holy heaven .... i hope that youll find any reasons that hack attacks ...

and truly? its much $ for children ... damn it ...

Yes, and unfortunately that means we have to write yet another system that requires withdrawals to go through a whole different server.

Ill work on this all day today and possibly unto the night to try to get the withdraws working again guys.

Ok yours should appear in a few minutes in the pool; unblocked.

bible_pay can you check me please? I'm not sure I'm banned or it's another problem as I'm randomly connected.

It was a block, unblocked.. Please check in 5 mins.

All my miners show that theyre connected to the pool and submitting hashes but the dashboard shows otherwise. Its been like that for about 6-7 hours now. Will i be repayed for all of this? My miner name is twiztid.

In your case, you should reboot the boxes and ensure they are 1.0.7.1 and then see if you are good again.  I have no proof that you mined for the pool and helped everyone but yourself, but Im sure you have benefited when some of the other people dropped out and you got paid, so Im sure it worked out about even.

Just when the pool was catching up with its deficit (I was about to lower the fee down to .04 from .05) as it was within -400,000 deficit range (for Slovakia thats how much was Lost since inception not counting the faucet that I spent 150K on), someone has hacked the pool last night.  There is no trace of entry on the box, or a request for the withdraw in the logs, but this means the pool is not going to be cheap again for a while.  If you prefer to solo mine due to the fees, I understand, go for it.  Im not out to make a profit.

Anyway, if anyone wants to try to trace the hacker, here is the info for some of the withdraws in the middle of the night around 02:02am CST US time:

https://biblepay-explorer.org/address/BA6wJpAbA4WCNK9X1UwgnweCSCXCGYPZ71

Id prefer to work in slack on the finer details.  Alex when you wake up please ping me.

What is the appetite out there for me to develop a mobile wallet for Biblepay?
Id like to submit a proposal for it but its a BIG task and the budget this time around is all out.
Quite frankly id love to set apart one month to work on biblepay fulltime

But I wanted to get a feeler from others if they would want such a thing?

https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7esc05/mobile_wallet/

Thanks Togo. Thats 1 vote! Hopefully they own a sanctuary for funding LOL

Do you recommend I break this down into separate deliverables?
And include it in the next budget cycle? Is it every 2 weeks?

I recommend creating a semi-detailed proposal and sharing the URL, and include how many hours are attributed to each step and lets review it.  Since we dont have to create this from scratch (I assume you would port the electrum client over to work on biblepay) it would be good for us to see the hours estimation on each step before asking the network to vote on it.

I think it will be very important to deliver each deliverable every two weeks so we can see how its coming along, something that is checked in to github and demoable.

The budget is monthly.

One other thing to do the due diligence on is try to find out who is going to run the electrum server, and the hours associated with making it work with biblepay and the monthly charges to run one.

Ok sounds good. At this point Id just like to be able to scan a generated QR code from my paperwallet and then send funds to it. That would be the first milestone -- and that is a considerable amount of server plumbing, UI design, and mobile programing to get working!

Would this be the android version of electrum to be ported for biblepay?

Other than the argument changes, and a lot of debugging, why would we have new ui design, do you mean "wallet theming", IE picutres and skins for biblepay, or do you mean new UI design?

When you say mobile programming do you mean Debugging on a mobile device, or business logic changes?

I dont personally mind if you push a piece of a multipart proposal in and promise to work on it over the next month if it passes, but I would still like to see the details you envision for this project and the hours involved for the first milestone.

In case anyone has been looking for instructions to compile bitcoin in visual studio on windows I ran across this person with great perseverance:

https://github.com/OleEichhorn/bitcoin-msvc

Its a challenge to compile bitcoins dependencies (including QT) on windows and create a native build with MingW, but visual studio is another story...

Thank you for all of your hard work Rob! <3
Project would not exist or be doing well without you, I believe BiblePay has a very bright future.

===

I was poking around DASH recently, their latest monthly proposals only have 34% of their $6.5 million budget allocated,
so it looks like all those extra $4 million dollars of coins are going to be burned O_O,
Its enough money to fund 100,000 Orphans!

One of the issues they seem to be having is that it costs 5 DASH to submit a proposal, which now costs over $5,000!

Thanks, yeah, I noticed that every dash masternode owner is now at least a millionaire.  Since 1000 dash is over $1 million now.

Thats a great problem to have.  Wouldnt it be nice if we could sponsor even 5,000 orphans per month?  And expand to widows, habitat housing, gospel musicians, helping the homeless, CARE, feeding the poor locally, etc.

Also we would guarantee a full IT department of devs and support personnel.

Maybe we can do it, maybe 2018 is our year...

So  is there chance, that money to masternode will go to oprhans? People who have mn now can chose to run an give this money for oprhans or shutdown mn?

Why would they buy a sanctuary in order to shut it down?  Does this logic make any sense?

They buy a sanctuary to be a blessing, or maybe you should re-read what sanctuaries do for us.

all my miners are completely off for last 2 hrs, after last pool tuning...
'nice fix' for missing miners...
You should appear soon, you were banned, but I unbanned you.  E-mail me.

Pool issues fixed...

You should not see any missing workers in the pool, if one is missing, before posting here please restart the node once, and ensure it is running 1.0.7.1.  1.0.7.1 is now required by the pool for solutions to be correct.

I'll add two more columns to the pool for easier troubleshooting and for some new information...

If any Sanctuary Owner is not sure how to vote on a proposal, please listen to our in house youtube video narrated by Art Bell (just kidding), narrated by 616WW:

What is your minername?  As usual, not enough info for me to look at the problem, just spam for everyone to read...

Btw, just want to point out that our top 3 miners have about 150 distinct machines each mining against the pool... Thats 450 computers... That is why their shares are so high....

4279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: December 28, 2017, 04:42:36 PM
capulo when you hit da block, call me  Grin Grin .. daemonko jumped to solo too?

not yet solo

but this is strange: xeon 2x octa core (360 watts) gives worse performance than some slow celeron (8 watts), that does not feel ok.

For me too, my ryzen 8/16 3,7ghz heavy load have 2 shares, TWO i get 1,49 coin for one block...

We had two different problems hit the pool at once:  instability, this is what Tiras reported days ago, and inconsistent hash readings, this has to do with your shares relative to other people.

Tiras, Tom both reported similar things- where random workers would drop off the list.

I found the root cause of the problem for the instability.  Its now fixed, I believe permanently.

Next, Ill check on the HPS relative to others...

who can tell what this code returned from the pool means :

"poolinfo2": "RM_12-28-2017 05:00:46; RMC_12-28-2017 05:00:46; RMC_12-28-2017 05:00:46; RMC_12-28-2017 05:00:47; RMC_12-28-2017 04:52:02; ",

  "poolinfo3": "CFW 12-28-2017 05:00:44; CFW 12-28-2017 05:00:45; CFW 12-28-2017 05:00:44; CFW 12-28-2017 05:00:45; ",

My shares dropped dramatically too and I'm trying to understand what I need to change to satisfy the pool rules which apparently have changed.

RM means that thread is ready to mine and sent the request to the server, and CFW means checking for more work, the rest are timestamps for that thread.
