4221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the the reason why Bitcoin price will go down and not up long term on: June 20, 2019, 09:28:14 PM
You sent a transaction 45 minutes ago with a fee of 103 Sat/B which according to bitcoinfees.earn.com - this should take no more than 25 minutes to confirm, and nonetheless despite you paid a large fee and more than the recommended fee amount - it's still unconfirmed:

Bitcoin will never be instant, and that's why people won't use it long term. In our dynamic world things need to be fast and instant.
Let us take this transaction and say that you are doing an international transaction worth over million dollars, how much will it cost you including bank transaction, forex conversion charges and other service charges and the time it will take to carry on that deal, i can bet it will be far more than you are spending for a transaction in bitcoin and this simple case is more than enough for every international trader to adopt bitcoin in the long term.
I accept that bitcoin is not a good platform for small transaction but that is not the case with international transactions.
4222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: June 20, 2019, 09:07:50 PM
people say trading seems to be stressful.  Is it?  I mean, all you are doing is looking at the btc price... it either goes up , down or stays around the same.  Its not like you have to analyze it daily or something... do you agree?  Now let say its altcoins... that would seem like ton of work because you have to research all the coins.  And those coins have high fluctuations no where compared to bitcoin.
I would say that day trading is a stressful venture in any financial market, everyone who invested money in any financial sector will look for profit and not for its novelty, if you are blind trading then the risk is really high and that is the case with day trading and the safest mode of trading is always buying the coin when the market is down and holding for the long term, less stressful but if you trust that the market will go up eventually you will end up in a profit.

So if you trade, should you only trade bitcoin?  Or bitcoin and other big name coins like litecoin, etc?  Should you avoid any coin that is not in the top 20 for example?
If there is a great project with a great reputable team then i would not care if the coin is listed in the top traded coins, but if you look at the market rarely you would see great projects.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Tom Cruise - UFC Fight on: June 20, 2019, 08:41:49 PM
Would love to see it happen. The announcement kinda reminded me of MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch Grin.
Time please  Tongue
I would request drugs test for Justin kiddo and it is ok to omit its result until he gets beaten by an adult (if ever this event will take place) then we can discover what is the type of drug that made him suddenly a man  Roll Eyes
All the party drugs in the world and a hell lot of booze and he might be watching some fight clips and suddenly Justin kiddo came to a realization that he is much tougher than the rest of the celebrities and someone in his friends circle who watched Jack Reacher or Mission Impossible recently said Tom Cruise is a tough guy and hence Justin started calling out Cruise for a real fight Cheesy Cheesy.
4224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: June 20, 2019, 07:49:47 PM
Only professionals can enjoy trading as entertainment but beginners and traders with intermediate knowledge cannot make it to big too early. A time will come when they will have shown progress in their trade but only those who remain consistent.
If you are dealing with money even with the so called professionals it is not a joke as they are dealing with their hard earned money, entertainment will come if you got a lot of money without hard work then you will see every trade as entertainment. There are many individuals in the cryto market that earned a huge amount of coins in the initial phase mining solely with their laptop and they earned ten thousand of coins and for them trading might be an entertainment but that cannot be said with everyone who entered the market at a later time  Wink.
4225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: June 20, 2019, 05:23:44 PM
LTC is a well established asset and with the upcoming halving event and exciting new privacy features to be announced soon its unlikely to lose much value and instead potentially increase moderately so just invest when it represents good value
Charlie Lee the creator of Litecoin sold all of his holdings when the price reached an all time high because he did not trust his own creation and if you think that it is an well established asset to hold, then consider the risk involved in it too. As long as people are interested in Litecoin they will trade as long as the developers keep on updating the software but the main issue is that how long they will be doing is the biggest question. I am not against Litecoin but wanted everyone who wanted to invest in it who are new to the platform must understand the truth and then make a decision whether to invest in it or not.
4226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 20, 2019, 04:16:05 PM
what is the website where you are betting ? and How can you cashout before the end result of the match ?
By the way, Bangladesh are batting well but the target is too big.
You can cash out if you think that the bet is not going your way in sportsbet.io . It is a really good option and it is a common process on fiat based gambling sites and hopefully all the site will include that option.
Bangladesh might be playing well but the target is just too much for any team to chase.
Tomorrow we have yet another one sided match between England and Sri Lanka. It is going to be another trashing win for England Cheesy.
4227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 20, 2019, 02:56:40 PM
South Africa’s team management is to be blamed for their debacle as their decision of not taking Ab De Villiers, has completely backfired on them as his experience would have helped them win many matches.
The excuse they have for not allowing AB De Villiers in their world cup squad is that, he wished his desire to be in the world cup team just before the announcement of the squad and it would hurt the morale of the team if they include a player who was not in the picture for a long time, ABD is the worlds best player even now and he has every rights to be in any world eleven with his sheer talent alone and if he was included in the team they will not be in the same situation like this, this is by far the worst performance by team South Africa in ICC tournaments.
