4201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the scammer companies earn through bitcoin ? on: September 14, 2021, 08:30:57 PM
I was told that the money was paid in bitcoin and later it was converted to USD. I thought that they earned bitcoin by watching ads.

You already got the answer, it's about Ponzi schemes, no matter is it paid in Bitcoin or in the USD. the mode of fraud is the same.
Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is used there because is "new" for many noobs who are hearing about rich people because of investment in crypto. for you beginners, it always seems tempting and you all stick to the possibility of making big money.
read this again
This system is proven to be collapsing after a while. Read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

You did not explain, what has the Binance application got to do with it?
Also, are your friend get all of his money invested there? whether he ended up with a profit?
4202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A BTC trading model for sale. Profit $134446 (one BTC) during 2021/1/1~2021/9/12 on: September 14, 2021, 07:45:19 PM
I established the BTC trading model on 2021/8/9 by using Yahoo Finance database of 2021/1/1~2021/8/9 to perform backtest and it earned $116678 per BTC during that period including Long and Short trades. During 2021/8/10~2021/9/12 the model earns $17768 per BTC and it means the model works so far.

did I understand correctly that you did not test this model using real money?
Also, your model is tested only once by your side?

do you realize how uncertain it is to claim "the model works so far" just after one test by your side in a simulation? someone has already suggested it to you, take a loan from the bank and start in real with your method, I don't see an obstacle if you're so sure everything works perfectly.
4203  Economy / Reputation / Re: WTF Maidak? on: September 14, 2021, 10:27:51 AM
I really don't trust anything this members Maidak or legendster say, they both have negative red trust, both of them have or previously had some scam accusations against them, and there was password reset and change in both cases.
Please check Trust summary for both of them before making any conclusions.

Will such an attempt help to bring back money? I don't think.
Can you prove ownership of any address posted in bitcointalk forum before 2021?

I agree with you here. User Maidak very easily gave up claiming his money, $3000 it's not insignificant money either, for him insufficient even to neg. tag legendster account.

Also, we still can't be sure if there original owner behind legendster's account.
it would probably be best for both to be tagged as potentially hacked until they prove actual ownership of those accounts.
4204  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking 200 euro loan on: September 14, 2021, 09:40:52 AM
I can be reached through either Facebook https://www.facebook.com/mathias.vonhedemann
Or TG https://t.me/Mathiasvon

How exactly do you mean that someone will be sure that you will repay the loan?

I find you asking for a loan on the Royse777 thread, do you know what is mean "signed message on Bitcoin address" and how to sign?

Loan amount : 0.012 btc
Amount repaid 0.017
Payment due.  2021/10/14

4205  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this what call hard work? on: September 14, 2021, 09:34:35 AM
Edit: He Write 3 additional post.
@Bitcoin_Arena , @The Pharmacist
Yes, I Just contacted the project manager and have reported it to the forum moderators.

Probably forum moderators will delete his participation posts.
95% of bounty hunters don't even read bounty rules or new announcements about bounty, just apply. if already participate in 20+ different campaigns, obviously he can't follow it all.
It should definitely be tagged as a bounty spammer, to be possibly excluded from further campaigns.
4206  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 20-50 Euro loan untill friday. on: September 13, 2021, 10:54:37 PM
I wrote down 20-50 depending on how much a person would trust me for since there is no collateral, this is common sense mate. I need 50, but at least 20 would do. Just because you have this opinion does not mean that there is not a chance that somebody else would accept sythe.org vouches as its a respectable forum.

Trust you because of what you "are" in some other site / forum / group? Since you refer to it, common sense in a loan is that the lender will have to be secure if you default and "trust" isn't among these things. "My" opinion is actually not mine but of the 95% of the members here, so I guess that matters a lot. Wink

I guess the remaining 5% of users are those seeking loans without collateral or offering trusted accounts on other forums.  Wink

OP, you came here as Jr.member (here you are unknown like a complete novice) to ask for a loan, why you did not ask on sythe.org for a loan where you already had a solid reputation? I guess there would be no problem.
4207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bounty Management Process Request! on: September 13, 2021, 10:40:42 PM
It is a request to all the Bounty Manager/Senior Users, please share the process/guide/link/any helping materials. I assume this information will help a lot of other users.

Why should they share here such information? And to help others? Why? I know everyone starts from scratch but bounty managing isn't a thing that's necessary to learn here. Let alone that service automatically be learned by users if they want to start doing it. No offense.

