4281  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 03, 2021, 04:01:49 AM
This is also my advice to others. If there is no urgent or emergency reason to convert your Bitcoin to fiat, don't do it. If you are only converting your Bitcoin because you are planning to buy the latest iPhone or an expensive bag or whatever unnecessary stuff, don't do it.

Please know that while you are squandering your Bitcoin, other people are saving really hard to be able to buy some. While you are mindlessly converting Bitcoin to fiat, others are borrowing money, selling stuff, and so on just to buy the dip. While you are buying the newly released gadgets using your Bitcoin savings, others are stacking Sats. Be like them!

You have a point but its their preference tho if they want to sell just to buy those "wants" . But as for me we do have same preference since i only sell if i really need it but i am not in the point of borrowing to others just to buy the dip, i just want to hold and thats the only money that i can afford to lose
4282  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: October 02, 2021, 07:21:22 AM
The benefit that I think I get from covid is that it gives me time to sit back and reflect on my current messy life. But it also took away so many other opportunities in life that I intended to take. But it is interesting that people are more interested in crypto when the epidemic breaks out.

I dont know if it is sad or what but it makes you ponder, makes your sadness as your strength. Your life is messy then fix it, how? Discover it while you have time , take risk . I also lost a job and i have a family to feed thats the time the pandemic hits and it makes me ponder that i really spending much money to not important things so now i am starting to got up and hoping that it would be successful soon. Good luck to your life we can do this !
4283  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 02, 2021, 03:03:02 AM
Yes , I totally agree bitcoin has changed my life a lot. Just to share my story because of this I can build my own house, buy what I like. I don't do this as my full time job but I have planned to do it before, now BTC has made my life easier and more fulfilling than ever, I believe that BTC will grow stronger to help many people with difficult lives become richer .

Wow! You have a lot of success! I planned to resign from my job in 2016 to pursue bitcoin full-time, but I regret not doing so because I haven't sent my resignation and have only been doing bitcoin in my spare time, which if I had done it full-time, I believe we would be where we are you right now, owning a home, but now I am back into bitcoin, earning not as much as before, but it could also save me in my daily needs, and we should be grateful for what we have.
4284  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: October 01, 2021, 04:49:02 PM
Smartphone users continue to increase and this is a good opportunity for us to create applications that we can insert ads so that anyone who downloads it then we can earn income, studying trends is important and I think a good theme during a pandemic like now is to make applications that related to health.

This one we really used it before making aps and adding ads. But now since the pandemic came a lot of people knows how to code since they have a lot of freetime so they learn a skills, apps is getting bigger and bigger also websites they just embeded apps and earning from it which is really success before but now it is very difficult since the competition is very high and you should have a nice niche to get or attract more people to go to your app or website
4285  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese loans leaves many countries in "hidden debts" on: October 01, 2021, 04:58:40 AM
Having said all these, is this a way that the Chinese government intends to keep many countries of the world indebted to them through this debt trap, knowing fully well that most of them would falter in repaying the loan leaving the Chinese government no other option but to seize some of their assets...

Yes, China is very bad, but what about the borrowers?

This reminds me of the 2008 crisis when people, after having their homes foreclosed, blamed only the bank. And yes, the banks had a lot of blame, but the person who borrowed beyond their means on a credit binge had their share of blame too, let's not forget that.

Yes, but countries are in desperate need of funds right now due to the pandemic. It's also like you said, they're borrowing money because they need it, but they don't realize they've already borrowed money that will be difficult to repay because it's so large. We should borrow money that we will be able to repay. However, this is no longer the case, as countries urgently require funds due to the pandemic.
4286  Economy / Economics / Re: Future economic fear of the rich and poor. on: October 01, 2021, 02:23:41 AM

Even if the rich lose part of their assets, their lives will still be good. And they will have enough experience to seek profit opportunities and the chances of success will be great.

The poor will become more fearful and make their lives poorer. Their survival risk will also increase.

Agreed, because in the poor one, it would be do or die. We all know that if we invest as poor people, we will think four times because if we lose this money, we will have nothing to do but cry. Rich people, on the other hand, have extra money to cover their losses, but the lesson is that if you take a risk, you can get the gold; imagine those successful and wealthy people who were at the bottom at first, but risked everything to get to the top, and now you can see them in good shape; it is better to risk than never.
4287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: September 30, 2021, 04:25:14 PM
I guess you should try participating or gambling in a skill-based game as it brings different feelings when you are already playing, who knows, you might be one of the most successful gamblers in the world, that possibility would not happen if you will not try.
Skill based games can give a great sensation to the players compared to luck based games, I have to admit it. I think skill based games can be considered as real gambling because players don't just rely on luck, but they also have to put their skills first to win. Although I mostly bet on luck based games, but I like some skill based games.

