Anyway, Pandya out but I think it's not gonna make a difference. India is heading to 350+ runs. Too hard for Pakistan to come back in this match.
Dhoni gone! bad :-(
India started really well with the openers giving a solid start once again and Rohit got out playing a cheeky shot and if he was there the run rate would have increased from what it is now as he would accelerate rapidly with the way he was set in his innings, Pandya and Dhoni got out in quick succession which is a disappointment and now rain has stopped the play, duck worth lewis will be on play if they loose more than an hour of game, hopefully we will see the entire match.
4242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 16, 2019, 12:03:28 AM
That was a throw away game by Sri Lanka, the middle order was non-existence. They were so close to wining and at last lost it with huge margin. They are definitely one of the weakest team in the tournament.
The openers gave a dream start to the chase and they were in the game till their captain Karunaratne got out missing his century and then the wickets starts falling and were folded out sooner than we all expected, both the matches today were one sided encounters where South Africa won easily after restricting Afghanistan to a low total, today we have a good match between rivals India and Pakistan and hopefully the weather here will allow us to see the match.

Stop spamming. You're trying to make an argument out of nothing. I didn't like the fight, what is it to you ? No one asked for your analysis of it and of MMA in general.  Roll Eyes
Yeah sure the hypocrite stance suites better  Roll Eyes, if you are not interested in engaging in a conversation here why you want to scribble down what your personal feelings are in the first place, just keep that within yourself, if you are engaging your opinion in an open forum and if someone has other opinion regarding the fight they will counter you, if you feel hurt because of that then i am out of that conversation as i am not in a mood to argue with kids.
4244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 14, 2019, 07:12:28 PM
Oh god... my point was I wanted to watch an MMA fight, not a kickboxing one. I prefer a fight when the guys don't stand up the whole time.
Clearer now ?
Lets analyze what is a mixed martial arts fight, if you watched any of their prior fights both fighters prefer stand up fights unless the opposition takes the fight to the ground and both are well versed in ground game too and if someone takes them to the ground they will finish the fight in the ground and that is their fight game, every fighter goes to their strength and if they prefer to stand and bang and never wanted to take the fight to the ground you think it is not a good fight plan  Huh. You might have your idea of a perfect fight and so does millions of people who watch the fights and these are people who have opinions but never had a real professional fight, these fighters are world class martial artist and they know what they are doing and the best fighter with fight IQ wins.

PS: i am not here to correct anyone but being an martial artist i enjoyed every second of the fight, it was technical and lousy at times with his unorthodox approach and Tony has incredible sharp elbows which caused these cuts, i am really waiting for the fight against Tony and Khabib as Tony is an artist who flows according to the opposition and he is incredibly great on the ground and i wonder how that match up would be as we all know Khabib will take anyone to the floor and the important question is what can Tony do on the ground, will he come out victorious with a slick submission or Khabib control him like he did to everyone in his undefeated career.
4245  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will FB Coin/JPM Coin Impact the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem? on: June 13, 2019, 10:00:08 PM
Facebook's coin will be a stable coin. The purpose of it (as I keep insisting to anyone who will listen) is to gather user data which they can then use as yet another data source for behavioural profiling, which they will then a) sell to advertisers, and potentially b) use to modify our behaviour (pushing people into voting for a certain party is only the start).
The only upside I can see from the FB coin is that it might pique interest from outside crypto and so be a step on the road to mainstream adoption.
I can stand by your vision that these centralized coins is all about data gathering and profiling and making sure they have a data regarding your investment  but that does not provide the situation where you claim that the centralized coin facebook is coming up with will be a stable coin, not seen their white paper either as it is not released yet, explain to the rest of the community on how you came to the conclusion that facebook coin will be a stable coin.
4246  Local / India / Re: Indian Government Backed Program to offer Crypto and Blockchain Course on: June 13, 2019, 09:45:59 PM
Yes, it's actually very sad.Cryptocurrencies are prohibited, but it is possible to teach specialists in this industry.I think there's a discrepancy.
I have read those news about the bills and the huge sentence where you will be going to jail for ten year even if you are holding bitcoin and i can still log into the site where i used to trade while i was in India and the site is still active, not sure what changes have being made and whether the news that is circulating is true or not, if there is a bill then the government has to decide about the future of the market, not sure whether they are competent enough to understand the market and come up with rules and regulations.
4247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2019, 09:30:05 PM
Not sure you got my point, read again.  Roll Eyes
I didn't really enjoy the fight anyway. Those guys are not kickboxers god damnit ! One miserable attempt at a takedown, only one ! Not my kind of fight.
Same for Cejudo, he is a wrestler, not a boxer. Nothing to say about his win, he deserved it.
I read your post and so is the reason i commented, you were talking about Donald Cerrone and Tony Ferguson here and you said they are not kickboxers, what i pointed out is that Donald Cerrone had a professional kickboxing record of 28 wins in his career and that too undefeated in kickboxing career and Tony Ferguson have a back ground in kickboxing as well as wrestling and BJJ, not sure what point you are referring here  Roll Eyes if you say that you were sarcastic then i would understand your point, but your words do not clarify anything. You are commenting here for a MMA fight and you are arguing that it was not interesting as they did not fight according to their strength as Cerrone Vs Tony was a stand up fight as they are well versed in stand up and what is your point here.
4248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 13, 2019, 09:16:22 PM
Since there is nothing interesting to talk about the matches let me tell that the innings Warner played against Pakistan where he was not connecting the ball and still went on to score a century reminded me of the innings Saeed Anwar played against India, where he was struggling with his fitness before even scoring 50 runs and yet he went on to score 194 runs and during that time i thought he would score the first double century in ODI history but Ganguly and Sachin was the main players who shut down his conquest for double century, not sure who took his wicket as it happened more than a twenty years ago but both of them were involved with his dismissal.
Seen more world cups than any other user here in this forum i guess and this is by far the most matches without any results in the history of world cups.

