4261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 29, 2022, 02:15:08 PM
It could have a rematch (even if there is no written clause in the initial contract), if the fight is going to be razor sharp close or maybe even in a draw.

But if it's a convincing win, then maybe not, but if there is a huge money involved then again, they could go and fight one more before going up in weight. So I guess the fans will also have a final say and maybe the promoters are going to take that lead from us if they see a demand for it.

We never know, because that always depends on the winner if he will give a rematch, that's why to ensure a rematch will happen, it should be written in the contract. One example is the fight between Mayweather and Pacman, for some, they think it was a close fight, and both could make huge money again if Mayweather gave a rematch, but he choose not to fight again just to ensure he will keep his undefeated record.

Right, I would say that the public will demand for it if the fight is close, but we will have to see how the first fight is going to be good. Although they have both plans to move up in 154 lbs chances are they will have to wait for the pulse of the boxing fans regardless of who is going to win. Mayweather is afraid that he will lost in the rematch because Manny is not 100% that's why he refuses and just ok with doing some exhibitions to make the same money, less risk for Floyd.

There’s no doubt about the performance of TNT in game 4, in almost field they work great and with SMB struggling with their passes and offense, the result is too bad for them. The series is tied what we can expect next is both team will surely want to take the lead and only those who work hard and execute their strategy well will surely win, fixing game is not real in a series like this, and let’s see who will take the game 5 because right now it’s really hard to predict.

SMB should fix that problem. Also, the one where June Mar is trapped inside, and the ball is getting stolen by smaller guards. It is their time to adjust now because TNT seems to find that sweet spot where they can defend the onslaught of June Mar. They also should limit their turnovers. TNT was able to convert 15 pts from turnovers. They also have 17 points from the fast break. I think we will see big adjustments from the side of San Miguel to address that problem coming from TNT.
SMB has a good coaching staff and most probably they saw that problem that occur on their last game, they will adjust accordingly. With TNT, for sure they will continue to play that good strategy and have neck and neck fight with SMB, game 5 can be more thrilling and I can see a point of 200+ again in the game 5. This is a high scoring game with great team, who ever take the lead for sure will have more confident getting into game 6, for now let's focus on the odds first for the game 5.
Both have an outstanding coaches, they will do everything to win that's why the series is very close. We are now tied with 2-2 score, so games going forward should be very exciting to watch. Next game will be this coming Wednesday, there's no odds yet, but I'm sure it will not be -3.5 TNT, maybe SMB will be the favorite next game.

I think it will still be SMB as the favorite in the next game even if they lost the previous games. Again I'm not going to be surprised if this series is extending to game 7. And I would say it is a balance series obviously, no one has the upper hand and it's a gam of momentum. And probably boils down as who wanted to win this series and raised the trophy. So it's going to be a battle of defense and their best players performing above, JMF for SMB and Castro for TNT.
4263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 29, 2022, 09:11:50 AM
I usually don't bother my self about BTC price but always keep update with news.

Good for you.

But yet I decided to take a look at the price chart, then I saw that BTC price has broke the support for $20,700, the direction of the market has turned bearish and the next support should be seen in the $18k / $19k  area. There may be a continuous downward movement this weekend. Trade with mindfulness and add a stop loss in all trades.

It looks like we have broken the big mental support of $20k, and usually when it does, the price will definitely go down. A lot of selling pressures in the last 24 hours.

If it happens that Bitcoin goes down to $18 or 19k, that will be the last time it will go that low this year, what do you guys think about this (Bitcoin experts in the forum)?

I'm no expert but I don't think that we will go super bearish and hit another low this year. $17,500 might be the lowest in this bear market. So far the price have jump from the lows of $19k to highs and hopefully we can go back to $20k again.
4264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you exchange Fiat for Crypto or Vice Versa? on: August 29, 2022, 08:23:11 AM
Whether you work for Fiat or Crypto, most people have to exchange in order to pay bills or survive.

What's your Fiat/Crypto situation?

We are just lucky that we have a local crypto exchange that we can used to pay our bills, internet, phone, water and even electricity bill and to some extend credit cards as well.