Information about it should be kept secret by the bounty managers. It's a personal information. No need to tell to public their inputs and how much they are paid by the companies they handle. But if you are really curious, it's the same as accepting other projects/works/service and try to find the reasonable price you can ask to the project owners.

exactly. Just imagine, reputed bounty manager creating a guide "how to manage bounty campaign".
I guess, 90% of manager skills coming from experience. even that they can share personal experiences in detail, I see no reason why they would do that.
4208  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: September 13, 2021, 10:32:45 PM
Everton vs Burnley tonight, not the most entertaining game in the PL but something to consider regarding a bet. What do you think guys? I have a feeling Dyche’s men will set up to be hard to best as usual, a compact unit with everybody behind the ball. A 0-0 might not be a bad punt here?

Well this prediction sucked.

*LFC walks away quickly*

I guess you as a Liverpool fan don't like Everton, and it's very hard to make a prediction "Everton wins"  Cheesy
4209  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone had access to my account last month - Please beware! on: September 13, 2021, 10:13:14 PM
I need to change the staked address as that one is compromised during the April hack that I mentioned above.

you should definitely confirm ownership of the account by signing a message on one of your oldest addresses used here on the forum. I guess not all of them is compromised and only you have access to them.

Your oldest (used 11 April 2013) 1C5voy2et9odzmocDxirb4S6GrTJ6MeqsW here
Or 3JHJKATezUpeGs9JeobzY7U2Fo6iybZ6yL which you used (in 2018) to apply in signature campaigns. here, here, here

I already have a strong password. Always did.

the reason is that it must be determined that you are the original owner of the account. But obviously is not enough strong.
4210  Other / Meta / Re: Editing plagiarism, after detection on: September 13, 2021, 09:58:16 PM
Question: if we copy anything from the Internet, and then just write that everything is taken from Google, is that correct?

This reference is incorrect because it leads nowhere, but the posts are not plagiarized. I believe the forum needs to understand the difference between citation and reference; they are often used interchangeably, but they are not the same thing; in academic publications, both are required, but I do not believe they are required on the forum; if you want to cite a few contents from the internet, you should simply put them in a quote; a link is not required; a reference source is only required when you copy/paste a full article

this is plagiarism for sure, let's look at the wide picture.
He finds some text on Google  Huh and post it here. without any discussion on his part and a possible explanation as to why he quoted it.
So, what is next? He will create 20 new topics per week, copy/paste something over the internet, put "Source: Goggle" and voila, he fulfils signature requirements. he did not even participate in the further discussion on the topic, he may not even understand what he wrote. certainly this was written just for the signature campaign or hunting for merit. (Opening useful topic in Beginners and Help section, easy can bring some merits)
do we really need such posters here?
4211  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal for Pokapoka124 on: September 13, 2021, 09:37:22 PM
I want to know your opinion if editing a post at the time of plagiarism accusation is a sign of playing smart or that of being remorseful.

it means a plagiarist doesn't think it's a mistake he did it. He edits posts just to prevent a potential ban and save his account, not because he did something dishonourable by appropriating someone’s work. therefore, it is completely selfish, because it is a forced reaction in order to preserve personal gain.
4212  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 2,5 BTC ($100K) SCAM Changenow exchange on: September 13, 2021, 10:44:00 AM
this is no longer an acidentaly when we talking about Changenow exchanger. they often appear here accused of attempting to defraud or withholding someone’s money.

You probably need to push them hard, I suggest you check this ChangeNow.io - Scam. Fraudsters have stolen 100 BCH (11 bitcoins)
Also ChangeNOW is their official active account here on the forum, and if you check his feedback page, you will see many scam accusations.
also, you can create a flag against them.
4213  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange Exit scam - TillKoeln ( Fraudster) on: September 13, 2021, 10:14:04 AM
Eternal silence continues....

Fraudster TillKoeln scamming users and using the exchange to steal user funds. No good will come out of it.

Unnamed Exchange scam, do you really have to post this each damn day?  Huh

2 weeks ago everyday?

There is nothing wrong with bumping this thread for better visibility. Maybe it will help someone save their money.
Unnamed Exchange is a scam and everyone should need to be warned and to stay away from these scammers.
4214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 13, 2021, 09:56:32 AM
Need to stick to my guns more too. Switched Liverpool scores to 0-4 before the game. Strange more people went for that score than 0-3!

I personally have little doubt about the quality of Liverpool's scoring form. Something is wrong there (just my opinion). Mane doesn't want to assist anyone, TAA also had some irrational attempts. Because of that, I expect only 2:0 for Liverpool.
From the Leeds side, they always attack, especially if they are in minus. which opens up a serious attack to fill their net which would happen that Mane was not selfish in few chances.
4215  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create a site like coingecko on: September 13, 2021, 09:43:05 AM
If you don't have so much knowledge about web development why not follow the examplens suggestion above?

