you can do series of test to help you find the culprit
start with installing crampy GPU's exclude the other 4
Don't use USB risers, connect the GPU's only with PCIex16
if you have 1x PCIe slot, then install only 1 GPU
fireup the miner and observe
if problem still persist, I guess you have the faulty card

@leonix007 I predict "I have more than 200 websites" doesn't means 100% his own, i think it's the website of his client but he has access to those website because of he who created it (Webmaster) ~imo~
Yeah probably coz when I say, I have it, means, I own it could be a website unpublished, or whatsoever however one thing I'm pretty sure, site visitors aren't happy when they found out some code are sneaking on their CPU resources without their permission

Well, finally, at least one answer on the topic. Thanks for the info. I work as a Webmaster and I have more than 200 websites running. On such a number of sites, it seems to me, you can make money. I'll try - I'll see what happens in a month.
Lol, 200 websitesif the amount like that you get rich without having to think of electricity payment, internet also you don't need to buy any hardware it's like "cloud mining", but i have one question: do you ask permission when entering "code" into the website? He owns it, he does not need permission adding code to his sites @Op, think of the outcome, adding this to your site does your visitor benefited from it? worst is that the code might detected as malicious forcing them to go away with it AV's might also block those scripts

I have encountered a site which is in purposely use up my CPU resources to mine with a given time like 120 seconds
in exchange for the download which I need
however it notifies me, so I granted it

It is 8 Pro 64 bit. I'll look at it tomorrow evening and see what I can do with it. It wasn't letting me complete the 390.77 driver reinstall, saying there were no GPUs for it.
You cannot install those drivers as long as your GPU's aren't detected If I were you, Focus on your hardware, as why those GPU's are not detected by your system have you tried the suggested above? I would recommend disconnecting all GPUs and then plugging one in directly to the motherboard (without riser). Make sure you connect your video input to your GPU.

same here, been observe that in other XMR coins, the most reliable one for me is what the pool telling however, profitability changes are so drastic

I am trying to increase space between GPUs and the 2ft USB wire the risers come with is not enough. Any suggestions on alternate USB cable or any USB male to male is good for the purpose.
Thanks
see this thread, hope it helps https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2728597.0

The pool itself is working for me, I think it's just get UI.
The pool itself is ok, but they are having issues calculating your hashes.... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fibb.co%2Fi5SrGT&t=663&c=GPk35Cr7CF8b0Q) My rig is working with no issues for 48 hours, but supportxmr shows me as offline for several hours.... I think i´m going to change pool... Any ideas? Try other pool like Dwarfpool, didn't encounter prob mining monero on this pool previously Though I switched to other coin right now

Each GPU and riser will run on their own and work as expected.
Want to know how did you test the risers to work as expected I have a feeling on these risers that might be the culprit Are the GPU's modded?

hi guys, todays i had to stop mining ethereum with windows 10 with driver 372 and claymore 11.7
i know if i use linux i can continue mining it, but my question is:
how long till it will last? even with linux i can mine eth for 1 or 2 weeks? or i can continue for 1 year? who can reply precisely to this question? thanks!!
mine some other coin with low difficulty and good potential for the future. eth is for bigger guys now ahahah thanks for the advice but i am a miner and i have lot of experience.. i have many rigs obviosly i am mining other things.. but ethereum is always the best remember this!actually there is no coin better than ethereum like daily profitability Not actually, depending on GPU, No offense, but I get more profits on other coins compared to eth don't be deceived by the online calculators out there

is it possible to mine cryptonight-heavy with Claymore miner ? Try SRBMiner. For my Asus RX560 2Gb DualFan for cn/cn-v7 with Claymore - 495 h/s, with SRBMiner 515 h/s. For ch-heavy 325 h/s. SRBMiner 1.5.0 GPU1-3 - Asus RX 560 2Gb DualFan, GPU4 - Sapphire RX 560 4gb Nitro ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fscrin.org%2Fi%2F18%2F05%2F20180517200641.png&t=663&c=brVNpEvuDBObhQ) Does SRB work with old cards like R9 390? yes, even the much older R9 290x could run it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3167363.msg34331694#msg34331694

