It's not entertaining to see matches are washed away because of rain or reduced overs. Why would they need to host this WC in England especially in this rainy season. Out of last 4 matches (including this one), 2 of them was abandoned and only one (pak vs aus) was played yesterday. Today match may be abandoned too or if we are lucky, we could see a 20-20 overs match.

Don't you think teams getting unfair advantages and disadvantages getting these matches washed out. Some teams are happy on getting these 1 points and other may lose their chances to qualify because of these single points.

They are getting ready for a T20 match and I'm not at all positive about it

It is really a disastrous world cup and even today's match we wont be able to see the full match, i made a bet for no result which i think is the best bet to do right now as there is a forecast for heavy rain in the evening, either it will be a duckworth lewis short match and that too is highly unlikely because the match is yet to start and there is only a two hour period of sunshine according to weather forecast, Since every team is sharing points, will we see some upsets in the semi final table.

Well I think it is ok to settle matches with 1 points. Now talking about the advantage/disadvantage, I would say no one is sure how a match would turn around if have continued. My point is it could get eitherway if continued so don't judge that it was going to someone advantage and disadvantage to other on the basis of the actual play at which the game stopped.

Normally June is one of the 3rd driest month in England, that is why they host world cup in June, but this year worst rain in June, so ICC can't do much for this.
England won the bid for host world cup and they have to do it. But cricket is long game and it take so much time to host full world cup, that is why no country can do much on rain.

I've gone with New Zealand today on Superbru to back my office pool team, but in my head I still think India have the advantage. It's all going to come down to the showdown between the NZ bowlers and IND batsmen, and with Dhawan out this could be the Kiwi's chance to pull ahead on the leaderboard.

That said, it's probably just going to rain today

Is there another match going to be Abounded due to rain?  Just woke up from sleep and try to see the score and I am surprised again by England whether 😂😂😂.   I did not see this type of World cup before where so many matches abounded due to rain. Actually we can not do anything Against the nature. Now need to wait for another inspection.

Lol. Ferguson and his mustache are something else. Anyway, I am disappointed to see another big match go into the gutter thanks to the rains. Can we get an option in Superbru where we can bet on the match getting cancelled due to rainy weather? 

We should be awarded more margin points since this would be a tie(Something like 2 or 3 margin points). This is something like betting on a tie in Baccarat instead of betting on the player or the banker which pays a lot more in comparison.

Not sure about who are all going to get benefited due to abandoned matches. It seems that all ten teams may experience at least one abandoned match considering against the weather forecast for England and Wales for next few days.

Even at the end of round robin, if weather conditions will not be bringing any considerable impact, at least for gamblers it might have impacted in huge levels as I am a gambler and I could predict about test playing nation's results and their players scoring and wicket striking capabilities, but unfortunately I am forced to stay away as matches are called off without single ball bowled.

ICC must focus on reserve day policies for league stage matches too for gambler's stake .

But they should have exerted more pressure on the ICC to allocate reserve days, than whining about it now. I am worried about the India vs Pakistan match as well. What will happen in case that one also gets washed out?

Rains have played spoilsport once again in this tournament, and there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it. ICC has already clarified why it’s not possible to have reserve days and it makes sense to me, as there’s no guarantee of rains not turning up on reserve day. India vs Pakistan is another match which will be washed out if you look at the weather report, all one can do at this stage is pray that it doesn’t rain on Sunday.

How much is it going to cost, to have the covers? The TV broadcasters are paying huge sums of money and I am sure that ICC can use some of that amount to explore that option. When we have day-night test matches, why can't we have covered cricket grounds? The technology has advanced very fast and I think it is possible now.

This is not good for world cup cricket. We will see some undeserving team are going to semi. Everyone wants to play if it was to point sharing then there are no need for matches. Measure the strength of the teams and give them points, give the trophy to the highest point awarded team.

Freebitco.in is where i saw big odds for no result and draw, initially the odds were 84x for no result and since then i was keen on waging on that since it was evident that the match will be abandoned without a ball being bowled, but since many of the matches are abandoned now today's odds i got was 2.94x which is still decent and with the match being abandoned now, i won that without much sweat and i have won the last few days of no result bets  .
