421  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: October 26, 2017, 02:49:03 PM
Yes loans are not only risky, but very stupid because when it comes to deflationary currency, if the value goes up people stop actually paying their loans back. Unless you have a good amount of collateral, it isnt worth it. Even then its questionable.
Yes, you’re really making a point right here. People don’t pay back loans, and it’s very stupid to give out loans, especially online, you will even be taking more risks. I would advise he keep his Bitcoins. But meeh…what the…this guy is damn rich!

423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: October 09, 2017, 06:25:12 AM
Replace gold in what sense? This comparison between bitcoin and gold should not exist. These two are very different from each other. Gold is not just a metal dug out to be sold, it is also not just a jewelry. It is a scarce and precious metal used in different industries. So it is very different from bitcoin.
I must say that bitcoin has already defeated gold in so many ways. Most of the people who were previously investing in gold are now investing their money in bitcoin. As far as I think, gold will be only used as a jewelry in the near future and it will be bitcoin only who will be leading the race. Bitcoin is no doubt far more profitable as compared to that of gold from investment point of view.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very early adopters (early 2009) and how much they made on: October 05, 2017, 08:41:57 AM
60 addresses with early 50BTC block reward in them and someone had the keys, or found/rescued his old keys.
Do you have a link to that thread?
i don't remember anything interesting about that thread although there has been a couple of them.
these coins were moved after the Bitcoin Cash fork off. which brings up the possibility that someone wants to get ready to claim his airdrop. although coins on BCH chain has not yet moved, so this is speculation at this point. maybe the owner is waiting for a pump or waits for people to stop watching him so he can sell them without crashing the price of BCH.

Quote
I remember reading, that if someone would ever spend a single one of the early 50BTC block rewards, which are assumed to belong to Satoshi himself. Then the value of Bitcoin would collapse, because that could mean that someone controls keys to all the 1000000 coins in those addresses and they could come and crash the market.
the early blocks were mined by more people than just 1 satoshi.
the 1 million is also a big guess. we don't know how much coin Satoshi really owns.
but yeah if these coins move, they can cause some panic but i don't think there will be a big "crash" and i seriously doubt that Satoshi is going to move the coins to dump and crash the market in any sense.
Those who are the early investors are now the most successful among the community and all this is just because they took initiative and put their money into the coins and then they secured huge profit that was not easy they faces a lot of problems critics but they have believe in them and they did it in good way and now they are enjoying.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: October 04, 2017, 04:17:38 PM
I've read somewhere in this forum a thread back 2016 that says about his predictions on bitcoin and he also added some of his predictions on other matters that came true. He predicted that bitcoin will disappear in few months from that time it was posted. Funny but now it happened exactly the opposite because it has not only doubled in price but i think it became stronger even after this rumors spreading distroying bitcoin.
I have never ever paid any attention to such fate tellers. Really, no one can tell the future and it is better to not open our mouths if we cannot utter something good out of it. If bitcoin was to die, then it would have happened within first 2 to 4 years. Bitcoin is an invention while yahoo is a site. Both have different factors. Yahoo gets hack often so people left it while bitcoin has all good features so its users increased.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you lose BTC somehow? forgot passord, computer crash ... on: October 04, 2017, 03:22:40 PM
Had a 1.85 btc accumulated from the dust spam way back 2015, and have stored them only on a blockchain.info wallet without any clue to spend it or to transfer it somewhere safe. Those dust came from numerous private keys that I just swept and somehow accumulated it to 1.85 btc without me knowing it. I've lost the identifier and the password (most especially the mnemonics to unlock the wallet) that could potentially give me a good $5000 at most since I already found a way to spend those dust outputs.
I don't know who is responsible behind this mishap but sorry to hear about your loss. 5000 dollars is a good amount however, it is not the end of the world. You can earn that much amount again by the same method you used earlier and nest time you must write down the identifier and password somewhere safe so that no such causality occurs again.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: October 04, 2017, 02:24:23 PM
Nothing is easy, your perception is wrong that people easily grow their BTC, they earn by their work and ability.
BTW there are few ways to grow your BTC like trading, gambling , mining etc. Mining is low profitable than other two, while gambling involves high risk so i will not suggest you to do gambling. Trading is in fact the best of all, you can earn huge profit if you are aware of the market and have a bit knowledge about trading.
Exactly! I think it is not a big deal to increase the number of Bitcoin you own. The only thing which matters is none other than your own knowledge level. I think you can easily increase your Bitcoins by starting doing trade of Bitcoin you have. But before getting into it, you need to learn all the things which can be helpful in trading.

