4221  Economy / Services / Re: Emerge | Multisig Escrow & Sig Campaign Management | FREE on: March 16, 2016, 01:58:21 PM
You should stake your public key over here rather than in a pastebin.

Done just now
It will take some time for your key to be added, but that's certainly better than staking it in a pastebin.
4222  Other / Meta / Re: [HELP] Gif avatar not acceptable ? on: March 16, 2016, 01:42:18 PM
thanks for the details Lutpin! But animated photo on thread still allowed ?
Sure they are.

4223  Economy / Services / Re: ★▶ [Jetwin.ps] Signature Design Contest | Win upto 0.55 BTC◀★ on: March 16, 2016, 01:37:02 PM
Erm, you sure the signature is within the char limits?
Yes it is. And can you give me a link where we can see the limit ?
Those are the restrictions:

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed
Quote
Signatures are displayed at the bottom of each post or personal message. BBC code and smileys may be used in your signature. Signatures taller than 42px will be cut off.
Images are not allowed. As your member rank increases, you can use more types of styling in your signature, and your signature can be longer. Max 4000
Since you are a senior member yourself, you can just quickly go ahead and try the signature with your account for a second.
Should be easy to see if it works or not.
4224  Other / Meta / Re: [HELP] Gif avatar not acceptable ? on: March 16, 2016, 01:16:37 PM
Same problem as when I tried uploading a gif avatar before. It didn't also worked for me, it was uploaded but the gif is not moving.
Because AFAIK animated gifs aren't supported/allowed anymore. Those you see around have uploaded their animated avatar ages ago.
Static gifs however aren't a problem at all, as my avatar shows.

A quick forum search revealed the following:

Old account (i.e ~2-3 years old ) were allowed [animated] gif avatars. But now it is not allowed not any member rank but still some old accounts have their [animated] gif avatar as their account avatar and is pretty in demand as now it is not allowed and user find [animated] gif avatars more attractive so it does make sense. If you try to put up an [animated] gif avatar it will refuse up and ask you to put up a .png or .jpeg or any non-animated [gif] avatar.
4225  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: March 16, 2016, 11:50:10 AM
But whats the whole point of this ? Are you saying I am scamming people?
Is this thread titled "known alts of scammers"?
Last time I checked we were listing "known alts of anyone", which would include you and your alts.

Can you guys check this out?
I'll have a look later.
4226  Economy / Services / Re: ★▶ [Jetwin.ps] Signature Design Contest | Win upto 0.55 BTC◀★ on: March 16, 2016, 11:39:42 AM
do you need good graphics design skills
If you want to win, it's certainly not going to harm your chances having some skills.

photoshop to be considered for this contest
Signatures are designed in BBCode, photoshop isn't going to help you much in this case.

Will the transaction fee be deducted from the prices?
4227  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: March 16, 2016, 11:15:48 AM
it has been 2 weeks and my activity has still stayed on 28. My posts are more than 28 so why is it like that?
Because this post right now is your first post in the current activity period, your previous posts were all in the last activity period or that one before.
You have to make at least one post in an period to gain the activity (or potential activity) for said period.
Also don't forget it can take up to one hour (or sometimes even longer) for your activity to update.

There you go, activity: 42
4228  Other / Meta / Re: roslinpl:"Mods please do something with his posts or if I'm wrong please let me" on: March 16, 2016, 11:09:29 AM
Also he's/they're spamming the forum with his fud and I don't really understand why people like him/them aren't banned.
Without taking sides (I can't say I'm aware of the situation, so I won't say anything regarding to it),
posting a thread in the Meta section and insta-locking it is kinda unnecessary.
If you just want to plainly report a post, there's a great report function built in already, use it.

If you want to start a discussion about cryptosmoker/TwitchySeal (and what they are doing),
you can also open a thread in the Reputation board, but don't insta-lock it.
4229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FifaCoinsSupplier IS A SCAMMER! BEWARE! on: March 16, 2016, 10:48:17 AM
~snip~
~snip~
That's about enough, tagged the account aswell.

WTF? Admins in this forum need to review their rules and regulations then. How can we let them roam around? Especially when the people they scam aren't high level members, thus you won't see their real trust rating straight away!
With "high level members" you mean defaulttrust users (those whos feedbacks are considered "trusted"), right?
Well, before doing a trade, you should aswell check the untrusted feedbacks, and their references.
Also, if someone "untrusted" got scammed, they can open a scam accusation (just as you did) and get a rating from a defaulttrust user that way.
4230  Other / Meta / Re: [HELP] Gif avatar not acceptable ? on: March 16, 2016, 10:26:06 AM
Is it an animated gif?
Does the file meet all the other requirements?