Hi guys, I just got a call by my mining partner. We are running 6 of the following sertup in a warehouse atm:
- asus z270 prime - celeron g3900 - 4gb ddr4 ram - 8x sapphire nitros rx580 - hp dps1200 server psu - 160w pico psu
he just installed new wires for power to place the miners at a different spot in his warehouse. now he is telling me that on the new place when the miners are just started up, the power consumption is about 3.5A at 230V wich should be around 800W. After 20 minutes, this climbs to 4,8A or 1100W. I told him this is very unlikely but he claims that he has professional measurement equipment which should be ok.
I only can check the gpu power consumption per software by remote which is around 85W per card and doesnt change. all fans are running at 100% so when miner gets warm that shouldnt make such a big difference. The only thing I could imagine is that these server power supplies with breakout board are pulling close to their 1200w max after some time regardless if the system needs it or not.
what is happening here please?
It seems its a normal consumption depending on the algo you are mining for eth, default RX580 would go around 200watts per card not unless you do modding and underclocking which I bet you already did I only can check the gpu power consumption per software by remote which is around 85W per card and doesnt change Power consumption per software is different compared to power draw at the wall https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/13772/rx-580-power-consumption

lower memory clock try 600, 580,560 etc
Yup, I lowered it to 600 and will see how it goes. Next step will be to switch back to 11.5 and maybe roll back the video card drivers as well. Not sure what to do after that. How much ram do you have exactly?
By ram I am talking about the system memory not the video card memory.
You might have to up your ram or up your virtual memory.
I got a similiar error such as this but it was on the XMR miner however the errors look identical.
I have 4GB of system memory. The virtual memory is set to 50,000. I used to have it at 16,000 and after all the updates, I started getting a cuda 11 error when starting the miner. Raised it to 50,000 and that error was resolved. try to update also your driver like this 376.33 Version for Nvidias

If I were you, I'd go for:
-6x RX 470 4 GB (will cost around $1000) -Around 1000 Watts Power Supply -Motherboard consisting of 6 PCI-E slots -4 GB RAM (cheapest available) -Least memory-sized SSD
Buying all of this is possible within the range of $2000. You may also check out "Marketplace > Goods > Computer hardware" section of this forums for better deals.
Risk are you can get those as a second hand units, already mining for more than a year already Like the other user above says, seems its not the right time to buy for new gear ASIC miner are nearly on full blast so @OP if I were you, just observe the trend also there are new GPU hardware coming out soon

Warning: this is a very n00bish question. But yeah. I am a Linux noob.
I know you can run Linux "inside" a Windows Virtual Machine. Would it be possible to theoretically install a Linux based mining OS (eg. hive) and run it in an Oracle VM virtual box?
Reason I'm asking is I do have a couple of remote rigs I can only access with Teamviewer, and I'd like to try a couple of Linux-only miners. I'm pretty confident I know the answer to the above but I'd love to hear it from the more experienced Linux users out there.
Yo dude, honestly I don't try this yet, however, some answers are here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1666362.0EDIT: check also this link https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/6psuja/would_using_a_virtual_machine_to_mine_reduce_my/

Hi! I have very strange problem.
I have 5x rx570, windows10 and driver adrenalin 18.3.2.
1. install windows 2. install driver 18.3.2 3. patch driver 4. switch to compute mode
Whan i run Sapphire trixx get error :
During previous startup GPU-Z crashed at OpenCL detection. Please update your OpenCL and graphic driver.
I try reinstal driver , uninstall onboard intel graphic nothing !
Then i try complete format and reinstall windows 10 and still not work! Where is problem ?
This happend on my second rig, first rig have ALL same configurations and work without problem
Please for help!
Regards
I have a feeling that you are using and updated GPU-z and were not able to detect old drivers never mind with GPU-z, what happen when you open OC tools? or running miners?

Can anyone help me going please....
I get the "not enough GPU memory to place DAG" message, but feel my hardware should be sufficient?
AMD Athlon A10-7870K Godavari, Quad-Core, 4x3.9GHz, 4MB L2-cache, AMD Radeon R7 integrated Nvidea GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB
Can anyone help me getting the config to work?
try these drivers that were already suggestion earlier For 3GB Mining on Win10, use 376.33 Version of Nvidia Driver. Now, It is working without -eres command.
