Oh god lol yes I did count them manually,,, never crossed my mind that you could copy paste tables like that into Excel or spreadsheet and it would work.

I just tried it now and of course it works, but anyway no I am really sure I have my counts right as I did it twice to confirm when the numbers went up. Guess it was a bug now fixed Smiley

Day 37 Casino Live Participants as of 13 October: 60 (no change)

Now I can even keep record and see who gets eliminated Wink
4203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trades at $56,000 as daily settlement value hits $31 billion on: October 13, 2021, 06:58:48 AM
When was October declared a bearish month? I know the media says September is always traditionally a poor month for performance, but that just makes October a month for recovery as we're seeing now.

Fine, BTC couldn't keep 57k but it's holding very well above 55k now. Alts not doing so great, this is where BTC showing its muscles to the audience Wink

Mate, Kolkata is not in final now, they are going to play second qualifier tomorrow against Delhi Capitals. I am feeling good for Kolkata because they are emerging good in last few matches and have some good combination of talented players those are performing good in crucial time.

Delhi Capitals is also good team but in last two matches suddenly they are going down very badly and this can have very bad impact on their performance in next match if they want to qualify for final then surely they need to regroup and have very good batting because they have very decent bowling but every time batting is giving them some serious shocks.

Man yeah, my friend pointed it out to me already at lunch so I came back looking for this comment!

See what happens when your team is out? You stop caring about the whole tournament  Grin

You know the problem with a good team performing badly is that they can suddenly improve, like my MI did (but of course, not enough to go through for playoffs). I feel like the unpredictability is getting wider these days.
4206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Futures ETF on: October 12, 2021, 02:03:23 PM
First time to hear about roll yields, but I suppose that is a longterm risk. The ETF approval should be immediate cause for positivity, because it means recognition and it means legality for a new asset.

But if ETFs also brings risk (as a form of gambling) and allows side manipulation of markets, then that risk could affect Bitcoin's reputation as a market resistant to manipulation (even though ETFs are not directly affecting actual BTC trading).
4207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL to 100K movement on: October 12, 2021, 01:02:09 PM
What I don't understand is what's so magical about $100k. Sure, it's a nice round number, and there will be a lot of orders at that number. But why stop there?

But what's wrong with finding it magical? When it wasn't $100, that was the dream for early adopters (or even $1). And $10,000 when I saw it, in the crypto chat I was in, everyone was celebrating. It's okay, so what, celebrating it doesn't mean stopping there. I know we all dream of 1 million dollars, but we want it to grow even more Wink

I freely admit it if I had 1 BTC and it was $1 million. I sell. For sure. Buy my land, house, everything I need for the future until I die. And keep BTC only enough as savings.
4208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 12, 2021, 11:43:06 AM
Wow guys, I did not expect it at all yesterday, and boom KKR is in the final, after taking out what everyone thought would be the finalists (or at least I thought RCB would).

Odds from bookies are less than 2x on either of them and always switching to this is proof there is so little to divide these 2 teams. So I wouldn't say it is easy for CSK, just need to ask RCB Wink
4209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 12, 2021, 11:08:12 AM
I do think that Zverev is going to win, but odds @1.2 are not worth the risk of having Murray on his day, since there could be a lot of fire, if that happens

Absolutely to the point. I know Murray is expected to lose mainly because of his physical condition and well documented weakness to play successive wins after his recovery.

But maybe he pulls of one more win. And the odds for that are too good to ignore.
4210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 12, 2021, 10:03:17 AM
Most people wager on PSG, and by a big margin as well, like 70%+ people wager on PSG most probably, a case could be made for as high as 90%+ as well. This is why only "few" people would be richer if Angers wins, whereas it is a bigger profit for the sportsbooks.

Most people wager on favorites period Smiley

And when you look at PSG's record, winning majority of games, like all the big favorites in their leagues, Bayern, City, of course you expect most people to put most of their money on PSG.

Sportsbook always wins too because of the other betting, or multibetting usually, pairing PSG with other outcomes. And of course the odds. PSG winning 4/5 games should be 1.25 but the odds will be 1.20 Smiley
4211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 12, 2021, 09:28:52 AM
Agreed, it was a good Final four. The 1st one won by Portugal 2 years ago was way more boring and with a lot more experimenting from the teams included.

This year all the teams came to the final tournament with the strongest teams and there was some really good football being played. I still think that this competition is not necessary because it will give players no time to rest at all but I plan to enjoy in good football while it lasts Grin

I didn't even realize it had come actually, to be honest. 2 whole years went by and I honestly didn't feel it. But yes, at least we really got a nice game out of the last 4 matches of this. Proof I guess for UEFA that this wasn't necessarily a boring tournament for everyone. I just worry about the players at the end though, and you know even Lloris though winning his first trophy, he said players health needs to be cared for more than money.
4212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 12, 2021, 08:12:45 AM
Hmm Okay everyone it seems something went wrong.

Day 36 Casino Live Participants as of 12 October: shows 67

But yesterday it was 62. And last week 66. Suddenly we have 5 more guys added. Bug?

Trofo, it's like my MultiMaster win. I won it once but shared with something like 8 or 9 people? Not that I'm complaining but I came within 1 pick many times and of course win it when it was the easiest round haha.
I also won Multimaster, one of those eSports specials without draws and had to share it with lots of people. I think there was 8 of in total. Look at us bitching and we are actually winning those promos. I am thinking there is many users that would gladly change places with us Smiley

While we are on subject I already collected shitload of 10$ free bets from that 4-3 promo but just once I managed to hit 50$. Tough life

Lol indeed, all of you talking about winning and sharing but I've made a lot of close places, always losing out because of matches that win when I picked draws if I remember on the games that I almost won.

