4261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube bitcoin advertisements everywhere. on: June 26, 2019, 06:08:01 PM
I see bitcoin advertisements on youtube vids, everywhere. Definitely a good sign

Prepare for a new ath, ones bitcoin reaches a new ath the media reports on the ath will push it to like 25-30k.

Screen below

Did you know, while you browse your internet, they collect all your information like what you are browsing, what you are clicking on, what you are watching and everything? They collect all these information to provide your with appropriate advertisements that would be of your interest. You probably were reading about bitcoin a lot, thus you were seeing bitcoin advertisement everywhere. Someone who isn't interested in bitcoin, won't see any advertisement related to it.
4262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook’s Libra Isn’t a “Cryptocurrency” on: June 26, 2019, 05:48:57 PM
In mid-June, Facebook — in cahoots with 28 partners in the financial and tech sectors — announced plans to introduce Libra, a blockchain-based virtual currency.

The world’s governments and central banks reacted quickly with calls for investigation and regulation. Their concerns are quite understandable, but unfortunately already addressed in Libra’s planned structure.

The problem for governments and central banks:

A new currency with no built-in respect for political borders, and with a preexisting global user base of 2.4 billion Facebook users in nearly every country on Earth, could seriously disrupt the control those institutions exercise over our finances and our lives.

The accommodation Facebook is already making to those concerns:

Libra is envisaged as a “stablecoin,” backed by the currencies and debt instruments of those governments and central banks themselves and administered through a “permissioned” blockchain ledger by equally centralized institutions (Facebook itself, Visa, Mastercard, et al.).

Just because they use the blockchain technology, they now consider the coins as crypto currency. Yeah, it might be a crypto currency, but it is just a centralized coin which will be heavily regulated. In other words, it is paypal but using blockchain to perform transactions. "Stable coin", "centralized" and "regulated". All three words most of the bitcoin enthusiasts hate.
4263  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin actually protecting fiat money? on: June 26, 2019, 05:45:23 PM
Not sure if it is protecting fiat money or destroying/limiting its usage (in a good way though). But, yeah it can help develop the total economy in a broader way. And care to explain how it is actually helping to stop inflation? People selling their coins when the price is higher mean more money is being flown in the system which in turn will cause expansion of the economy at higher rate, resulting in more inflation (its the same thing as open market operation where the government starts to buy securities).
4264  Economy / Economics / Re: The Blockchain technologies on: June 25, 2019, 09:50:49 PM
Blockchain usage is not just only restricted to financial fields. Blockchain can also be used in various other fields. In fact in can be applied in almost each and every case. People are now trying to make decentralized storage system using blockchain were the data cannot be tampered. The medical fields are also using the blockchain technology to store patient data and use them for research purpose by keeping the patient information completely anonymous. Crypto currencies were just the beginning of the usage of blockchain.
4265  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the Bitcoin price be in 2020? on: June 25, 2019, 09:23:05 PM

Article:

https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/what-will-the-bitcoin-price-be-in-2020/

What do you guys think? Will we get to $100 000 in 2020 - yes/no? Why?
Expecting $100,000 in 2020? Nope, that's highly unlikely to happen. You want the price to  jump by x10 time within next six months. That won't be happening anytime soon. The bitcoin halving and all those facebook coin called Libra hype might help the price to reach an all time high, but it won't go that high. As soon as a new all time high is reached, people will start dumping their coins for their profit. Then we will see some sort of correction.
We might see $100,000 a bitcoin, but its going to happen in a slow and steady way.

onevanilla 65% so 200$ x 0.65 = 130$ in btc

dm me
Just be careful when dealing with this user. He has red trust and most likely sells stolen or cracked gift cards. High chances you will get scammed by this user. So use an escrow when dealing with him. Check his trust feedback for more information.

4268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trust/ Flag of casino/dice sites' owners on: June 22, 2019, 02:11:24 PM
What's wrong with these ones that has no trust rating at all? Do you think they should be trusted or not, or are they still noobs and no one has tried them out yet? Bitsler is a good dice site and Bitvest as well, though it's been a long time I last tried playing dice game in any of these sites. I have decided to take a break from gambling since these things are not really working out for him. It doesn't make any sense earning money and throwing them away for gambling sites. It's better that I am saving those money instead of gambling them out and losing them.
Those trust numbers you see are the profit trust. Casino owners with no trust does not mean that they are scamming people or anything. But, still its your call. You can trust them at your own risk. It is just that casinos owners with positive trust rating has very low chance of scamming you.
Anyways, owners of crypto-games.net are DogecoinMachine and Joter85 if you didn't know that.
4269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: reeldice.com is a scam on: June 22, 2019, 01:59:16 PM
Hi all,

so sad to tell you, that reeldice.com is a scam.
please close following thread or delete it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5155345.0

First, they pay not the withdraw. have made a transaction 2 days before and get not payment since today. It`s only their max withdraw from the shower, nothing high amount.

