4221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: September 24, 2016, 10:16:04 PM
I just did. $0 in my pocket. Cheesy it feels so awesome to have only Bitcoin now. I am waiting for the winter. This Christmas, I'm going to sell all. Profit!
4222  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitfinex back on track leading the market. on: September 24, 2016, 10:14:29 PM
I'm actually impressed they managed to stay open.
I predicted they would be dead in a month.
Apparently their plan of issuing credits to cover their losses until they could make it back was a stroke of genius.
(Along with their ability to borrow some money or whatever other method they used to stay afloat.)

If people took their loss and withdraw all their balances from Bitfinex, then look at how quick this exchange will sink. But people apparently think Bitfinex did enough to come up with a "good plan" to pay people back. And that may be reason enough for them to stay trading there. And who knows, maybe Bitfinex is totally faking their trades and volumes to make it look like people are still trading there. We don't know that as it's all speculation.

Or one day, it will be 'hacked' again. They had the money to pay the users part of their loss because the 'hacked' money is IN THEIR POCKETS.
4223  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: September 24, 2016, 10:04:17 PM
This may sound odd... but I once had around BTC60 with me. Even when the exchange rate climbed to $1,250 per coin, I refrained from selling any of these coins. And that was a very big mistake. Later, I lost a majority of my coins in various scams. Also, sold a few coins to cover my expenses. Now I am having less than BTC10 in my wallets.

That's really sad to hear that you lost them in the hands of the scammers and that was the time if you would have sold your all coins then at this stage you would be in comfortable position.

We cant really  blame completely our selves because   people are not perfect  of which we could  predict such situation  like   on having 60btc  and suddenly the price rose  up to $1200 mark which is  somehow very regretting  when you realize in the end  that you  should   exchange it   when the price is still high  but  we cant remove through our minds about the thing  that it might rise even  more.

It's the 'it HAS to rise more than that!' feeling. I hate it when it happens, especially in gambling: 'Come on, I feel the green!' and you lose.
4224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: September 24, 2016, 10:01:22 PM
You can earn upto 9900times your bet  Grin Grin I am not advertising guys.
You can earn loads but the chances are very low with high multipliers. With low multipliers there is a bigger chance but then you wont make much money. Real moneymakers are the casino owners to be honest.

I've seen websites accepting even 99900x. The problem is that they're accepting it, but it would take YEARS to win that amount from their faucet.
4225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: September 24, 2016, 09:56:21 PM
legit, if ppl who gamble wanted to gamble, they shud know its road to lose journey
Yup we ended always as loser but if you can save your profit right after you lose maybe you can save your entire life in gambling playing smart in gamble website can really make us profit everyday or every month i gamble once a month and never tried make ot twice dont want to be addicted to it 😁

Save the profit AFTER they lose? That isn't even possible. Even saving the profit before losing is impossible because you never know when it happens. Lucky people became rich from this just because of their luck, not because they knew when to stop.
4226  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 24, 2016, 09:54:43 PM
Bitcoin is not so popular in my country, But  have started a lot of people who know about bitcoin And I can say that it is a good indication that bitcoin will be popular in my country.

Without people actually implementing Bitcoin in their business, it's never going to be popular. We can't just sit here and wait for more people to find about it, but seeing 'Bitcoin Accepted Here' all around you will make you think about it.
4227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to make money on bitcointalk without campaigns on: September 24, 2016, 07:31:54 AM
facebook and twitter campaigns are a good way to earn some money and there are many ICO listed which i think could reap some revenue if you could invest and learn to get out at a proper time

He said without campaigns. Services is another option for him, if he wants to do some jobs he can do for free money. But make sure you aren't going to be scammed there.
4228  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is best smartphone? on: September 23, 2016, 08:42:19 PM
I've been using my LG Nexus 5X for over four months now. I never had a single problem with it, even when it comes to multitasking.. It's just perfect. I prefer LG and HTC over all the others though.
4229  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 23, 2016, 08:18:02 PM
At the current state, I think it's now easier to build a time machine, to go back in 2009, rather than hoping to become a millionaire buying BTC at this time.

Lol nobody got rich buying money, unless they were traders. If you want to become a millionaire you have to know that, if you aren't the chosen one to become a millionaire overnight, it'll take some time. A long time until you reach your goal.
4230  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how many captchas did you solve till now? on: September 23, 2016, 08:08:06 PM
O man...
I think I did more, a lot more.
Just for the MRAI rush I was doing more than  1000 a day  Roll Eyes for like 8-10 days...
Before that I made 0.3BTC from ePay's faucets, that's have to translate in to more than 300K captchas solved. Not to mention some random claims from faucetbox, so roughly that can be around half of a freaking million captchas. And what about those not related to bitcoin? Its better not to think of all that time lost in solving this THING.

Woah, in how much time have you got all these hundreds of thousands completed? I thought and still am thinking it's simply a time waster as you're not getting too much off them. For Indians and people coming from other countries, however.. It's like a dream to get that much an hour. Respect to you!
4231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2016, 08:05:49 PM
He would never want himself to be revealed. Why? Because he has created something that is amazing for us but the enemy for governments: privacy. It's not the privacy we're thinking at right now anymore, they want it to be in their hands, to be controlled.
4232  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: September 23, 2016, 08:04:02 PM
There are multiple possible methods, I myself use signature campaigns to gain some profit, with my other bitcoins I really do nothing else than holding. I think holding right now is one of the best things you can do because of the fact that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount.

