4221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coin to watch out for this year 2020. on: April 13, 2020, 11:20:01 AM
If there is a bull run this year, there is no doubt that these coins you mentioned will be a success.
At the start of the 2020, we already face a big economic problem but let's hope it will not affect the future of crypto and hopefully this pandemic will be contained soon.

With this pandemic still here, the future is uncertain as there is no reason why people has to invest when they are worried of their future.
maybe crypto are not affected so much with this, but at some point it will be affected.
4222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 03:14:04 PM
Casinos will be heavily affected, and even after the lock down, there income will still gonna reduce as it will take time until the world will be back to normal again. the government lose money because their main source is taxes,, without the companies earning big profit, they can't generate tax and as a result the country will struggle.

Now, to these workers asking for salary during shutdown, I guess this needs to be reviewed properly, they can't just ask anything when it's not part of their agreement, and the fact that no one games in this situation, workers has to also understand their employers.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: April 10, 2020, 02:43:59 PM
Yeah we should, it's not a good way of earning money. If we want to earn money then we should be practical on our actions and make an assurance that you'll grow your money. You can make a business, or invest in something that can help with your growth.
Gambling is a high risk way of making money, this is not for everyone, only few people are successful with investing in gambling, investing in the sense that they are gambling for a living.

Gambling was probably occurred due to the satisfaction of winning and expect to gain more.
It's safe to say it's for entertainment only, winning and gaining more is just like a personal aim, it would vary from person to person.
Some would just want pure entertainment and they are ready to lose their money as they can afford to lose it.

I keep myself update with this kind of valuable information.
4225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $160, after a +11% gainer in the last 24 hours on: April 10, 2020, 11:55:56 AM
at this time there has not been such a good development regarding ethereum other than because it is supported by bitcoin.
Agree with that, no hype for the eth 2.0 yet and maybe the team is not sure if they will release it this year.

currently, the price is approaching the range of $ 150 because it is caused by a decrease in the price of bitcoin which again touched the price of $ 6k. however, with this, I think recovery still gets some problems.
Which market you are looking? Currently, I am seeing that ETH is already price over $150, and that is when it dump a bit.

4226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: April 10, 2020, 11:31:41 AM
maybe the price of bitcoin will not fall to 3000$ if coronavirus does not occur because all markets fall when coronavirus exists, see all markets fall when coronavirus is there so all markets fall influence from coronavirus
It will just make the market strong,.. we did see it fall but it bounce back and the price now is already at $7200 and it simply says it has recovered from falling. Cypto market now is the most attractive market to invest with now that stocks are down, these investors should result to increase the value of bitcoin in the long run and I would say in advance that we will have a good year this year.
Nothing is assured when we do talk about the future. We cant be sure if we would have a good year but at least we have seen that
the price is starting to recover which came from sudden dump when corona virus issue comes out.We cant even tell if we would able to hold up
7k levels and would shoot up even more.Come to think that we do even believe that we will reach 14k usd and up when price is tanking on 10k
back before and then the market dumps unexpectedly thats why im not really hoping that much as long i do see some gains then
it would already be fine for me.
Being conservative is good, crypto market has been trying to pump but bitcoin is not successful, now we are dump below $10,000 and we need to rise again back to that price to see a new hype in the market again. At the start of the year, people were so optimistic but then this pandemic happens, hackers dumping huge BTC, it resulted to a temporary dump, and you are right we are no assure of anything but we just have to trust our instinct here.
4227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: April 10, 2020, 10:32:11 AM
It is clear that the purpose of unfinished projects that are launched on the market is to trick potential investors. We do not have to take the risk to invest in such projects. There are many completed projects, which started it were real projects, but over time it turned into SCAM projects, due to the greed of the project team. One such case is the MiracleTELE project. So what claims can we have as investors for unfinished projects? I do not recommend investing in such projects.
The problem is we need so many awareness to make sure the newcomers will not be trapped on such scam project. I have seen so many newbies were getting trapped caused by they didn't know where is and how to get the best awareness or at least the result of analyzation about the project.
All the information can be seen online, they just need to based on a lot of sites and not limit the information they will look on one site only.
Newbie will most likely fall as victim of scam, but if they will investigate or research hard enough, they can prevent that, they don't need to make mistakes and learn from it, they can learn from other people's mistake which I'm sure we can find a lot testimonies and feedback online.
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: April 10, 2020, 08:13:14 AM
In my opinion the gamblers who opt to quit after many negative consequence are right as they at least will not suffer any more even they will lose the possibility of finding good effects in future.
Exactly,  quitting is not bad if you feel you have no chance of winning in gambling anymore.

