fantastic! I am not familiar with the beaglebone black hardware format, but on pictures it looks much smaller than the one in S2.
I see USB, microUSB, 5V and Ethernet ports on pictures plus two multipin ports (for ribbon connectors?).
Did you power it through USB/micro USB and then connected to miner by the ribbon connector?

the BBB in the S2 is exactly the same format as original. its only missing the USB ports and 5V What you see in the S2 in the middle of the mining cards is an additional controller card. the BBB is directly plugged onto this card with its multipin ports. you can "easily" unplug the BBB if you want to build a S2 you have to rebuild this card (as I think) or get it anywhere else |

Have anybody tried regular Beaglebone black, rev B or C together with bitmain microSD card to control S2?
Did it work?
I tried an SD card with the bitmaintech firmware flashed on it and it booted successfully. i could access the web config for the miner and watch as it hashed at 0 ghs due to no asic's installed. i have NOT tried replacing the BBB from bitmaintech with this one, though, so i can't really confirm that it works. If anyone does, i too would love to hear about it. Like to know if my spare parts are usable as spares or not. I can confirm that it works - I did it temporary  |

p2pool zahlt immer genau dann wenn er einen Block findet, die neuen Coins werden direkt nach geleisteter Arbeit (p2poolshares) verteilt.
vergleichbar mit einer pplns Auszahlung

ja es gibt Unterschiede. Die meisten Pools kalkulieren auf Basis von diff 1 Shares.
p2pool hat eine interne eigene Sharechain mit höherer Diff. Wer also mit ganz wenigen GHash mined hat dabei schon starke Varianzen.

My local electronics shop managed to fix one of my two broken blades as it only required the connector soldering back on. Sadly the last broken blade is toast, the connector is completely missing (it's not even loose in the case or the box)  Had little issues to get a new power cord. And I have also a broken board connector (try to find someone to fix it) and an other board is only delivering half speed (any ideas?) could not see any damage on it. So I only have 3,5 out of 5 boards working:( how could your damned connector be completely missing?  ? Thats not getting damaged during shipping ! thats shipping damaged hardware! zum einen hasht man dort sofort und zum anderen wird die Haschleistung nach oben angepasst - Details dazu kann der interessierte Nutzer auf deren Seite nachlesen.
Größere Mengen an Hashleistung gibt es auch entsprechend günstiger.

Ich würde einen für 1.15 ( rund 520) kaufen und von Menig liegt das Angebot über 500 / Stück hier im Thread.

zwar etwas weniger als Toms Gebot, dass er aber nicht in BTC bezahlen kann.
Und in einer PM bietet er mir auch nur 2000 Euro wenn ich vier Stück für ihn mit BTC bezahle....

nen p2pool aufzusetzen ist ne schöne Spielerei und immer auch ne gute Erfahrung.
Ob ein rpi ausreiched weiß ich nicht (glaub aber eher nicht), man sollte den p2pool jedoch nicht auf flash Speicher betreiben
