421  Economy / Economics / Re: China is able to do 50%+1% attack. It means, China dominating the crypto's. Or? on: November 02, 2019, 04:04:45 AM
Quantum supremacy is but words for now. And although it is a possibility that is coming nearer in reality, there is nothing to be afraid of. This is only a big deal for FUD spreader and their victims. Quantum technology in computers is not monopolized by Google. The geniuses in the crypto world has already anticipated it long before it will even hit the market. In fact, steps have been done both in planning and in actual development that will somehow address this Quantum hype and FUD.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Africunia [AFCASH] website hacked - Users beware! on: November 02, 2019, 03:21:48 AM
Being incompetent was a first sign that this project is not to be taken seriously. They have been called and didn't do anything about it? What are they waiting for? Until hackers took off all the money and then this blame those wallet holders? Glad I'm not into this shit coin, for those holders, I don't know if you can sell off, but expect for the worst here.

Holders should move their AFCASH now. They urgently need to evacuate. We should thank the OP for giving everyone here the heads up. This does not look good at all.

If the project is not doing something despite advance warnings, this means there are two possibilities. That the project is indeed incompetent and should not be trusted, or the attack is coming from someone from the inside or has links from the inside. The attack appears to be given open doors.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TOP25/50 COINS on: November 02, 2019, 02:58:14 AM
Is it only safe to play with top50 coins?
Are you also looking at coins which are not listed on CMc?
Thank you!

I understand if some people are looking at some coins that are not listed on coinmarketcap, especially if the coins are just very new and have just hit an exchange or two. That is understandable, but I will not consider it wise if they are banking on a certain coin that has been around for some time and have failed again and again to get on CMC. That simply means the coin is useless.

It is safe to play with top 50 to 100 coins in CMC. They are pretty much trusted and solid.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: November 02, 2019, 02:35:24 AM
As long as cryptocurrencies are not officialy part of economy system, so without regulation and formal introduction into economy system, or governments are not collecting taxes from crypto related businesses they can't make any (recorded) impact on economy, bad or good. That is my opinion.
However, cryptocurrencies can influence individuals in terms of their financial situation and similar but that doesn't have any global impact.

It will definitely have an impact if the people and the businessmen using cryptocurrencies will comprise a large percentage of the population already. If cryptocurrency transactions will remain untaxed, and these transactions involve considerable amounts of money, then economy will be affected for sure. What the government should have received as taxes from these transactions will not end where it should be. There is loss to the government.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gram Tokens could be the next big thing on: November 02, 2019, 02:13:53 AM
Telegram is influential. It has already made a big name in the world. This must be enough for Gram Tokens to get enough attention from possible investors. Gram will surely not end up a shitcoin because of this. But then Telegram has to show to the investors that Gram is indeed useful, that there is a certain important use of the token. Otherwise, it will not grow as imagined. Telegram has a lot of money for development. They will use it to venture more into new innovations.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS would you bu if crypto boom started yesterday? on: November 02, 2019, 01:52:55 AM
And why?

I would buy Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), and Lisk (LSK). I missed all of them when they were very cheap. And I missed them once more when they were moderately cheap. And now, they have already grown so expensive that x5, though still possible, is almost already wishful thinking. Another thing that I would have done is to continue HODLing them despite the pumps. I did not know, for example, that ETH could go as high as $1,000 and even beyond.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between altcoin and bitcoin ?? on: November 01, 2019, 12:37:39 PM
I am a Newbie member, and my knowledge about this is still very low
What is the difference between Bitcoin and altcoin in more detail Huh
thanks admin

I suggest search into google or youtube to get more information what is the difference between bitcoin and altcoins, anyway hope i can help you base in my own  knowledge and understanding the difference bitcoin and altcoins.
Bitcoin is came from the miners using computers with high quality GPU
Altcoins is came from the project devs(ICOS) as alternative currency traded into bitcoin.

The previous posts are already more or less enough to give you the basic understanding of the difference between Bitcoin and altcoins. Additional information should be coming from your own research and studies. The basics are already given to you.

New Bitcoins are mined but it does not mean that Bitcoin can only be accessed through mining. Of course, we can buy Bitcoins anytime. Not all altcoins are coming from the devs or through ICOs. There are also POW altcoins.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: Ideas on how to profit from TUSD true usd.... on: November 01, 2019, 11:14:47 AM
I don't understand why stable coins such as TUSD should be marketed as a speculative asset when it is mainly a stable coin? Do we need to have stable coins when we want them to create profit for us? They are designed to be stable. Their prices should not fluctuate the way other cryptocurrencies do. If we want stable coins to be as volatile as the rest of the cryptocurrencies then they should not peg their value to fiat. They should just assign value to it and let the market determine whether it will rise or not.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance to Open Beijing Office Amid China’s Renewed Blockchain Push on: November 01, 2019, 10:41:01 AM
Binance is coming home. Since china is becoming friendly to blockchain, a lot of people and companies think that china is also becoming friendly to cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. But I have reservations with this actions of china. No one can predict what is running in the minds of this country's leaders. They could just declare Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies other than their own digital currency as illegal. Binance and other crypto companies should be cautious with their decisions.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] DeepOnion ONION New Private Currency ✅ Own ONION Now & Discover Privacy ✅ on: November 01, 2019, 10:23:21 AM
I don't understand why DeepOnion still 600 rank cmc when there is a lot of reasons to be at the same level as Zcash, Dash, Verge, XMR.