Congratulations on the win!  Cheesy
I've actually just contacted our sportsbook team to check the possibility of us adding a 'no result' market for CWC games given the forecast for the next week or so.
Hopefully if it happens (no promises!) I'll be able to report better odds than our competitors  Wink
It would be a great addition if you could add that option in your sports book, you are one of the sports book that i lost a huge amount of coins dealing with silly bets in the past, the biggest loss was around 8BTC for a 1.04 odds a few years back  Cheesy and your sports book was one of the go to sports book when ever i gamble with bitcoin, i shifted when you revamped your spots book a couple of years back i guess. No result market would be a great addition for a legit sport book like yours.

4251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Verification of identity compulsory on transactions over $1000 on: June 13, 2019, 06:52:27 PM
There will probably be more orders for $999.99.
This is exactly what is going to happen Cheesy but they might be having some bench mark to identify many sub $1000 transactions to a particular account and if they set a trigger to monitor strange transactions, your account will be monitored and that is how things work in the real world. Lets see how they are going to implement these things, there is always a loop hole for every process  Grin.
4252  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Reserve Bank of India Denies Involvement in Draft Bill to Ban Cryptocurrencies on: June 13, 2019, 05:17:59 PM
The Reserve Bank of India is denying any knowledge of a proposed ban on cryptocurrencies — despite reports that a number of governmental agencies have backed the draft legislation — according to a Right to Information request filed on June 4.
I am not sure whether it will make a huge difference, but what is evident here is that the bill is drafted without consulting the reserve bank of India and with the way the news are coming out, i am not even sure whether they consulted anyone who understands the bitcoin technology or the entire market before coming up with the draft, only time will tell what they are planning to implement, people who invested in bitcoin will not run away with those scare tactics and they will drive the market underground with these kind of stupidity.
4253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: June 13, 2019, 04:44:14 PM
As the growth of the cryptomarket arises, scammers will do rising too. Scam is unavoidable so we should face with scams by preparing ourselves enough knowledge, skills, and emotional control in order to avoid investment mistakes in scam projects. We really cant avoid it but we can lessesn it to happen through proper reviews to the projects.
The reason for scam is that people are willing to get scammed as they will invest in anything flashy and if you combine some technical words that are hard to understand for the normal investor, then they think it is a noble project they are working and to get a profit they will invest without checking whether the said project is a feasible one or the team behind it are legit and so is the reason we saw many scams in the market, IEO are a new thing now and scammers will find a way to get involved in it and once you stop investing money in random projects without any recognized developers, then these scams will stop.
4254  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Holding unregulated crypto asset may attract punishment in India on: June 13, 2019, 03:56:45 PM
The main issue in India is their beaurocratic nature of governance! Where an age old beaurocrat who is almost at the verge of retirement, is given a task to understand crypto and provide recommendations to the ministry. That's where the problem belongs to!

