4201  Economy / Services / Re: Buying your Website Profile link and title (Senior, Hero or Legend) on: December 09, 2017, 02:02:10 PM
I'm possibly interested depending on what you want to advertise. Also, what do you mean by title? Personal text?

payment are quite low

Senior 10$/month
Hero 25$/month
Legend 50$/month

and will payment done in advance or after a month .. if after moth then i thing you need to escrow the fund ..and if you increase the price then it will be interesting

It's not low at all if it's just the web url he wants to rent.
4202  Other / Meta / Re: What's wrong with my post quality? on: December 09, 2017, 01:56:54 PM
Since then I was applying to different campaigns (about 4 of them) and I was denied everywhere. I don't understand how my posts are worse, than the posts of those who were accepted. Am I missing something?
I would appreciate if you could take a look and tell me why am I regularly denied. Thanks!

This is something you should probably be asking the campaigns themselves. Ask them politely for feedback on why you were turned down and maybe they will tell you how to improve your chances. You could have been denied for a whole multitude of reasons though. It's hard to even get accepted on a lot of decent campaigns these days and slots fill up very fast. Other users may have much better posts than you or just got in before you. I'm glad more managers are starting to only accept high quality posters though. If every campaign did this then the forum wouldn't be such the shitshow that it is currently.
4203  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: December 09, 2017, 01:48:48 PM
where to find my unix time ? because i didnt see my name or profile number

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time

I wouldn't concern or confuse yourself with that too much. All you need to know is to make a post in or after the new period and you'll get your precious activity.

i already got my full member! thanks!

how to put picture in my profile? at personal text area ? and what size ?

All these things can be changed in your profile settings, but by the looks of it you seem to have figured this out already.
4204  Other / Meta / Re: Deleting applying posts? on: December 09, 2017, 01:45:06 PM
I know I am not a campaign manager but what do you think about deleting the rejected signature campaign’s applying? Those applying are there just as trash posts consuming recourses. Also it could be a good thing because when a possible advertiser find his/her post deleted he will know he was not accepted to the current signature campaign.
Some opinions.

I don't think we should force this on people or make it a rule but if campaign managers wanted to do this they would have to self moderate their own threads and do it themselves. Whilst the posts serve no purpose I don't think it's imperative that they're deleted either.
4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 09, 2017, 11:13:38 AM
My picks for the games this week:

West Ham United v Chelsea 1-1
Burnley v Watford 1-0
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth 0-0
Huddersfield Town v Brighton and Hove Albion 1-1
Liverpool v Everton 2-0
Newcastle United v Leicester City 1-1
Southampton v Arsenal 1-2
Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion 0-0
Tottenham Hotspur v Stoke City 2-0
Manchester United v Manchester City 1-1

I may change some before kick off though.

If any of you guys want to get in on the Premier League Pool I started at the beginning of the season we're starting a new one that will kick off on the 1st of Jan here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2484329.msg25433726#msg25433726

It's £20 to join in and is good fun.
4206  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images on: December 09, 2017, 11:05:13 AM
Read the op of the thread. It's not meant to be something huge but just a way to essentially whitelist yourself and remove a few restrictions that are vital to some users:

I am aware that for most people the benefits of this membership are pretty lame. This membership is only intended to fill a specific niche; if you don't need it, don't buy it. It is not intended to be the lower-cost Donator/VIP alternative which I've talked about before as a possibility.

Hopefully some Silver & Gold ranks with better perks will be added in the near future.

The essential thing is to have good / specific features for the new S/G ranks, buying a rank without features or with a limited one isn't interesting imo.
Features could be : premium fast reply to pm?, flexibility to change name (studying the request then accept or deny it), new hidden section...etc (just ideas)

I've suggested the ability to change name but I think this should only be available to a premium rank to stop abuse (maybe Platinum level haha). The ability to have a bigger signature would be the biggest draw I think. something like a Full Member sized one for Silver and a Hero sized one for Gold etc.

By popular demand, newbies can now pay to have some of their restrictions lifted. If you pay the fee, you become a Copper Member, and you can post images.
I did not understand what for to create a special name, a member rank, for those people who are ready to pay for posting pictures? I am not surprised this cooper member rank made many of us confused.

It's just a small perk/reward for donating. I'm sure other ranks will be farm more exciting if they ever come (which I hope they do).
4207  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League Betting Pool | Current pot: 0.2btc on: December 09, 2017, 11:02:15 AM
Nobody posting their predictions this week?

Games:

West Ham United v Chelsea
Burnley v Watford
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth
Huddersfield Town v Brighton and Hove Albion
Liverpool v Everton
Newcastle United v Leicester City
Southampton v Arsenal
Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion
Tottenham Hotspur v Stoke City
Manchester United v Manchester City

--------------

I'll give mine for once:

West Ham United v Chelsea 1-1
Burnley v Watford 1-0
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth 0-0
Huddersfield Town v Brighton and Hove Albion 1-1
Liverpool v Everton 2-0
Newcastle United v Leicester City 1-1
Southampton v Arsenal 1-2
Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion 0-0
Tottenham Hotspur v Stoke City 2-0
Manchester United v Manchester City 1-1

I may change a couple before kick-offs though. Still really undecided about the West Ham Chelsea game. Chelsea should easily win but I might take the risk on the draw.
4208  Other / Meta / Re: How about having a BitcoinTalk Coin Project? on: December 09, 2017, 11:01:17 AM
This is something I've actually thought about the possibility of and I think it could be a good idea. We could maybe reward certain users who make great contributions with payment in it or even give it out as rewards for reporting posts etc. It could also be used for micro-tipping amongst users. I think someone has already used the name bitcointalkcoin before though haha.

