421  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 23 blocks solved! on: January 16, 2015, 06:55:34 PM
Pool is down and my miners are on failover.
Snap 300th jumped to third on list (CEX) and missed Kano pool?
Is that down as well.

Weird that stats are still showing my hashrate.
But pool stats uptime is frozen to 2100....
422  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 20 blocks solved! on: January 11, 2015, 08:15:46 PM

Has a decision been made on what's going to replace the Google OpenID login?
realy?
Why shall it be replaced Huh
Doc?
I have a side question also. It might be answered already but I missed it.
When I login in shifts I see

Completed   Duration   Difficulty   Pay/Hour at 1 TH/s   Total Thps   Your Ghps   Your work

2015-01-04 18:47   2h 46m   40,640,955,016   0.00000000   1,754.2   2,765.0   6,425,600
Why some times there are zeros at at 1 TH/s?

Thanks doc
Ps I am mining non stop here
426  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: hardware manufacturers should have their own child boards. on: January 05, 2015, 07:17:01 PM
+1

Hardware is dogie's world. Getting tired of his views on every product under the sun. Dilutes the other voices. Particularly those who actually make hardware and those that actually BUY hardware. He inserts himself in between and that is great for him but at this point maybe hardware guides should be split off to the support section unless they are OFFICIAL from the fabricator.

ho-hum.  i see much butt-hurt across the Meta threads regarding some SP-Tech reviews posted in Hardware.
this proposal would fix such butt-hurt  Grin

Says the guy with the christmas tree of all christmas tree affiliate link sigs for said company Roll Eyes

Forgive me for earning a living.

You were specifically complaining that people were being biased because it was SPTech related meta, and so I pointed out that if anyone was going to be biased for / against SPTech it would be the guy with the giant affiliate link of the company in his sig.

I made no particular comment or complaint that is was specifically DUE TO SPTech related Meta. I remarked that on this occaision, the subject is regarding SP-Tech.  It could have been any manufacturer and you would still have been 'butt-hurt' that someone was bumping down your own review threads. I hope this clarifies what I meant by my comment.

I can feel your pain bickLEDsky. You are not the most important person here. What about your spams everywhere? In self moderated topics of course Grin so no one can argue and express his opinion about your shit? And everything which not suits you is deleted immediately. Any way back on topic
Any way enjoy dogie's work. Apart of all he is doing something not just spreading BULSHIT like you. And accourding to hardware forum topic it shall be about how to generate bitcoins. So please stay on topic in hardware thread.Dogie's posts are on topic. Learn and folow Grin
Dogie,
WASP ARE NOT MAKING HARDWARE THEY ARE MAKING LEDS Grin VERY HARD AND HIGH END WORK. HARDWARE IS FOR for newbies  Grin
To hardware vendors
I beg you please send a free Christmas tree with shiny LEDs to bickLEDsky so we can compare his reviews and dogie's and have second hardware opinion from a reputable forum expert Grin

427  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Best pools to mine with Antminer S4 on: January 05, 2015, 06:13:29 PM
I pointed my S3s to Bitmain's AntPool (https://www.antpool.com) yesterday. I'm using their solo pool (solo.antpool.com:3333) and getting excellent results.
Excellent results?
Is it a solo pool? If yes how many blocks have you found speaking of excellent results?

Thanks
Ps or you mean that pool is stable, no minig interruptions and so on by excellent results?
428  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: PPLNS / F2POOL on: January 05, 2015, 05:12:28 PM
I´m wondering what to think about BTCguild and Disgus fish

Disgus fish are finding the most blocks on blockchain, i´m not quite sure how it works how the share are paid but it seems it doesnt matter how muc bitcoin disgus finds your balance does not get higher jump. its just number the rise really really slow but on BTC guild when they find block it just comes in one amount.

What do people think its better and is one pool more profitable then other?

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Cheesy
Btcguild avoid Chinese pools as much as possible. It is not about  which is more profitable it is about trust in a first place. The higher number of blocks DOES NOT LEAD TO HIGHER PAYOUTS ALONE.
I will say it like this. I prefer to earn less and donate the difference to the trustable pool op instead to mine in China land
Please note the above does not mean that discus fish is more profitable or vice versa
You can not beat luck. No mater how you change the pools in long term it is same. If you feel adventurous try solo all or nothing Wink Otherwise find primary and backup pools based on trust and stay there
429  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How do you prefer to log in? on: January 03, 2015, 09:12:33 AM
OpenID Wink
430  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin and free testnet mining! on: January 01, 2015, 02:20:30 PM
As pointed many times it does not matter. Just do not pay attention tou your stats. You need to submit just one share to solve a block. You are not get paid for number of shares. You get paid just for the one which solves a block. And you get all....You need to find one first Wink
431  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: January 01, 2015, 08:12:46 AM
Confused with setup.  If im not too hungover tomorrow I will try and figure it out. BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

