Finally the Barcelona we missed to watch is back! Today they defeated Sevilla much easier than I expected. The game was under control of Barcelona most of the time and they scored three goals in this period of time. Lewandowski scored another one here. Kounde was really impressive today by making two assists and having the biggest role in this comfortable win. Barcelona must be delighted with being able to register him to the La Liga in time. This season is going to be really lovely thanks to the competition between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

This is the second week in a row that Bayern Munich are losing points. This time they tried everything they could against Union Berlin but the game still ended up with a 1-1 draw. However we should take something into account also that Union Berlin started really great to the new season. Even though they had a difficult job they still managed to keep their opponent at only one goal. However this doesn't change too much about Bayern Munich. They are still the most credible team in the league to win the title of course.

Manchester City sometimes surprise us very much by the results they get. Considering their effort this was definitely a game that they should have won. However Aston Villa could have even won instead if they didn't waste a big chance in the last minutes. They could really have punished Manchester City for wasting all the opportunities generously. Except Arsenal I don't see a very consistent team so far. Actually Manchester City are consistent with their game but we don't see it reflecting on the score all the time.

Indeed Lukaku can't be the main reason. I just thought that they were a great duo with Martinez and the absence of one of them isn't good for the team in terms of productivity. Inter are just different than the previous season so far. They are having more problems in the big games like this one. These are very important games for Inter if they want to stay in the competition for the league title. Not much thing has changed for Milan since the previous season as it seems. They are still in a pretty solid shape.

It wasn't the most efficient game for Real Madrid as they had 4 shots on goal out of 22 shots in total. But they still won against Betis by 2-1. It was of course a deserved win as the game was under control for them. It is 4 wins in 4 games now for Real Madrid and they continue to show an impressive performance in every single game. Ancelotti's system is working amazing like in the previous season. Let's see how Barcelona will answer this in the Sevilla game today. I'm looking forward to seeing the trio doing their work very well again. Lewandowski is in a great form recently.

Leverkusen - Freiburg game was like a joke to me.    Maybe my prediction like double chance on Freiburg was correct but I wasn't expecting a game like this. Freiburg had only 3 shots on goal and all of them ended up with goals. Leverkusen found many more chances but they weren't as effective as Freiburg. The nightmare persists for Leverkusen as this was their 4th loss in their 5th game in the league. They still have a decent lineup but something is still not right about the team. If their season ends very badly for them then it is likely for them to lose their best players like Schick I think.

Lukaku's absence was one of the factors for Inter's losing to Milan today maybe. But I must really admit that Milan deserved this win from the start to the end. While I was waiting for a way different game than this Milan showed it easier by bringing the score to 3-1 first. Inter lost their second biggest game of the season as well. This season didn't start well for them but they would get better in time. Until then Milan, Atalanta and Roma might be in a close competition as they are the teams that have made the best starts.

Honestly I think that Chelsea got a quite lucky win at the same time. Because West Ham really had a chance to even win this game. They wasted a huge opportunity after the score was 1-1. That was definitely the turning point of the game. West Ham's goal was not surprising. We were already used to seeing them scoring from corners. Chelsea tried the same with many corners but West Ham were successful after only two corners. This was an important win for Chelsea to improve their morale after the Southampton loss. I can't wait to see Aubameyang starting to play as well. This means a lot to the Chelsea attacking line.

PSV are playing an away game against Twente today. This is the first serious game PSV are going to have in this season. Twente have been a problematic opponent for PSV in the recent times. I mean that Twente drew with them in this stadium in the last three games in the Eredivisie. And they didn't make a bad start to the current season as well. I'm aware of the fact that PSV scored 22 goals in 4 games already which shows how strong they are in offense. But this can be misleading also as for the bigger games.

There is a PSG example for that. They also were having a similar form but Monaco stopped them suddenly by a 1-1 draw in the Ligue 1. Twente might do the same to PSV therefore I'm thinking of placing a bet on both teams to score @1.51.

Actually there are three lovely games on the same day.

I think Real Madrid and Barcelona can defeat Betis and Sevilla respectively. Betis aren't an easy target for Real Madrid but playing in Bernabeu is an extra advantage to win this. But this win might be by a really small gap considering their last head-to-heads. Betis have collected 9 points like them so far as well. I'm expecting a score like 2-1. It is the same for Barcelona too. Sevilla didn't make a great start but they are still a dangerous opponent. Barcelona couldn't beat them here last season as well but there was Koeman who was managing the team then. For the Atletico Madrid game it is hard to predict how it would end. I'd prefer both teams to score for that.

