4241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Richest Man in Mexico Updates his Twitter Bio to Include Bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 10:58:54 AM

Will these steps promote mass adoption?

This recent trend of top world billionaires and CEO's of top conglomerate including #bitcoin in their twitter bio will really do a lot of good and go a long way to promote acceptance and adoption first among their closest friends, family, those who see them as business and investment mentors and also those that see them as competition.
This update further serves to say that these business giants and visionaries believe in the future of btc. It sends a strong statement to those still sitting on the fence and the critics  - "IF THESE BILLIONAIRES ARE BITCOIN BELIEVERS, WHO AM I NOT TO BELIEVE" .
4242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I messed up and feel terrible about it on: February 09, 2021, 10:33:44 AM
Well, don't fell so terrible about yourself, i wouldn't say you are the first to have made the mistake of selling your btc too quickly, i remember a story of how a friend who had 4 BTC as at 2019 sold almost all leaving only a fraction. Seeing the price value of btc right now, that my friend though still pained fully at what a great mistake he had made because he wasn't patient enough, has accepted the error and learned a lesson in patience especially when investing in crypto.
4243  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you'll do when BTC price will go down heavily and fast? on: February 09, 2021, 10:16:24 AM
At this point, I will hold because we have seen the price of bitcoin fall and then go up to set new all time highs. I do not see a dim future for the price value of btc, the future is very bright.
4244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it time to uninstall WhatsApp? on: February 09, 2021, 09:59:17 AM
Uninstalling WhatsApp now really will be something very difficult to do. WhatsApp has become almost a part of our lives as we easily keep in touch with most of our friends and family there. The WhatsApp story feature has also become a marketplace for people who run their businesses online.

Issues about privacy with Tiktok app on how on agreeing to their terms and conditions to use the app, they could obtain your personal information, you gps location, your contact list etc raised some concerns in the past. This still did not stop people from downloading and using the app. WhatsApp will not be any different.
4245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you need a big amount to win or invest big if your not a billionaire? on: February 09, 2021, 09:36:11 AM

Do we need a big amount of investment to get a big win?

In our society today, the regular order of things is that you must spend money to make money. Because of this singular trend, we find the rich getting richer and the poor without means struggling to survive.

For clarity, Imagine a scenerio where an investment plan that has a projected profit margin in hundreds of millions is brought up to two individuals, one a billionaire and the other an average Citizen. The billionaire fellow because he has the means upon consideration and analysis has found that this is a lucrative venture, he will quickly invest heavily to make the best gain. The average man on the hand on consideration has identified this also as something lucrative, but because he doesn't have the capital to take the risk to make the best gain or perhaps some other reasons, he simply shakes it off and hopes for more. Hope is not a currency for investment.

In my opinion, a big amount of money wisely invested is a sure slip for a big win.
4246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ELON MUSK >>>THE ATHEIST on: February 08, 2021, 10:35:12 PM
Often times, people who do not believe in the existence of a supernatural being (athiest) like Elon Musk, usually work very hard because they hold the strong belief that success is a product of the work and effort, dedication and planning that you put into something.
In our society today most people are just hiding behind religion to be lazy, having a belief that a spiritual force somewhere is particularly against their growth and prosperity in life. Such a mindset usually drowns the reality that we really have to put in work to get things done.
4247  Other / Serious discussion / Re: as idiots cry about 5G.. china is testing 6G on: February 08, 2021, 09:45:27 PM
The People's Republic of China has proven and demonstrated time and time again that technologically, they are some light years ahead of most countries of the world. The Chinese have a very high entrepreneural and innovative culture. The average Chinese man is very dedicated to his work and cannot find a purpose in a life without work. This particular attitude is a driving force for innovation and since this culture is the norm amongst the Chinese, China will continue to be a force to reckon with in the technological world.

4249  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Potential scam alert on: February 07, 2021, 06:22:02 PM
It is important that you are careful and not indulge in get rich quick schemes or with individuals or prospects that promise you a ridiculous amount of return monthly. There is no easy way to make money, ignore and work hard.
4250  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How did you do last year? on: February 07, 2021, 06:18:56 PM
Last year, no one in my family lost their lives, and then with the whole lockdown thing last year, there was really enough time for me to reflect on my life, improve my skills, and find out more interesting things about myself (seldf discovery). I really entered this new year with clarity in vision about what i want for myself.
4251  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How religion became a thing for the poor on: February 07, 2021, 06:07:30 PM

Christians have been made to feel they have enemies everywhere that hinders their progress.

