4201  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Book recommendations about cryptography? on: July 04, 2018, 04:17:46 PM
Seems it's not a new thread but if anyone wants, personally I can't recommend any book because I always learn some things about bitcoin online (not a dev guy so given information here is already enough for me).
Don't want to promote but for such books darknet is really great, but you need deep search to find good book, usually they are sold in cheap prices.
4202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will esports gambling be explosive in the future like sports gambling? on: July 03, 2018, 08:12:38 PM
The explosion of World Cup gambling industry has  shocked me.

Along with the development of esprots game, will the esports (electronic sports like LOL, Dota, Counter Strike, HearthStone, Call of duty and so on) gambling be huge in the future?

Guys, what's your vision about the esports gambling business? I'm planning to devote myself into this field. Any advice or suggestion?
C'mon man, let's develop a little bit. That old PC games are trash for some, see games like titanfall, ghost recon and etc...
Despite the fact that we have games with high end graphics, very detailed textures and etc, still it will never/ever be able to become popular.
Now let's look why current real life games are popular and take football for example: It's game almost everyone likes, it's very exciting when you are on stadium and look how FC Barcelona and Real Madrid plays against each other... Great skills of Messi... It's amazing...
4203  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will we ever have a bitcoin debit card that works worldwide again? on: July 02, 2018, 09:40:52 PM
I don't think those old golden days gonna come soon, banks and government have joined their forces to regulate bitcoin making it almost like fiat. You can't just exchange bitcoin or buy/sell it for fiat without getting noticed by government or tax officers. So point of privacy while dealing with bitcoin at some point might just become a psedotruth.

What you guys think about this?
First days of bitcoin were really gold days in any way... But can't agree you that you can't exchange bitcoin without noticing from goverment. Imagine how much darknet users there are, all of them need to launder money, so this means bitcoin is still very usable for that.
And what's about debit cards, I really miss my XAPO... It was great wallet... There are local ones which workbthe way you wonder but I think it won't be usable for you. In need I can provide link...
4204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: June 30, 2018, 08:36:46 PM
OP I read your replies, despite the fact that I think we need ratings too, we have a deal here (it just came in my mind).
You have included thread links, so if user decides to use mixer, I highly think they'll follow ANN thread. This is the place where they can see date of website (date of ANN thread usually and some reviews). But what about to mention this in your first post that list is random and what I write...
Btw if you don't mind, I'll share my trusted mixers list:
1. Bitblender
2. Chipmixer
3. Cryptomixer
Do you agree with me?
4205  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will you guys check out my Bitcoin news site and let me know what you think? on: June 30, 2018, 07:56:07 PM
Articles are easier to understand for people who don't know english well (to my mind). That can be concidered as a positive for you because overall quality and main idea is good.
What you have to fix immediately is template. If website is very uncomfortable, why will someone read here? Especially when it's not major article source? Also I suggest to use wordpress and buy some great template on themeforest.
4206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: June 28, 2018, 11:56:39 PM
This thread is actually for those who have one way or the other mentioned on this section of the forum about catching fun in online gambling so as not to get addicted, which I am sure I am not the only person who must have come across this.

I totally understand that you can at least have some fun in real life casinos since there are people around you can gist with, you can even go with friends, there are other activities you get to lay your hands on etc, which can actually divert your attention from the impulse that comes with gambling and rather focus on the fun, instead of trying to win at all cost.

However, in online gambling, I really want to hear from those who said they can have fun doing so, which to me, it is more like virtually everyone gambling online is actually in it for the money. At least, I have gambled on freebitco.in dice few times, and I was bored as (whatever you want to fill in here), with the whole martingale strategy, that I had to look for a script to use while I just kept doing some other activities. Although, I know some platforms like cryptogames have a chat system where you can converse with other gamblers, but all these to me, still does not sound like fun compared to traditional level.

Please enlighten me just in case I am missing something here or do you share the same view?
It depends on the way how you look to gambling. What's fun for someone may make you anxious and and oppsitely. But of course every online casino suggest you not to play for profit. Well look it like this: You gamble online and pay a small in order to play your favourite game. That's the only thing I can imagine to be fair.
4207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: if you live in the EU, watch your profit. I've already turned off my rigs. on: June 28, 2018, 11:28:46 PM
i wouldn´t suggest to invest in new hardware either, roi might be never reached, but who nows...tomorrow odds can be different
if you have your hardware paid off, you can still be profitable after electricity...i´m even mining profitable with 0,20€/kwh
just do some research and give a fuck about whattomine
Can't agree. If you were regularly checkinf whattomine or nicehash this winter, you may would see that profit with gtx1080ti was insane. It could roi in one month and half but now can't say the same. So still worths to invest in latest hardwares, more risk = possibly more profit or huge loss. I prefer this one + at least you can sell them if anything doesn't happen.
4208  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain,info isn't sending autorizations emails. on: June 28, 2018, 11:02:00 PM
A very common problem for blockchain.info users

