4201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [DeFi SCAM] FinSwap - AI generated images on: September 07, 2020, 08:10:12 AM
They are no longer creating ANN threads or representative accounts for their scams anymore.

It means the flag system is working nicely and putting off their "victims" and thus saving some of their money. Good thing theymos came up with the idea and it is working effectively. But we still need to be cautious because they may make accounts in future even after the thread OP has done all the work and continue getting some views.

If they put up an ANN just update the OP and post here with a flag, I see some users are not making flags right away, thus should do that as soon as they get a thread ready here, so we can all support and paint them fresh with red paint.
4202  Economy / Economics / Re: Socialist life on: September 07, 2020, 05:30:21 AM
World Going to socialist regime
World is going this, world is going that... mind providing some Proof? and please dont say you are drunk or on weed.

So 50% will provide services and production for other 50%
It might be easy to think like that, but every one has to work to keep a country running. Every person is a cog in a large chain and though we tend to have a narrow vision of ourselves there are many others doing different roles in different positions and nobody is inferior to anybody. Just that we dont care to give the importance to others.

So what you say, is a part of your own delusion. Half of the population of any country is not sleeping, they have different work to do.

4203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading group on: September 07, 2020, 05:23:27 AM
Local trading group is good choice for OP, the advantage of joining the local community we can meet them face to face and also the language will be easier to understand.
Local groups have a better impact on the marketing, no doubt about it because when people talk in their local language it becomes more closer to them and more likely to be a shill group in the end too because they are easier to manipulate in buying shitcoins. Grin

Of course that is what these groups are created to be, shill the paid for altcoin and then promote them in such groups to the brainwashed shills to make them buy it. All for profit of the advisors who are bagholding those coins.

If you ask me, stay away from trading groups. Develop your own TA, like I said above and do not trust someone else's charts to make your investments. Above all, be happy with your trading decisions.
4204  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Rahakott wallet SCAM?? on: September 06, 2020, 06:43:40 AM
What I made out from the link that Rahakott sent out a notice to its users about service termination and then just did that. This makes no sense, but possibility of scam always comes when its crypto. Those coins could still be recoverable and not just lost in limbo if they have not been spent yet.

OP and the other users who have been victims should inform authorities and sue the owners and see if the cybercrime department can do something about it. Did they have any contact information/domain name registration?

Very little can be hoped for but it is what is in their hands to do.
4205  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: September 06, 2020, 06:02:43 AM
You have some nice jackpot I've seen that the lowest possible win is 1% of the total jackpot which is still a good profit for that kind of jackpot you can win 1.1+ Bitcoin
Yup but you need to be betting an amount that is eligible for that percentage of the jackpot. To keep it simple and to maximize your chances of getting the jackpot roll bet with more than that and keep it running. After all nobody likes to find out that they had rolled 77.77 twice back to back but with a zero value bet.

also what section in your forum I can find post about current races or competitions in primedice?
Races occur on site only. You have to check the Races tab beside the High Rollers tab. You can find promotions under Primedice Promotions. These include Official, VIP, Hosted and Unofficial ones.
4206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits/Stacking Sats on: September 05, 2020, 05:13:29 AM
Doing this manually is hard to be honest.
OP can develop his own bots to track markets. It is not that tough and AFAIK, he has knowledge on coding.

Quote
But for scalping , I would advice you to use  automatic trading bots since they are fast to execute your orders.
He already said in the OP that he does not want to use them. Roll Eyes

The market is really crazy and the way price manipulation going on is really bad impact on crypto market. The way shit coin pump is crazy
Aha, thats the reason why many forum users have changed focus to trading. Unlike me who has been doing it since a long time. Me just watching the waves on my older shitcoins now and selling them. Grin

Like if you bought them at this price it would be a mistake. Prices have risen and thus it is the time to dump them. Starting trading now is an incorrect one but not a bad one.

Leverage trading makes more risk for traders and exchanges don't think about it.
Leverage and Spot are two different ballgames. If OP is new to trading I would suggest them Spot obviously and to stick to Spot later on because I feel it is the more safer of the two. Leverage and Margin just adds in more mental stress, which is important to minimize if you want to start healthy in this game.

Stick to bitcoins would be my advice. Time and again we have seen it prove it resilience in the same and if bought at good lows it can give good returns.
4207  Economy / Speculation / Re: What affects the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: September 05, 2020, 04:54:18 AM
IMO Bitcoin is not an independent system, even though crypto anarchists would like it to be one.
Crypto-anarchists are weed-fed people with a load of bullcrap in place of brains who dont understand the E in Economics. They fail to realize how this world works and hopes to get out of the system and thinks bitcoin to be their saviour while it is not completely correct. Moreover, those who claim to be such are nothing but bagholders who are panicking to sell because they think bitcoin will not be giving them the profit them thought of.

