Picking Harris certainly is a blow to the Biden campaign. But at least she's not Hillary, and that might be enough to carry the (D) ticket to victory this time around.

These 20000 id's could have made the difference since either side can get them.

How, though? The ID is fake. What name is going to correspond on lists of voters at polling places? Without valid SSNs on each ID, they can't be used to apply for voter registration. And you can't just show up with a fake ID at a polling place and say "let me vote." Your name has to be on a list of registered voters. The IDs are used for underaged college and high school students to buy liquor, and this happens all the time.

4262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io seized my profits on: August 11, 2020, 08:25:41 AM
If the player agreed to it then I would think its OK to share blockchain evidence.
I did not mean now after the player admitted it, I meant before all these dramas. It would be nice when a scam accusation arrives then Steve come up with all his weapons to protect his brand without hiding much. That will make our lives easier.

You can't change the past, but certainly they should consider this a learning experience.

You lose a few bets, and you admit and prove you are multi accounting. Would SP null the bets and repay full deposit too?

I know that you've more or less just been trolling here, but this is actually a good idea for somebody to try as an experiment. What would be more impressive is if you found a bitcoin bookmaker that had a different policy than SB.
This does not mean trolling, fact is this is a valid point. So, let's not blame each others and make things dirty. We are better than this.

It's not a valid point because no sportsbook does this, and no casino does it, so singling out one business for not doing it is lame. Should they do it? Probably. But its just part of standard business practice for the industry to not do it. If somebody is going to accuse SB of acting inappropriately then by extension they are accusing pretty much every single other bitcoin casino operation in existence of the same thing.

(not including dice sites for which there is no way to increase an advantage over the house edge by having multiple accounts).

Edit so as to not create a pointless back-and-forth discussion after the situation has already been resolved:

Please show me where in the T&Cs it's written that a bet can be nulled for violation only if that bet is won, and not if it's lost. I'm very very very impatient to see that.

Obviously it doesn't say that.

If you truly believe the sportsbook or the industry in general is acting inappropriately, you should open your thread about it and let's discuss it there.

I do not think it would be much if would just say that your security team detected the deposit came from same wallet, in worse case you could just share us the blockchain evidences.

If the player agreed to it then I would think its OK to share blockchain evidence.
4264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: An Investigation into 5G + Thoughts on Health & the Coronavirus w/ cited sources on: August 11, 2020, 07:23:51 AM
How do you explain the proliferation of coronavirus in places with zero 5G towers? Our hardest hit areas have no towers for hundreds of miles. Is it possible that there is just a non-related overlap in places where 5G towers are being set up and population centers? Furthermore, could there potentially be a non-related overlap in places that can afford to conduct high rates of covid testing and have a market demand for 5G?

60 GHz frequency causes electrons on oxygen molecules to spin, which makes the hemoglobin in our blood unable to uptake the oxygen and carry it to the rest of our body

It doesn't change chemical properties of oxygen. So much for "factual investigation" if the first randomly picked sentence turned out to be false.

https://lmgtfy.com/?q=5G+conspiracy+theories+debunked&s=d

You must be new to the Internet.

Repeat after me.

I, Suchmoon am wrong, and I will not compound my display of ignorance by denying it and again acting arrogant while in the process of being horribly mistaken.

"Fixed Wireless Communications at 60GHz Unique Oxygen Absorption Properties"

https://www.rfglobalnet.com/doc/fixed-wireless-communications-at-60ghz-unique-0001

Think about what the author of the quote was saying and then what suchmoon said. First of all, what were the electrons doing in an oxygen atom before being exposed to a 60 GHz radio frequency? Not spinning? They were just stationary?

Second of all, the absorption of radio waves by oxygen is one of its properties. These properties in themselves are not being altered by radio waves. As far as 60 GHz affecting oxygen's ability to bind to hemoglobin:

“There is not a single experimental study that has investigated if the radio waves relevant for wireless communication change hemoglobin’s O2 affinity.”

https://sciencefeedback.co/claimreview/conspiracy-theorists-claim-that-5g-increases-vulnerability-to-covid-19-with-baseless-theory-that-it-affects-hemoglobin/

Quote
In short, there is no evidence available that radio waves used for wireless communication, and at such relevant energy levels, have any effects on biomolecule structures in vitro. That such an effect would occur in vivo under such conditions is extremely unlikely. Furthermore, and specifically regarding 5G, any claim that this protocol would have any health impact on COVID-19 patients at present is unrealistic, since the general roll-out of 5G is very modest and actually absent in most countries.

Regardless of any of this, what is the overall percentage of 5G being transmitted at 60 GHz? Does anyone actually know?