For some of us, we aim to win consistently but then we will try a lot of method, experiment it if its working but in the end, we just have to accept if we really can't win because every time we gamble it's our hard earned money that is at risk.

Based on my experience, I did not quite because I am challenge so I continue finding ways to win but I learn from my experience which is the discipline that I have now.
4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 10, 2020, 07:51:49 AM
I don't mind it too, but we are talking of a possible return but we don't have an idea when this virus will be contain.
That's really the big problem, we can't estimate when the NBA will resume when there is no cure for this pandemic yet.
I mean when people are worried about the situation, they don't think of something that will entertain them, they pay more attention on the news.

US accusing China reproducing the virus as bio chemical attack to them but they never talk about the cure of the virus.
It's a war between this two country..unfortunately, other countries are affected, and thus far, China won the war.
4230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: April 09, 2020, 11:07:30 PM
People with such kind of habits will never choose gambling like platforms for their entertainment because they are like living based on calculating their income so they will give that amount to saving rather than spending. But if you are a regular gambler and betting on different games, different websites then you should keep track on the wins and losses or else you may keep losing money even without your knowledge.
Right, I also think that the people who are cautious about their losses stay full of defense by being extra careful on each of their wager on their bets. They are the type of people who chose to gamble for money. It's hard to be a person like this because if you lose you will have a grudge to earn back your loses and can possibly turn into more mess b losing more.
It's not gonna happen if you have the discipline, yes everyone who aim for money in gambling will always try to win back their loses and be profitable, but there is always a limit,  especially on the bankroll management and they will have to improve their strategy by correcting their mistakes as they won't be able to be profitable without consistency.
4231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 09, 2020, 10:49:32 PM
If it's an online casino you don't need to wait until the very least thing is infected. All I need is zero new cases increased recovery and low or complete no death rate. I would be very ok with that
If you want, you still can gamble during this outbreak but it seems not a wise decision. Except you have millions of dollars, you still can do everything online, including playing gambling. But most people must prioritize their funds for urgent needs now. Yes, I agree, at least wait until the progress of the cases getting less and less. And we have already got the cure around the world. This will begin to improve world's economy, then you can consider gambling if you have extra money for it.
You don't need a million dollar to enjoy gambling now, just limit your gambling funds, if you are not a high roller, you can already enjoy gambling at least 10 usd per day, and whatever happens, just call it a day, and then gamble the next day, .. just stay discipline all the time so it will not wipe out all your savings.
4232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: April 09, 2020, 01:20:32 PM
Your definition of trading of most likely the same, As you said in investing you are going to hold for a long time and most likely trading a short time? For me, both are the same and called "trading" it just categorized on Long term and short term trading.
Trading is more like day trading where you are playing with the price volatility, while investing could be short term or long term holding of coins while waiting for the right opportunity to sell.

And Investing for me sounds like investing in ICO/IEO or any platform that you can gain profits but not doing anything just invest.
That's investing in crowdsale, while investing in bitcoin is still part of investing.. like people say, invest on bitcoin's future as it has a great potential.
4233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: April 09, 2020, 01:04:30 PM
Those who expect a continues group does not fully understand how adoption works.
As this market is still new, we can't expect a continues growth and crypto are speculative asset so people are betting on it, there are people who like the price to dump while there are people who like the price to pump, that way the price being volatile will give them more opportunity to trade.

If we like to see a continues growth, maybe that would happen when there is already a full adoption.
4234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run top 5 Alts for 2020. on: April 09, 2020, 10:12:09 AM
I hope that everything will pass and next year we'll wait for the bull run
It's still early, let us not conclude yet, the market is quite bullish now and if corona virus will be over by first half of the year, we still have the full 2nd half of the year that bitcoin could be bullish and we might see a bull run again. Just based last 2017, the bull run took place in the last quarter of the year and it does not need a lot of time to pump the market and every coin almost got its ATH, so be optimistic and keep that faith.
4235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $160, after a +11% gainer in the last 24 hours on: April 09, 2020, 09:15:19 AM
ETH is once again proving it's capability and slowly gaining the publicity. It's ready to rally again towards $180 and itseems It will go ahead, this momentum will extend significantly further.

