Apparently no speed increase came out of it for mining and it can be even slower, as per Epsylon3: yes... sm_61 is an emulation of sm_60 P100 fp16 stuff, and when used (look like it is sometimes) its slower than normal ops generated for sm_5x ... So nothing changed for the GTX (and mining cards) about that since CUDA 8
Man, thats a bummer. I read the title for this post and got all excited haha. Hopefully we will see SOME increase... once its released to the public. |

thats the great thing about being an onion, many layers. if the first layer gets damaged by fudders, we peel it off and theres a new layer there. deeponion is an anti troll/fudder coin. there is nothing here that gives them any real reason to hate. only if they are shills from other coins.

So, it's completely out of the question to think that an internal team that created this coin kept a small number for themselves, and dispersed? They never said they weren't keeping a certain amount for themselves. To go from rational thought (above) to conspiracy theory (link you posted) is a set of mental gymnastics I'm not willing to make. What do people honestly expect from them? Transparency and privacy don't run hand in hand. I wouldn't want anyone knowing who I was or what my wallet address was if I was part of a team responsible for bringing a privacy coin to the market. It is not hard for me to understand why they would keep quiet about certain aspects of team size and payment breakdown. And also.. To people saying "be careful". Of what exactly? Losing money on the free coin I was given via airdrop?  When someone can explain to me how I can lose money on a coin I spent no money on, I'll start "being careful" |

Don't you think TOR is a bit slow for transactions?
Most transactions sent are instant. Before I can copy/paste a tx ID to someone it's already showing in their wallet. So no, I don't think that assumption is correct  |

Even if Deepcoin dont hit any exchange for the next 38 weeks, I am sure you will find many speculative buyers/sellers in this forum , trading as normal.
While there is no stock exchange, no one will know the true price, I myself will never buy and sell not one coin from speculators, there is no need to sell, and buying ... a big risk There is always the possibility of the official DeepOnion website developing some sort of escrow service until it does get listed on exchanges. Not sure how many man hours that would take to create though, and there are several other more important things the devs can focus on IMO |

Hello there, The current refund window has now closed, this was supposed to be handled manually but after the first few requests it quickly became clear that we are going to need to put more checks in place before sending funds out. We had people requesting refunds 10+ times, we had people requesting refunds multiple different times, we had people requesting refunds to different addresses, we had people asking for refunds to be cancelled, we had people not understanding what manually sent meant. A long story short, refunds are *STILL* going to be processed manually, any refunds are still permanent, and any addresses that have requested refunds will not be able to participate in the remaining pre-sale if it happens. Emailing saying your refund should take priority will not actually make it a priority, telling us that your family is sick and that you need the refund, or any other story will not change anything. Next order of business is to go through and sift out the non bogus attempts and send them out (again manually). This will be happening probably by the start of August or slightly after. This project was announced a month ago and only then did I know of the existence... Your goal is interesting, but what if the price after ICO falls? Will this minimum amount be maintained? I'll read more about this project later, good luck.

Next to the possibility to check if your application for the airdrop is accepted, is there a possibility to check if your application is according to the rules like one day before airdrop?
Can such a thing be made, or is it unwanted due to maximum shitposting in the 24 hours before airdrop?
If it says accepted, then you should be good for the current round. If you are worried go back and doublecheck that you have made 10, 100 char posts in this week's timeframe for the airdrop. |
