4241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: September 30, 2016, 03:54:13 PM
i never put all my amount from my pocket on internet because i want spend some money in real life and invest lower amount and work longer to get bigger amount because i am low risk businessman.
yes i also not  put all my assets in bitcoin, but still i can say that i have invested a good amount of my assets in bitcoin, and still like to invest more and more money in bitcoin, because to me the price of bitcoin is really going to increase in next few months.

Only somebody without a clear brain would conduct such an action. Let's face it, putting all your savings into something that risky is just not that smart.
I can only hope that nobody will do such a thing. Because when it comes to investing it is important to don't put all your eggs in 1 basket. Diversify your investment between; several types of investments; like crypto, real estate, bonds and stocks.
There are a few examples of people who've done this, even here on this forum there's a thread of someone who sold everything and bought Bitcoin with all of his savings.

Could work out for him in the long term, if he just keeps saving in fiat from what he earns through his job.
4242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating a Bitcoin Cheater on eBay/Paypal. on: September 30, 2016, 03:48:50 PM
This is a funny read on how the scammers were gamed with zero-fee transactions. It was an experiment that proves to be a success? Gaming the scammers? But also proved the skewed Paypal is always on the buyers' side.

http://forklog.net/revealed-cheating-a-bitcoin-cheater-on-ebay/

Interesting, but i don`t think that there are still people who use eBay to sell bitcoin.

Anyway,we all need tricks and tips to protect our btc from scammers.

Nice share.

Glad you enjoyed this article. I took a glimpse at eBay, and yes, there are still sellers on eBay selling bitcoins; look at the number of positive reviews they had. So, how did they evade chargebacks?

Couldn't those reviews be ones that they've made themselves just to attract more buyers?
Though, I think there might be some unknowledgeable people who still buy from these scammers, probably nor that many though.
4243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin P2P lending is dead. on: September 30, 2016, 03:18:10 PM
No one is using BTCJam seriously anymore, The P2P lending could work but would require the same difficulties needed for bank loans "i.e collateral", No collateral loans are not working anymore and that's because of scammers and the like.

P2P lending lowers the bar for lenders without good credit and possibly attracting those who may have dubious characters. There are legit reasons for P2P lending such as small business loans (since the bar for commercial loans are pretty high)
I agree that the concept itself is not inherently bad and that it could work, but there need to be more options to fight against defaults.
In cooperation with the site itself, I would say.

It's actually pretty sad that it doesn't work, because I could really see it being useful for people who don't have malicious intent that can't get a loan from a bank.
4244  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling site with faucet on: September 30, 2016, 03:11:23 PM
FastDice has the biggest faucet, followed by bitsler and then PrimeDice.
Crypto-Games.net got faucets up to 20.5k satoshi Wink

I do not see any faucet at Wealthydice.com
Aren't they a moneypot app and hence got moneypots 200 sat faucets?
I haven't looked at every dice site out there obviously, but don't you think that Crypto Games has one of the best paying, if the the best faucet out of all dice sites?

Just look at the number of times you can claim and how much, especially if you've deposited and played for a bit.
4245  Economy / Gambling / Re: Asking for best dice site for you on: September 30, 2016, 03:08:22 PM
I know someone already recommended Crypto-Games, but I'll give you my reasons too why I like it so much.
It's got a really nice interface in my opinion and compared to PrimeDice, the game is very fast.

They support around 8 coins, I believe and also have the option to exchange those coins with each other on site.

0.8% house edge, very few dice sites have one that low Smiley
4246  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is crypto-games.net down? on: September 30, 2016, 03:04:48 PM
I do hope that you can get these DDOS attacks sorted out soon, still having trouble connecting to the website.
Even on a different computer/connection, still going really slow.

I hope they will just give up after a few days, it seems like multiple Bitcoin related sites have been under DDOS and being blackmailed to make it stop.
Just saw some people complain about it on the Bitcoin Reddit :-/

4247  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Where i gone wrong? on: September 30, 2016, 02:56:03 PM
Hi
As everyone knows that i thrived many bitcoin projects and different ideas but nothing worked out for me. My last project was An exchange marketplace (INCUREX) where people can find and meet the different exchangers Bitcoin to PM etc.
This site last for only two weeks got few exchangers but no one gets online on that exchange and then people start fading away and at last time came and i had to shut down.