Second, in the last days other players wrote, that their account was gone with their balance.

This night, i wanted to log into my account but i can`t. So i created a new account and with the new account i can login with it, but still not with my old. I lost now a very high! played balance.

They will not pay your win. If you win to much, your account will delete.

So .. sad.

First of all, scams are not moderated. So the thread won't be deleted no matter how many people they scam.
Secondly, why would you play on a new unknown casino without any reviews? Even their announcement thread looks all shit. Should have tried some other well known casino.
Thirdly, this isn't the right board to post about scams. Create a proper thread at scam accusation board with proof. The user will get negged soon.
What do you mean by “can’t logout so I made a new account”. That doesn’t make any sense.
They probably blocked/banned his old account. He is able to login with a different account but not with the one he used before.
4270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with bonuses only on: June 22, 2019, 01:48:45 PM
So, you are telling us to milk all free bonuses/faucet from different casinos? Yeah, you can do that, but you will eventually run out of casinos. Usually those bonuses are just one time bonus. You will end up breaking their terms of service by creating multiple accounts to abuse those rewards. You will get caught one way or the other and might even receive an IP ban.
Again, casinos with faucet blocks account that keeps on using their faucet to reach the minimum withdrawal amount.
4271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers running free on: June 22, 2019, 01:33:58 PM
Since when did crypto currencies became all about ICO? Your friend isn't joining the crypto market because of the ICO scams? Lol. Tell him not to invest on any ICO. Tell him to invest of bitcoin and other well known established altcoins. Bitcoin and those altcoins won't runaway with his funds  Wink.
Most of those ICOs remain completely anonymous. So there is no way (extremely hard) to take catch those culprits.
4272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about the bounty manager on: June 22, 2019, 01:24:25 PM
Yeah, the skills of a bounty manager does matter. If a bounty manager does not know how to handle their campaign and their users while managing the bounty program everything is going to be a chaos. If everyone starts spamming and the manager does not take care of the participants, then the whole ugly image will be reflected upon the project. Thus the whole advertisement of the project will go to vain.
4273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are losing confident and interest in altcoins on: June 21, 2019, 08:42:06 PM
Do you think it ever going to be recovered and if you think, yes, then how long?
So you think people are losing confidence and interest on altcoins when the price starts to drop? Lol, No. They are not losing confidence. At least on the well known top altcoins like ETH and LTC. The price drop is quite normal to be honest and we have seen this multiple times. When the price of bitcoin starts to rise, people dump their altcoins to invest on bitcoins in order to gain some profit. Once they have invested/gained enough profit, they sell a part of their investment and starts to buy back their dumped alt coins at lower price which in turn will eventually cause the price of altcoins to increase. So, you need to keep on waiting for a while until the price of bitcoin gets stable for the price of altcoins to recover.
4274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any strategic way in playing poker? on: June 21, 2019, 07:16:27 PM
Definitely we can tell that there are games to which we played always as it will gain us more wins than losing. I have been to gambling in different games but I am now sticking to a certain game to which I love to play and at the same time I always win.

Poker is the game that I usually play. I do not know that every time I am guessing the next cards or my luck will always let met the right decision. I do sometimes call huge amount but these could be rarely will going to happen only when I have good cards held regardless of the cards drawn. My strategy is very simple to call when bet is low and then pass all the times when cards are not good.

BTW, what about yours do you have any strategic play in poker?
So you call when bet is low and pass whenever you have bad cards? Lol, that is how you should not play poker! If you play on the same table with the same people using the same strategy, after few hands everyone will understand your strategy and will easy guess what cards you have. So whenever you get a good card and start raising the pot, you will see everyone understood that you have a good hand, and thus they will start folding. To be good in poker, you need to be good in bluffing and being very unpredictable. If you keep on following a strategy, eventually everyone will know your strategy and use it against  you. Just learn how to bluff (and call bluffs!) and you will be doing good.
4275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Dark Web, Drugs and Government. on: June 21, 2019, 06:32:44 PM
I don't know why the government is blaming the bitcoin for all those dark web activities. Is the Government trying to say that Dark Web illegal activities didn't exist before bitcoin was invented? Of course it did exist. People did illegal activities over there using fiat. To keep their themselves safe from getting tracked, they used gift cards as a form of making payments.
It's totally bullshit to put all blames on crypto currencies. Why not find a better solution or a way to just crackdown all illegal activities taking place over there?
4276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Loosing my mind as a bounty/airdrop hunter on: June 21, 2019, 05:06:56 PM
What is going on with crypto space lately? ICO finally has a better solution which is IEO and it works but what about airdrops and bounties? Right under our nose we get cheated not from scam or fake projects but projects that are already listed and working e.g

