Atalanta surprised most people today by drawing with Cremonese. After that great form this was very unexpected. Cremonese are one of the weakest teams of the league in the end. Atalanta might have underestimated them in this game or they were too unlucky. Lazio are hosting Verona now and they still haven't been able to score. They are showing a higher level of performance than their opponent. But it looks like Lazio need to do better than this not to have the same fate with Atalanta today. I still expect Lazio to win this.

Real Madrid made me nervous first after Mallorca got 1-0 ahead. But their comeback was incredibly good indeed. They won 4-1 at the end and they are continuing to ressure their fans about this season. They don't have so many serious opponents in the league currently already. Barcelona are the most serious one obviously but they are powerful enough to beat everyone else left without caring about home or away games.
However the tightness of the fixture will be a big obstacle for not only them but also Barcelona which are their biggest rival for the title this season. We will see which side will handle this situation the best. I expect these two teams to pull away from the rest of the teams in the league many weeks before the final week of the season.

Nunez also has enough time to think about his performance so far now. His performance is very important for the team after Mane's departure. While Salah is also not doing good these days Nunez should be able to do something extra for the team. He needs to improve his scoring capability by the upcoming games. If Liverpool are still struggling at defense then they must be better at attacking at least. Otherwise poor results will continue to come for them. I don't even know when they started to weaken in defense this much.

Lewandowski is such a special player and he showed this once again today. He entered the game in the 57th minute and made a huge impact on the game. He scored one goal and made two assists which helped Barcelona win by 4-0. Cadiz didn't even show much existence against them. They were already the poorest team of the league of course. Lewandowski has 6 goals and 2 assists in his 5th game already. This has removed all of the question marks from minds about if he would easily adapt to the league and the team both.

I don't understand how come Bayern Munich lost two points against Stuttgart as well. They conceded the equalizer in the final moments and couldn't react to that goal I'm afraid. I trusted their win and added to my betslip. But they failed hard. They had some of the main starting eleven players in the subs also and we saw them entering later in the second half. But no matter they rotated the squad a little they should have still been able to win against a team like Stuttgart in Allianz Arena. There is no excuse of this point loss. It is their third draw in a row in the league which is alarming.
Stuttgart gave Bayern a run for their money today and I today loved it despite the end result being a draw.I'm starting to believe that Bayern's lackluster performance in their last three games was caused by Lewandowsky leaving the club, but might it also be because their opponents are getting stronger? Now, it is no longer business as usual for Bayern because if they don't sit up, they will lose the Bundesliga this season. They better not be cocky. Bayern Munich are still keeping their dominance but things are much more difficult when it comes to finding goals easily. Lewandowski's absence is definitely a big factor in this. Because he had a significant level of contribution in nearly all of their games here before. At least they can defend their opponents better but they can't even do this. Stuttgart are not even close to their level normally. But even they are able to steal a point from them in Allianz Arena. This season might go on harder than we think for Bayern Munich.

Chelsea needs a solid replacement for Lukaku but the club have not been able to get a suitable replacement for him, some names like Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Richarlison were targets in the summer window but none worked out, luckily they got Aubameyang before the deadline. Chelsea fans can only hope Aubameyang can deliver and be the game changer the club so desparately needs.
It was a decision made very quickly by Chelsea indeed. Normally they would have allocate a lot of time to think of the right transfer for this position. But they focused on signing defenders mainly while they needed a solid striker the most. They realized this very late and they had to act fast as a result. Aubameyang is still a good transfer of course but they had a lot of money to spend on a striker at the same time. If they had more time they could have made a bigger signing. Maybe we might see a move in January depending on his performance level.

Brighton have lost their manager not much time after making a great start to the season. They are only two points behind the leader in the standings now. After Graham Potter has left the team I wonder how strong they will continue to play. The interim manager will be expected to maintain the same strategies for the team as they were working very well. Besides I wonder if Graham Potter will manage to continue from where he left at Chelsea as well. He knows this league well but he is managing a big team for the first time. He will be under pressure a lot.

It was lovely to watch Leclerc taking the pole position without caring about Verstappen had a grid penalty or not. This must have made the Tifosi very excited for the race. This is a really solid signal to be competitive in the race however it is still not clear whether we will see durability problems for Ferrari again. If Leclerc doesn't have a consistent race then Verstappen would take the lead and open the gap very much in no time. Hopefully Ferrari have prepared well for this race. If Leclerc experiences the same thing again then it will be a huge disappointment after all those expectations.

Barcelona did the thing most of us expected and made some rotation in the starting eleven. I see Bellerin in his first game here too. Lewandowski is waiting in the subs to be subbed in if the team have difficulties in getting ahead against Cadiz. It is a good opportunity for Depay to show a good performance as well. He was already doing well before Lewandowski came. So he is definitely a reliable striker when he is needed. I think that he will score in this one and Barcelona will win this game.

These are still active moments for Newcastle. They have reached an agreement with Karius and very close to finishing Grimaldo deal as well. Maybe these are still not incredible transfers for them considering the enormous transfer budget they have currently. But they are building a squad which is of decent quality to have a better season. For now things aren't well for them after getting 4 draws in 6 games. They are trying to create a solution to this by making good transfers. Grimaldo is a good choice but I don't know about Karius. He doesn't have a good past with Liverpool.