What possibly can be reason of its decline? I think people wasn't interested in it at all.

Maybe the reason why your business is been failed is due to lacking of exposure, and exposure is the key for any site to get some success and it cost a lot since you really need to throw away some money for advertisement so you can get more people to try it and also you need to sustain your advertisement so people would not forget to use your exchanger when they need to use some and so by that i think thats the reason why you are been failed.
I think this is probably the right answer.
I mean there are tons of businesses that basically offer the same service as each other, but there will always be enough of a market for certain things to allow multiple competitors.

It's just a matter of having decent marketing and making sure that enough people know about your business.

BTW, you could have also contacted exchangers on other sites and ask them to join your site by making them a better offer in terms of fees, or paying them to join for example. But this might be considered spamming.
4248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: September 30, 2016, 02:52:05 PM
Bitcoin was created just to get rid of PayPal, not joking really this must be one of the reason as PayPal had ruined many good businesses.
Having a trouble free currency system must be one of the inevitable demand of our modern life. Mr. Satoshi found a solution for that in the name of bitcoins.
I don't think that his exact idea was to stop Paypal specifically.
Besides, Paypal is just a symptom of the centralized banking industry as a whole, to which Bitcoin provides an alternative.
4249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go... Major VR porn sites accept Bitcoins next to Paypal on: September 30, 2016, 02:44:27 PM
ooooh boy.

this is gonna increase sales for sure. who would want to buy porn using paypal anyway.
I think most people wouldn't mind Paypal since it's pretty easy to get an account and hide it from your partner/family.
Credit cards are different, can't keep hiding the monthly statements that come through mail.

That said, most porn websites only offer CC payments, usually not even Paypal.
In those cases it would be quite beneficial if they would all include Bitcoin payments.
4250  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: September 30, 2016, 02:40:39 PM
yeah i would like to receive my salary in bitcoin.

Can you give an justification why would you go for it? I mean there is no point in accepting salary in bitcoins if we are unable to spend them and most of the users are facing same problem at a moment.
I think that most people would have to exchange a chunk for fiat again, just to pay for things that you can't pay for in Bitcoin.
Though I think there are even services to pay for your utility bills through Bitcoin.

https://bylls.com/ for example
4251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if...Satoshi Nakamoto suddenly burns 1 million bitcoins? on: September 29, 2016, 12:42:39 PM
I don't think that anything would happen.
Satoshis coins have not been touched since the biginning, at least as far as I know.
If you burn something nobody uses, I do not think it would have any affect on anything.

Exactly, finishing something which is not in use wont make any difference for anyone or anything, so if the bitcoins satoshi hold are not in circulation then it would really not make any difference if they are burnt or just stay where they are.
I'm not sure if it wouldn't make any difference, if that happens it would definitely show that he's alive and still has control over at least some of his addresses.
It could definitely trigger some kind of response from the market, I would think.
4252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 29, 2016, 12:38:24 PM
like everyone else said moneypot is decent but i personally suggest you to not invest into a bankroll because theres always a chance someone will win and you will lose everything.

Every gambling site always have some big whale, actuall that is a good way because when they lose we will earn money. And you know that in the end house will always win so there is no way investment in gambling site will lose because this is a long term investment so you really need to take times when you invest on their site
exactly just needed some basic understanding regarding to your investment bitcoin casinos or any house casinos always have their script or system that will generate profits the house edge itself already gave you the percentage of winnings its nice to place your investment in much reputable house even risk is big but if you survive the big whales it will be a good profits in returned.

From my personal experienced about investing to online casino, I would say that you can have peace of mind with your money being invested to them because you know that the house edge is at your advantage. However, there will always be instances that whale players will be playing and very lucky gamblers winning big profits - which means, you will be losing some profits or will be on a negative profits. However, if you just keep on investing regularly, you will be on profit at the end of the day.
You can also look for casinos that have a maximum profit per bet, I know that Crypto-Games has maximum profit per bet that's dependant on their bankroll.
That should prevent the site from losing too much bankroll.
4253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin P2P lending is dead. on: September 27, 2016, 03:48:28 PM
I've never really looked into P2P lending since it has always looked kinda sketchy and easy to abuse.
Only site I've heard of is BTCJam, and I thought there were at least some success stories there.