Creating your own online casino can be an amazingly good business to begin with if you got enough money. With a good security and a 100% legit website, you can attract visitors that will make your living.
4233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Loss Ever. on: September 23, 2016, 07:55:10 PM
That's over $10k, which is a lot for me. Next time try not to be so greedy. The problem is that you're going for Martingale, which is also known as Martinfail. You will never win from it unless you're REALLY lucky. Better luck next time.
4234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: September 23, 2016, 07:53:36 PM
Bitcoin to me is Hundred percent better compare paypal. Paypal in Nigeria don't accept  withdrawal no mater the amount you have. Bitcoin come to solve that problem for us.

In my country, we don't have many (2) ATMs for Bitcoin. And the ones we have are far away from me, which means it's hard for me to get my money. The gas money would cost more than I would actually withdraw from the ATM.. That doesn't make PayPal superior though. Bitcoin is way better from many other perspectives too, like the impossibility to refund the money.
4235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WORST decision about BTC on: September 19, 2016, 04:39:18 AM
Trying to "multiply" about $100 through PrimeDice. Big, big mistake. I'm just happy I didn't lose it all (lost about $30), but I was one step away from it. Never play gambling for easy cash! This happened about one year ago though. Another bad decision I regret is when I bought some games off Xbox. The BTC price was $250 and a few weeks later it went up to $600 if I remember....

Well why you regret when you have bought the xbox games for small value of bitcoin? And I guess that is a good one of investments, you can sell it again for the same amount of bitcoin valuing higher because the price is already $600. I don't get it why you are regretting buying that at low price or else my understanding is not at all.

I didn't buy them for a small value, this is why I regret it. The Bitcoin price was low ($250), so $60 was about the double of how much I would've spent if I would have bought them weeks later.
4236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: September 19, 2016, 04:35:02 AM
I've been stopped from gambling because tired or lose my money through gambling
and then on short time because i'm curious . I'm back to gamble again , but when i have good mood and have enough money.

Good to know that you are already stopped playing gambling because this don't give us really benefit on our entire day i might lose our bitcoin or money for nothing instead of holding them for our future purposes use like we gonna buy something new to use it t-shirt etc , that we could use for daily living.
that is true, you could atleast buy things like shirt ,sneakers etc with every single bet you make, but then it is just fun hoping you could win more or having the ability to foresee sporting events,i am sure who ever watches sports will predict or have an idea who is going to win the match,i just enter thoughts with real money Grin. i have being away from gambling for the past three weeks, offcourse after heavy losses ,but considering major whales are back and active here i am having a thought to start again ,may be with less amount, lets see  Wink

You can gamble with your own money, but the big lie everyone's pronouncing is 'I lost because the website is rigged' no. You're usually losing because the websites are meant to get you greedy and lose. Always manage your money and try not to play even with a cent more than you can afford.
4237  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: September 19, 2016, 04:27:43 AM
Should I believe in Bitcoin ?
I have 10k $ and maybe going to buy  , but I doubt the further development of Bitcoin and I'm afraid to lose money! Can you convince me or dissuaded from buying?
In order to invest the money somewhere else, a person studies the market. If this applies to bitcoin really projections suggest good growth rates, but it really is a risk. If you are brave man, then you are lucky.

Studying first the market is really required if you are going to start some investments with bitcoin. And not even the market, but bitcoin itself so that it can get your trust. And that is why you need to believe in bitcoin because of its market today is really huge and I can say that everyday it keeps on increasing.

If you're going for trading, it means you're already trusting it. Trading = risking. As Bitcoin is part even of the Bloomberg TV Channel and many other business ones, I can't see a reason not to trust it.

4239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: September 18, 2016, 08:46:14 PM
Gambling wasn't made for kids. Kids are supposed to be learning the fundamentals of life so when they grow up, they'll know how to survive in this world. But still, that doesn't change the fact that there are minors out there gambling in various sites. It's really easy to say that you're 18+ years old on the Internet because they are usually not looking for proof.

Kids should not be allowed to gamble if you ask me. Being inexperienced will make it hard for them to make good predictions on how much they can earn or even now when to stop.
Probably a lot of kids will make big bets losng even more money.

They can gamble with free accounts. It's not required (and legal) for them to play on real accounts. It mostly means a loss for them as they are just playing with a number.
4240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: September 18, 2016, 08:45:13 PM
Trading should definitely be considered as gambling as the chances of predicting the outcome is low and this in turn is risky for the trader
You lose some You win some  Undecided

If you are trading blindly or ignoring the charts and the market, then you can consider it a gamble with a low chance of winning. But if you study the charts and the market, then your trades will probably win and make you some profits.  Gambling does not have that, only press the button and pray you win.

Correct, trading without any knowledge would be like the same as gambling but same as you said if you do consider the charts and market news related to it then for sure you might gain a profitable trading but it's not a guarantee since we can't really make consecutive winning trades because as we know price volatility.

I traded once without any knowledge (with free accounts on my phone) and lost all within 15 minutes. Grin I didn't even know what the buttons would do on the app. You really do need knowledge for trading, but it's still riskier than actually having a business.