428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: October 04, 2017, 10:40:28 AM
How to control greed on gambling OP asks. By not gambling? Lost 3 BTC once in bustabit even with what I thought it was a "infallible" strategy and never gambled again. If you want to gamble then It is better to gamble your money on the altcoin market.
If you decide to leave gambling for good then that is fine, but we do not have to be like that, one way to leave your greed behind could be to play some friendly gambling games with your family in which the most important thing is not to earn money but to  relax and have a good time, with time you will get used to this and you will have the same attitude in a casino.
It may work for some but not for others. If a person is looking after money only, then it really does not matter who his opponent is, the intentions will remain the same. It could be that he might enjoy the game more but he would still want to win and earn some profits.
Actually it is the matter of greed. Human is greedy and it is natural, everyone is. So as you said, whatever you are against, whosoever giving you lessons for not being greedy still you are ending you looking for more profits and easy money.

Still many can control themselves and majority got victimized of this greed, it happens. Still hopeful for not being greedy.

429  Economy / Economics / Re: Someone from 2020 contacted me on: October 03, 2017, 01:53:22 PM
There are a lot of people guessing Bitcoin price sometime in the future... most of them believe it will worth much more than $12000. Let's see what happens... I do believe it will worth more than $12000 too.
We have a little bit more than two years to reach the first day if that year, however the halving is not going to happen until the middle of the year and we need some months before the price goes up like what happened with the most recent halving.

Well the halving years are worth noting because they'd tend to increase our Bitcoin value astronomically just lto he it happened last year and we are seeing the effects this year.
Yes, you are right and that is why before the halving we need to get as much bitcoin as we can, immediately after the halving not much happens but after a few months the lesser amount of bitcoin being mined is felt by the community and the price goes up as a consequence.
I consider this prediction as very much true if we see the past record of Bitcoin like the way market price of Bitcoin is increasing tremendously with each passing day. I must say that this is a very prime time for all of us to buy as many Bitcoins as you can right now without waiting for anything else. If you will not buy, you will lose this opportunity.

430  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: October 03, 2017, 10:10:39 AM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

it true , but just one something u cant buy using money , it happyness.
everybody cant buy happyness with money , happyness come when we can feel good with this life condition , family and other.
sometimes u need happyness when u rich.  Roll Eyes
Yes true, happiness can not be calculated with money, I think a lot of things that could not be assessed with money for example are a family, time and health. Everyone will pay whatever just so healthy.
It all depends on which thing you are comparing with money. If you are talking from materialistic point of view, then there is no doubt that money is the most important thing and is placed above all other things. On the other hand, if you are taking from happiness and family point of view, then money has no worth in front of them.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: October 02, 2017, 07:47:44 AM
There are many reasons why people investing bitcoin
 1. because bitcoin is a great help to everyone and very easy to earn money and even if you have no work and are at home.
 2. bitcoin are many uses interns of investment like trading, mining, gambling and invest to other business.
 3. bitcoin is very much profitable because it has a very fast rate high.
Yes, Bitcoin is a great help for everyone, but not everyone knows how to earn Bitcoin. There are so many people who know about Bitcoin, they want to earn it but they have had a lot of difficulties. As for the benefits of Bitcoin, it proved to be a worthwhile investment. Not only us but many well-known investors in the world also have a positive opinion about Bitcoin. And one more reason, Bitcoin is increasingly accepted by large companies or businesses. Investing in Bitcoin is well deserved

Investing in bitcoin is smarter as compare to any other business and the main reason is it give huge bunch of profit on daily basis so no one will refuse such an intensive profit giving thing and  bitcoin is accepted all over the world at huge scale and one can easily buy sitting at home at one click using bitcoin. Bitcoin is the investment of successors and it makes millionaires.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: October 02, 2017, 07:19:15 AM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
I am not worried even though the price will drop dramatically, I would be worried if the price would rise again.
There is no need of getting panic especially at the present time when the market price of Bitcoin is falling down. In fact, this is a very good opportunity for all of us to increase the number of Bitcoins by buying as many Bitcoins as we can. This will result in a good amount of profit for us in the future.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading? on: October 02, 2017, 06:37:47 AM
hi everyone,