Don't get discouraged.....I've had them for a almost a week now and am still working out the kinks. Cheesy
....
What is the problem?..Huh??
It is plug and play with tplink.....
Any way pm me so we can solve this out
432  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: December 30, 2014, 08:03:22 PM
So mistery is revealed  Wink

Thermaltake 600W has 2 x 12V rails right?
Are two miners working with Thermaltake 600W?
No?
Then most probably you are connecting both miners to 1 rail which is capable of UP 20A. Make absolutely sure that you are coneting two miners to two separate 12V rails
If you can measure the 12V rail voltage while miners are not working it would be great. You will know if it is a PSU or something else
433  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: December 30, 2014, 03:11:51 PM
@minerjones
The PSU n500 is only 400W at 12V line, so it may not be enough for the initial startup

It is low cost psu so 400W is just a spec......
434  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: December 30, 2014, 03:07:19 PM
Zich & 2GOOD:

I am using a 500W Lepa N500 ATX  http://www.lepatek.com/eng/product_content/1/1/1/#produkte

Using 1 DICE, I have the "regular" 6-pin PCI-E connected right now. It seems to be ok

But when I try to connect the 2nd DICE using 6+2 connector, they both seems to drop out/ not work.

I have an extra 650W Thermaltake that I could hook up to the 2nd DICE, but this seems excessive as the units only use less than 150W each!!

Maybe I am missing something to do with the Voltage or the Amp draw, but again, I would think that a 500W ATX could handle this.

Also, could it be my USB hub???  It is a powered hub, but works without the extra power?!?

Thanks again!! Cheesy

Hey,
1. What is written on 500W ATX envelope 12v how many amps?
2. Is this psu single or multi rail. You are overloading it for sure
Probably PSU  over-current protection kiks in or there is too big voltage drop in 12V output which dice is not able to handle
My advise for you is:

do not try anymore with this psu to power two Dice miners. You got lucky so far and there is no magic smoke yet  Wink But if you continue to try the PSU will BLOW.

Send us picture of your psu stamp it says 12V Amps single or multy rail and so on

But once again do not push it anymore leave just one miner to mine

You can try to decrease chip voltage at the end. Not a good idea try with 680,670 and so on with just one miner at the beginning. Watch HW errors in cgminer. When they start to increase or if board does not want to start mining go one step backward. Doing this you will downclock the miner and decrease consumption - but HW errors will increase also. But as i said not good idea. If the PSU is 400W at 12V in reality you should not experience such problems

435  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: December 29, 2014, 01:25:16 PM
With voltage to 700 what is the watt from wallet?
depends from the clock Wink
I do not know unfortunately but both clock and voltage are involved ....
2Good knows it probably. check if there is a review of dice from him
436  Other / Archival / Re: How (and why) to use the Relay Network on: December 29, 2014, 07:39:19 AM
With Bitcoin Core v0.10.0 Release Candidate 1 out for testing, any potential gotcha's for Relay Clients?  I see in the release notes that there are quite a few header related changes.
with v0.10.0rc1 works charming Wink
437  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: December 28, 2014, 08:53:04 PM
Nice chicks dude just below your screen shot  Wink
Is marto giving one for free with the DICE just for warmup Wink
Now seriously
You are setiing setting asic dificulty. Rocker chip needs it. Spondo tech guys call it leading zeros....When you are not using tplink and not minig solo or want accurate pool stats you need to add suggest-diff to cgminer see my post above. How to calculate this - pow ( 2, asic diff -1)
If you set asic diff to 5 for example dice will return only results > 16. Higher dificulty will make USB communication less stressed preferable especially when you have many devices via usb hub. It will safe a lot of CPU cycles also
If your pool does not know about it you may loose hash rate when diff is 10 - pow (2,9) 512 for instance. Once agin it does not hurt solo at all it just will screw up your POOL stats. In solo at current btc diff cgminer will always send winning share Tongue
With other pools just make sure to set up your worker min diff to match the calc. And remember not all pols do suport suggest-diff just watch it
And finally you can always trust cgminer stats they are on spot 100 % guaranteed Wink

A big +100000000000000000 to loshia!!!!

Thank you much for helping me roll my DICE Cheesy

If anyone needs help, please ask loshia

Agreed. Received a pm from loshia with exactly what I needed. Have now got cgminer 4.9.0 showing me the device.. Now to tune in the parameters..
Super.
For all of you who want 160gh from dice

Increase the voltage to 700 and clock to 850. But try jently with clock start in steps 700 750 800
Do not push it to much Wink
439  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit "DICE" 160Ghs Entry miner/blockchain personal lottery device on: December 28, 2014, 06:20:07 PM
Wait for marto to publish the patch it will not work like this.
Or use tplink if you can...

So no problems dude

Resume for other folks

1. tbdice.org was not resolving  - some dns issues the workaround is to use static dns to your pc and tplink
my favourites are 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4 google always works Wink

2. Do not forget to fix miner.sh as posted above
3. enjoy Smiley

And exersize with putty Cheesy Without it all of us are lost