What about your spam folder? Did you check it?
Are you not using yahoo or gmail? If so, that might be the problem
I do hear from people that problem such as this solves by itself. What they did is basically to login from time to time. About their support, try your luck on their SNS e.g. twitter

Last resort would be to import your wallet into another for example in electrum. You do have your 12-word seed right?
Here's a tutorial: Restoring your standard wallet from seed
I had the same problem only on one account. Doesn't matters whatever I was trying, I was just unable to receive that shit email and login on blockchain.info
Then that problem got solved but autorization was impossible, tried a lot of browser and devices but I just couldn't login despite the fact that login/password was real and I was receiving mail too.
OP personally I lost that account (hopefully don't had money). Never/ever get any response from them.
But at the same time I want to mention that my second accound works fine...
4209  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need a signature designer on: June 28, 2018, 10:30:12 PM
Don't know if you find someone or not and I have no idea why you need to do it as soon as possible but at least this man is online very often and does his job pretty well.
Here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=521899
And to be fair serious designers won't and can't take this job because if you need nice and creative design, I think four hour isn't enough, conside this too.
4210  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Many ICOs look exactly like Banks 2.0 why do ICOs then? on: June 28, 2018, 10:07:26 PM
i increasingly observe, that many icos look exactly like banks with their financial products,

they even use the same language, same legal references, etc.

the team dresses same like the banksters.

i wonder why bother with an ICO in the first place? whats the use of that, when the landscape looks the same,

i rather expect a lot of confusion for those uninvolved and those they want to sell their token to.

didnt people support bitcoin because it was anti banks, because it was different?

regards
Is the profit you get from ICO bad? And people usually invest in bitcoin for profit, not for other reasons. Also they don't wear as banksters, they wear officially as needed, I think it won't be good to see someone with ripped shorts and painted t-shirts. You need to be formal.
Main idea is profit and not all ICO is the same, some of them are really great, different and unique.
4211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take the risk in trading? on: June 28, 2018, 09:34:05 PM
Hello fellas.
I am interested in trading and want to know more about it.I read somewhere in this forum that being a trader is very risky.
You as a trader, how did you face the risk in trading in order to lessen the possibility?
Don't you know what's trading? You sell in low price and sell in high price (in order to profit). So what's risk here? If you buy in low (as you see it's low) but price falls, your buy is meant to be high instead of low. Then you sell if you don't have nerves to hold and you get loss. It repeats and repeats. That's risk. There is no way to manage it by reading suggests from here.
4212  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★WORLD CUP PROMO / 50% ref★★★🎁 on: June 28, 2018, 08:50:07 PM
Nobody upgrades their servers due to a DDOS attack. What they do instead is simply use something like Cloudflare. Its that annoying message that makes you wait 5 seconds before forwarding you to the website.

Its almost impossible to upgrade your server to the point where they can withstand a DDOS attack; unless they are Apple, Google, or Microsoft.

The problem with the milestones is that many people use multiple accounts and use VPNs and have like probably 50-100 different alts, and right before the winning number they basically bet like crazy trying to strike the winning number. Then they just disappear and won't gamble again. While the honest gamblers don't reap the rewards they deserve.

Hence this is the reason why you need to set a really high bet base limit or just limit the amount of bets per second during that period where the milestone will be hit.

Most likely it won't get done because its way too much programming work for such a simple milestone contest, hence they just leave it as is.

