4201  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-04-16] Lawsuits against Ebang and Canaan on: April 19, 2021, 01:41:05 AM
@Slow death. I shake my head. I would not be shocked if the relative was has received the $21 million was really Dong Hu himself hehehe. It would also not be shocking if there was really no loan to be paid hehe.
4202  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-04-18] The tweet erased the $288 billion cap of the crypto market on: April 19, 2021, 12:36:09 AM
@Theb. Agreed. We are in a bubble that is pumped by overleveraged traders. It was only a small dump that began to create a bigger dump to send bitcoin down by more than 8% and liquidated $9 billion in long positions.
4203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic V on: April 18, 2021, 04:35:52 AM
What woke up the bear and bursted bitcoin’s bubble on 2017? Was it also similar to this rumor? I speculate the exchanges that use Tether might be part of the lawsuit if the rumor is true. Binance.us and Kraken.

While the exact reason for the sudden crash is unknown, the market mood may have soured due to rumors that the U.S. Treasury is planning to charge several financial institutions for money laundering using cryptocurrencies. CoinDesk has been unable to independently verify any pending government action.

4204  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 18, 2021, 02:42:28 AM
@Kemarit. That is certainly good news but I bring you the bad news hehehe. I saw this, however, I do not know where the source of this is. Does anyone know the website to get this information?

Coinbase CFO dumped 100% his COIN. Coinbase CPO dumped 97% hehe.

4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: April 17, 2021, 06:08:40 AM
What are the possible countries for the venue of the fight?

I think @OP, better to make a poll about this and let us guesss.  Grin how about that? Me, I think it will be in Dubai.. would be great venue IMO.
The Saudi king family is offering $100 million for this fight other than that i have not heard any other offers from Dubai but the promoters are looking to put the fight together in the UK itself as it is the biggest fight in the history of boxing especially two English boxers and they can fill an entire football stadium.

Will the UK government begin allowing stadiums full of fans in the middle of a pandemic? It will be in Dubai. Their government has begun to allow fans to watch UFC events. Also, Eddie Hearn has met with Dana White. I speculate Hearn might be asking for information on how to organize it in Dubai.

4206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IRS Commissioner Concerned NFTs May Be Used for Tax Evasion on: April 17, 2021, 05:35:55 AM
@DapanasFruit. Technology is developing faster than the government can develop their own technologies to win this cat and mouse game. Also, I am very skeptical if the government thinks that it is a game that they can win. The government might only be trying to look good to continue on with their scam.
4207  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-04-16] Lawsuits against Ebang and Canaan on: April 17, 2021, 04:45:05 AM
It has begun. This is also what Trump had planned to do versus Chinese companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq if he won. I predict more Chinese companies to be pressured and investigated. It appears I was wrong. Biden is not China’s servant hehehe.
4208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex-CIA Director Proved Bitcoin Use in Illicit or Crime to be disprove on: April 17, 2021, 03:02:55 AM
Agreed on the less than 1% if you consider bitcoin transactions from wallets to exchange and then back to wallets. Much of bitcoin’s transactions are motivated by speculation, however, the percentage for underground transactions should be more if you remove those transactions to the exchanges and from them.
There's also the undocumented crimes that slip past the eyes of the law enforcement agencies, they aren't accounted so I disagree with the fact that there is less than 1% and I think that this ex-CIA director is just reporting false numbers because they seem to have a benefit in this thing.

We do not know the real percentage, however, is it really bad if this percentage was more than 10%? Anyone who understood the technology behind bitcoin and some of the other cryptocoins would accept that they are very good mediums for criminality. I am only annoyed by some people who deny this because it might be a threat to the pump.
4209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: April 16, 2021, 05:18:29 AM
@bigslimvdub. I am quite certain those new wallets where they sent the stolen coins are not exchanges. The hackers will never send them to exchanges because it would risk their true identities to be exposed. However, what they might have been doing is create short sell orders on bitcoin then move the coins to create fear on the market.
4210  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 16, 2021, 04:55:09 AM
@3meek. COIN is down again on day 2 on the Nasdaq. Similar to much of the coins in the cryptospace, COIN might be lacking value investors who would hold it longterm. It would not be shocking if this was pumped and dumped in the next few weeks by speculators behaving similarly as the whales of the cryptospace.
4211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / IRS Commissioner Concerned NFTs May Be Used for Tax Evasion on: April 16, 2021, 03:56:37 AM
He should not only be concerned, I reckon he should be ready because it will certainly be used for tax evasion hehehe. This will be similar to how the billionaires use art collection for tax evason. The whole art trading industry’s foundation is supported by moneylaundering and tax evasion.

Speaking at the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday, IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig raised concerns about the role of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in tax evasion.

Rettig told the Senate Finance Committee that the US fails to collect as much as $1 trillion in taxes owed each year, partly due to the explosion in cryptocurrencies, which the agency finds difficult to trace and tax.