So yes, I used crypto->fiat at least once a month. But not all my crypto are in that exchange, I just transfer if I needed to use this services like in the pandemic. As we have said, BYOB and have a wallet that you can. total control of.
4265  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 29, 2022, 07:44:39 AM

As far as I know, guranteed na may matatangap ang player, nasa contract nila ito regardless of injury so may sweldo parin sya kahit hindi naglalaro.

Although na settle naman out of court at nagkabayaran.

There are reports that Carmelo might go back to the Knicks as he shows intention that he wanted to play in that City.

He was even a surprised guest in the VMA awards night.

“According to a recent report, forward Carmelo Anthony has interest in returning to the New York Knicks.

“‘I have certainly heard that Carmelo’s got interest in a reunion,’ NBA insider Jake Fischer said. ‘I don’t know if the Knicks have much interest there.'”

Who knows, maybe he will retire as a Knicks and could be offer as well a job after his NBA player career is over. Also, I think his presence as a veteran will be appreciated by the young Knicks. As CP3 said, he is a fan of Udonis Haslem because "young guys needs vets."
4267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 29, 2022, 06:28:31 AM
We can check that on his record - https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659771

Lomachenko only lost to 2 fighters of the total 18 fights he had.

1st - Orlando Salido via split decision
2nd - Teofimo Lopez via unanimous decision.
IMO the first lost is because he's too young to face very experienced boxer since Orlando Salido have fought 55 times while it's the second fight for Lomachenko. The second lost is due to his injury as we can see Lomachenko is very weird on the first sixth rounds, he's like a different person. What I know Lomachenko is a flash since he is vigorous, quick and unpredictable as he like to change his stance.

Right, that was just his second fight in his career but was match against the more experienced Salido. But I guess it did good for Loam in the long term, as his eyes is open to the professional world of boxing, as we all know that he has an extensive experience as an amateur. And after that lost to Salido he won successively becoming a champion and then lost to Lopez later and then we just know that he has a shoulder injury in their fight. But a healthy version of Loma is almost unbeatable.
4268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 29, 2022, 03:39:29 AM
It seems that we have a good fight last night, Commey vs Pedraza battling it out for a split draw. I was waiting for this fight but it seems that the fight started late as I expected so I didn't see it. And so I was surprised to see how the fight turns out. It seems to be the favorite Pedraza rallied in the last 4 rounds to force that verdict. Commey suffered a cut and they Pedraza take advantage of it to somewhat get out of the eventual lost. Scores where: Judge Henry Gueary scored for Pedraza, 97-93, David Sutherland scored it 96-94 Commey and Judge Gary Ritter scored it 95-95.
4269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 29, 2022, 03:18:47 AM
Only if our very own Casimero could have fight and bet Paul Butler, he should be the one fighting here. In any case, this is for all the belts and as his monicker, the Monster, it will be hard pressed to see an upset here. I think almost all the advantage is for Inoue. But I would still love to see Inoue vs Casimero whether in this weight class or in the next. Butler's chin is going to be tested here and hopefully if can hold against the best bantamweight right now, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a knockout.
4270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK on: August 29, 2022, 02:58:56 AM
I saw this on my feed,

Report: Fury-Usyk Targeted For February, Super Bowl Weekend, In Middle East; 50-50 Purse Split ‘Is A Given’

Quote
According to Mark Kriegel of ESPN, the heavyweight title unification bout between WBC champion Tyson Fury of England and WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine may air on the same weekend––or the week after––of the NFL’s 57th Super Bowl, with the Middle East as the "most likely" location for the fight.

Kriegel, citing unnamed sources and conversations with Bob Arum, the head of Top Rank which promotes Fury, sounded a note of optimism about the chances for seeing the historic match-up, especially because, according to Kriegel, there does not appear to be any disagreement regarding the purse split for the fighters. An Usyk-Fury fight would have to be televised by ESPN, as the network has an exclusive broadcasting arrangement with Top Rank

https://www.boxingscene.com/report-fury-usyk-targeted-february-super-bowl-weekend-middle-east-50-50-purse-split-given--168679

And they have negotiated now? But let's see, it's on the week of the biggest sporting event in the US, although the venue of the fight will be in the Middle East.