What an interesting start to this match week!

We have a Merseyside derby in Goodison Park. Liverpool struggled to beat their opponent here most of the time. I remember their last game which Liverpool won by 4-1 of course. However Liverpool's performance is not that credible at the moment. It hasn't been much time since they started to recover. But some defensive problems were still visible in the Newcastle game which they hardly won by 2-1 after a goal in the last moments. Everton are like one of the worst teams in the league now. But we never know what they are capable of as for the derby games.

Therefore I thought that it was better to stay away from betting on Liverpool. I decided to go for both teams to score instead.

It is lovely to start seeing a competition between Lewandowski and Benzema for being the top scorer already now. Lewandowski has impressed the fans by starting to perform this much good in the early stages of the season. Barcelona will need this effort throughout the season to keep up with Real Madrid easier. There is going to be a huge tactical war between Xavi and Ancelotti this season. The nearest El Clasico in the league is on October 16 and it is in Santiago Bernabeu. Especially this game will give us a more solid idea about the current strength of both teams.

Juventus are going to face Fiorentina in the opening game of the week. It is going to be a really tough away game for them above all else. Fiorentina have been making difficulties for them quite much in the games in this stadium. However I feel like Juventus will have revenge on their last game here which ended 2-0. They are still having some problems with getting comfortable wins these days. But I think the win against Spezia will boost their morale for this one.

I'm expecting a very close game and a win by one goal for Juventus. However I'd rather bet on Juventus directly @2.40 instead of betting on handicap.

It is really interesting that Leverkusen's winning odd is 1.69 against Freiburg. Because Leverkusen are in a pretty bad shape these days. They finally won a game in the league after a three-week break. Freiburg are in a much better condition. They are not so different than last season. They might be the second most consistent team after Bayern Munich comparing to last season. Leverkusen won the last game here by 2-1 but Leverkusen weren't performing this badly then. Maybe I can give a chance to Freiburg's double chance @1.80.

About the Arsenal game it is a really difficult one for Manchester United. It might even be more problematic for them than the Liverpool game. The reason is that Liverpool were also in a bad form then and Manchester United managed to use this in favour of themselves superbly. But Arsenal are the leader in the league right now. They are the only team that have won all of their league games so far. Arsenal attackers are very impressive recently so Manchester United will need to focus on their defense more. Manchester United shouldn't play a defensive game if they get ahead first too. Because Arsenal can punish them easily which is very common thing they do in their recent games.

We are going to have a huge match like Milan - Inter in two days. This is like a championship match and it is really early in the season. We see that these sides have made similar starts to the season. Milan could have won the Atalanta and Sassuolo games too actually but their decent effort was still not enough to do that. Inter got a loss against Lazio only and they are doing pretty good normally. It is really hard to pick a side to bet on now. But I believe both sides will score goals easily so BTTS could be a nice choice @1.63.

These wins are refreshing the self-confidence of Manchester United players. They have been winning for three weeks in the league. Even though two of these games weren't against too difficult opponents maybe these results can motivate them better for the Arsenal game ahead. We didn't see Ronaldo in the starting eleven again as usual because he is still on the news. There is still a possibility for him to go to some other team if he finds a team for himself. Erik ten Hag is doing the right thing now. Apart from that I'm happy for not seeing Maguire in the lineup anymore. They haven't lost any points since he was out.

Lens are the most interesting team after we have left five weeks behind. They have collected the same points with PSG and Marseille so far without losing a single game. Among these victories, there are ones against strong teams like Rennes and Monaco as well. Maybe those two didn't start very well but they are normally not easy opponents in the end. However I wonder how much Lens can be consistent in this season. Because they seemed determined last season as well but started to perform worse in time.

The fixture intensity is going to be higher after the Champions League starts. But I still don't expect it to be affect Bayern Munich very negatively. If they aren't affected much by Lewandowski's arrival then they can deal with a little more intense schedule as well. Therefore it is very difficult for any other team in the Bundesliga to put up a big fight against Bayern Munich to achieve the title. The Bundesliga is just in Bayern Munich's hands and the only way the work of things to change is their losing their discipline and struggling to have it back.

I don't see any defect in Benzema's game these days. He scored 3 goals in 3 league games already. Real Madrid just hope him to finish the chances with goals and nothing more than that. But he can still play extra like he did last season. He had so many assists as you remember and significant amount of them were to Vinicius Jr. They are doing great together and I don't think that Real Madrid would make a change there that easy. Benzema would continue to play as the main striker until he starts becoming not useful.