4212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex-CIA Director Proved Bitcoin Use in Illicit or Crime to be disprove on: April 16, 2021, 03:10:50 AM
This actually does not need much spelling out to people. Only the Bitcoin haters are giving dignity to this accusation.

When Bitcoin started it was probably something only appreciated by the nerdy and the geeky; it doesn't have a price yet, after all. And while its use soon grew underground, how much percentage of underground transactions was done through Bitcoin? I bet it was less than 1%. So this accusation is garbage right from the start.

If they wanted to curb illegal transactions objectively, without prejudice against this rising independent currency, they should have stuck their noses into fiat.

Agreed on the less than 1% if you consider bitcoin transactions from wallets to exchange and then back to wallets. Much of bitcoin’s transactions are motivated by speculation, however, the percentage for underground transactions should be more if you remove those transactions to the exchanges and from them.
4213  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: April 15, 2021, 03:22:24 AM
Nops am still waiting for the account to be verified. I think you still not getting it. Problem isn't verification or withdrawal but 32 days for an investigation for the account/s that were not used for more than 20 days. What kind of investigation is that? Isn't it already too much? Being suspicious is one thing and ignoring someone and not giving your customer an answer and keeping his money is another.

Agreed. I already said that it is very long, however, my question was have Cloudbet asked you to upload your KYC documents or not?

@bbc.reporter I was talking about stake.com
They never asked anyone a verification. Neither either denied someone a withdrawal.
Btw : last month a player with username bitcoinerz won 5million dollars in stake.com.

I would love to see any evidence that 2 unverified accounts in stake.com will cause you trouble . Like some post of some user denied withdrawal  or being asked to send documents.

Are you telling everyone that Stake will allow users with unverified accounts to create new accounts and withdraw more than $10,000 from them anytime without questions asked? Did you read their terms of service?

4214  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 15, 2021, 02:31:53 AM
This might be a government or a banker backed hit report to criticize bitcoin as the American stock market was closing. This article has wrong assumptions like proof of work was intentionally designed to be inefficient. It is arguable if intentional from a cost of electricity per transaction basis because it is necessary for security.

However, my favorite assumption is this below hehehehehe.

The world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Ethererum, has said it is moving toward proof of stake (that switch is likely to take up to another year), and Bitcoin is expected to eventually follow.

4215  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-03-03 Coindesk - Warren Says Yellen Left No Room for Ambiguity on: April 15, 2021, 01:40:51 AM
@Sithara007. However, because of the volatility which is caused by its leading usage as a speculative investment, bitcoin would be less effective as a medium for payments because this would encourage only hoarding and holding as another leading usage.
4216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex-CIA Director Proved Bitcoin Use in Illicit or Crime to be disprove on: April 15, 2021, 12:46:35 AM
@buwaytress. Also, the former CIA director is working with the new council Coinbase has formed with Fidelity and Square. What other works might the former CIA director be doing to protect the agenda of the members of this council? I might be watching too much conspiracy movies again hehehe.
4217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: April 14, 2021, 03:37:08 AM
Okay so firstly the first account which was the only account I had till 14th February had a withdrawal of about 30000 usdt and I was still never asked a kyc for that one also. However, my problem is not the account or anything but it is that the investigation shouldnt take this long. I have only made a new account on 21st February and the account/s were locked on the 12th March so how does account which was made only for a few days has an investigation for more than a month?

You had a withdrawal of all the $30,000 in USDT in 1 transaction? I reckon Cloudbet would mark that withdrawal already and you creating the new account and making another big withdrawal would be a warning sign for them.

Also, I support your concern that Cloudbet should be faster. Have you verified your identity already?

@alphabet22. Try to do that with 2 different unverified accounts from the same ip address.
4218  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 14, 2021, 03:15:34 AM
@estenity. Agreed hehe. They might pump this and create the positive news they want before they dump the stock. However, similar to an ICO, who wants to be left holding the stock before it dumps?

Everyone can watch the IPO on tradingview.com.

4219  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 14, 2021, 02:27:57 AM
It appears that Coinbase IPO news has a good influence on the price of bitcoin and the hype might continue if the stock pumps hehe. However, is COIN a buy on IPO or is this similar to an ICO where certain groups that hold the stock before listing dump on everyone? The groups that hold Coinbase stock are venture capitalists and other investors.
4220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex-CIA Director Proved Bitcoin Use in Illicit or Crime to be disprove on: April 14, 2021, 01:31:35 AM
The storyline Forbes created for this report is on Janet Yellen and her campaign against bitcoin and the cryptospace. The report might have exposed what I have said before that she does not care about the truth or the lies on bitcoin. She only wants support and a big budget for her campaign hehehehe.

In any case, the skeptical me is asking what the crypto council for innovation is doing with a former CIA director and what might be the other things he is doing for the council.

Bitcoin just received a strong vote of confidence from an unlikely source, a former acting director of the Central Intelligence Agency. In so doing, he put senior government officials who issue public warnings about bitcoin’s alleged use by criminals, such as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, on notice.
