dismissed as CEO, the company and the clients are in the opposite side of the spectrum. Bitcoin cannot be stop and even Wall Street are noticing it. And there is another guy dismissing bitcoin, Jordan Belfort the so called Wall of Street, both of them have fraudulent past so it you are going to deduce what they have been saying all along, you have to be very skeptics and take everything with a grain of salt. Just a matter of time that those bankers and big traders will shift to bitcoin market because of the growing interest in it.

You seriously think that Jamie Dimon was fool?

Those panic sellers were fool who took Jamie's speech seriously. He was rather smart enough to manipulate the market with a single speech and his company reaped the benefits. On the very next day of his calling Bitcoin a fraud, JPMorgan was the largest buyer of Bitcoin. These bankers are way too good at these things. Moreover, there is a collective interest of Wall Street bankers on Bitcoin be it Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs. They all want to enter the amateur market of cryptocurrencies and have a dominance in early stage.

That's right, whoever fallen into Dimon words were fooled, but he just got lucky due to his statement coincide with China banned news which spread widely and influence many users to sold bitcoin. Anything he said after bitcoin recover over $4000 mean nothing, people won't deceived twice.
It's funny as Dimon words contradict with his act, called bitcoin a fraud but JPMorgan is citing bitcoin prices right between wheat and treasuries.
Although JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs bankers could say anything to manipulate bitcoin price, but the most significant factor is; if Million of dollars from their pocket has been invested into bitcoin, just waiting for the right time to cash out, maybe when bitcoin hit $5000, then people will follow to sell-off, which cause bitcoin price corrected.

440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who has been guilty of this? on: October 09, 2017, 03:01:28 PM
Nice article, speak the truth about ICO and that's why there are more countries such as China, South Korea and Singapore have banned crowd funding based on Initial Coin Offerings. Therefore, everyone has to be careful and do your own research about legit and potential projects before invest, it's better to invest on some projects which already have a product to be marketed to judge how the market react to their products.
But, even a legit project could end in failure if people don't interested to invest on those projects, that's why it's so risky to invest bitcoin on ICOs which may cause a great loss for investors, unless they adopt escrow service.