Bitsdaq candy swap turned 100:1 bqqq token.
X-block don't even bother about promoters payouts anymore and they are trading already,if my calculation is correct their token already did 1.6x.
Decimated cheat airdrop hunters by later forcing us to buy 5$ worth of DIO token to be able to get our airdrop rewards.
Bounties pays 5$ for promoting their project .
New projects that are never listed on exchanges are dumped through DEX after tracking on etherscan.
No KYC confirmed bounties forced KYC on hunters after bounty ends .

The fact is bounty hunters are not been taken seriously anymore, its absolute rubbish and something must be done about it ,Hunter's real use case is to create awareness for there projects ,that is what makes us important and we shouldn't be treated like we are nothing
Then stop joining their project. They will eventually learn their lesson when once everyone starts to avoid them. They won't have any promoters which in turn will make it difficult for them to promote their project. This will not only teach them a nice lesson, but will also force them to give out better rewards to attract good bounty hunters.
Or just stop wasting your time on these shitty ICOs and do something more productive  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes.
4277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Bounty mangers on: June 21, 2019, 04:47:37 PM
To all bounty hunters on here which one do you prefer?
1) Bounty managers should be the ones to hold the coins/tokens and share with bounty participants .
2) Bounty managers should submit spreadsheet back to the teams after bounty ends for distribution.
Wouldn't the first option be better? This way, if the bounty manager is someone trusted, there is high chance you guys won't  get scammed. If the second option is taken, there might be a probability that the bounty managers may refuse to pay the bounty rewards and run away. Either way, if the project is a scam, there is no way the tokens will have any value and you will have just wasted your time.
4278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Libra coin over Bitcoin is that possible? on: June 20, 2019, 07:38:21 PM
The Facebook cryptocurrency coin Libra is now the talk in the cryptocurrency market, people says it will take over bitcoin soon.
But to me is that going to be possible, I took bitcoin years to reach were it is now and as the best coin in market and the first cryptocurrency its not that possible.
Lots of coin wit great ambitions have come knocking to take over from bitcoin but non could.
Will Libra be able to do so?
Centralized coin vs decentralized coin. Which one do you think is going to win? Which one do you think will give you more freedom? Which one do you think fulfills the main goal of crypto currencies? It obviously is the decentralized coin that is bitcoin. There is no way Libra will dominate the crypto currency market. Libra is just going to help give more exposure to bitcoin indirectly, which in turn will help adopt crypto currencies.
4279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: June 20, 2019, 07:01:17 PM
GlobalCoin is coming. What are your thoughts on this new Facebook-made altcoin? What have you heard about it?

Share your first impression!
Not very impressed with it. I wouldn't even call it an alt coin. They are just some centralized coin. I don't see much difference between Libra payment system and Paypal. The only main difference is that facebook will be using the blockchain technology. If I am not wrong, even the price will be 1:1 in terms of USD. Was never a huge fan of centralized coin. Though this might help people to better understand the blockchain technology. So yeah, we do have some good sides over here.
4280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ripple Is Hated By Crypto Community? on: June 20, 2019, 06:57:45 PM
After 2 Years In Crypto Space  I Realize That Most Hated Coin Is Ripple (Other Than BSV).

My Question Is Why? I Didn't See Anything Wrong With Them, They're Kinda Centralized And Was Created For The Bank And They Mention It Clearly.

Is It Because They Cooperating With bank(It Kinda Destroy The Purpose of Crypto)?

Is It because They're Centralized?

Is It Because Their Consensus Protocol Still Rely on trust?

What Is Your Opinion?

XRP is the coin that is hated most which was created by Ripple Labs. Most of the reasons you mention is right. First of all they are some what centralized coin. More than half of the coins are owned by Ripple themselves. So the Ripple owners has the potential to easily manipulate the price according to their own will. Again, they are operating with banks. Crypto currencies like bitcoin was made to remove third party financial institution like Banks. XRP does the exact opposite thing. And then there are people who hate XRP because most of the people hate it :p .