So I'm not sure how it will sit up with their fans who want to watch the fight at least live. Nevertheless, their is PPV so it could be the best options for US fans.
4271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Use of cryptobots on: August 28, 2022, 11:29:46 AM
Good day to you all
More and more tempted to test cryptorobots
I understand that this is not a passive method of earning, but it can automate routine tasks of a trader
Plus,a human can not keep track of so many charts of different cryptocurrencies 24 hours a day,in contrast to the bot
Does anyone have any real experience using these cryptorobots?
If yes,please share your experience

Thanks

You mean trading bots? One of the best well-known bots is  [GUNBOT] Trading Bot with 136 exchanges available!!!. I'm almost tempted to buy it before, but I decided not to. Anyhow, just remember that all the parameters is still going to be set by you, so if you don't have experience in trading then for sure you might lose money. So they are not a guarantee for a passive income as you might think of, just saying.
4272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How will you handle this case on: August 28, 2022, 10:46:23 AM
I don't know how to handle this case, I have two junior brothers in my small town who lives opposite to my house, one help the other to create a trust wallet and 100$ worth of Ethereum was deposited into the wallet, two days later the fund was moved out to am unknown address, after asking few questions from the wallet owner I found out that the other guy has access to the wallet too, I believe he did the dirty trick because he never warned the wallet owner to never share his recovery seed with anyone..if you are in my shoe what will you do..

You are in the dilemma here, but if I'm in your case, then it is better to take to the one that you suspected and confront him if ever he is the one who move the money or not. And just think that the money is gone now for sure because I doubt that who ever moved it out has the intention to bring it back.

So this is another expensive lessons, and to be honest, I can't imagine the 'brother' trying to scam the other one. So it's better to start all over again I guess. Perhaps he can start small, not necessarily $100, but maybe just $10 or at least what he can afford to invest but this time, he is now equipped with the knowledge that private keys and mnemonic phrase are very important and should not be disclosed even to his 'brother'.
4273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dip, Dipper, Dippest on: August 28, 2022, 10:17:11 AM
A couple of weeks ago I was excited that bitcoin price had gained 23k+. I was positive that it was going to at least stay steady at that point for some and the go up gradually, but boy was I wrong. On Twitter this user - Richard Heart, tweeted "Pray that #Bitcoin doesn't hit $11,000. For if it does, the sound of me patting myself on the back will be heard around the world."(What does this even mean?). Anyways, I decided to open my Binance app(I do not check the price daily. Is this normal?) only to find out that the price has plummeted to 20k. Honestly, I am not perturbed at all because I am a long term hodler. But why can't the price stay steady? Are we moving towards the dippest part of the dip? Just wanna know your thoughts. Thank you.

I'm not that affected with some random tweets though, market is very volatile, that's why we won't see the price stabilizing. Maybe some sideway patterns with no movement, but still it won't last that long and it will eventually have to make a break out run, whether  going up (good), or down (bad).

And you still have to factor that we are still in the bear market so the price will definitely go down. We have hit the lowest low of $17,500 already. But if my chance the price still go go below that price then as a long term hodler, then take that opporunity.
4274  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 28, 2022, 09:52:08 AM

Quote
Chet Holmgren, the Oklahoma City Thunder's No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, will miss the entire 2022-23 season, the team announced Thursday. Holmgren suffered a Lisfranc injury to his right foot.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/chet-holmgren-injury-update-thunder-rookie-out-entire-2022-23-season-after-hurting-right-foot-at-pro-am/

As far as I know, guranteed na may matatangap ang player, nasa contract nila ito regardless of injury so may sweldo parin sya kahit hindi naglalaro.

Although na settle naman out of court at nagkabayaran.

So tuloy parin ang sweldo ni Chet pero syempre gusto natin syang makitang maglaro at mahusgahan kung karapat dapat ng top 2 pick sa draft this year.
4275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy coins at 17k weeks ago could be the best time to buy on: August 28, 2022, 04:02:11 AM
If we keep on testing this support continually and market declines you all might get a second chance on buying the lower prices anyway and it'll be hard to decide at that point same as it was last time.

If it's hard to decide, then maybe it's better to just buy in the dip or if the price is trading in a sideway patterns. No need to wait for the price to dip or go lower than the previous lows of $17,500 at it might not happen again so obviously others might be waiting for nothing. So I guess it's not that hard to decide, specially if you have the funds step aside for your bitcoin investment, then you can do monthly or weekly buys. And as we look at the price movement, most likely we will be in the sideways pattern, maybe at least up to next week. So just take a breathe and opportunity and it might not be offered to us again.