India should really adopt to the mass voting model that is there in Australia or EU. This way the government can understand what people really want! But Indian government is not really in a mood to understand the need of the mass.
You said it precisely, the retired bureaucrats usually over look these drafts and conduct the study which they do not have any idea what they are doing and then they will compile a report on hear say basis, there is no transparency on who they consulted to learn and understand about the market, it is a democratic country but majority of the things are done like a dictatorship without any transparency. Mass voting system should be adopted in the worlds largest democracy but the political system will do everything on their power to stop that and that is the state of the country.
4255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex will become great again! on: June 13, 2019, 03:08:34 PM
Perhaps this is the factor why poloniex not like years ago. Years ago, poloniex is big exchangers but now people looking and trust on binance as biggest exchangers. But i think Poloniex could be big exchangers again because poloniex have a good history
Poloniex was the biggest exchange a few years back and the reason for them to piss off their user base is simply because as more coins are being listed and the user base started growing they could not handle everything and the amount of pending issues was growing on a daily basis, some people missing their coins after depositing them and the time it takes to withdraw the coins were really high and you will not hear from their customer care for weeks and those things pushed the users to other exchanges and during that time binance was launched and they took over the number one position in a short period of time.
I had issues with them in the past and it took three weeks to get the coins and i never visited them since, there are a lot of exchanges in the market and if some exchange is giving a better service than the rest, sure they can be number one again.
4256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 13, 2019, 02:28:40 PM
~snip~
i made a bet for no result
~snip~
Which bookies is offering this market?
Freebitco.in is where i saw big odds for no result and draw, initially the odds were 84x for no result and since then i was keen on waging on that since it was evident that the match will be abandoned without a ball being bowled, but since many of the matches are abandoned now today's odds i got was 2.94x which is still decent and with the match being abandoned now, i won that without much sweat and i have won the last few days of no result bets  Cheesy
4257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Investing In AltCoin Still Worth it in 2019? on: June 13, 2019, 12:45:05 PM
When its about altcoin, i do believe there is a lot good altcoin with solid developers team and focus on the project. We should not doubt ethereum, with smart contract and used by most token in market, ethereum is good investment. With active developers team and always improve the product, i think ethereum good for bussiness platform
The biggest use case of Ethereum was the scam market where billions are collected using their platform and some of the solid projects that started with ETH to collect the money moved to their own blockchain, so we have to differentiate the use case of ETH and its potential in terms of it real case use, the ICO days are almost over and you rarely see a good project using them as a platform in 2019. It is true that the price is moving along the movement in bitcoin but how long it can go is to be seen.
4258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: g20 FATF regulations to demand kyc for recipient on: June 13, 2019, 11:04:57 AM
That's not safe, and that's not what crypto was meant for. If you can identify cold wallets you can track people. The travel rule applied to crypto i calamitous. And people who rely on anonymous exchanges like me are deeply in trouble. Most of these exchanges won't even accept americans.

People need to sue the government. This is supreme court international court level stuff, this has to be contested in court.
It is a proposed draft to have strict procedure and rules set for exchanges, that does not mean that all your funds will be made public and will hurt your privacy, they will monitor the flow of funds from exchanges and that is not a bad thing either, with the N number of hacks in the past and all the frauds that happened here, we need such things to protect the user funds. Investor protection is a major factor when it comes to any investment and we have not seen that in the virtual market till now and have seen billions of dollars worth of scam and one way or the other the government will enforce that in the future.
4259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 13, 2019, 10:07:29 AM
#ShameICC So far the worse hosting of ICC world cup
They are getting ready for a T20 match and I'm not at all positive about it Sad
May be or a full abandoned match. It's disturbing.
It is really a disastrous world cup and even today's match we wont be able to see the full match, i made a bet for no result which i think is the best bet to do right now as there is a forecast for heavy rain in the evening, either it will be a duckworth lewis short match and that too is highly unlikely because the match is yet to start and there is only a two hour period of sunshine according to weather forecast, Since every team is sharing points, will we see some upsets in the semi final table. Shocked
4260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcointalk not issue a separate coin? on: June 13, 2019, 09:05:31 AM
More and more new projects are born. For a successful project, the bitcointalk forum is an important step in promoting the project. So why does bitcointalk not issue its own coin to manage and make requests for projects to post on the forum. Like a project running IEO on exchanges, bitcointalk acts as the exchange for the purpose of minimizing phishing projects. Help forum remove spam messages
What is the reason for a new coin, it is a bitcoin board and bitcoin is our coin, some are creating all these shit coins does not mean that we need to have a separate coin for the board too. Not sure how a new project will reduce spam messages and minimize phishing projects, people here are trying their best to counter that for free and are you telling to collect millions and start a project just because everyone is doing that Roll Eyes.