Theymos mentioned maybe doing some sort of ICO to build a seastead and maybe it could be involved with the funding of that: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2418909.msg24753848#msg24753848

Or possibly some other such worthwhile project like I suggested here:

Have you thought about maybe creating your own ddos protection service as from your concerns it seems like there'd be a gap in the market for a trusted product? I have no idea how much it would cost to create or run something like this but I'm sure it would be a worthy project people could get behind and would make for a decent ICO. Could even use the money we get from any potential new donator ranks we implement to invest in it. Something to consider at least.

Any more takers?
4210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: December 09, 2017, 10:44:06 AM
I would like to inquire if it is ethical posting something you had written about bitcoin in another forum or website, for instance, an article. Is that considered ethical or unethical on the forum?

It's not unethical if you actually wrote it. However, I'd probably mention that you have posted it elsewhere or properly quote and 'source' yourself to avoid any issues as if it looks just like a copy and paste you may get banned so best to err on the side of caution.
4211  Other / Meta / Re: Need for Auxiliary Moderators. on: December 09, 2017, 10:00:58 AM
Workload needs to be delegated between current staff for sure as there's too much weight resting on the shoulders of a few and this is something I've been urging theymos to do for quite some time. There are several boards with no dedicated mod assigned at all and huge boards like Bitcoin Discussion and Marketplace should have their own non-Global mods assigned. I wouldn't be against promoting a new mod to staff either as I think some people who are on the 'top reporters' list have probably earned their dues.
4212  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how to start a signature campaign? on: December 09, 2017, 09:04:04 AM
how do you start a singature campaign. and is it allowed in bit coin talk?

You want to run your own campaugn or join one as a participant? If you want to join a campaign then have a look at the ones listed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

As for starting your own there aren't really any rules sadly and anyone can pay spammers to post whatever rubbish they can be bothered to make, though there are some signature campaign guidelines here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1684035.0
4213  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin talk account ban recovery on: December 09, 2017, 08:46:21 AM
The account has been nuked by someone. Once an account is banned in such a way there is no way to buy yourself out of the ban as it is permanent. Your "friend" must have been consistently shitposting or breaking some other rule to be nuked though.
4214  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: KraKen [SCAMMER] on: December 09, 2017, 06:47:09 AM
In my limited experience with them: they are not scammers. However their site is always down, the customer service is slow and awkward. I dont recommend them at all and dont ever see myself using my account there. Not impressed - yes. Scam: I dont think so

People just panic and are too quick to call services a scam as soon as they don't work as efficiently as they like. My coins got credited after about ten confirmations and I managed to sell my coins after a few attempts and initiate a bank withdrawal so I guess people just need a little patience and to keep trying.
4215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 08, 2017, 05:31:23 PM
I predict there will be a shit ton of draws this weekend with only a couple of goals in most of the games. I actually think the opening game between West Ham and Chelsea could even be a draw as well or at the least very close. Not sure whether to go for a 1-1 or 1-2 on my predictor.
4216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: December 08, 2017, 05:25:47 PM
i have made  payment for BIT bitcoin accelerator but my order is still unconfirmed

I'm not sure this is the right thread. You made a payment to the address in the op or somewhere else? If you used a bitcoin accelerator for anything other than making a payment to this pool then you're in the wrong thread.

4218  Other / Meta / Re: Moving to Cloudflare on: December 08, 2017, 03:16:24 PM
Why not charge Tor and VPN users a small bitcoin fee to log in? Most of those users would probably rather pay a  fee than use cloudflare. They already have to pay a fee to register.

Paying a small fee to register and paying a fee every time you want to log in are two very different things (not to mention the latter being ridiculous and not sure why we should punish all legitimate tor users).
4219  Other / Meta / Re: Help me reopen my banned account on: December 08, 2017, 03:11:59 PM
Hello, when my account will block, you will need to send the BTS on the purse Forum and I again I'll use my account?

Depends what the 'lock' is. If it's locked due to proxy banning then you'll need to pay the fee but if you have an account banned for spamming or breaking the rules then there's no way to buy your way out of that. If the account was locked because of inactivity or a potential hacking you will need to follow the sticky in Meta to recover it. What account are you talking about so we can help you further?
4220  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: KraKen [SCAMMER] on: December 08, 2017, 03:09:11 PM
For me Kraken is the quickest when it comes to SEPA deposit, (funds available after 1 day).
However holy god, their trading platform is sluggish, unresponsive and slow. Sometimes I wonder if they are under DDOS's all the fucking time.

I doubt it's a ddos but likely rather down to all the heavy traffic from new and old users trying to buy and sell desperately. On a related note, my deposit was credited earlier and I managed to make a trade and initiate a withdrawal so I guess people just need some patience and keep trying (though obviously the more you try the bigger strain you put on their site as well so it's often likely counterproductive).
