there are also sata to 6 pin pcie cables (if you need some tell it to me)

They quite hard to get, do you ship to Poland? If so, what's the cost per unit with shipping?

It's not going to happen for a while.

Somewhere between 4 to 6 weeks?

BKKCoins thanks for the info, withe the Y adapters I was only able to get 1 extra 5850 hooked up with 3x 7970s and a 6970. Still do not understand how I can get the 6th:(

Thx

You have 8 4-pin molex connectors and 12 sata connectors in that 1.5kW toughpower
(in theory), this is enough to power 4 extra GPUs from molex connectors through sth like this (molex to pci-e connectors):

And another 6 extra GPUs from sata to molex + molex to pci-e:

In this example I am assuming each GPU needs 2x6 pin pci-e connectors, there are molex to pci-e connectors which allow connection of two molex cables for stability, you can also find 2x molex to pci-e 8 pin connectors.

Would've forgotten.. even if you can it doesn't mean it is good to run 6 GPUs through sata, additional adapters increase resistance so it might not be very stable.

Does anyone know how to donate BTC to this group?

Thanks!

Hi,

I found this address in my wallet:

1hZP1SADL2s9v7xU5rcMaLjJ49zq2Ts3M

I think it is pretty anonymous. Smiley

+1

As for the part about different brands it is only the case of non-referent cards.

No, he failed but I have someone coming over tomorrow morning (once I add macos to the machine) and will fund btc via paxum->bitinstant->Mtgox right as its sold.
Any updates??? I'm sure you have other stuff you can sell to get the money Sad

Your charging $22.

I must agree, $22 is really a ripoff. But unfortunately that's what happens when there's little competition (plenty of riser suppliers but very few make ones with molex).
4290  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Steam Account - L4D, CS:S, Cod:4 ((2BTC)) on: February 05, 2012, 12:28:56 AM
buying steam account = ban of your legitimate account(s)

Huh
Care to elaborate?
I have juggled with half a dozen accounts and am using two now (one was bought) and no problems.
Yes, IF they find out you bought/sold an account it will probably be disabled... but unless zer0 posts the user name/nick name and someone  reports him to VALVe I see no problems whatsoever. Just wait at least a day before you log in after buying it if the buyer lives far away from zer0.
4291  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: PCIE risers on: February 05, 2012, 12:25:44 AM

Had the same thing happen to me but reason was slightly defective PSU (Corsair VX 550W) which was stressed too much ~100% for two weeks 24/7. No problems after switching to TX850V2 with same risers which were not the issue in my case, even though I have 3 GPUs like before and they draw more power (they're overvolted now).
4292  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Silk Road Research site legality on: February 04, 2012, 02:57:37 AM
Try tor2web.org
wow thanks! this is the first i've heard of this service

Be careful, if you are up to something illegal or you can face problems for viewing tor sites, don't use it, it is not safe.

Buy enough GPUs to perform a 51% attack! :>

Apart from that... start and promote businesses accepting and related to Bitcoin.
4294  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Multiple 5970, 6950, 5850 on: February 04, 2012, 02:48:27 AM
Really?  You think $120 for a direct CU 5850 is a bad deal?  (I am excluding the shipping cost)
$200 for a 6950 flashed to 6970 is too much when they are selling on Ebay for upwards of $230?

I wasn't entirely serious Tongue I think your prices for 5850s and 6950s are fine.
How much would it cost to ship to Europe (2x6950 to Poland)?
4295  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Wind generator 2kW for €2000 - is it worth it? on: February 04, 2012, 02:32:43 AM

Dzieki za rzeczowa odpowiedz, ja wlasnie dopiero niedawno sie tym zainteresowalem ;-)
Cena tez mi sie rzucila w oczy, bo te 'duze' wiatraki kosztuje zazwyczaj ok. 20 mln (mialem zaproszenie pol roku do wspolinwestowania w firme stawiajaca takie wiatraki).
Bede musial zglebic temat.

How many codes do you have? I can offer 0.5 BTC each.
4297  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Wind generator 2kW for €2000 - is it worth it? on: February 03, 2012, 07:27:08 PM
I found this:

http://allegro.pl/wiatrak-2kw-elektrownia-turbina-wiatrowa-generator-i2040125481.html

It is supposed to deliver 2kW of power and it costs ~€2000. AFAIK all wind generation is only used because it is heavily subsidized by governments but maybe this would be of better use? It probably depends where one lives, I have a house by the Baltic sea, maybe I should buy this generator and place my rigs there?
4298  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Multiple 5970, 6950, 5850 on: February 03, 2012, 05:28:39 PM
The prices are per card, FYI.

 Embarrassed
4299  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: further improved phatk_dia kernel for Phoenix + SDK 2.6 - 2012-01-13 on: February 03, 2012, 03:21:20 PM
Now tried on 12.1 and SDK 2.6.

HD 6850 - 35 Mhash/s slower
5850s - 100Mhash/s slower

win7 64 pro
-k phatk AGGRESSION=12 VECTORS2 WORKSIZE=128

5850s are 80 Mhash/s slower if I turn the 6850 off
a solo 5850 will be only 5-8 Mhash/s slower if ran on its own
6850 3 Mhash/s slower when ran on its own

only solution was to run miner on all 4 cores, instead of 1 but then it is utilized in 50-75% (=more heat)
only then I get 5-8Mh/s less

any ideas?

I already have cards mining, and when the Bitforce box arrives I'll just be selling the cards and replacing them, so I'm not missing out on anything.

Can you give me an interest-free 3-month loan?