I would suggest you use a drag and drop tool to design your website that would be easy to make a home page the same as Coingecko.

Or you can use a plugin called Cryptocurrency all-in-one that you can find here https://wordpress.org/plugins/cryptocurrency-prices/
That's the easiest way without studying web development. There are lots of plugins out there that you can use to build a website the same as Coingecko using WordPress CMS.

WordPress, many developers don’t like it because it is considered too simple and anyone can work with it, even without knowledge of coding. But still provides many solutions, there are almost no WEB things you can’t solve with WP.

btw. OP user @sykt62 is banned. We probably won’t get feedback from him which is the best advice he got here.

4216  Economy / Lending / Re: Need Loan With Collateral on: September 13, 2021, 09:32:28 AM
Was OP trying to scam with his collateral of "Very Rare 1971 2p New Pence Coin" and "Rare 1982 Twenty Pence" which does not have the value as advertised or was he really in need of a medical emergency  Huh
Its hard to distinguish these days , who is really needy and who wana scam  Angry
It's very easy to distinguish: you don't go to a specialized Bitcoin forum to sell (or send as collateral) something completely unrelated because of an equally unrelated bill. Unless you're trying to scam.

OP, very easily agreed to halve the value of his coins, also he is very responsive to send with express mail. yet he left the discussion when the real value of his coins began to be analyzed.
this is part of the usual way of trying to scam where someone is trying to sell something with the pronunciation of a loan.
4217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 09, 2021, 10:35:36 AM
Brazil are being petty AF, embarrassing behaviour by them to be honest. Puts us (LFC) in a crappy situation ahead of a tough away game against Leeds. Oh well, they’ll be missing Raphinha who is a good player. I think the sanction is a 3-0 loss if a team plays an ineligible player. Not sure how they’d punish both teams in that situation.

It’ll be interesting to see how this develops. I imagine all the PL clubs will cooperate to try & fight this. Brazil is on the red list for UK travellers so I think there could be a legal case to fight this.

absolutely pointless. Clubs pay huge salaries to the players, it would certainly have to be respected. There may also be a legal basis to seek compensation from FIFA for all non-playing time.
Clubs will not be happy with that, but FIFA only understands the language of money.
4218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 09, 2021, 10:17:25 AM
PSG is a great team now that should win the Champions League. With Messi, Ramos, Mbappe, Hakimi, Donnarumma, Di Maria, Widjalum, if they cannot win the Champions League this time then there will be a question mark afterward.

I agree 100%. After the failed transfer of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid (probably next season!), PSG is also the crystal clear favorite to win the Champions League this season for me.
Look at their strikers, the absolute madness
There will be only 11 players on the pitch maybe with 2-3 forward or attackers, the attackers will not only play the midfield or the defense, a team full of world best players do not guarantee trophy you need more than world best players to compete, you need team work and not individual play, PSG lacks team play judging from their past matches I've watched and this has been their problem the past 3 years. Messi will not perform magic if the team is not well organized.

I must agree here. Mbappe, Neymar and Messi sound frightening, but they do not help much in defence, and sometimes it takes the whole team to defend. Ramos is injured one year, the big question is when and how he will return.
At this moment, I think they can't beat Chelsea or Manchester City.
4219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on honest earning on: September 08, 2021, 10:30:35 AM
The design contest linked above has already ended and the winners selected (examplens must have missed that).

Yes you are right. I messed it because both of them managed by Hhampuz for Roobet.
You posted proper link.  Wink
4220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: LiveTree ADEPT [SED] Crowdsale complete! on: September 08, 2021, 09:33:55 AM
Ashley, if you're looking at this board, listen.
You are trying to make a small money from investors.
But that's not the right way to go.
Make SED your own currency (rather than Ethereum tokens), a swappable currency, and a technically versatile currency, rather than earning pocket money by installing apps or referral codes That is important (the one that is not the "fake bullshit you are doing" now).
Please think again.
Live right. Don't trick people into making money.

Probably Ashley will not read this, even if they read this, he will not give you an answer, he doesn't care.
As you already say, they run away with money and they certainly don't want to explain anything here. with each new post here, you prolong the agony and eventually give hope to someone else that it may not be a scam.

if you have more information and evidence, you better put them all on the scam accusation board, so anyone can be informed about scammers.