I want to learn trading of crytocurrency. As a new in trading, I want to learn first. Could anyone can help me how to start and from where I can learn trading.
Join a paid reputable signals service, by the time you will learn how they decide buy/sell points. You can find free courses on youtube, but Always paid services and trading groups are better, because you are dealing with experienced traders.
There are numerous methods of learning the fundamentals of trading and some for the best options you have already discussed here. I also prefer dealing with experienced traders and veterans than all the time watching YouTube videos and listening to the strategies. Besides I always suggest those who want to learn trading to practice it on their own with small amounts.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: September 30, 2017, 01:52:39 PM
I don't have any invested money in bitcoin but I have invested my free time and knowledge. Now, I have bitcoins in my wallet and yet I feel like the times I have been lurking in this forum is paying off every week. I'm planning just to hold the coins that are coming to my wallet and planning to convert it when exchanges get high.
I had invested in bitcoin and no future plan is that it will give me more than I expect and I can buy whatever I want and will invest more into it for the secure life after the retirement, bitcoin never let me down and will not in future so advice to all is invest and grab profit with both hands,
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has gone beyond gold prices on: September 30, 2017, 01:27:18 PM
The current condition of bitcoin has a price of around $ 3200, gold price is much cheaper around $1200 (XAU-USD), there is the possibility of bitcoin prices will still increase the selling price.

To be honest at the moment I am also a bit confused with the choice because as we all know bitcoin is a digital product, very vulnerable to maintain the digital asset product.

Currently I only allocate my money to the world of crypto assets about 30% of my income. In hopes the price will increase, but I can not allocate 40-80% of my income cryake asset because I can not use crypto as payment.

If payments using bitcoin are already accepted everywhere, I will allocate my earnings about 70%
Don’t worry; soon the bitcoins are going to legal around the globe leaving people in great joy. I also think that acceptance of bitcoins as payments by local retailers will increase the interest in the bitcoins leading to more investments. I appreciate your belief in bitcoins and wish you great future with bitcoins.
That is yet to be seen. Bitcoins could even be banned by all countries for all we know. It is indeed the future, but what is futuristic is the idea of bitcoins and bitcoins itself can be replaced by something else like governments creating their own cryptocurrency that would replace their fiat currency so that they would get rid of paper money. That could be the next big thing for all we know.
agree.. something like that could happen. i assume that the government wont set aside this matters, and to think that it already exceeds the price of gold, someday the government will take action i guess, and then next thing its either they will accept or ban it depending on the situation, or maybe you are right they will make their own version of crypto to upgrade the fiats the we are currently using.
This is much true it worth more than gold in previous days and then it dump and now gaining it position back and it will be good to see it back at its position and will give a lot of profit to the investors and any of businessmen are getting into crypto so that they can earn more,
436  Economy / Economics / Re: GoodNews: Japan is finally given licence to bitcoin exchanges on: September 30, 2017, 12:26:00 PM
I think Japan will take the leading role in community from China, if China`s government will ban exchanges, mining and Bitcoin at all. I like Japan`s style of working with future technologies and i think one day Tokio became capital of all cryptocurrency community and all mining powers will be there.
This is the best decision by japan by letting bitcoin into their community and this will help their economy more and many other countries will follow japan and will get into it Japanese gave their people a chance to earn more and stabilize  their finance and economy.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: September 30, 2017, 12:07:06 PM
It is not the Bitcoin itself which made the revolution in the market. It was the blockchain technology. So, could Bitcoin be replaced by another cryto-currenc? Hardly, but it is possible. However, it is important to remember the fact this new currency would be using the very same blockchain technology from Bitcoin itself, and this is not necessarily mean that Bitcoin will loose all its value. I think this is a matter we do not need to worry about for the next 10 years, because Bitcoin is still a "toddler"!
It is impossible to replace bitcoin with some other crypto the main reason is the profit rate and its follower no one will invest into the new coin rather bitcoin is giving them showers of profit so don’t think like that the investor gain more in bitcoin than investing in any other coin and it is most stable coin of era.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: September 30, 2017, 11:28:51 AM
Future of Bitcoin Economics depends on mass adoption of Bitcoin. No body can predict accurately the true future of Bitcoin.
Yes, the more people investing and knowing the potential bitcoin can only make the price increase, as long the users and future generation will acknowledge bitcoin, this will have a good future.
I must say if we believe in the fact that internet will be lasting for more than centuries in upcoming era so you can’t deny the future, a bright one, of bitcoins. Technological aspects are always preferred in present times and in future, so bitcoins are easy way to go with.

439  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: September 30, 2017, 10:41:28 AM

How can we make more money?

Yup, as you said that we can earn money just doing activities in the forum. From these results, all ideas will be realized using the services of the signature campaign. Where it can we follow if indeed we qualify, the main core is that we must work professionally.