And just like that, the price goes down again, not sure if we touch $19k already, but it seems that we are going to break $20k barrier anytime soon, (hopefully it wont). Again, we look for this month as very bullish for us, and actually it did, went as high as $25k but now we are again in a precarious moment, that at any time, we will go below $20k again.

But let's just look at the positive side of another dip = another opportunity to buy bitcoin at a cheap price and no need to wait for $17k or even lower.
4276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: August 28, 2022, 03:44:59 AM
As far as I know, we're still in the bearish season but we still got no concrete idea of when the bull season will approach. When the price of Bitcoin strikes high and continues to rise along with potential altcoins, I believe that's the start of the bullish season. Everyone is awaiting for the bullish season but no one could really predict when will it happen.

Well if you have to look at previous history, after the block halving, the price will slowly. recovered and it could be the first sign that we might be starting a bull run. But it will not be immediate, as far as I can remember from 2020 that it took months before we can see jump in the price. It is also because that time that the pandemic has just started and the total picture started to emerge. So I will say that we bitcoin halving will be catalyst for the next bull run. And the schedule of the next bitcoin halving will be around May 2024 so mark it out on our calendar.
4277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 28, 2022, 03:19:06 AM
Game fixing is possible to make this a long series, if TNT wins game 4, the lowest possible games will be in 6 games. I like to believe in game fixing as well, so I'm with you on the prediction that TNT will win. Pogoy, Castro, and Williams, these are the big 3 that should contribute big time if they want to extend the series, because if SMB will win game 4, then this series will be close to being over.
I've also thought of this before, like every other season in the past. But let's take it that both teams really are great and they're playing accordingly.
These match-fixing is no longer a thing in the league and we've seen those players that have been involved with it but eventually those issues have died.

Sooner or later it will unravel itself, but we have heard this game fixing in the PBA for many years now and I would say that it could be real or just pure speculation.

Yes, definitely, they or we also wanted to see an extended series, game 7 all the way.

So another tough and close game I believed in game 4, and I would say that TNT will have to play hard if they want to make it 2-2. But I will still go and bet on the handicap and see how it goes live betting.

I also did vote for the Review sites and so far it is the majority. And I have seen the link given in this thread before so I must say it is a good source of review and you can see it is an unbiased review, at least this is how I see it. Of course, they reviewers will put their affiliate links but it's really up to you whether you want to sign under him or not. Signature campaigns might be good though, but if the campaign paused or discontinued maybe they can the numbers will not be design as obviously, their exposure here will no longer there. So new gamblers will not be aware of how good or bad but will rely on looking for reviews.
4279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 28, 2022, 02:12:56 AM
Yes, I also saw the video and it seems that when he lands, everything looks ok, but the injury is worst than we though as he will be out for the whole season. Nothing is to blame though, it was really a freak accident, however, the damage is too severe for him. He is still very young and that is a good thing for him. So it might not be a career ending. As others have said, he need to add some mass and muscle so that he can at least avoid this kind of injuries in his lower bodies.
It's something unusual, because his injury was serious, but his reaction was not so ""desperate""

Because depending of the severity (injury), after the incident the person may cry, fall to the ground immediately and not even be able to walk. (Of course, every human being reacts and tolerates pain totally differently from other people, this is relative).

The reaction that Chet had after the incident apparently proved to be something "normal" during the game, I never thought it was something that serious.

Maybe it was adrenaline pumping on is body that's why he didn't feel anything at the initial onset when he laid his feet on the ground, just limping. But the severity after is what really concern us fans because it was a season ending injury for him.

So for sure, part of his rehabilitation is to make his lower body train very hard so that he won't get any serious again when he plays. Although we all know that those who have this kind of injury can either return and make a huge comeback or their career stalls and never be the same player they used to be.
4280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 28, 2022, 01:28:47 AM
My personal opinion is that this is not related to gambling per se, maybe they just strike this operators with what the criminals do -easy money. And if we are talking about careers then definitely you can call them as career criminals. And with that, anything that they think they can make quick money without getting caught and easy job for them then they will do it regardless of what. You can even say that this is just a regular burglary as I have said, they are criminals so they are going to strike when ever and what ever, assuming that they "case the box". And so they can do with the money that they stole, either gambler or anything that suits their appetite.
