Your English is actually very good. I would take the free advice from those who are offering first. Then, and only then, if need be, reach out to the lowest bidder. There are enough people on this forum who should be able to help you for free or next to nothing.
If you still need help, I will give you a few minutes of my time for free.

First of all I would put all my eggs of 20k into bitcoin cheers! Andrew
You lost me at "I would put all my eggs of 20K into... Investing 101 tells you not to put everything into 1 basket. If that one source of 20k ends up being a failure, you've lost everything! You have to diversify your investments! Even if the OP were to keep 10k (half) in bitcoin, I would diversify how the btc was being invested: I would put a lot into trading, but I would put some into lending and maybe even escrow. You're telling him to put all his money into 1 website. What if his wallet gets hacked, or the site goes bust? Or a million other reasons not to put everything into 1 basket. And you're plugging your own wacky twitter feed and equally wacky company. OP, diversify your 20K. Don't listen to the one-basket Willies!

If you want to start trading, start with local bitcoins (localbitcoins.com) and hopefully you can find someone in your area that you can sell bitcoins to. Do small amounts first. Also, learn about the buyer's side by buying small amounts first.
If there is nobody local, then find a reputable online buyer/seller and buy/sell via cash-deposit to a bank. It is the least risky.
Once you get a handle on local trades, I would then consider joining an exchange. There are so many to choose from, and it depends if you are from the U.S. or from Europe. I know people who have had luck with Gemini, Circle, and itbit. For Europe: bitstamp and btc-e seem to be the best.
But take it slowly. It can be rough out there and there are scammers around every corner.
Good luck!
but i think trading on localbitcoins is harder for someone who wants to start trading because first of all you will need reputation to be able to trade more and also the worst part is the scams that can happen while using their services. Nah, with that logic, nobody would start trading! You have to start somewhere, right? Especially for those who are new to trading in general, I would start with a local person-person trade. It takes the least amount of risk, $, and know how. You don't have to know anything technical, and if you have any sense of customer service skills, you may get a repeat customer. What local buyers are looking for are a reasonable price, convenience and someone who won't scam them. If you agree to a public place like a fast food place, etc., that will reduce the worry in the buyer. If you send directly to a wallet, follow the confirmations on blockchain.info. Wait for at least 1 confirmation. What will win you business is price, customer service and common sense.

Can someone please explain why this account isn't banned already?
And why would the OP want to keep the account anyway?

You have to remember the aspect of arbitrage between different bitcoin exchanges (bitstamp, bitfinex, localbitcoins, btc-e) and the extra perks that long term traders may get on each of them. If you can buy bitcoins for $400 at one exchange and sell it for $410 at another then with high enough volumes you can make some money.
An even better way is to buy them below exchange rate! It is possible, but it requires a lot of work- online and offline marketing- and patience. Slowly but surely you can find people who are willing to sell below exchange rate: miners, preppers, and from people with other lifestyle choices. It won't happen over night, but with time and effort you can build up a good network.

Not sure if you've already looked on localbitcoins, paxful, or even ebay. I believe the rates are very expensive because it is a high-risk payment for the seller. Too many people have been burned with accepting them as payment but the cards end up being stolen.

OP, if your finally have 20k to invest, it sounds like you either worked hard for investment $ or you came into some $. Because this is a lot of money to you:
I would definitely NOT put it all into bitcoins. Like a few people said before, bitcoins is a risky investment (said the guy on a bitcoin forums.) I would maybe invest half at most in bitcoin and I would do something like arbitrage or lending on a viable website. Even that's risky. BTCjam recently barred U.S. citizens from any new investments.
As for the other half: I would NOT invest in gold or precious metals unless you really do some reading. They all seem to be trending downwards over the past few years. A great time to buy gold is at the beginning of a major recession that affects the U.S. Sell it when U.S. starts showing signs of improving/optimisim..
So what to invest in? I would suggest the stock market. You could could take the 10k and spread them out amongst blue chips like IBM or Coke, and also amongst companies that you know are going to innovate, like Apple, and Amazon. But you have to do your homework.
OP, you should definitely take at least a month thinking about how to invest you money that you finally got. Talk to successful investors you irl too.
Good luck!

Great thread!
I have done a few local transactions using the local bitcoins platform. I agree with a lot of what's been said. Just to reinforce or add on to best practices:
1) If I am doing a big transaction in which I have to bring a few k to the meeting, for the first time: I get to know the seller as much as I can thru chat. If the guy (mostly men; met 1 woman) sounds like he is ok, just a bitcoin "enthusiast" (people who want to live under the radar), then I meet.
2) First time meets, I always do during the day.
3) As people have mentioned, I don't recommend wifi. Use mobile tethering if possible. If not possible, just use your phone. If you don't have a phone, which some people don't, localbitcoins has a secret code to ensure that buyers don't get scammed. Once the bitcoins are released, the secret code is revealed to the seller, who then confirms with the buyer.
4) I would suggest to women: bring someone else. As someone mentioned earlier, strength in numbers.
5) If you don't use local bitcoins (because of their 1% fee) make sure to use blockchain.info and wait for at least 1 confirmation. Again, establish a minimum level of trust.
ETC.

