421  Economy / Services / Re: [Slots Increased but still FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: July 26, 2017, 09:00:20 PM
You accepted someone applied after me and even accepted someone without signature in place? kind of a dick move mate.

Probably because you clearly don't speak fluent English.

Former Bitmixer campaigners should not be allowed here. You are the enemy and want to work for ChipMixer?

Funny. Grin

Did you forget that you are a former bitmixer campaigner, and that's where you got SMAS blacklisted?

I did not get accepted, therefore automatically blacklisted for 60 days.

You told me to improve my post quality and I have. I also don the ChipMixer logo as my avatar, which no one else cares enough to do and even bumped your signature campaign manager advertising thread. I am fully committed to making you look good as the signature campaign manager for ChipMixer by continuing to write high quality posts in flawless English.

Btw, Bitmixer was closed. Why can't they start advertising a new service that can take the place as the biggest mixer? It's not personal.

Why does ChipMixer need Bitmixer "oldies" when they have fresh Hero/Legendary applicants? Roll Eyes

Of course it isn't personal... just business. Wink

425  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-e hacked ?? on: July 25, 2017, 07:44:21 PM
Yeah this is messed up. It looks like they are getting DDOSed as the price is crashing hard globally. Haven't been able to access the site in many hours.

Having terrible experiences in the past with exchanges like Cryptsy, I am very, very worried right now. Lost a ton of money before, and don't want it happening again.

I vouch for Darkstar. He is very professional at running campaigns!
427  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 25, 2017, 05:22:45 AM
Hey, I am 15 year old and wondering if i can have signature campaign as job, imo yes, because i completed 2 signature campaigns (mobilego and zrcoin) and i got 808 mobilegocoins which is worth about 800 euros, and 54 zrcoins which was worth about 50 euro. What do you think?

Sorry if my english is bad, It is not my language. Sometimes I might mean things other than I wrote

Edit 1: I mean this as a job till I am older and have a full time job, if I have a fulltime job, I will keep this as a side job (if it is still possible)

Signature campaigns are meant to be a supplementary income. You will not get rich by doing them, but you will get some extra cash to buy stuff like video games, groceries, etc. Just make sure your posts are high quality so you can join the best ones.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mixer a must? on: July 25, 2017, 05:17:50 AM
Yes, Bitcoin mixers are a must in the crypto market. Without them, Bitcoin would not be where it is today as it was used mostly for illegal transactions in the early days. These users needed a way to launder their coins to avoid being traced. Do not mix your own coins manually... it takes way too long and isn't as reliable as a professional mixing service.

Now, not all mixing is illegal. In fact, it is perfectly reasonable to want to mix your coins for a variety of reasons. I recommend ChipMixer as they are 100% FREE as opposed to the others who charge commissions.
429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you deal with USD to bitcoin conversions? on: July 22, 2017, 12:07:51 AM
I'd like to ask you all another newb question, with regards to quickly being able to do the math on bitcoin price. Specifically, when you're on the exchange and you're wanting to buy/sell. I'm used to everything being priced in U.S dollars, so I'm having something of a hard time figuring out exactly how much I'm buying. Since the exchanges only deal in the price of bitcoin, and won't tell you how much you're paying in USD.

When I go to buy something and I see a price like "0.00000380 BTC" I have a hard time figuring out how much USD I'll be spending to buy x amount of that coin. How do you deal with this? Especially with the constant flux of the price of bitcoin.

I found this site, but it won't show you tenths of a cent. It only goes down to $0.01. Is there another site out there which you can do quick conversions of bitcoins to dollars, even if the amount is less than 1 penny?

http://www.coindesk.com/calculator/

Maybe this website would be helpful, http://www.btcsatoshi.com

It is powered by CoinDesk. It will show you the value in Satoshi even down to hundredth of a cent, right now $0.0001 = 4 Satoshis

Couple of similar sites:

http://satoshitobitcoin.co/satoshi-to-usd/

https://99bitcoins.com/satoshi-usd-converter/

This website http://www.btcsatoshi.com/ is brilla. I love how it gives you not just the conversion but the $1- satoshi conversion too which helps alot. Thanks for the share. Very helpful.