2 years old project, community driven, our development is almost exponential since the start.

Agree. There must be something wrong. Deeponion was very vibrant when they started. They were taking the forum by storm. But now, they seem to be stagnant at the bottom. It is ranked slightly lower than 600 in coinmarketcap. And not only that. Rank is not that important if the volume is decent. But the volume of Deeponion is already falling hard at $300 plus. I guess it helps if they will list the coin in one of the major exchanges.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: November 01, 2019, 09:53:33 AM
At the end, another coin will replace it. The problem of all ERC-20 tokens is that they are all dependent on the main crypto, but as soon as developers would understand that ETH is dying, they will just switch to Binance or any other blockchain.
the development of crypto or altcoin depends on the investor itself and as long as there are investors who hold it, the currency still exists even though the value and price are low and if all investors are no longer interested and investors who hold it of course the currency will disappear as well ETH experienced if there are no investors who hold and use it again of course ETH will disappear

To be honest, I would trust Ethereum more than Binance. What is Binance after all? The only reason why Binance made a name is because of its exchange. And its exchange made a name earlier due to the strong marketing team. They promoted it very well, they created hype, and so on. And they succeeded because the exchange is good but not really amazing. Other exchanges can fare as good as them. The Binance blockchain is not yet 2% of what the Ethereum blockchain has achieved.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ANALYST: ALTCOIN SEASON has almost arrived on: November 01, 2019, 09:32:54 AM
Again? Market's in upward trend this year but who to believe and what would you consider as a proved indicator?

https://beincrypto.com/altseason-has-almost-arrived-for-altcoins-according-to-analyst/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=cryptocurrency&utm_content=ff

"almost"
then, how many weeks the market needs until the alt season coming mate ?
because nobody know, right,,
anyway my big hope is altseason will coming before this year end

It might not come within the year. If Bitcoin will make its strongest bullish rally weeks before the year ends, then altcoins might have their own rally in the remaining days of December. But if Bitcoin will rally only in the last few days of December, the altcoin rally might take place in the early weeks of January. But if Bitcoin will fail to even rally hard and reach $15,000, the altcoins might not even see a rally in prices. We will be waiting for months again.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 01, 2019, 08:47:05 AM
Many of these that you mentioned are generally emotion-based decisions. Greed is basically an emotional tendency. It is not rational to be greedy. Falling for HYIP and FOMO are also emotional mistakes. If you stick to the objective assessments of the various indicators you will not give in to FOMO and HYIP. If the charts are saying that the bull run is almost done and it could correct anytime, you don't buy. But others are too emotional to be left behind even if there is no reason for it.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation. on: November 01, 2019, 04:40:29 AM
Manipulation of trading volume is indeed a mistake that has not recently occurred. The real purpose I also do not really understand because there are many possibilities such as, want to raise the prestige of the exchange, want to ride the prestige of a coin, or may want to cheat someone. Whatever the reason, I think this is a mistake that should not be done.

This is not a mistake. A mistake sounds unintentional and is done without any ulterior motive. What is happening with the exchanges right now is outright cheating. The trading volume is very important in the exchanges' reputation because it is the foremost consideration that is being looked into by crypto traders as well as the projects that want their coins to get listed. There are many reasons why an exchange with the highest volume is treated as the top exchange. And many are cheating in this competition.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: November 01, 2019, 04:05:33 AM
It may be sad to accept it but it did fail, but for a single round only. It did not kill the cryptonization or tokenization project. It failed not because the world's cryptonization or tokenization project is bad in itself but because it is not yet the perfect time. The world might not be ready for it yet. But it does not mean that this initiative will stop and will be forgotten. It just had to make the steps smaller and the processes gradual. Little by little, this world will still be tokenized.
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looks likes ETH is breaking out of BTC pair on: November 01, 2019, 03:42:05 AM
It's a good news that altcoins are now starting to recover especially Ethereum. It's the best time for most investors to regain their trust for altcoins again. However, I don't see it as an indication that altcoins could take over Bitcoin because we all know how strong the foundation of Btc is. It will still remain on top and will surely gain a better price soon.
What do you mean that Ethereum has started to recover? The price is still way below, $160, and the lowest price it got is around $80 so I don't see any recovery with it.