Like most conspiracy theories, there's too many assumptions being made to arrive at the desired conclusion.

It's a bit hard to follow but since you were originally scammed by Anonym1337x and his telegram is associated with all 3 accounts, I supported your new flags.

BTW an archived version of a post where VoucherS uses the same telegram name can be found here (the live version has since been deleted).

Since it takes 3 DT votes to activate this type of flag, you can request additional support for them in this thread if not enough people come across them here.

cryptoaddictchie, if your post is deleted, then all other posts after user Google+ application should also be deleted - but it seems that someone is just report your post.

Indeed, this is an uncommon move by the mods where just one post was deleted but the ones quoting and solely about that post weren't also deleted. I'm going to report the following posts and see what happens, at the risk of losing my 99% success rate  Cheesy

Getting that bump from 98 to 99% wasn't easy either, I had to have like 100 good reports in a row to make it happen.

4268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Easy money by Betting (Stake.com) My stats. on: August 10, 2020, 09:05:56 AM
I Won

Krasnodar 0:3 and Spartak Moscorw 2:1

And lost Boton 2:1 and Anderleht 2:2.

I cashouted then Boston was 0:1 and Anderleht 0:0 around 0.037 ETH

No, you lost. You bet Spartak Moscow to win and they tied. You picked a 4 game parlay and you lost 3 of 4 games. If people would have bet how you bet, they would have lost.

Even cashing out before your first official lost at 0.037 ETH results in a net loss of 0.013 ETH.

Nice idea, only not sure why you would pick stake.com
They do not have a big reputation, I read somebody was scammed for more than 1 million eur.

I see you continuing to troll every sportsbook here. So what great sportsbook with a perfect reputation do you recommend?

TL;DR Translation:
The Fed needs more comprehensive lock-downs to deliver the final death blows to the Economy and USD before desperate Americans will accept their 'final solution' of Fedcoin.

This would be insane and they simply can't do it. I don't understand how this would help the fed or anybody. Sure, it would lessen covid for 6 weeks, and then it will just start back up again. America as a collective whole simply won't have it.

Plus, that guy just looks crazy.

He's the guy who said the fed has unlimited money, which was a crazy thing to say / admit to.

I am a nasty cyber-punk who learned about bitcoin back in 2011 and got my first bitcoins at that time, I just mined them on my work computer, while doing my own business, which did not bother me much, by those standards, my computer was quite powerful.
I didn't have many bitcoins, only around 30-40, I don't remember exactly, at that time it was only a few dollars (February)

So you mined a block and then either gave away, traded, or sold 10-20 bitcoins in February 2011?

Going by his posts since this one, this guy was looking to establish some "cred" via merits before running some currency exchange scams.

The story can't be verified and doesn't really make much of a difference since the OP is not selling anything.

This has since changed.

Not only do I think OP was here farming merits to help him run a scam, I think I know who he was in past incarnations as well. But this can all be disproved with pictures of a hard drive turned into a key holder. Just take 2 pictures of it next to a piece of paper with the day's date, and I'll apologize, and even give you the 3 last merits you need to make Member status.

4273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Funds frozen at sportsbet.io on: August 09, 2020, 09:23:32 AM
There has been a genuine spike as you guys have noticed about players coming from a particular country betting on a particular sport and/or markets.

It has forced us to fully review a whole entire sport and we will have to make a business decision on that at some stage soon.

The obvious solution is to just remove the Russian Table Tennis matches from your offerings. Its no secret that some of the matches are fixed, resulting in incorrect odds being assigned to those matches.

Ultimately removing this market is the best way to deal with the problem of people multi-accounting to get around the bet limits for these matches.

https://tv5.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/29206521/gambling-table-tennis-blowing-the-matches-legit
Quote
Stats Perform, another international sports data company, has chosen not to offer certain lower-tier table tennis events to its sportsbook clients. Jake Marsh, head of integrity for Stats Perform, told ESPN there's a "heightened level of risk at the moment," especially with loosely organized, lower-tier events involving poorly paid athletes, as fixers have fewer sports to target.

Shawn Harnish, a 38-year-old experienced sports handicapper, said he first thought the increased betting buzz around table tennis was a joke, but he now bets it regularly, specifically on Moscow Liga Pro.

"The best way to describe it is if you picture what may be a Knights of Columbus KGB version pingpong tournament would look like," Harnish said. "I've really treated the whole pingpong thing as just staying sharp as far as my routine, doing it every day, looking at the numbers."

Betting limits on table tennis vary from sportsbook to sportsbook, ranging from $250 to $1,000 or more, but are generally smaller than the maximum amounts accepted on NFL games, for example.