Barcelona are going to play a really tough Champions League game against Bayern Munich in Germany by only a two-day break. Therefore I started to think about whether Xavi would rotate the squad for the Cadiz game today. I don't expect a big rotation of course but maybe he might do so a little. Or he can try to finish the game early and sub off the most important players earlier. Cadiz are the worst now so it shouldn't be a big problem for Barcelona to finish the game early unless they get lucky.

That top transfers list is very limited actually. I don't know why Transfermarkt didn't add de Ligt as well for example. He was also transferred by Bayern Munich for a huge sum of money. I think that he is a way better defender than Fofana as well. I still think that it might have been more profitable for Chelsea if they went for Ake instead of Fofana. They didn't need to spend this much money to sign a centre-back. They were mainly in need of a centre-forward then and they had decent centre-backs in the team already.

Manchester United have had a really good run in the recent times and they are on a winning streak of four games now. As their Crystal Palace game has been postponed they are going to face Leeds in Old Trafford next week. This break might be good for the team to stay focused on their road. They are doing very well recently in the league and they need to continue like this. The result they got in the Europa League shouldn't be any disturbance for them. Their priority is the Premier League this season.

Manchester City are shown as the biggest candidate to become the champions in this tournament now. Bookmakers are favouring them at the moment. It is easy to understand of course as they are too impressive after signing Haaland. They have a much stronger squad compared to the previous season especially thanks to him. Guardiola's system is already amazing as always. You might say that they couldn't become the champions last but it was a really unlucky journey for them. Real Madrid were nearly out of the Champions League but they made an epic comeback.
No wonder they are strong candidates now because there have been some improvements, especially in their attack, but actually things like this are quite natural for them because if we flashback to the previous few seasons also Manchester City have always been strong candidates in the Champions League and that's just " candidate" never came true because their best achievement only reached the final. It is true that they haven't achieved this title yet. However this doesn't mean that it would be the same scenario in this season as well. Besides they have even a more reliable attacking line thanks to Haaland now. They had unlucky times in the past. For example they lost to Chelsea in the finale despite showing a dominant performance. Last season they were eliminated by Real Madrid after miraculous goals in the last moments of the rematch. But I believe they can break a leg finally and win the title for once at least. And maybe this is their season.

I don't think that Chelsea are thinking of making a big striker signing for now. They have already signed Aubameyang and they would like to see his performance first. If he performs poorly until January then maybe they can try to go for a big transfer move. Ronaldo might be seen like an option but I don't think so. He would cost them too much and there is no guarantee if he would play better than Aubameyang.
By the way Aubameyang is really disappointed to see Tuchel being sacked. He came here for Tuchel in the end but the team are trying to reassure him for the time period ahead. Hopefully it wouldn't be a factor for him to start playing badly.

I think that Betis - Villarreal is going to be the most competitive game of the week.
They made similar starts to the season above all else. Both of them were really impressive last season and it is good to see them maintaining the same level now as well. Especially Villarreal have made a huge improvement in their La Liga performance. They really want to fight for top 4 to be a part of the Champions League once again. Bookmakers are favouring them by a slight gap. Their last head-to-head game here ended up with a 2-0 Villarreal win. However this time I think both teams can score at least one goal. Rather than betting on a side, I'll go for both teams to score @1.67.

There has been a huge decrease in Salah's performance since Mane left the team. This is one of the important factors for Liverpool to perform much better than now. When he plays as always the team also get more positive results. But now things are more difficult for Liverpool to be very productive in scoring goals regularly. They can't defend their opponents well at the same time. Under these conditions it is too difficult for them to have a proper season. Klopp must find a way to make the players happy again.
Liverpool are still mentally good. But we see their game performance dropped drastically. the physical appearance of the players does not seem to be in maximum performance. even in the Champions League Liverpool lost to Napoli. and in the premier league this season Liverpool didn't start well. In contrast to other teams, it is clear where the fault lies. but Liverpool is very difficult to analyze the cause of the decline in performance. But I'm sure it's not about mentality. because so far the Liverpool players have enough experience to maintain the mentality of the team. How come Liverpool are mentally good now? The mental condition of a team is very crucial for winning games and maintaining a good form. Considering the results Liverpool have got in the recent times it is obvious that they need to improve their morale a lot. Now they will have a good amount of time to focus on having a better mental. Because all games this week have been postponed to an unknown date. Klopp must organize a team meeting and talk about this situation seriously before their Ajax game next week.

It looks like the most competitive game of the week is Monaco - Lyon.
No side is a clear favourite. Monaco's odd is slightly lower than their opponent's. However they aren't a trustworthy team these days. They barely got their second win of the season after a long break. Their productivity is also doubtful. Lyon have made a better start than them but their last game was a big disappointment. This might affect them negatively maybe but they would still be ready for a big challenge. Lacazette's return has made the team stronger in attacking. Honestly both teams to score @1.45 might be the safest option for this game.