In short, crypto is not something that is is going to change the world overnight. It might change the economy gradually but it will take years. The sane and more logical way of proceeding with it is buying some bitcoin when prices become low. Do not go all in because that is a stubborn move to make. Wait for price to floor and buy it. But keep in mind that the future of bitcoin though bright can become dark anytime.
4208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading group on: September 04, 2020, 06:06:40 AM
I would just like to ask you to throw off all sorts of groups( not channels) with traders, where there are discussions of trading and all this.
They are not difficult to seek out but I would suggest against it.

The groups are often filled with shitcoin shills promoting their bagholded coins for nothing and will lead you to buy them with promises that it will be the next bitcoin or so. Then there are dictator admins who will spam their own referral links while forbidding anyone else to post their referral links.

These groups are nothing but added mental stress. If you wish to trade then do it by yourself, develop your own charts and work your own TA.

But of course if you are one of those shills then my advice is useless to you. Roll Eyes
4209  Economy / Speculation / Re: What affects the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: September 04, 2020, 05:57:19 AM
This topic has been discussed at length previously but yet it finds its way back here.

The only thing that directly affects the price is demand/supply. If people are buying it more its price will rise. Supply is still fixed, so supply will be the reason why price rise even more in future. It is deflationary after all.

Rest of them all, political news, governments banning stuff - all have an indirect effect through the attitude of the traders. Inorganically created demand to raise price does not stand for long as we all have seen, good example is the 2017Q4 pump.
4210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto for Fish farming and ornamental fish industry on: September 04, 2020, 05:49:57 AM
Ornamental fish farming is a niche market though and considering most fish keepers are not that tech savvy how do you think you can help them out? You would first have to gather a group of people who are like minded, teach then about crypto and how to keep it safe and then introduce your idea to them.

Are you thinking of using only bitcoin or a specific altcoin for this? Using bitcoin only might be the safer method because depending on how much demand you and other fellow fish keepers can generate, the altcoin intended for fish trading will vary in price.
4211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: September 03, 2020, 04:38:56 AM
Its easy as well as risky though, no one can make stable income by trading cryoto currencies but they can a lot compared to other investment so all they need is patience, they have to wait for their time to cashout and the profit margin is also important factor if you are a day trader.
Stable income trading is more a gimmick mate. If someone is telling you that, be ready to be receiving referral links to shady websites from them.

Trading income is by default unstable and will very depending on political news and how you react to the market. Some days you might be able to make some while other days you might lose some. It is all part of the cycle, nothing good or bad.

Keeping hodlers aside, those who are actively trading will have different buying and selling points, that is tough thing to keep up with. But day traders are developing their own bots and doing that.
4212  Other / Meta / Re: Should "Bitcoin Meetups" have child boards? on: September 03, 2020, 04:20:35 AM
I mean the whole concept of "meetup" is a middle-finger to the "pseudo-anonymous" nature of bitcoin. Like if a middle class average Joe would be going there, and telling everyone who they are, the are going to be robbed one fine day if they own a decent amount. It is as simple as that.

For the traditional funding methods we have seen big venture capitalists have a party somewhere remote with private invites and end up with a 1% on their investment.

Surely the concept of meetups could be extrapolated to digital versions where you can "meetup" from home. But child boards? Seems like a hard pass to me.
4213  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yearn Protocol Fake Team CEO on: September 02, 2020, 06:06:48 AM
Ahh the yearning of getting rich.  Roll Eyes

Sounds like a dream to some and those who honestly work hard for it do get my respect. But not lowlife scum who scam people and use crypto as a cover up so they don't caught. These people need to rot in the worst places in the universe to know what it feels like to lose their hard earned money.

OP when you going to open a flag?

I just noticed "actively looking for a partner" in the relationship status. LMAO, this scum even thinks someone is going lay them.
4214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake Your Cardano Ada and Reap The Reward on: September 02, 2020, 05:53:56 AM
Did anyone try this? What's your experience?
I have a significant bag of ADA on binance atm, and am willing to try out staking, but need some proof this is actually legit
Pretty sure it is going to be another way to stealing your ADA in the name of staking. The skepticism is real here since we have so much experience of scams and sudden disappearances of owners of seemingly profitable projects.

Staking was recently the buzzword befor DeFi took over. While staking itself might not be a bad thing, but it has its own risks which make it inferior to POW. I am sure the OP here and her bunch of shills will be willing to refute this statement with a bucketload of crap.