As the indicator shows that ETH is a undervalued as the current price is above 170$ I am pretty confident the bulls are back and ready to perform again. Hopefully happy days are on the way Cheesy

I can't be happy with that price as that is still very low compared to its ATH.
ETH IIRC never reach $400 when it was dump below its ATH, so if ever ETH will at least reach $500, then I guess we should hype this again.

I don't want to expect more, but ETH pumping is impossible without bitcoin.

4237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: April 09, 2020, 06:41:28 AM
Inoue vs Casimero will be a great fight. Both boxers have a very even performance. It is very difficult to predict the winner. I would bet on Inoue but it will certainly be a stellar fight.
I am concerned that we still do not have the cure against the virus and the United States continues to increase in positive cases for Covid19.
With the current situation, the resumption of events and activities is very distant.

It's hard for us who respect both fighters capability, but for people who will just based on the betting odds, they will certainly pick Inoue as he is the heavy favorite in this fight.. if you bet on Inoue, try to review the odds also if you like the return of your winning.
4238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: April 08, 2020, 02:07:56 PM
I think now it's proven that bitcoin prices are getting further away from the $ 3k level. in fact, I think that in the near future the price of bitcoin will reach $ 7.5k and go back up to $ 8k. for now, it seems like people will continue to hold their assets. halving will probably drive up prices that exceed the price of $ 10k, so it would be very profitable if we have bitcoin when the price is still $ 6k or $ 7k

I think it is a bit early for this to say.

I know that the pandemic is not directly affecting the price of cryptocurrencies but still, with those people holding Bitcoin and might suffering in their houses could sell their Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies to be used. We don't know what might happen so I think we should better be alert on the price chart. As halving closes, the price is getting better, it might be a good sign.

I have to agree that It is too early for that to say, though Bitcoin is slowly recovering, but one big manipulation could send Bitcoin to $3,000 level again, and yes It is quite possible. It's not just the pandemic that we're worrying about, but also the whales who are constantly manipulating when they found an opportunity.
Again, Bitcoin might be holding on to this level with slight recoveries and small swings is because of the block halving.

It could happen because int he first place the market can be manipulated but as an investor, it's just right to be optimistic because our purpose here is to be profitable, at the same time, we also need to insure that are ready enough to accept in case the result is not based on our expectation.

it's also true the market is volatile, but it's been volatile ever since, we should get use to it and understand how the market move so we can make more good guesses than our wrong guesses.
4239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: April 08, 2020, 12:17:39 PM
Just check top 20 cmc if you want to find new projects to buy. Rest of them are bullshit mostly
The top 20 projects are the best in this market, but to be honest it won't make you much profit like other altcoins. We should bet a bit on the altcoins outside the top 100 because if the bull run begins its price will increase many times compared to the top altcoins.
That is not true all the time, this depends on the coin you are investing, it's not because they are already in the top 20, we can't expect some significant growth, of course we can still expect, look at xrp, it's in top 3 in the last bull run but it rise big time, and domes other coins in the top 20.

We are just guessing here and we never know what lies ahead so we need to make some good research on the coins we are investing, regardless of what rank they are now.
4240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 08, 2020, 11:55:38 AM
The main thing is the liquidity and legality of the exchange within the jurisdiction of the country in whose territory the exchange operates.
Indeed, as practice shows, nothing prevents regulators from covering up the exchange in a matter of seconds leaving users empty-handed.

Nowadays, most of the exchanges are getting into a scam based on the liquidity which they cannot manage the flow of their money and their employees. An exchange should always manage to satisfy the user problems and has ability to solve the issues when they face any crises during at the time of the hacking.

Of course, because that's what good exchange does.

Binance got hack last year but they were able to survive that hack, and they learn from that and keep improving their security.
Now, that they bought CMC, this is a good step for them to correct some information written and maybe eliminate in the list those exchanges that are not reputable, or those who are faking their volume and those who have a lot of complains.
