Pro Martial Law or Anti Martial Law? Which is better for the public safety?

I believe the police force already has become over militarized over the recent years.. You see things nowdays already in local law enforcements hands that used to be used during wartime only. IE- Stingrays/Cell site Stimulators. Used to be used to find terrorists hiding in caves, now its used to find anyone, anywhere. Feds have been teaching local law enforcement how to use these devices to take all kinds of data from unsuspecting peoples phones.

Now lets talk civil forfeitures and how much of the FBI's budget comes from money seized from people. Regular people getting stopped with over $10,000 are getting everything taken from them all because of bs laws designed to hurt drug kingpins.

Martial Law would be an all out massacre. People's rights are infringed upon as is enough.

423  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of music do people here on bitcointalk listen to? on: July 12, 2017, 09:14:26 PM
What are people listening to here?

There are so many sub-genres, can't list them all. If you're into polka infused jazzmetal, select "Other".

Would be interesting to see what you all are into. Post whatever you're currently listening to as well, it'll be fun. I'll start:

Garrett Dale - Two Ts EP https://play.spotify.com/album/2fO7WpOEIYz3F0PeI2rygb?play=true&utm_source=open.spotify.com&utm_medium=open

Metal always... The Faceless- Black Star
424  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with most of your day? on: July 12, 2017, 09:12:57 PM
I was wondering with most Bitcoiners on this forum did with the majority of their time. I'm semi-employed in real life and spend a bunch of my time on the computer everyday posting on this forum to earn from signature campaigns. I spend my free time socializing with my friends and playing Half-Life 2 (reliving old memories).

Work full time during the day, crypto by night all night. Dont have time for anything but work anymore.. can't complain  Cool
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do you get 100 % uptime for your GPUs? on: July 12, 2017, 09:11:52 PM
I have Windows 7 for mining but there are always some problems like freezing, ethminer/zecminer/etc. stopped working and many other problems. Thatīs why I wanted to know how to get 100 % uptime (it is annoying to restart them).

Is it possible to autostart the computer and autostart the mining bat EVEN when the miner is freezing or crashing? What is your trick? Thanks a lot.

go to the start menu and type shell:startup. Create a shortcut to the .bat file, and stick it in this folder. This will make the bat run automatically on startup.

You can also add an infinite loop to your .bat file

Example:

:Start
miner.exe -u ogiherogiheroiwhroh etc. blah blah blah
goto Start

This will make the miner keep opening upon crashing. Hope this helps..

PS, if you want it to run invisibly on startup, create a VBS file that launches the bat, and stick a shortcut of that file in shell:startup  Grin
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [WAVES] in 5 years on: July 12, 2017, 09:07:25 PM
I want to speculate the price of Waves in 5 years from now. Grin

$200-300 range. WAVES platform is so easy/user friendly.. If ERC20 tokens launched ETH upward... WAVES should be soon to follow.
427  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you vape? on: July 12, 2017, 08:59:07 PM
I wonder if here are any other vapers? I just stopped to smoke a month ago, because a friend got me into vaping.

Absolutely. Have tried them all.. used box mods/mech mods for a while.. used to build my own coils. Nowdays I stick to the mini usb rechargeable ones. Less maintenance, less pieces to lose.. less chance of buying another pack of smokes.  Grin
428  Other / Off-topic / Re: Places you want to travel to before you die on: July 12, 2017, 03:04:30 AM
Where do you feel that is somewhere you need to visit before the end of your life?

Have you already checked off this place(or places)?

What is one place you think everyone should see?

Personally, I've never been to New York City or Rome. If I had to choose one or the other I would probably choose Rome over NYC just because I have an interest in the history of the Roman Empire. But in terms of modern cities I'd much rather see NYC. So it's a difficult decision really. Hopefully I can see both at some point soon.

Places I have been:
Amsterdam

Places I want to go:
Tokyo
Rio De Janeiro
Macao
Bangkok
Sydney

We decided to add another Bounty prize for those that have new and original ideas we can use to better the project as well as increase the community.

The bounty will be set at 50 Tomahawkcoin, as i stated we would have to be able to use that idea.

Maybe we could add a bounty for promoting TOM with an avatar or signature on BCT?  Smiley
430  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you deal with depression? on: July 11, 2017, 09:57:52 PM

I am not posting this story for any donation

but these are reasons of my depression , i joined since community forum since few months ago and i feel this best to share there.

Throughout all of my years, the best treatment I have found has been Cannabis. To each their own obviously.. but I have been on anti-depressants, tried therapy, etc.

To me, being with my family, and using cannabis to decompress.. not FORGET (there is a huge difference) has been the best benefit to my mental health.

LOL. Seems like a lot of these questions could have been figured out prior to the genesis of your coin.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people start up new cryptocurrencies? on: July 11, 2017, 09:28:42 PM
I believe that people start up cyrptocurrencies because they either want to make some money or maybe experiment with the internet. It's basically like when a scientist test run a new gadget. It still is amazing how these cryptocurrencies live though. What do you think?

I think that several coins have been created as experiments or side projects, and have saturated the market beyond belief. There are however, several different companies/projects that are creating coins to help them achieve their mission, whatever that may be.

ICO's have further compounded this, because any business in any line of work, with a good proof of concept can now obtain their funding to start without getting absolutely reamed by a Private Equity Firm.

The goal IMO, is to find new coins that have a solid business plan, and something TANGIBLE to back themselves with. Everything else falls into a day trade pump/dump type scenario. Hype train leads the way..
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next $1 Billion Blockchain? on: July 11, 2017, 09:22:54 PM
Out of the coins listed, I would say ZEC. Privacy based coins will have a much larger role in this space as time goes on, and regulations come out. I'm hoping other privacy based coins can step out of ZEC/XMR's shadow... COUGH XSPEC COUGH  Cheesy

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: July 11, 2017, 09:16:41 PM
XSPEC from a privacy/anon standpoint. Has XMR and ZEC beat.. just needs the right crowd to notice and it will rocket.

RAIN from a pure PoS standpoint. 200% annual interest rate  Shocked
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone kindly explain how does running a DASH MasterNode helps you to profit on: July 11, 2017, 09:14:00 PM
you receive a percentage of the transaction fees. Which overtime as the coin rises can become significant.

As RandomEvent said, you are rewarded for contributing to the network via tx fees. These show up in your wallet as a sort of recurring payment over time.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 11, 2017, 09:09:59 PM
Every bone in my body is hoping McGregor jumped through all of these hoops for a chance to ground & pound mayweather.. even if just for a brief moment. Haha

That being said, I'm looking forward to the viewing/after party being hosted by Legends Room. Ready to hang out with some UFC fighters and porn stars!

440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being a whale.. on: July 11, 2017, 08:07:59 PM
Stop the bs, a whale is when somebody has at least 1% of total coins or shares, for example bitcoin maximum coins to exist is 21 million, so a bitcoin whale must have minimum of 210k bitcoins, if you have less than that then you are just a wild fish. It can have only a maximum of 100 whales per coin hence 1% each, however that does not hold true, some whales have 5% share or more or 1 million bitcoins. Very few whales in bitcoin world. The whale term is used for people which hold 1% or more of the total of something. You can quote me on that.

Done  Grin

My thoughts on the matter exactly.