4228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: June 20, 2019, 02:00:33 PM
BNB is worth to look now. If OP bought it, maybe he will get profit especially with some ICO that success in Binance, will really make their coins can be very famous get more demand and increased in price.
The free days of pumping and dumping the coins are almost over, with the authorities interfering in the business of Binance, they had to forcefully ban the users from US and to comply with strict KYC and AML procedures to allow users to trade and we will see more regulations being put forward for these exchanges and the wild days of fake trading volumes and washing will be gone in the next three years and then you might not see these coins moving up, so making money while you can is not an issue, but be careful planning to hold for the long term.
4229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain technology is changing the world on: June 20, 2019, 01:05:53 PM
blockchain and cryptos are both tandem because one cant stand out or exist if one is missing  . so the credit should goes to the both of them
Looks like you misunderstood block chain and cryptocurrency and its functions, block chain is a list of records which is linked cryptographically and Satoshi invented block chain to use it as a public ledger for bitcoin so that the issue of double spending will be sorted, so block chain have different functions and it is one of the biggest invention in the world, hope you understand the difference between them.
4230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 20, 2019, 12:39:35 PM
You see the odd?
I may even cash out at some point If I see there are any chance.
The odds are really juicy but the way in which the Australians are batting they are posed to score well over 350 runs and with wickets in hand i expect them to score close to 370 runs and there is no way that Bangladesh will chase those runs, West Indies had a bad bowling line up and that is not the case with Australia and i will be surprised if Bangladesh score well over 300 runs chasing. Smiley
4231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uncertainty, Political Chaos = More Bitcoin Buying on: June 20, 2019, 11:05:12 AM
Indian government announced demonitisation of all bank note of ₹500 and ₹1000 back on November 8 2016 and gave window of period to everyone to exchange their old notes with new note. This was the huge blow to the opposition political party as there were series of scams were exposing against their party and most of the corrupt politicians and businessman used Bitcoin to turn their black money into white as they had knowledge about Bitcoin or heard from some of their friends. One of my friends client invested ₹2500K($36765) in cash and purchased 30BTC by paying more than the market price.
If someone used bitcoin to wash their money it would have a paper trail that could be tracked back to the person who invested in it, to purchase big amount they will either go to exchanges to purchase that and since all of the exchanges functioned with proper KYC policy it is not a difficult task to track everyone if they wanted and the notion of bitcoin being used to launder money is just an excuse.
People will invest in bitcoin for its use case and not for illegal activities.
4232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Tom Cruise - UFC Fight on: June 19, 2019, 05:48:14 PM
He's definitely a beta, just because he has learned to fly a chopper and do some martial arts doesn't mean he's some "best alpha male specimen" Dude is an actor, he's fake, don't think he's some super spy because he isn't.
This is exactly my sentiment, doing martial arts for fitness and doing it to fight another martial artist or to do it to fight in a competitive aspect is a different story altogether  Cheesy. Tom Cruise is a tough guy who does his own stunts without a body double and Justin Bieber is a junkie musician even if they fight inside a gym Cruise could fold him into a prexel even though he is double his age  Cheesy Cheesy.

@ OP UFC will not allow these sort of stupid fights but it might happen in Rizin Japan  Tongue , so i advice you to change the title  Grin.
4233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 19, 2019, 04:14:14 PM
New Zealand had been pretty good this tournament and 242 is a below average target. South Africa is nearly out of the tournament and New Zealand is still unbeaten. But again you can't ignore the bowling lineup of SA, New Zealand are already one down and below the required run rate. New Zealand just need to stick along to win this game.
I hope they'd not make me regret for my 1.5  odds bet on them.
Considering the pitch it is not a sub par total as even New Zealand is also struggling to score runs freely but the important factor here is that they are not loosing any wickets and if they play carefully then they could reach the target without much struggle and i would like to see how they are going to face an attacking spinner like Imran Thahir and he is yet to bowl and if NZ players could tackle him well, then there is nothing to worry for New Zealand as they will reach the target comfortably.
4234  Local / India / Re: Lets assume the worst. What's next? on: June 19, 2019, 03:35:06 PM
I don't think there will be jail term for holding or mining,  but trading they can impose, because holding or mining there is no way govt can find we are doing this.
For trading if you have enough crypto, you can go outside India and sell there and back to India and pay taxes on crypto earning.
If you have the capacity to go abroad and sell your crypto currency then why you want to pay your taxes back home for the earnings as it is not even permitted to earn a profit let alone hold your coins. Bitcoin gives us the protection to mask our identity if you are not dealing with any exchanges inside your country who comply with all the KYC and AML procedures and hence there is nothing to worry about someone identifying you with just your wallet address.
