4241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling issues? Read this! on: June 20, 2020, 08:10:13 AM
An addicted gambler will be very difficult to stop even they have visited or called that kind of professionals or help services. it is like what happens to addicted smokers, they will be very hard to stop if they have no certain issues and urgent things to do. It may be very hard to do.
moreover in gambling, many people use this as one of their income, so stopping from gambling means that they lose their income. Whereas, they are always willing to win and get much and much money. Although in fact, we don't know how much they have spent and how much they earned.
it will depend on its individual to stop gambling or enjoy its addict.
Yeah right, basically it's all back to himself, because if the gambler himself doesn't have the determination to stop then whatever effort he does, I'm sure it will only be useless. But indeed, gamblers who have overstepped their bounds or have dared to sell property or involve their families in gambling issues, then as much as possible gamblers like this must get more serious assistance at all times, because to prevent something worse it must be forced.

I hope I can find a story of a gambler who have sold his property get back on track. All the gamblers who have involved their family and in extreme cases their wife(not kidding) have had the worst possible ending to their life.I hope that we never see such situations and gamblers should seek help as soon as possible in their first stage of their addiction otherwise things can roll in an unmanaged matter.

Maybe there are few but they might sold their property and will not recover again.
Gamblers who are addicted with gambling will never stop, they will only stop when they lose everything, and though we don't want that but that is the reality.

It's a disease that could make a person from rich to homeless, so we need to be careful and the most important is for us to know how to control ourselves and be responsible all the time, it look easy to follow but some gamblers really struggle.
4242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 20, 2020, 05:20:37 AM

According to this article, it looks like Roach's statement was taken out of the context and this fight will never happen.

Interesting read here; All Talk Of A Pacquiao-GGG Fight Snuffed Out Not In This Lifetime

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum also said that Crawford is aggressively eyeing for Pacquaio as his next opponent and reading between the lines, looks like they are now working on it. Keith Thurman is also calling for a rematch and hoping he will be included on Pacquiao's list before the legend retires.

But for me, it's not about the "next" fight but "last" fight. I still want to see that Pacquaio's last match on his career will be against the monster GGG. There are probably 2-3 more fights before Pacquaio will hang his gloves. If the usual timeline will be followed, it will around 4Q2021 - 2Q2022. 42-43 years old, might too old for a 160 lbs weight caught. Each result on Pacquiao's next opponent also plays a big role if he will continue to fight.

So maybe OP can lock this thread as it seems this match is not feasible for the next coming months. Maybe open this thread again if we will see the light that there is possibility of this match. Obviously, people's choice here is still Pac. But if there will be no match, then, it is useless to talk about them.

Okay, Thanks for your suggestion, locking this thread now and will unlock it once we have some good development of this fight.

Thank you all for your comments, hopefully this will be realized soon. Grin

Slowly the world will shift into digital currency and bank will lead that with the support of the government as they are monitored and supervised by the central bank. However, we need not to be excited yet as digital currency has many forms, we are in the cryptocurrency and there's no statement in the link provided that it's related to cryptocurrency, maybe in the future but we don't know yet.
4244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 19, 2020, 10:52:13 PM
Your life was never in any danger. Not in a danger from this pandemic at least.

If you're not over 60 years old you have nothing to fear and if you are there's no reason why you should go gamble in a casino. Rent out a boat and go fishing or something and have one less thing to worry about.

It's good they're opening casinos. Every person should measure their own risk and be able to choose. I'm tired of the government choosing for me.

Children as young as thirteen have died after contracting Covid-19.  Your statement is factually not true.  I'll stop short of saying it is a lie, but it is seriously incorrect.

I agree with Timelord2067, in our country, 60 years old are required to stay at home and children 18 below are also treated the same, maybe they have weaker immune system so the authorities required them to stay at home.
4245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 19, 2020, 02:20:51 PM
Truly, Klay Thompson is one of the underrated players in the league.
Look at this article trying to dissect him.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/should-the-warriors-consider-trading-klay-thompson-the-dilemma-of-ending-one-dynasty-to-pursue/
A need to be in Top 15 players just for the 5 year contract to be worth it?
No, I don't think so.
He had contributed a lot for the Warriors team and mostly when Steph Curry is out he is the offensive weapon.
And let us not forget how good his defense is. He worked so hard for it.

I agree that Klay Thompson is an underrated player, he is not very useful if Curry is injured, even at times when Curry will struggle, Klay Thomponson is always ready to fill the some points Curry not able to contribute.

I remember one of their classic game when they come are down 1-3 against the OKC and they come back to win the series.

I'm using brave browser, I think it's almost a year already but when I decided using it, it wasn't because of the factors mentioned in the OP, I was just using it because it block ads and it's faster compared to using google chrome, that's just based on my experience.

Also, just lately I noticed that advertisements already appear when I'm watching youtube videos, it looks like a google chome to me now.