I've just changed my avatar to (the same one but) a .gif file.
As you can see, there has been no problem (direct link).
So it's no forum problem, but has to be something with the gif you're trying.
4231  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User with a few alts trying to blackmail me on: March 16, 2016, 10:21:17 AM
Scam conformed.I messaged sardasa asking if he redirected any user with the name mentioned above and this is what he says
He's a liar, who would have seen that one coming.

Seems like he just locked all his open threads.
I guess he's done now.
4232  Economy / Reputation / Re: AtomiCAT's alt - Finally found them out :D on: March 16, 2016, 10:19:41 AM
@shorena: I would allow you to verify the PM he sent me but is there a way to verify it without giving you my account(Teamviewer screen sharing or something similar)?
Giving someone short access should be the fastest way of verifying the PM. I'd say (IMO) shorena is more than trusted to do that.
Or you choose someone else who is a) trusted on the forum and b) yau personally trust.

Its not that I don't trust shorena to hold my account I just don't want to change my password and have it appear on my trust page.
Understandable, but probably something you have to cope up with.
4233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: is there a lists of ethminer commands for bat file? or way to improve hashrate on: March 16, 2016, 12:54:27 AM
12 MH/s is already very fast for the old 7870 card.
I'm getting 11.2MH/s out of my old 7850, it seems about right.
4234  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: the shill observer - troll monitoring - NEW: language processing on: March 16, 2016, 12:37:10 AM
it's not very advanced so what would you like to use it for? all ideas welcome i''ll try to implement some ideas
i plan to run it and monitor bitco.in forum because the classic guys are there
I think it would be a good idea to run it here on some users here who shill for a certain scaling solution (e.g. classic, core, xt; analyze all of them!). Also it could be useful for determining the shills of scam sites in the marketplace.
I agree, I'd have one or two accounts I'd like to try this on.
4235  Other / Meta / Re: Banned & Login issues on: March 16, 2016, 12:24:59 AM
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
1. When I press login the browser is thinking and just sents me to the index page (not even the login page), there is no message displayed or even a pop up.
As far as I know, it's supposed to take you to the index page, and there is no popup or anything like that.
You should however get some box with a red text, saying roughly:

"Sorry LuckyYOU, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum. You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: mail address"
(above text is for permanent bans, temporary bans might have other texts.)

2. A potential ban. I understand there is sig. spamming happening here, but I consider myself nor the post spam posts. While ontopic i always try to contribute and share my knowledge.
Tend to disagree, but I am no one to judge.
4236  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User with a few alts trying to blackmail me on: March 15, 2016, 11:57:05 PM
Wanna share that PMs asking for compensation / threatening to reveal your alt(s)?
4237  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $100 Amazon GC For $60 on: March 15, 2016, 09:26:57 PM
Now at least do your part in scam prevention and create a Scam Accusations thread with all relevant PMs and Skype chat details.
I believe he has already created the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1399489.0 Time for DT to do their part  Cheesy
Of which suchmoon is a part.
However, that scam accusation is still missing a few key points, which will be required before acting.
Never mind, suchmoon already did "their part".

I may have been scammed to by this user "1000000". Also "Martin Gheshk" or "live:martin.1000000_1" on skype. I will know soon.
If you know soon, you should open a scam accusation of your own, once you do so.
Posting in a digital goods thread of a different seller(/scammer) isn't going to help you much.
4238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anywhere to Gamble Ethereum? on: March 15, 2016, 08:51:08 PM
and for now i don't think that there are a lot of etherium gambling sites, because ethereum is still new, so it will take month or more till you'll find these sites
Good thing we've already found two Smiley
4239  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Phishing links by this user over pm on: March 15, 2016, 08:44:53 PM
bitcointaIk.org? Yeah, we know these by now.
You already reported the PM, right?

Yes, reported to admins.
Reporting them to Cyrus (or grue/hilariousandco) should be the fastest option.
They most probably will nuke/ban the user.
4240  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Abuse - Lutpin - With Reasons on: March 15, 2016, 08:44:04 PM
I see and probably my last question, please can you tell me reason for your trust on my account ? That QS explained , so please ?
It is to inform any future individuals who might loan you, or make a trade, of this.

ok thanks and really I did not like the rating you left on me. If possible and you feel relevant please remove it, I dont think anyone is childish enough to trade without escrow ... or maybe fine as you wish Smiley
It's a neutral, it's not affecting your trust score. There is a reference for people, so they can check out the according threads and make their own conclusion out of it.