To be fair I don't know DDOS attack works but as far as I know server resources play a big role in it. At least it will solve if there is traffic problem on website to keep users play with max speed.
Have you read this news? https://www.wired.com/story/github-ddos-memcached/
It's the biggest ddos in history, they don't use cloudflare, yeah? So how did they solve it? With servers and great system maybe, that's just my opinion.
4213  Other / Meta / Is it possible to report mod to close thread? on: June 28, 2018, 08:02:24 PM
Hello guys...
Seems I can't find but I'll ask: Is it possible to report moderator to close some threads instead of deleting?
As I see there is no such thing. If I'll report and comment to close, will they close? (If anyone tried... I don't want to do it blindly).
I ask this because some threads are necessary but people post same and same... nonsense...
4214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is necessary for Human Resources & Development ?? on: June 28, 2018, 06:47:07 PM
At some point crypto is the result of development, let me explain: There was non denectralized currency, was it? So human decided to create something like that. Was our privacy protected online while paying? No, so it was an issue. What we got in result? One man or group of people, satoshi, decided to create coin which would be decentralized and anonymous, he learnt coding and a lot, created a cryptocurrency. This action requires brain...
4215  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4900 by late August on: June 28, 2018, 05:00:07 PM
Your opinion is more logical for me compared to others who are claiming that bitcoin will be 10000$ and a lot by the end of august.
Guys last summer bitcoin's price was very low compared to current price. Also as you see, in winter there was just an epic on bitcoin, now everything seems stable. Is there any need for 10K and more? No because there is not so much demand.
4216  Other / Meta / Re: Does Google re-index edited threads? on: June 28, 2018, 04:30:48 PM
Well Google has found a sentence from the opening post.
https://www.google.com/search?q=%22As+it%27s+an+edited+post%2C+SMF+doesn%27t+bump+the+thread.%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b
That was pretty quick, and it was obviously made after the edit.
I searched for the edit, and I got this response
Quote from: Google
Your search - "It'll take another day od so to know if the name can be transferred to me." - did not match any documents.

This seems to indicate that Google doesn't look at historic posts for changes. This probably makes sense, as otherwise the workload would be enormous, even for Google.
Some years ago I was very active in websites and web programming. Despite the fact that seo was my weak point, luckily I got a lot of traffic.
When my website was new and unpopular, it was very hard for me to index added news, I was trying to ping website and get high PR. Engine had to do nothing with seo to be fair, all you need is seo optimized template to correctly index everything in google. Once your website becomes famous, old, high reputation and etc, google visits has a lot of attention on you, so your website indexes very quickly and edited threads too.
It don't takes any information from smf to reniew any indexed page.
4217  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How does blockchain technology on real world service work? on: June 27, 2018, 10:49:40 PM
There are a lot of ways it can work on real world services like for example Gold database, medications supply/demand and a lot.
But I guess you are interested in what's currently integrated in real life. Well, Georgia already registered land titles on the blockchain. It's positive side is that information is available for anyone and no one can edit blocks as they wish. Blockchain technologies are extra protection here.
4218  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★WORLD CUP PROMO / 50% ref★★★🎁 on: June 27, 2018, 10:23:26 PM
It looks like it as everytime Bitsler reach a billionth bet they try to create a promotion from it. It is one of the best way in celebrating a milestone and that is being able to give back to Bitsler's community. By that time happens chances are Bitsler will have multiple promotions as the World Cup is still far from over.
If Bitsler will go with another Billionth Bet promotion, it's not surprising anymore. Bitsler is good with giving back to the gambling community. Bitsler may have been the target of DDOS attacks recently but it didn't stop the players to wait till the site is up and running again. Just look at how many bets Bitsler handled so far? It's just 170 Million bets shy to reach 27 Billions bets.

Sometimes its not even DDOS but its basically tons of people flooding the autobot to get the winning roll.

I have pretty much given up trying and winning a milestone number because its impossible to time it properly.

Even if you calculate that there are 100 bets/second and when it gets near the milestone number, in that minute it will go up to like 500 or 1000 bets/second which are all mostly bits competing to get the winning number.

What needs to be done is limit the bets to like 1 bet/second during that hour that the milestone numbers will appear. It will give everyone a more equal and fair chance.
I think it's not tbat hard to determine where it's ddos attack or massive traffic amd active gambling on website. Also limiting isn't a good idea to my mind. What about to upgrade current servers and add some new ones? There is no doubt it will solve if the problem you mention exists, as far as I know it works against DDOS too (not a technical guy).
4219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone help me remember the name of the overclock/algorithm/gpu database? on: June 27, 2018, 09:39:56 PM
Do you talk about this website? https://cryptomining-blog.com <-- I think it's the design you mentioned (well, maybe not full of interactive buttons) and it has databaces too.
Or maybe was it http://jkcrypto.com ?
Btw if it's not the website you are loking for and I failed, then I just suggest you to have a look at 1stminingrig.com
4220  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: June 27, 2018, 07:40:43 PM
What about to rank them? I mean to make it easy for customers to make a choice with some factors like how much year is the mixer active and etc...
Because as you see, bitmixcoin turned into scam, as I remember they weren't in your list but if they were between serious mixers, it would be unfair.
I think it's better to include how much year they are active in mixing since ranking them by our choice would cause a lot of issues.