The only good thing about Ethereum though is that they have a plan to release ETH 2.0 next year January. Just a couple of months from now. But since the market is still on the bearish trend, we don't know if this is a catalyst to at least see the price hovering $300-$500 and say that it is out of the woods already.
Perhaps the bear market will only benefit Ethereum, because in my opinion it will make it possible to get rid of all the junk coins that are on the cryptocurrency market and clog the Ethereum blockchain.  At least Ethereum already has a transaction speed much higher than Bitcoin and this already makes it a direct competitor and a contender for a leadership position.  For some reason, it seems to me that in the near future we will be able to see Ethereum as a means of payment much faster than this will happen with Bitcoin.  In addition, the erc20 platform is really a very good opportunity for new projects, but only in this case it would not hurt to carry out a certain control among all new projects in order to avoid fraud.

Even theres an IEO in the market I can say that ethereum is very usefull in the market but I'm excited to the ethereum 2.0 and looking forward for more volatility of its price like what happen on 2017 bullish run.
Ethereum has remained the number one altcoin since beginning. Though it has tried to take place of bitcoin but failed. However, it is believed to be the top rival of the king. Due to this, it has also grabbed huge community of supporters and admire its development over the time. Ethereum can go bullish only when bitcoin will. It is not like ethereum was able to achieve its 2017 target on its own.

I don't even consider Ethereum as a competitor of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is plainly a currency, even though it is also being considered by a lot or people as a store of value. But it is made as a currency. Ethereum, on the other hand, is created to offer smart contracts using the Ethereum blockchain technology. Ethereum was not purely created to be an alternative to fiat, unlike Bitcoin. When it comes to price, Ethereum is still not a competitor of Bitcoin. Look at its market cap. It is not even 1/8 of Bitcoin's.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 01, 2019, 03:20:46 AM
I notice that some experts doing online trading journals just show you all their wins, and they hide their loses and anything stupid they did to lose money.  What traders out there sharing their daily trades are The Real McCoy?  I am sure that ever super traders make super stupid mistakes, then they just do not want people to think they did anything stupid. Where are their big loses at? Why do they only show their wins?

The Real McCoy

Many trading experts, especially those self-proclaimed experts, are ashamed of their losses because it is a negative point for them. Their reputation or image as an expert trader is diminished in every loss that he experiences. But not all of course. There are traders who are considered experts who are ready to admit losses. Most of those who hide their losses are those who are doing lectures, seminars, offering books and tutorial videos and other materials to the public. A trading loss must be a loss of trust to them and their abilities and whatever they are selling.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: November 01, 2019, 02:59:06 AM
im sure that in the next or several years, big money will enter this cryptocurrency market. the market is too oversold and should improve to be alive

but, i doubt that it means greater demand for DEX projects. DEX gets small attention from investor. you can see from trading volume is so low

DEX needs more time to be good, but i think it wouldnt in the near future

What do you mean by you are sure that big money will enter in the cryptocurrency market, when you are also saying that the market is too oversold and should be improved at the same time? If the market is too oversold then it is expected that there will be money coming out of it rather than going in. But I think you are wrong in saying that the market is too oversold. It is not even oversold anymore. That is so 2017ish a remark. After 2017, the market has even gone into a state of being undersold. And this is probably a sign that there will be money coming in rather than going out.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Ushering in a Crypto Golden age for India on: November 01, 2019, 02:38:06 AM
Golden opportunity for India to lead the way as we sunset the current monetary system.

Great read-
https://medium.com/indracryptocapital/crypto-and-the-global-south-a-fork-in-the-road-for-india-917404af2a36

The golden age must be coming. Policies and laws should reflect a government that is open-minded and updated to the latest technological advancements. This or they will get stuck in the old traditional systems. I have heard how India is showing refusal to adopt the cryptocurrency developments. This is highly disadvantageous to a country where the potential market is very vast. For sure, crypto companies look at the country as a viable place for their crypto products but since the leaders are not open for it, they are discouraged.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WILL YOU STILL INVEST IN CRYPTO ? on: November 01, 2019, 02:16:47 AM
The boom of ICO's is over. This year we saw some IEO's but basically it was the same, just with changed name, to avoid some restrictions that were implemented in order to block scammy ICO's. A lot of investors lost astronomical amount of money during that ICO's boom. Now days everyone became skeptical about ICO's IEO's and crypto investments in general. So here are some questions.

1. Will you still invest in ICO or IEO if there is an interesting project ?

2. Will you invest in a new ready coin (Not a fork) ? If yes which one do you prefer.

A. Coin with POW algorithm (Mining equipment or pool needed)

B. Coin with POS algorithm (Mining equipment not required. Computer with running wallet is enough.)

C. Coin with POS algorithm based on fixed block reward

D. Coin with POS algorithm based on a percentage reward.

P.S. I excluded masternode coins, because most of them are scams.

1. I will invest in an ICO or IEO, but for a few years already, I have not encountered any truly interesting project.
2. A new coin is not too different from an ICO or IEO. The only difference is that its project is not asking for the money of other people for their development's funding.
3. I would choose a coin with PoS algorithm based on a percentage reward. That is the most fair in my opinion.
