422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 29, 2020, 02:10:31 PM
What you guys do when such a thing happen with you ?

I won't be able to sleep that day and keep thinking if I hadn't got greedy then I could have won some bucks. But by the next day, I'm ok again and I just forget what happen last day. It's really hard to control our emotions during those times. We keep thinking we could win more and imagine the things we can buy if we win but in the end it just leaves us disappointed even if it's our fault.

It's a weakness for some gamblers, I would not deny I have that problem as well but overtime I was able to learn to control my emotion as I have realized that if I'm greedy, I always end up losing more, so a win regardless of the amount is a win, and it's important we have to follow the game plan.
Yes indeed. Losing a game is the weakness of most of the gamblers that's why if there are still chances to play again and try to recover their loses, they will take the risk without thinking that the more they are chasing the their games to win and reciver their loses, the more they are losing what they have everytime they are losing a game and this is one of the bad effects of being an addict on playing gambling.
423  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcoin podcast Tagalog? on: October 29, 2020, 01:07:45 PM
Not necessarily podcast, pero may mga online meetups(through videochat) ang mga ilang pinoy. Hosted sa YouTube channel ng BloomX ung mga re-plays.

If you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcOjiC-gHvc7z3vWYyxrbRg/videos

WOW! thank  you dito mate Wink
Hindi pa ako nakarinig ng podcast about bitcoin using filipino language. If there is any gusto ko matry pakinggan.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 29, 2020, 10:48:27 AM
Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? Not really affecting, the more BTC we get when we win.

gambling became another way for me to switch FIAT money into cryptos

The sudden increase of bitcoins' value has no direct effect from my gambling experience because it is all about the price of bitcoin itself and not the rates from Casino's or anywhere you can play gambling. The increase of bitcoins' value is useless most especially if you don't have coins. It's all about the quantity, the more coins you have, the more chances of playing.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 28, 2020, 11:59:39 PM
Sometimes the first glance at a gambling site makes you want to go to Google and search for the reputation of this casino. At the same time, some gambling and betting sites are so popular that I have heard about them far beyond the bitcoin forum. When I chose a site for the game, I didn't even look at whether it has any license)
It is okay for me that you sometimes look for the license for your assurance. It is the thing that you may hold on if something gets fishy. So you will notice it easily if they will gonna run your funds. But if you did not leave any assets in your gambling site account maybe it is not needed so much.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the difference between stablecoins? on: October 28, 2020, 11:28:26 PM
There’s no big difference. Price will be same, I mean stable. Only difference is the chain. Like BUSD in the Binance chain, tether in the ETH Chain. This is the main difference. It depends on people which chain stable coins he will trade Cheesy
Yes, stablecoins are simply a coin that is peg in usd. 1:1 ratio. If you may notice they are not have so difference in their price.  And most or all of the defi projects have their peg coin maybe usdt or tusd. If the usd isnat peak their price will rise, if the dollar dumps their price will dump too. Just correct me if I'm wrong.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 28, 2020, 04:13:09 PM
I haven't seen any Gamblig Platform who used Telegram for Promotions, most I know is that they use Discord.
Do you have any Idea why they don't have any Telegram Communities? and why does it seem they don't use this platform for their promotions?

In discord it is much easier, you only need swipe to the right if you need to see the channel or groups instantly, and some website I think they use discord to communicate since I think is far more secure, I've heard it to someone I forgot the name. And as you can see some live stream games uses discord, that's why it is far more good than telegram, you may use discord because of its unique feature than telegram.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: October 27, 2020, 03:49:09 PM
Signal group is also high risk . I though you will teach how to analyze the market but you are offering a signal group which members I'd  following your prediction, it is the same as copy trade. They need to also paid before they will notify for the signal which is mostly use only to earn money not to help traders.

If you are newbie in trading don't follow his suggestion its better to learn by your own and know how to handle  risk management, than following signal. there are many people already lost a lot with that.
I agree, signal trading now is not so reliable, I had join many signal group in telegram but none of them is real, I mean they will only let people to invest in some shitcoins maybe they are part of the devs of it, and then they will leave the group. In trading we need a deeper understanding in everything so that we can be able to analyze market growth and everything.

431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you hide your identity with bitcoin? (100%) on: September 23, 2020, 05:51:32 AM

With monero maybe... But actually there are no 100% anonimity in the internet. In IRL too, i guess

You can hide your identity with bitcoins. Your transaction will be anonymous and no one can trace it. That's the reason why the government is against it. Most criminals use bitcoins to sell drugs, weapons, illegal things so police can't reach them.
You can't hide your identity with bitcoin. A few weeks ago, a team of money launderers of the criminals caught using the collaboration of bitcoin exchanges and authority. But as long as you don't do anything wrong or illegal, no one cares about your identity except exchanges that require KYC.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 22, 2020, 08:17:50 AM

433  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk, as a financial institutes. on: September 22, 2020, 02:23:00 AM
Bitcointalk was the platform for many people who suffer lot to fulfil their basic needs such as food and shelter .Even some became a rich by participating in multiple bounty like Signature, twitter and facebook. The token will be low value, when you received it.It will be huge when you hold for long.
Bounty before is too profitable. Right now, you can't get rich by just participating bounties.

The bitcointalk platform is for all. For wealthy people who want to accumulate more knowledge, more sources of income. And for poor people who want to learn the necessary skills to earn bitcoin. This forum was created for meaningful discussion and sharing ideas to know more and learn new concepts of making money.

436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: March 03, 2020, 01:34:57 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?

I never tried trading at work or while working, I just think I needed more focus while I am trading and definitely the workplace is not the perfect place for me.
We cannot pay more attention when doing trading at work. Much better to do it at home where you can focus and a secured environment. So I also never tried doing this when I'm at work and also at home I am at ease.

Exactly when worse comes to worst i might got caught by my boss and at the same time lose the trade. Embarrassed

438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 29, 2020, 04:35:47 PM
Today I'm thinking of selling my BTC even though it would be a big loss right now I've been with BTC a while and used to the volitility but this time I believe it's different

I was a believer in BTC and the future of crypto I believed having 1 or more BTC was a smart thing to do that many would look back in 10 to 20 years wishing they'd bought some when it was still obtainable by the regular Joe.

Now I feel that BTC will trend down hitting sub 1 dollars prices possibly even 0 over the next 12 to 18 months. the current coronavirus outbreak has been BTCs first real test and it failed hard and failed immediately. It's not a store of wealth and its failure to hold value in a economic down turn is spectacular and visible to all.  Today I think BTC is a failed experiment. What are your thoughts?

I guess your experience in crypto is like what your rank here in the forum. All I can say is Stay for much longer then Thank me later. Wink
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GMD]The Geoma DAO - Steady and sustainable wealth creation. on: February 28, 2020, 03:17:32 PM
blockchain is really on evolving .. till now i didnt know what DOA meant ..  and deFI ??

The education of the masses is one of the purposes of this project.

If more people realize that there's another way they will fight for what is right, in every case education is power (and by power I don't mean that selfish and greedy approach).

You can look at a DAO and see the true meaning of democracy.

I like the idea of Dao and Defi and blockchain altogether, I would love to join this bounty and see the progress till the end.

it seems that Ethereum is being quiet lately , Hopefully when Bitcoin rallied this 2020 Etherium will follow.