What would you pay for an iPhone 1? It came with a dock and controller, I include that too. It is in a used condition, and there is a line of dead pixels a few pixels wide across the screen.
Hi Monnt, I will add your phone to the list of types which I'll ask my friends in Nicaragua. I wouldn't expect too much, but I as a U.S. citizen who only visits Central America, I don't know for sure. BTW, thanks to all who have posted. I have sent out an email to 3 friends in Nicaragua and 1 in Mexico. Hopefully they will get back to me soon, but Latin America time is different than U.S. time

I have some old mobile phones. they are useless for me. but may you can do something with theses. but let me tell you these are not smartphones. some of them camara phones and some of them simple mobile phones.. no problem if you pay me one two dollars for each. and one more thing I am not from USA.. but it is not a big issue. we can easily ship these to everywhere.
I'm not sure if they have any value. I can ask. If they have no value to you, and you want to send them to me, I will definitely bring them down when I go in July. I could pay you for postage if that helps. Not sure what else you want. I mean I know you want one or two dollars for them. Just think about that for a second from their perspecitve: one or two dollars down there is like 10 or 20 dollars in the U.S. If I sold them for what I bought them for, they would still be too expensive. It's a priority thing: they have to be thinking about how to pay the rent, much less how to pay for a cell phone. Anyhow, if you want to pm/post what you have, and how many, and the cost of the postage to a U.S. address, we could see if we can make something work. Thanks!

I have a mint iphone 4s thats just sitting in the box
I am pretty sure its still linked to verizon although I have not used the phone in a couple years.
What would you par for a mint 4s
I will email my friends and they can get back to me. Just to adjust your expectations, and not to kill the sale, but I imagine you could probably do better on ebay. But, if you're okay with getting less, knowing you'll get something for it, and you'll help some Central American dude can catch up to 2011 U.S standards, then we may have a deal. Nevertheless, I will check with my friends, because they know their market better. Thanks for the opportunity!

Can anyone explain what the deal is with absinthe? Aside from providing a link, can someone explain what the sensation is like? How does it compare to getting drunk? Getting stoned (weed)?
Absinthe (Listeni/ˈæbsɪnθ/ or /ˈæbsænθ/; French: [apsɛ̃t]) is historically described as a distilled, highly alcoholic (45–74% ABV / 90–148 U.S. proof) beverage.[1][2][3][4] It is an anise-flavoured spirit derived from botanicals, including the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium ("grand wormwood"), together with green anise, sweet fennel, and other medicinal and culinary herbs.[5] Absinthe traditionally has a natural green colour but may also be colourless. It is commonly referred to in historical literature as "la fée verte" (the green fairy). Although it is sometimes mistakenly referred to as a liqueur, absinthe is not traditionally bottled with added sugar; it is therefore classified as a spirit.[6] Absinthe is traditionally bottled at a high level of alcohol by volume, but it is normally diluted with water prior to being consumed. Absinthe originated in the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland in the late 18th century. It rose to great popularity as an alcoholic drink in late 19th- and early 20th-century France, particularly among Parisian artists and writers. Owing in part to its association with bohemian culture, the consumption of absinthe was opposed by social conservatives and prohibitionists. Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Charles Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Arthur Rimbaud, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Oscar Wilde, Marcel Proust, Aleister Crowley, Erik Satie, Edgar Allan Poe, Lord Byron and Alfred Jarry were all known absinthe drinkers.[7] Absinthe has often been portrayed as a dangerously addictive psychoactive drug and hallucinogen.[8] The chemical compound thujone, although present in the spirit in only trace amounts, was blamed for its alleged harmful effects. By 1915, absinthe had been banned in the United States and in much of Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Austria-Hungary. Although absinthe was vilified, it has not been demonstrated to be any more dangerous than ordinary spirits. Recent studies have shown that absinthe's psychoactive properties (apart from that of the alcohol) have been exaggerated.[8] A revival of absinthe began in the 1990s, following the adoption of modern European Union food and beverage laws that removed longstanding barriers to its production and sale. By the early 21st century, nearly 200 brands of absinthe were being produced in a dozen countries, most notably in France, Switzerland, Australia, Spain, and the Czech Republic.Best used, diluted with a bit of water, if you want to preserve the original taste. ^smile^ Yah, thanks for the wikipedia reference or wherever you got it from. What I meant was, what does it feel like? Does anyone have any firsthand experience with absinthe who can describe what the experience was like? Thanks!

It has over a 5 million alexa ranking, no one is on the site. Plus your trust doesn't look so great. PM me with proof of ownership and I would consider.

I have an IPhone 4, but 15 dollars isn't going to cut it.
What would cut it? Can you give a price range? I'm guessing if you want the most $ from your iPhone, you would have better luck selling it on eBay. Unfortunately, my target market just can't afford much.

So you might want a BTC>USD proxy purchaser/search agent for older smartphones on eBay?
What are you offering? PM me so you can elaborate. Thanks! I'm suggesting somebody might do that for you. I can only do the search agent part right now. I've searched on eBay manually. Everybody is trying to make a profit (understandably). The prices are geared towards to people who live in developed countries. They are too high for my Central American friends. It's just the way it is down there.