This thread is interesting though, it's more technical about the project but I'm here to watch it.
4247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 18, 2020, 10:51:49 PM
He is not going to do that as he already blame that costume in his recent loss, if he lose again in this fight, he might find another excuse but no way fans will still believe in him, that's 2 excuses in a row,lol..

I'm really hoping it's a different fight compared to the last one, no more excuses and both boxer has to be a man and accept defeat whoever lose in this fight.

Wilder wearing a heavy costume again? No way

Wilder finding a different excuse for his loss that is not his fault? Yes way

1 month till the fight, and according to Fury Instagram, he is still having his last day at home due to lockdown. It is possible to prepare for a fight in 1 month ?

Your prediction, will Wilder wear something during his walkout, or this time he doesn't plan to get tired before the fight ? Cheesy
4248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 18, 2020, 10:40:13 PM
My ATH Tongue profits after a bad reddish day yesterday.
I tried to invest in doge ~5k but pulled over after -8 doge in 1 day although it was greenish yesterday. Invested also in LTC ~0.2 then retracted it today after 1 cent gain, add doge (exchanged) to it then reinvested again 0.49 LTC. Right now after few minutes it shows /minus 0.00000095 LTC/ anyway it is just a test and will not be included in the table since it is just a short term investment and I may retract it soon. I will just update it in my next posts.

You can't expect a profit everyday or weekly, just let it sit man, casinos also lose but they have the edge so they'll still win in the long run.
I think I'm envy with your journey, I kinda think of making my own soon and I'll try as many websites as possible, lol..
4249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 18, 2020, 11:46:38 AM
Hello,

I want to start new tread about Bankera, because looks like everyone already forgot about them:)

Bankera raised USD 151.000.000 from more then 100.000 investors.

And what we have today?...complete silence here, complete silence in all social networks,blocked/muted members on chat.bankera,WR(weekly revenue share for BNK tokens holders)not paid for 10-12 weeks(even if its only 1-2eur. worth per 1 million of BNK tokens)...looks like all over for investors???
So,this was only nice fairy tale about Bank of Blockchain era=Bankera...all this only a money grab ICO?...now they have 151.000.000 and they open 6-7 new company's(with same owners) to wash collected ICO money from not regulated crypto sector into very regulated standard banking sector?
All what they did in 3 years for ICO investors(bankera loans, exchange, half done wallet)..JOKE!!!,its all just to pretend they work to keep investors happy for some time, until they able to wash money?Of course they show something with long long delays(we work hard:)),this way we cant call them Scammers or Thieves!!!They know what already 95% investors gone and not even remember Bankera, investors lost and move on....Bankera wants all 100% ICO investors/contributors disappear and they move from crypto to standard banking with all ICO money?..

Just i want to know do someone still around here?Maybe some ex members of chat.bankera who was muted/blocked for all, just because way say Scam?...Well,im the one unlucky one,who said something like i write here and now banned from chat.bankera:)!!!..
Im invested EUR 12.000+ in Bankera and really like to know bit more about all company's involved in Bankera spider, more contacts, more facts form start of ICO until now...

Thank you:)

Bankera was a scam project and the team was full of scammers. They have lot of bad reputations, took the valuable assets of the investors. Many investors lost their funds. I don't believe their words about how much funds they had raised then from ICO.

Unfortunate for investors as they only find out that the project is a scam after the ICO.

It's the kind of trend we've seen in the past, they have a very convincing whitepaper, a team, and they are good in marketing, and since that time, ICO was still very popular, it's easy for them to attract investors with the support of the bounty hunters of course.

But look at them now, raise more than $100 million but can't even afford to list the project in good exchange, actually exchange is necessary as it would affect the reputation of the project too, if its listed in a shit exchange, people will look at this as a shit project too.
4250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 18, 2020, 11:25:06 AM

I sure hope they gave up on that idea, for their own safety.

Exactly. More people involved, more risks from contracting the virus.
That's not gonna work I guess. If they seriously need to resume, they need to minimize the people who's coming in from the facility that their playing into, in Orlando  to be specific.
I understand how boring the game could be without the crowd, the families, and even friends, just the players from each team, coaches, and staff. But this is business, they need to sacrifice.

Agree with that, even if it's their family, we never know if they are carrying the virus as only the NBA players are betting monitored, they just give a little sacrifice as this is just temporary, they need to do this for the sake of safety resuming the season and they can finish it without problems relating to corona virus. I understand that it's a hard sacrifice not seeing their family, but for once, they have to do this as they are earning well and it's their job to make this business alive again by give the entertainment to the fans.
4251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 18, 2020, 07:12:13 AM
This is not the only ICO project that turned scam after few years and they were successful from the beginning, these makes investors distrust ICO projects untill this day, now no one talks about ICO anymore, top exchanges makes IEO more stronger and reliable than ICO.
Yes, that's right, the ICO is over for discussion, so if there is someone who is still thinking about ICO at this time, then the time will be in vain, because at this time the ICO will no longer be able to be generated by anyone, let alone most exchange parties has received IEO for all projects.
The time of ICO is already over and those  projects that didn't survive during the long bear market will just disappear and investors will have to accept that they lose. I realized that ICO was a big gamble after the bull run only because I saw how it was dumped and the price has corrected, even ETH and other major coins, they are not exempted as the entire altcoins market suffers a hard fall.