I have been of the opinion for a while now that we should start using satoshis as the main unit of payment. Currently, $1 US is equal to approximately 35,000 satoshis. Why not just use this instead of millibitcoins? I get confused when sites ask for payment in millibitcoins. It would be a lot simpler if they just said "send 500,000 satoshis".
430  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is this woman? Rūta Vanagaitė on: July 21, 2017, 11:59:10 PM
This woman is explaining who have shot 200000 jews in Litauen in 3 Months.
She have discovered that his grandfather killed jews and was deported to Kazahstan.
And other parent exiled in USA (Miami) under fake name, being the head of Panevezys Police in 1941.

She is talking about reaction of litauens to his book.

Will going to Litauen for treasures hunting on the place of Jew Mass Grave, the entry is only €3?
Or buying the Jew mass grave for €35000?

you could at least give more details of why open this thread or at least what is the subject?

Here is something in English.

You should get banned. I don't understand how your account is allowed here. Your username is "Sex Video Chat" and your signature is a link which could very well be spyware/malware. How you got to 300+ activity is beyond me. I would not visit your website with a 10 foot pole!   Roll Eyes
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 15, 2017, 04:41:33 PM
My prediction is that Bitcoin will continue crashing down to $1,100 and then begin rising again until it is over $10,000. I believe this current crash will bottom out after a year or two.

It will then take a few years (give or take) to slowly build the price up to over $10,000.

Therefore, to answer your question I would give it one or two years until BTC rises back to $3,000 again, for the reasons mentioned above.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: true benefit of bitcoin to North American economy? on: July 15, 2017, 02:19:35 AM
Do you think Satoshi made Bitcoin for the benefits of north American economies? he made it for individual economic benefits, and as a thing I hate about Bitcoin is the fact that every body can use it to their own advantage. I see a future where USD has no value as a global currency and instead every body using crypto/decentralized currencies.

I agree with you. Bitcoin transactions have no middle man. This is very good for the individual, who no longer needs to process every single transaction through their bank. However, I don't understand why you hate this aspect of Bitcoin. It is one of the main reasons people love BTC to begin with.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an agreed currency code for Bitcoin? on: July 15, 2017, 01:22:08 AM
Sorry if this has been asked before.

Is there a decision, official ISO list, or any other consensus on the actual proper ticker / currency code for Bitcoin yet?

BTC / XBT etc..

... each exchange seems to be using their own code, it's still the wild west out there.

Cheers,
Frank.

As the other stated already, BTC is the obvious official currency code currently.

However, I know that XBTfreelancer.com disagrees. That is a big Bitcoin based freelancing site. So obviously some people prefer using XBT.

From an overall perspective, BTC is far and away more well known and used than XBT though.

I did not even realize that XBT was a legitimate code for Bitcoin until joining this forum. I thought it was just a thing exchanges used for whatever reason to represent Bitcoin. Ever since learning about Bitcoin in 2013, I had always thought the only official, widely used code was BTC.
434  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucet BTC on: July 15, 2017, 01:19:50 AM
Can anyone share free faucet claim no time to wait for claim again and highest paying
Please share the faucet to me

There is no faucet available anymore that will pay you enough Bitcoin to make it worth your while. You get practically nothing. It is better if you learn how to trade Bitcoin, or join an affiliate program or signature campaign here on this forum to make Bitcoins by working. Do not waste your time with faucets, you will not make a lot.
435  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just received small BTC randomly? Strange transactions. on: July 14, 2017, 10:10:29 PM
I just received 0.00000001 BTC yesterday out of the blue.  Looking at the transaction ID, whoever or whatever it was sent the same amount to a bunch of other addresses.  Any idea what is going on?

Transaction ID
146b436377f364dcd9d1a74e70b75e47e695cb345d1e2ba566a6afc6575f6f25

lol it's only 0.0000001btc, maybe that person just testing his wallet and sent the bitcoin randomly.