4235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency are gonna disappear on: June 18, 2019, 10:47:41 PM
It is true that there is a distinction between the blockchain and cryptocurrency, but to suggest that cryptocurrencies will disappear is not a very intelligent statement, there is no better way of tokenizing an asset than the blockchain and that creates your crypto, increasingly being supported by more businesses,we are going to have more of cryptos
I am not sure if he said that bitcoin will disappear, but i am in his side when it comes to the rest of the coins in the market, most of them will disappear in ten years time but saying the entire billion dollar market is just stupidity, the funny thing is that all the old people who does not have any idea about technology has their opinion and views about bitcoin, i bet he does not understand anything about bitcoin and rather struggling to understand how a coin created in the online has this much value. Grin
4236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB the new ETH killer on: June 18, 2019, 09:42:54 PM
Edit: While the topic may confuse some, I'm not talking about on a product level, I'm more concerned about the price actions. Like it or not, most cryptocurrencies lack utility, to say the least; still, their price actions have been impressive, and for now, the easiest way to know the healthy states of cryptocurrencies in comparison with one another is through market capitalization (whether or not wash trades are involved), else we won't be talking about 'moons', 'bulls' and 'bears'.
Since you are only talking about price, then you might make a quick profit if you are investing in it but i am not certain how long they will survive and will not trust the coin in the long term, the problem with almost all of the alt coin market is that they are used to pump and dump and there is no real case utility and with exchanges starting their own coin might be used to wash trade and with the recent exit of binance from the US market all shows one thing, these coins are not meant for the long term, just make your profit and get out and trust only bitcoin for the long term.
4237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So it is happening..facebook coin Libra on: June 18, 2019, 09:19:14 PM
now we use facebook as a media for the promoting crypto related projects.but every one knows about the facebook coin 'Libra' .as a expert of this field what you about the involving of the facebook to virtual currencies??
will  it be  help for the  bitcoin to going up??
I was seeing the name Libra in bitcoin discussion thread and i was wondering what in the hell was that, just now came to know that it is the name of a centralized coin from a company who does not bother about the privacy of their users  Grin. I am not particularly interested to invest in it, but Mark Zuckerberg has some political contacts around the world especially in third world countries and these countries are finding it difficult to understand the market and if he starts that, he might be able to convince the leaders of those countries about the virtual market and we could expect a positive in that aspect, only time will tell what is his vision about Libra.
4238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 18, 2019, 07:10:59 PM
Btw, I didn't know that so many countries are playing cricket now, that's amazing. Maybe in future we will see 32 team world cups, any thoughts?
There are many countries playing cricket and they are conducting tournaments between these assiciate countries for a long time and with the introduction of T20 cricket we might see more countries participating in the T20 world cup in the future but not in ODI or Test cricket, the level of talent pool in the top teams in internaional cricket which is ICC full member teams and Associate teams cannot be compared, these associate members usually play in qualifying tournaments before every ICC events and if they qualify they can play in world cup and other ICC events.
4239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries on: June 18, 2019, 06:26:27 PM
Well, the story about ban in India isn't over yet and it's still isn't clear how the whole situation will be solved. So, don't conclude in advance.
That is the truth, the situation in India is not clear and the news that hit the market were all click baits, there is a proposed bill and there is no confirmation whether it can be passed as a law.

By now experiences have told us that bans never brought anything good but also didn't prevent people from doing something. The same will be with Bitcoin, users will find their way. Ban might influence Bitcoin in negative way but it will not destroy it, such presumption is exaggerated.
Banning the market is not a solution to anything and people will find a way to trade and once the government understands that a outright ban will take the market underground rather than scaring people with these proposed bills, they will find a way to sort out the issue that will not hurt the investors and even if India or China bans bitcoin there will be no influence in the entire market.
4240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 17, 2019, 08:25:32 PM
Jeez, guys, Bangladesh is heading towards an easy win. Here go our 2 points in competition  Tongue I must add here that, very poor bowling from Windies, let's say pathetic and damn that's class chase from Bangladesh. Bengali tigers are real fighters, Shakib is the real beauty and should be man of the match.
One of the best performance from Bangladesh, i know they had some wonderful performance in world cup history but this is by far the best chase by Bangladesh in ODI, West Indies was bowling short all the time and they did not have a clue where to bowl and Shakib Al Hasan is the best all rounder in world cricket and they missed a catch which was the turn around in this match, if they took that catch then West Indies could have put more pressure but they failed to do so.
I lost the bet today as i thought West Indies will put up a good score and Bangladesh will find it difficult to chase, but they failed to capitalize on the start they got and ended up short and lost the match  Roll Eyes.