In short don't stake your coins even if they are too low to sell.
4215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: about Airdrop in Telegram on: September 02, 2020, 05:49:23 AM
Lots of airdrops from telegram channels end with scamming and worthless, only a few pay well. Mostly only contain referral links that benefit for the channel owners, if you don't have a telegram channel/group with lots of active members it's better to join airdrops on twitter, it's more legit
Twitter airdrops more legit? Not at all. They are the same and so are the scum on Facebook. You cannot hope to go to a social media and get paid for spamming shitposts. It is a low standard effort and thus you will get low standard results. Sadly most people never realised this and keep doing it in the name of bounties.

What you can do is shun all projects that appear after bitcoin, in short they are all worthless.

You should develop your own skills and use them to acquire some work. You could also go for the bitcoin paying campaigns which are worth your time and we have new ones coming jn every week.
4216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will Dex's Dominate the Cex's in near future? on: September 01, 2020, 05:13:24 AM
Don't trust too much about this Uniswap exchange. They may be doing good right now because of the DeFi hype but once dust settled, I don't think it will still be the same.
Uni had a good private funding. So it does not matter to them whether the DeFi season ends or not. They will make money, pay off their employees and investors and then back off once the dust settles. Point is that it is an exchange and you cannot say that an exchange is scam because they list these tokens, that is childish to do.

Quote
I have the feeling that this exchange will be full of crap projects later on.
Which exchange out there is not full of crap tokens? Roll Eyes

Quote
As they can accept every project that wants to be listed and no filter whatsoever, the time will come that worthless tokens will pile up on top of another.
Etherdelta:ERC tokens = Uniswap:DeFi  Grin

Quote
I still believe that we need some criteria in this market, especially that scammers are everywhere in this industry. So I still vote for CEX.
That we can all agree on. But the point is that even after so many years of scams happening, we need to be careful to know where to put our money. That is what I feel should be given more stress. Scams are everywhere but to know which one is legit is tough. The simpler thing is to just buy bitcoin and hold that for mid-long term.
4217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: September 01, 2020, 05:07:22 AM
I know the defi project has been around for a long time, but the hype that happened to the defi project has just been created which makes almost most old and new altcoins offer the service to benefit from the hype, I believe there will be many defi projects that fail and leave little. who will succeed with this concept. of course those who are real and have a strong team.
Which is what makes the hype absurd. DeFi projects have been here for a longer period of time than ICOs started.

What actually happened is that some projects started doing lending pools and stablecoins and tag the DeFi hashtag with it and promoted it like it was some new groundbreaking technology. In reality fools who never know what projects like BitRefill have done got excited about this "new thing" and looked into it as the new bubble.

But even if many users of this forum understand this disguised scam, most investors dont even come to this forum and thus they are not getting informed of the same.
4218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to protect your self as designer/developer from scammers? on: September 01, 2020, 04:58:47 AM
If you are going to develop something, just ask the buyer to escrow the amount. This might lead to dissent from the buyer but you need to be professional in explaining why and how this is important. Knowing your past history of accusing other designers to be running a gang, I guess being professional is tough for you, so you will need to work on it.

Just assume that every person looking for a job is not going to pay you. So you must ask for the escrow and  their budget from before hand. For well known projects though you can skip this.

Offtopic: You really need to stop your beef with other members of this forum. This is a forum after all.
4219  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I call this the "right way of mixing"? on: August 31, 2020, 12:35:28 PM
No it is not, IMO.

You guys remember the number of threads that used to come up in "Scam Accusations" blaming casinos for freezing their funds? When we tried to make them say what the source of funds was, there never came any reply and those threads were left without followup.

Now it is possible that the user was being cautious to reveal the info because it might hurt their privacy. But it is again possible that the sources were tainted and the casino found it out and probably brought it to the notice of the authorities. Now this guy is posting his one sided story to this forum and thus unable to follow it up with proper information.

Note, if you want to use a mixing service, use a legit one, dont use different casinos or exchanges or anything else thinking that you are wiping your trace, you are wrong the data can be traced back.
4220  Economy / Economics / Re: Remote Working and Inequality on: August 31, 2020, 12:31:08 PM
Due to the pandemic there will be an evolution of office jobs. We are noticing this change, more companies are digitizing all their systems so that their employees continue to operate from remote jobs.
That was expected was it not? If the pandemic would not have affected us, nobody would have even thought of working like that. Props to the internet providers and laptop manufacturers to continue providing services which are essential to keep the cycle complete.

Quote
But not all companies work from a computer. There are companies that need to continue their operations from workstations such as agricultural, industrial, manufacturing fields, etc.
Of course those jobs will never change and they are the basis of life. Farmers in many countries have not idea what a pandemic is how it has spread although they will with time. Many day workers who have worked as laborers have seen job openings and job cuts as well.

But the point is that all these things have not adversely affected the bitcoin price. Roll Eyes