"Basically, the only integrity going on in those leagues was done through limit control," said Holt, of U.S. Integrity. "But for [the books] it was a risk-reward: keep the customer and maybe they beat you out of $500."

When asked if that was a responsible move, Holt said it was a "pandemic move," making Russian table tennis "a controlled Wild West in the U.S."

Seat belts are leashes. This is how wild and free animals are tethered in the highway circus.  Roll Eyes

Just procrastinating before I get back to work, but a story I have that is barely tangentially relevant is that right out of college I used to have a job transporting veterans with chronic mental illness from a clinic to their homes after appointments. One patient was an ex-truck driver, and he could drive better than me without doubt, but he would never wear a seat belt. You couldn't make him wear a seat belt because he was in a horrific accident where wearing it would have actually ended up killing him. It was a freak accident kind of thing, but the way he described the situation his seat belt phobia was most assuredly warranted.

There's no analogous situation where wearing your face mask would have caused you to get the 'rona as opposed to not wearing it. Ergo, they should just be worn, especially when you are around others. It's a common courtesy at the very least.

Don't trust. Verify.
Numbers speak for themselves!
Reality is very different from what you've been told on the TV.

I don't own a TV. Any other cliches you want to throw in there?
4276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 08, 2020, 01:24:47 PM
Wearing a mask is the easiest part of all of this. Try having 2 flights cancelled with zero ability to get refunded and waiting in lines for hours to get paperwork just to be able to go home, in hopes you can catch a new flight before the travel period on the paperwork expires.

Be part of Team Humanity for once, for just a little while longer, and wear the stupid mask when you're gonna be around other people.

Nobody's tracking you or trying to suppress your rights. Trust me, if you think the mask is the problem, you're not smart enough to be worth tracking.
4277  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io seized my profits on: August 08, 2020, 10:35:07 AM
Of course I disagree with the word "scam" here because that implies a net monetary loss, which didn't happen no matter how you frame it.

You are very wrong on that nutildah.

The player takes a risk in placing the bet. From the moment the bet is won the money is his. So if he gets anything less returned than his deposits + his winnings it is indeed a loss.

Not if he was never eligible to receive it in the first place. In that case the net winnings are zero. I already said it would be more ideal if the system flushed out multi-accounters before they placed their bets, but nobody does that.

It's like if you go to work for 10 days and then you don't get paid, because fuck you. Would you also say that's not a scam because technically you just worked and didn't lose any money? Your reasoning makes exactly 0 sense.

This is an overly-simplified analogy that leaves out relevant details of both real and hypothetical situations.

We're just beating a dead horse here. There's nothing more to be said. What it comes down to is either taking the side of Sportsbet or the side of OP in choosing who you want to believe. Maybe Sportsbet will provide more input into the matter but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Until then I'm going to excuse myself from this conversation because its now quite boring but feel free to continue on if you must.

Odd how the same group of about 5 people mobilizes for retribution any time one of them is under scrutiny...

So what retribution was had, and who is under scrutiny? I mean, besides you of course.

Schizophrenic people see a lot of patterns too.

There's actually considerable overlap in the delusional qualities of schizophrenics and those with Paranoid Personality Disorder. Speaking of the latter, here is a list of some of their characteristics:

  • Doubt the commitment, loyalty, or trustworthiness of others, believing others are exploiting or deceiving them.
  • Are unforgiving and hold grudges.
  • Are hypersensitive and take criticism poorly.
  • Read hidden meanings in the innocent remarks or casual looks of others.
  • Perceive attacks on their character that are not apparent to others; they generally react with anger and are quick to retaliate.
  • Cannot see their role in problems or conflicts, believing they are always right.
  • Have difficulty relaxing.
  • Are hostile, stubborn, and argumentative.

It's almost like 90% of somebody's presence on this forum (won't say who) is guided by a pathological state of mind.

In your scenario, you're describing a sportsbook that I simply wouldn't play at, but I don't think Sportsbet sees their decisions as "arbitrary." You see them as arbitrary.
I'm describing Sportsbet.io.

Check the Terms and Conditions.

I don't see the word "arbitrary" there.

If I had lost my deposits, they would have allowed me to keep on playing more and more. Few seconds to register, deposit and play, but then more than a week to just recover my deposit. How does this even make any logical sense to you?

This is standard for most casinos and sportsbooks. Sportsbet is no different in this regard. It's not "fair," and it certainly benefits their business more than if they were to demand KYC from the getgo and check for multi-accounting before betting began, but good luck finding a sportsbook with competitive odds that doesn't do this, and let me know when you do find one.