4255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 14, 2020, 10:57:01 PM
[snip]
Some other people saw this as a suicide act but for me, they are just prioritizing their future even though it's quite risky.
Well, that is life everything had a barrier for us to survive and this pandemic has a solution that we can avoid so, perhaps I agree with businesses slowly open like casinos which is pretty sure to contribute to our economy survive during this crisis. I understand what Las Vegas did, they want to back their economy grow. Indeed, the new normal policy will be implemented into this mass gathering event because for sure it will prone to virus becomes spread if no one will have safety precaution.
Casinos particularly in Las Vegas are losing a lot of money if they will not operate again, if it will take a year before they will re-open, where would the people working go, where would they get money to feed their family, of course some would say that they can look for another job but we have to understand that this pandemic has made businesses close and people are getting unemployed, so a casino to be re open would not only help the economy in overall but the unemployment problem as well, so I support the opening with proper protocol in place.
4256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 14, 2020, 10:22:34 PM
What I noticed in making investment on a gambling platform is their little profit from investing with them. Some few years back, I make  some investment but was not fast growing like the normal investment so I quit the process long ago but maybe this time I will give a try to make have a taste of it. Though maybe the amount I invested then was the reason of me getten the low profit. I Will definitely keep my eyes on this thread to make it this time a reality.

The profit you will earn depends on the amount of your investment, better look at the rate of return than the amount you put.
Let say you invested 0.01 btc in a certain platform, you can't expect a good profit in that as 1% or 2% is just a little amount of return based on your capital.

Investing in casino is only attractive if you put a decent amount of capital, and I think lending money in the forum is more profitable though as it ranges from 3% to 10% per month.
4257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 14, 2020, 09:57:45 PM
Golovkin  is gonna be the favorite but I would be happy with that as taking money with good betting odds would give good return if he wins.
So like most members here voted for him to win, I too hope he will win if this fight's going to happen.

The betting odds are going to be interesting. I still remember what happened during the Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman fight. Thurman started as the overwhelming favorite in betting circles, for reasons that are quite obvious. But then large number of Filipinos (mostly expats) made bets in favor of Pacquiao, forcing the gambling sites to lower the odds for Thurman. I guess the same will happen with this fight, if it ever happens.

I hope it will not be the scenario but I like Manny to win, I just like him to be an underdog in betting odds so if he wins, bettors will win with a better odds.
If Manny will have  2.30 and over, that would be a good extra 30% of winning, and I'm still gonna be confident taking him at that odds.

Regarding who bets on Manny that made him favorite in his previous fight, I think we will never know if it's the Filipino people as there are also whales in sports betting who can move the odds at their favor.
4258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best Dex Exchange on: June 14, 2020, 01:16:56 PM
I agree with the Binance dex is one of the BEST DEX as of today using their platform is way easy. when it comes to security and support this dex is my choice. I have used IDEX but the trade there has a minimum and its high for me Cry that's why some of my coins are stuck in there

More tokens are already listed in the exchange but their volume are still not big, they only have $667,607 USD, and this would only tell that only few traders are really using a decentralized exchange, and hopefully it will have a significant rise once the altcoins season will come.

We can choose the best DEX but they are still a small market for now and it seems like Binance CEO is wrong saying DEX is the future.
4259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 14, 2020, 12:49:51 PM
I saw this old article published in 2015, this seems interesting because Golovkin had already showed his interest before.

Yeah, I think this is when Triple G was at his peak and destroying everyone at Middleweight and cleaning up the decision. So there are no more challengers and he is looking for money fights that's why he showed interest to fight either one of best, Floyd or Manny.

But again, the same arguments we have today, Triple G is too big for two, specially Manny Pacquiao. And we eventually saw Floyd and Manny fight that year, making the biggest boxing fights in history in terms of revenue.

Yes it was a history but people will not remember it as a good fight as it was a boring fight IMO.
But this GGG fight against Manny, I believe it's not gonna be boring, one fighter will be hurt badly as both fighters loves to fight toe to toe.

GGG might be big for Manny but I believe Roach knows better than us.

4260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Crytopcurrency on: June 14, 2020, 11:29:01 AM
We are here because we believe in the potential of crypto and its future.
However, without the support of the government, this would only be a speculative market that will not be stable and whales will dominate.
With that, investors will be afraid to adopt because they might just suffer big loses due to manipulation.

What can help the crypto to grow is real adoption and bitcoin has to be a currency that we can spend on a regular basis rather than an investment.