I agree with this. Most likely, this guy just learned about Bitcoin and is simply testing his wallet/transactions to figure out how it works. With that said, it is still an odd and strange occurrence. Especially considering transaction fees... wouldn't this guy be paying quite a bit in fees if he is randomly sending out 1 Satoshi to lots of people?
436  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Kraken] fiat slowly decreasing on: July 14, 2017, 10:07:12 PM
Hello,

I have a kraken account and i deposited some fiat on it.
I did not buy any coins yet (waiting for the right time) but what i noticed is that the fiat value is slowly decreasing by cents!!

So for example, i would have 2000 and then the next day or so it would be 1999.99
It is now at 1999.98 even

Is that normal or something?

Thank you
Doubtful, feels like you misunderstood something.
Can you post proof of your balance decreasing?

I agree. There is definitely some sort of misunderstanding. I do not see how this would be a thing, and if it was there would be more reports on it.

If you are 100% sure this is happening, simply contact Kraken support & ask them why and hopefully they can fix it for you.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF YOU BOUGHT $5 OF BITCOIN 7 YEARS AGO, YOU’D BE $4.4 MILLION RICHER on: July 14, 2017, 01:42:32 AM
I know a guy (or at least knew him). He bought $10,000 of Bitcoin all the way back in 2011 and now he is worth close to $30,000,000. In fact, he is the reason I found out about Bitcoin in the first place. He always posted about it on Facebook. At the time it was only $11. I wish I had known what it would become, but hindsight is always 20/20. I am happy that Bitcoin is going to potentially be worth $1,000,000 someday and if I can make a few, at least will have some skin in the game when that time comes. Smiley
438  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 12, 2017, 04:53:30 AM
hemm,
i feel like playing dice at there not laundry my coin
maybe if chipmixer had grup/channel on telegram,it will be more informatif and effective to handle complain also disscus about mixing, because remember if chipmixer had mixing via bot too.
Why playing dice? Do you mean "gambling" your coins because of the risk of having your private keys stored by ChipMixer?

The best way to avoid this kind of issue would be sweep your new coins after mixing them. Something that in my opinion, almost everybody does. The smartest user wouldn't use this mixer and keep using the address generated by ChipMixer afterwards. That's why I think that many are exaggerating about this situation.

The risk of having your coins stolen by any other mixer is almost the same as with ChipMixer. How many Bitcoins in all private-keys generated by them do you think would be enought to make it worth an exit scam? Do you think someone mixing 10 or 50 Bitcoins would keep their coins in those addresses after mixing?

The guy has a slightly valid point only in in that it is something to consider. However, you are more correct in your opinion that ChipMixer has little to gain from exiting with all of the Bitcoins.

As you say, it is highly unlikely that high volume amounts would be kept in addresses to which ChipMixer holds the private keys. It simply does not make sense that this would be the case. Most likely, in 99% of cases they are moved instantly to more secure means of storage.

ChipMixer is a reliable, trustworthy company that handles millions of USD worth of Bitcoin and this is not something we should be too concerned about, or at least I'm not.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: July 12, 2017, 04:35:16 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Dreaming to become rich with bitcoin is not bad, it is also good that you have a dream and goal. But make sure you also have a determination to do it. I earn bitcoin per week less than .02 btc. And it is quite good for me. I'll save some of it. 😁

0.02/week is pretty good! If you save that for some time, it will become worth A LOT of money. Imagine when Bitcoin becomes worth $100,000. Your 0.02 BTC will then be worth $2,000. If you make this every week then you will make $104,000 per year. Just make sure you save it and do not sell or you will be kicking yourself down the road.
440  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Need help finding Simple solo cpu bitcoin miner c/c++ on: July 12, 2017, 04:32:18 AM
As topic title says, I'm looking for a simple c/c++ cpu bitcoin miner. preferably solo, or something that would connect to Bitcoin-qt run on my local machine.

I am aware it will take about 10 billion years to successfully mine a block, I just want this for learning purposes, and so that I can put my own code into it. I am just very daunted by the whole process, and it would be good if I could see a very basic working version.

Thanks

I don't understand why you would want to waste your time with this. There is a reason nobody uses CPUs or even GPUs to mine Bitcoin in 2017 - it is simply a worthless endeavor. Consider buying an antminer s9, if you really want to spend worthwhile time with mining. They come with pre-installed software included which allows you to simply input a few details to connect to your mining pool and get started instantly. I highly recommend this option for you.
