I still believe that the best option would have been as follows. -
Brand new - no posting requirement and no merit. No signature Newbie - one post and <10 merit - no signature Junior - <30 posts and <10 merit - simple text sig with no URL or site reference Member - >29 posts and >9 merit - basic signature.
This would encourage the better new members to become juniors by participating in the forum activities.

He retains control of his transactions, and this could enable him to save a bit on fees. Also, I believe that running a full node is more secure, and can avoid pseudo-banking losses. I know this isn't really earning, but "a pound saved is a pound earned". ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Argentina is in a bit of a financial mess at the moment. When countries get themselves into these difficulties, they often become attractive victims for major powers. China would appear to be setting its sights on Argentina in retaliation for US and UK actions. The re-arming of the Argentinian military could be an attractive option for the Argentinian government, and it could allow them to restart the Falklands war. Of course this would lead them into debt slavery to the Chinese.
It would also create another black swan event which the Deep State needs so desperately.

Signatures should be removed from Juniors completely because one merit is nothing and doesn't and shouldn't qualify you to earn via posting here.
I've been saying this for quite some time. Or maybe Juniors could be allowed to make a personal staement without a link of site reference.

What if we keep the current system, and we help non-English speakers to improve their language skills. This will also help them to build their knowledge.

In fact, I am sure you will be hearing a lot more from our community soon.
More threats !! I hope we don't hear from your upranked spammers. I won't be hearing from you, as I have put you on ignore in case i accidentally give you a merit, and thus support your actions.

Is this retaliation, and a preparation for your leaving for your new forum?

Thanks for your comment, I will listen and learn more about it
You can listen to a few other posts as well - such as not clogging up threads with full quotes of the opening post. It's no wonder you don't get any merit, people will just skip over your posts if you continue the practice.

This idea has been around since prehistoric times - it's called barter.

Newbies and juniors suffer because they keep starting duplicate threads like this one.

Theymos has stated that he had no objection to people earning money, as long as they don't abuse the forum. I post links to my sites, and they contain promotions for sponsors that I use. The small amount of revenue helps to pay for hosting and domains.
Don't promote malicious, anti-social or scamming sites.

That would be a great idea if members used the news feed. I suspect that most don't.

I've just set up the hosting for my image hosting service for members here. I hope that by using URL references we can cut down on the number of embedded images in threads and quotes. The ( fairly unpopulated ) image index page is located here - https://mobileimg.com/mypictures/There are several options for linking. You can link to a page with a number of functions, including a slideshow, and an example is here - https://mobileimg.com/mypictures/picture.php?/2/category/11Or you can link directly to the image - https://mobileimg.com/mypictures/_data/i/upload/2018/09/18/20180918045206-65d95fcb-me.jpgI can also create more descriptive URLs for the images, but that introduces some restrictions. Any comments would be appreciated. The site's primary aim is to help foreign language students in Fit to Talk, and to provoke political and economic discussions. The site is stilll in its formative stage, so there will be some customisation in the near future.

I'm glad that juniors and newbies are getting tired. In fact I'm getting tired of seeing all these threads appearing, and I've cut down the time I spend here for a while. Everybody seems to want to jump on a variety of bandwagons at the moment, and most of the bandwagons are now parked for the winter. Even if you do manage to find an active bandwagon on which you can jump, if you start banging on somebody else's drum, you are probably going to get a drumstick poked in your ear, Whatever happened to posting about Bitcoin and crypto - do people still discuss those topics here? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

To OP
I see you got 1 merit, and yet you capitalise thread titles, and that is really annoying and will probably lose you the chance to gain merits.

When am I able to post images ?
I've set up an image hosting site - https://mobileimg.com/mypictures/ , but it's only for Bitcoin Talk members who have joined the Fit to Talk English posting improvement project. The idea is that you take pictures of Bitcoin use in your local country, or other local customs or topics of interest. I'm providing it to help improve the quality and content of threads in this forum, please don't abuse it.

Today's free book is - Python for Web Scraping.
I can't wait to get started on some of these projects.

I've just given you a couple of merits, and that will do for my awards until all the new merit threads have died down or been consolidated. I'll spend some of today taking photos to start my new image hosting site to help newbies and juniors to make decent posts, and let them use links instead of images in their posts.

My concern is how to stop people starting a million threads like this, and making the boards unusable. It looks as if it is time to get the ignorer hammer out again, and publish a list of such spammers.