The exact terminology i believe is that they have been made to believe that they have "spiritual" enemies that have sworn that they will never be successful in life. Lol, This is the exact reason why many spend hours in churches and religious crusades praying for someone to die somewhere and release their wealth, or for some supernatural force to propel them into unending wealth. The reality of things is that if they spend time perhaps saying a different kind of prayer, the one that is for assistance in whatever endeavour and then back it up with hard work it will bring them better solutions and financial results.
4252  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Sorry but schools are not doing enough People are not educated on: February 07, 2021, 05:46:00 PM
If one relies only on what he was taught by his teachers in school, one has gained knowledge, but is not educated. In my opinion, the proper definition and description of an educated man is one who can identify problems and deficits and by himself seek out knowledge and solutions to them. The school doesn't teach you everything because they are restricted to a curriculum, they set the pace for you, but it left to you to decide whether to continue to educate your mind or simply take what you have been given and rot.
4253  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Your challenges will go away soon, don't worry too much on: February 07, 2021, 05:39:25 PM
The sooner we come to the realisation that challenges are a part of life, the better for us. As a popular saying goes, there is no rest for man, until he rest in peace. It will be delusional to believe there will be a time when we will be challenge free in life. As we solve one challenge and make progress from one stage in life, one should realise that in his moment of celebration, another challenge is preparing to come his way. It is always best we pray for the strength and grace to handle the challenges that will come our way, because they will surely come.
4254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Acquiring bitcoin: "Buy" vs "Convert" on: February 07, 2021, 05:29:08 PM
My thoughts are, since bitcoin is considered as many as digital gold, and gold is considered an asset, and we acquire assets, it is fair to say that we "buy" bitcoin.
4255  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: February 07, 2021, 05:25:51 PM
Higher education is an optional stage of education, although not considered important to many, its important cannot be overstated. Higher education exposes and brings your mind and consciousness to a higher level of thinking and comprehension. Someone who has had a proper higher education with good exposure speaks, thinks and does things differently than someone who hasn't. Higher education is not a thing of degree to me and it is not restricted to ones course of study, higher education is a thing of exposure and expanding the boundaries of your mind, thinking and doings.
4256  Other / Meta / Re: Why my posts are deleted on: February 07, 2021, 05:01:13 PM
I recently had a post of mine deleted as well, an email notification was sent to me stating that it was an off topic post. I have made my research and i have a better understanding that every content you give out has to be meaningful and every reply has to be post related. I used my example so that you first understand that this is not peculiar to you and that the moderator has nothing against you in particular. If the moderator views your posts as off topic posts, the moderator will delete it.
4257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: February 07, 2021, 04:37:53 PM
Two friends of mine who jointly invested in a coin that recently had its market value suddenly rise where very excited by their sudden profit. One brought up the notion that they should sale and quickly get their gain, the other, although not so sure said it was better to hold it that it had a good market projection rate. The other not too sure about his opinion followed the other person to sale at the profit they had made. Some fews days later the coin gained more and the two of them that sold their coins already making a little profit where not happy because they could have made more. The entire point of this example is to say that patience is key when trading and investing, don't buy what you cannot hold for long.

4259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The largest and most active cryptocurrency community online on Reddit. on: February 07, 2021, 02:34:21 PM

What do you think about this community?

I think this community will be particularly helpful to some who are very interested in the concept of crypto but do not know where to begin to source for knowledge. It is normal to feel intimidated whenever you are in the midst of people who have an inept knowledge of a field or topic that we have little or limited knowledge about. I This community levels the playing field and brings both beginner and Master closer.
4260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an investment on: February 07, 2021, 02:16:08 PM
Bitcoin is a good way to invest your money. In recent time, bitcoin has been attributed and identified by many as digital gold i.e just as the normal physical gold is good for investment, so also is the digital gold (bitcoin) good for investment as well. The question then arises, "how long are you willing to hold your investment in bitcoin once made.
