4281  Economy / Currency exchange / [H] 400$ BTC [W] Skrill/Paysera on: July 05, 2019, 01:48:41 PM
I have 400$ in BTC and I would like to have Skrill or Paysera for 1:1 (preev).

As usual, I'm not doing any trades with newbies or untrusted members. Minimum trade amount is 150$.

4284  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: July 04, 2019, 04:51:38 PM
I suggest adding a link or at least an asterisk to the fees of any exchange with a coin that gives you lower fees (like Binance and BNB).
4285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to give physical bitcoin? on: July 04, 2019, 03:07:21 PM
You can use OpenDimes. It's basically a USB stick that you plug into your computer, you send funds to it, and then give it to someone. The wallet is sealed, and you can only spend the funds If you break some part of the stick. I suggest checking the videos on the site.
4286  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Easiest way to purchase BTC nowadays? on: July 03, 2019, 02:55:29 PM
- Use Localbitcoins or Mycelium local trader and trade with people face to face.
- Bitcoin ATMs, no KYC is needed until you reach a certain limit (which can easily be bypassed by using multiple phones numbers).
- Buy bitcoin using Western Union, Skrill, PayPal, Neteller, etc. on Paxful (limited) or here on the forums (better solution but hard, as you'll be using reversible payment methods and people don't trust newbies).

I'm still not sure If LB has mandatory KYC. As for Paxful, I believe after trading anything above 1000$ you'll have to verify your account.

For KYC exchanges, I'm not sure about the time for KYC except for Coinmama, it's less than 15 minutes. Other reputable exchanges are Coinbase, BitPanda, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, and Kraken.
4287  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Payments for Digital Content on: July 03, 2019, 01:24:06 PM
If the webpage only changes after the transaction gets one confirmation, from a UX perspective, I would suggest changing it so there is a progress bar or a message indicating that the funds have been received and that the user must wait for one transaction before receiving his digital goods.

You could also start supporting (If not doing so, already) selling keys, invites and gift cards. Auto buy links are often associated with scams though, so implementing a trust/reputation system that cannot be easily abused should be implemented.
4288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for newbies on: July 03, 2019, 08:22:25 AM
We want to save funds without any risks. That's why hardware wallet is extremely important. But to exchange, exchange is needed. We can get a lot of protection from malware by trusted exchanges. If newbie look into these two issues, he/she will be able to save the capital and sleep in peace at night. They must be kept in mind

Do you? If your computer and phone are infected, there is nothing keeping the hacker from getting access to your accounts/wallets.

Hello everyone, please advise me how to write to the user if he has restricted sending messages from new users?

You will have to rank up, start by reading this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Your question is off topic though, please make sure to ask in relevant threads or make a new topic next time.
4289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: changelly.com is scammer ? on: July 03, 2019, 07:43:42 AM
Shapeshift might be a good alternative even though now they require KYC because of the authorities forcing them to do so it still a reliable exchange where you can buy BTC with your credit card. If you are looking for any websites where you can buy cryptocurrencies with credit card that don't require KYC I'm afraid that there is no option for that at least a reliable one.

There are a few like Virwox but you'll certainly have to deal with some limits. An alternative would be to use Neteller as your credit card provider and use the C2C feature to trade with other individuals.
4290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A pravobly fair exchange site? on: July 02, 2019, 04:41:17 PM
I'm almost certain that provably fair is a term used in online gambling and not with exchanges and trading platforms.  Huh

Cobinhood is the only exchange with no trading fees, but not that recommended as there aren't many coins supported. I would suggest using Binance with BNB to get better fees.
4291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: changelly.com is scammer ? on: July 02, 2019, 08:09:53 AM
They're still running, but there have been some scam accusations in the past that would make you think twice about using them.

Even with that aside, I wouldn't suggest using them to buy using credit cards, as they are using Simplex (third-party service) to process the payments, and that means more fees for you. Try Coinmama, Coinbase, BitPanda or CEX.io.
4292  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum wallet on: July 01, 2019, 05:49:07 PM
Where did you download it from? Make sure it's from this here: https://electrum.org/#download

Download the "Windows Installer", and double click it. Everything else should be self-explanatory.

Maximum dimensions are set to 120px wide, 80px tall. Size shouldn't be more than 100KB.

You cannot upload any avatar picture until you reach Full member rank though. You can see the benefits of being a copper member here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4662003.0;topicseen
4295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: July 01, 2019, 07:37:02 AM
Your losses have more to do with the unpredictable price and your trading methods and less to do with the trading platform used so unless you're looking for a specific feature that you might think will help you... I don't think changing the platform will do much to you.
4296  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitCoinOfAmerica IS SCAM ! THEY SCAM ME WITH 2450$ USD on: June 30, 2019, 05:10:49 PM
I doubt they are a scam. According to CoinATMRadar, they have over 300 ATMs.

I'm pretty sure that not all ATM manufacturer and operators operate the same way between each other but personally, when I had an issue, the operator (forgot its name) had a number and email on the ATM to contact in case of issues (theirs)... then I learned that what they basically do is contact the manufacturer (Bitaccess) regarding these problems so... I did that myself and it was much quicker.

Since Bitcoin of America is only an operator and assuming they operate with their manufacturer the same way I explained above, it's very likely that's the reason why they are taking so much time to respond.
4297  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - "Earn 8% dividend a year with no risks" on: June 30, 2019, 03:17:42 PM
You can find some testimonials of people who used them on the website (linking to Twitter) and with the money they are putting on marketing, I won't be surprised If the statistics on their website regarding the users, etc.. are accurate as I've seen them being advertised on Facebook, CoinMarketCap, Etherscan, and some other big sites. Personally though, I wouldn't suggest the service to anyone simply because of the irreversible nature of cryptocurrencies. This is no different from exchanges controlling your private keys, I don't see why would anyone want to risk their funds... there is always a possibility of inside jobs, hacks, etc.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Diamond Fork. on: June 30, 2019, 08:53:27 AM
You have dig.walleting.services. It's an easy process to follow but they take 10% fees...might be high, but it's still less risky then finding an individual to do it for you, especially If the amount is big.

I'm using Firefox and it's working perfectly fine. I doubt it has something to do with your browser though, otherwise, you would've had multiple pages having a problem loading.