But this looks pretty bad indeed...
4254  Other / Off-topic / Re: I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke on: September 23, 2016, 02:07:20 PM
So this guy bought bitcoin when the price was about $450 and now that they are $600 he's broke? lol

he is a lucky person and he also saw a price of $750 in the mid of the year so he got about 80% or more profit with that bitcoins. But I think he is saying it because he have buried them and is unable to use them for his needs. He should have to keep them in his living wallet.

The problem is that we don't know how everything is right now. Perhaps he sold all his coins to secure profits. Perhaps that his coins, or the majority of it are still untouched. An update from OP would be a welcome thing here.
op last active was today , would be nice to get an update from him right? but since he is planning to save the 5 bitcoin for very long term saving in bitcoin , i guess he just keep his bitcoin underground . the 'broke' that what op means are due he has spent the whole fiat money saving to buy bitcoin and buried it. so i guess he just have a great plan Cheesy not the real broke.
Yeah, I would also like to see an update on this whenever he plans on selling or if he's already checked if it's still there :p
But it's better to wait until he takes another action, now it's just waiting that he has to do.
4255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can monkeys adopt bitcoin? The 7-step roadmap on: September 23, 2016, 01:55:22 PM
I remember someone doing something similar with a fish, but over the internet.
You could donate Bitcoin to an address and that would trigger an automated feeder to put some food in the aquarium, and you could see it on a livestream.
The donations were used to get a bigger tank.

The website is still up, but seems like they've took down the livestream.

4256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I donate with bitcoins to help syrian refugees? on: September 23, 2016, 01:49:28 PM
I googled it up and found this site:
https://donate.cubits.com
Is it trusted?
If you have any other website then please reply here.
If there isn't any way to donate in bitcoins then I would like someone to help me,I will pay you in bitcoins.
have you tried it yet ? it seems legit to me, better than doing some gambling and lost everything
Just because a website looks legit doesn't mean that it is. Just saying this in general, not for this website specifically.
Do the donations go straight to the charities listed on that website? Never heard of Cubits before, but seems like a payment gateway?

Also, look for any charity on http://www.charitynavigator.org/ to see how their funds are spent before donating.
4257  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Freebitoin.in is a fraud on: September 23, 2016, 09:23:31 AM
I've never won anything on that site. So I don not recommend it. I was playing it every hour lol even bought 5000 tickets for lottery every week but still no luck I've been on that site for more than 6 months now.
You know that 5000 tickets on freebitco.in are basically nothing, right? This round alone there have been 29 million tickets sold...

And to OP and anyone else calling fraud when they lose due to variance: gambling might not be for you
Fraud probably does exist with some dice sites, but not with the ones that have a provably fair system (one that's actually provably fair).
4258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: September 22, 2016, 10:32:38 PM
Just sharing a fun way to gamble on dice and one that will at least give you decent winnings if you're lucky.
I usually just go for low probability, high payout. So depositing 0.05 BTC for example and going after the x850 payout with 0.0001 or 0.00001 BTC bets.

Yes, I lose often but sometimes I also get lucky multiple times in a row and it's pretty fun to play like this.
Just don't spend more than you can afford to lose Smiley
4259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Australia police lay fabricated charges against me, on: September 22, 2016, 10:25:43 PM
So this is a bullshit thread, then?  The only thing I see being fabricated is OP's claim unless he provides proof to the contrary.
Just went through the post history and found this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1606431.0

Judge for yourself, he/she is not really making too much sense there
Feel stupid that I didn't check earlier before I made my other post.
4260  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: September 22, 2016, 10:19:32 PM
My family doesn't know too much about it, but at least they don't think it's a Ponzi scheme or a scam. At first, they did, but I explained it and showed them by sending some coin between wallets with Mycelium and Blockchain using the QR code. Then I instantly withdrew 40 Euros worth to my bank account and showed it, they were pretty much convinced after that Smiley

I also have a few friends that already knew what Bitcoin was, but I don't talk too much about Bitcoin with them.