I always get cricket 4-3 selections and won $50 once also only and a few $10s, I guess the next target for us is to get $100k (but it isn't accessible to my region I believe).
4213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 12, 2021, 07:19:07 AM
I'm going to keep laughing at ourselves until this happens, the time for sadness has gone.
I keep doing that as well, joking about your own team is one of the best methods to get fun out of football as well. I keep remembering that IT Crowd scene : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yN2H3--1aw and it is kind of the reality for most teams as well where we can joke about it as long as we want and it would be funny, any football fan that didn't laugh at that scene is just way too holigan to care for anything else.

Barcelona has been in a horrible display this season but I am sure that they will do fine, there is nothing to worry about, they are always good and I am sure they will stay good. What I do not get however is why they are looking like they will keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

Exactly Smiley I find the same thing about many things in life and even including crypto.

I lost a lot of money in ICOs and alts in 2017/18 and I could have cried but instead I laughed at myself and my stupidity for believing in "trustworthy" people on this forum. And then got slapped about badly for it and was even treated rudely and like a dumb guy, but I didn't get mad.

I laughed, found it funny, and made sure to learn the lessons.

Hopefully Barca fans also feel the same way Smiley
4214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: October 12, 2021, 05:48:52 AM
OK so no new opinions here but I just have to say that the strange thing for me is Elon Musk isn't being punished for his involvement in pumping all of these memecoins.

Why do you think he should be punished when no case has been established against him that he manipulated the market. Elon is an investor like every other investors and all wealthy investors have the tendency to pump and dump whenever they sell or buy because of the large quantities they do. Are we going to hold anyone accountable for buying and selling what belongs to them just because we do not like them? If we look at this truthfully we see that Elon is a businessman like many others and business people are in business to get profit. I do not think he has done anything wrong.

I don't think he should be punished. Look at the context of what I was saying Smiley

IF it was true that the US government forced him to say something bad about Bitcoin because he had been praising it in the past (according to the conspiracy theorists of course since his mining argument was nonsense), then they should also have stepped in when he promoted fake coins like Shiba.

I don't care what people do personally. Just saying I'm surprised the US government isn't using the opportunity.

I would like to echo DarkStar_ on the betting. And I've been here a while watching the games for a very long time. It has never, ever been better to bet on the favorites on this site, or even the close favs. That's just because of the P2P system, where in the betting world, majority of people and volume always side the favorites.

Underdog bets are much better, close to bookie or even better but you have to bet early and the match must be popular enough to attract a lot of volume on the favorite side.

I hitted 0 once hoped for a bonus  Grin

Oh and 8888 as well,,, which is meaningless if you are not making a manual/auto wager with something else on it to win the Jackpot Wink
4216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it last long or temporary? on: October 11, 2021, 04:46:32 PM
Well, i guess everyday is an evaluation for bitcoin since no one of us can really make a right prediction. But if we trace the history from the past years, the last quarter of the year is really a good time to look forward to since bull run is mostly witnessed in this time. The market may continue to change but there are high chances that it will be more on positive news and trends and that will definitely boost more the momentum of bitcoin so it can start working on its new ATH.

It doesn't happen every year's Q4 but yes, it does seem to happen to signal the coming rally (as it did last year from October/November 2020) and it also performs strongly in the year of the rally itself (which is this year).

I hope the bad Q1 after the rally year doesn't happen next year though but if it does, accumulation time again, so we can't stay sad for very long if that turns out to be the case.
4217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading algos/bots getting better? on: October 11, 2021, 04:00:11 PM
It's a safe assumption to think that trading algos, bots, or the top traders in general would just get better and better with time. Especially those at the literal top of the game such as 3 Arrows Capital and Alameda Research. Pretty much billionaires at the top of the game doing this stuff for a living.

Never heard of these names before, but I've looked them up and they're pretty good I've to say.

The more mainstream ones like eToro have been around for so many years (but okay to be fair only recently in crypto) and they're so bad.

The worst are blockchain ones. You know the ones that supposedly use AI and big data and crowd intelligence. I've tried a few in the past and they always end up either very badly losing or break even but with so much effort and fees you just give up. I believe it's because they're mainly amateurs and devs, and not to the caliber of real billionaires.

Who of course will never share their algos.

I have done this several times and these were the results I got:

That's pretty amazing thanks for sharing and I must congratulate you doubly for saving those screenshots! I wish I'd saved more of my amazing hits (including getting 0000 on freeroll before which to me is 2nd most amazing roll to hit;) ).

I have thought about saving up but in the end I think it's better to have many chances in many lottery rounds, rather than save up for 1 big lottery round and still not win. Anyway, that is another gamble in the end I guess Smiley
4219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL to 100K movement on: October 11, 2021, 02:11:31 PM
You can’t get everyone that hodl’s bitcoin to act in unity with you because not everyone that hodl bitcoin is in this forum and not everyone in this forum is going to see this post, and even those that saw it, not all of them are going to be ready to do that with you.

If everyone acted in unity, there would be no market except for newbies coming in to spend cash.

People always hope everyone hodls but that's the pyramid scheme game that very few Bitcoiners will ever go for. Those who do are hodling so much they're waiting for a big price to sell, and that's when they'll pretend they'll still hodling but in reality, they're just waiting for max profit.

I still prefer everyone to try and become active users because passive hodling is not long-term helpful for the network.
4220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 11, 2021, 01:09:39 PM
Dhoni still breaking Indian internet, I'm out of IPL already but still can manage to enjoy something so it's all good.

Anybody know where to bet on Harshal Patel breaking the wicket record? RCB could still lose and he might even break it then but it's going to be almost for sure if they win and he plays again against DC. I still think RCB win this one!