Agree, as you can see that there are professional gamblers that at rich now and also earning big from playing gambling . Though i am not fun in the gambling but i am really amazed about this since they are really earning big, as my self i thought that gambling is all about luck but there are games that bases the skills and also with luck. I do play gambling but it is for only fun and also only those simple ones since i cant really understand those complicated card games.
4288  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: September 30, 2021, 11:35:16 AM
You can as well render web services on the forum and get paid for it. Having a tech skill should give you  enough money while you wait to finish your site. You can as well check out Reddit where your services will be welcomed you shouldn't be seeking for where and how to make money online with what you have at hand

This really requires skill , but how about you dont have skills? Well that is really the problem, you should really render a time to learn since it is really difficult to earn online without skills, you should really learn first then you can earn. We are lucky here that is in this forum since we can join signature campaign and at the same time earn. There are also microtask which you can research in google but still it to low . Right now it is really difficult to earn money online since there are a lot of competition.
4289  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth as the major religions in world. on: September 30, 2021, 06:48:54 AM
Ever since the dawn of the civilization, the most powerful man are the ones who have the most money and that idea has been carried out through history whether we ant to admit it or not, sure a lot of people would lie and say that money can't buy happiness but when facing your problems do you rather face them as a poor man or as a rich man, money in it all forms whether its crypto or fiat if you hold it, you hold the key and the answer to every issue.

I disagree. Money-based economy became important only very recently. In the pre-historic times, it was power that was valued much more than money. Because there were limited options where money could be used. Nowadays the families have become more nuclear and communal structure has disappeared. Now everyone is on his own, and under these circumstances it is money which reigns supreme. In a few locations, they still follow the collective community structure, such as the Kibbutz groupings of Israel.

Well in our history money is also power most of the kings and also the leaders before should be a rich one but also there are some that are just strong and bacame powerful. Though you have a point that mostly we could really say that now adays money is power to us and only few people or tribes or small civilization doing this but world is getting evolving and people are adopting the technology age so they will be also influence by this
4290  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: September 30, 2021, 05:04:47 AM
As of now, we can say that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are doing well despite we are facing a pamdemic. People have so much time staying in their homes and mostly of them are findings some good opportunities online, and trading or investing in crypto/s is one of their chores online. People also uses crypto as a way of payment in gettings services online.

However, bitcoin initially fell significantly because the majority of the market was in a bear market due to the pandemic. When there is a disaster, most coins go into the red, but it recovers after a few months and is currently very strong. I believe the pandemic is beneficial to bitcoin because many people now understand what bitcoin is and have invested in it, which is beneficial to bitcoin. This is the result of people becoming interested in the internet because they are bored at home and want to make money online.
4291  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: September 30, 2021, 01:41:17 AM
This is worth to think of since it is really volatile and the same time fees are getting higher which means that you can receive a money that would be higher or lower. But i think my decision for now is no since i always in need of money but if i am getting paid higher like double my salary to day i think i could consider it since i could really save and hold it
4292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: September 29, 2021, 05:20:40 PM
~
Okay then so be it if that's what you think.

It already came from you if you're against with someone who's also good as you then whoever is better gets the win even there's the probability with the cards since both of you are also in the same shoe.
Exactly what I was saying, it's a combination of skills and statistics, I remembered a line in one of the movie that I watch, it says there that it's not enough that you have the skill but you need to also have luck as well.
Agree with this because most professional gamblers have skills and a strategy, which is why they win, and luck is also present, which strikes at any time. Still when talking to gambling it is not enough to have skill or strategy this could boost your winning but when the unlucky hits you whether what you do you could be losing at all but if you do have strategy you can have edge from winning it compare to those who don't have
4293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: September 29, 2021, 11:09:01 AM
The dice game is much better all that is popular in crypto gambling can easily understand the nature of this game other games require a lot of experience and strategy but like the dice game ludu everyone plays comfortably with one addition. This gambling is easy and much liked by traders we have heard and read about playing dice in the mahabharata it can be said that this dice game was at the root of the battle of mahabharata.

Not everyone prefers this because they want a strategy, while others prefer a complicated one. However, I enjoy simple games with simple instructions, such as 1 and 2 dice games, which I enjoy playing, as well as Odd or Even games. It is a matter of preference when it comes to playing games; as long as we are happy and enjoy ourselves while earning or winning, we are doing good.
4294  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: September 29, 2021, 06:50:07 AM
Well way back 5 years a go mostly the purpose of bitcoin was only as a payment method, no investment at all since it was really fast and less fees because before sending money is really difficult and also it has a high fees also it is not transparent but now when the bitcoin came that could be track anonymously and also less fees but it was used in illegal transactions thats why most people before said that it was a scam but it isnt.
4295  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: September 29, 2021, 05:53:24 AM
First-world countries have access to vaccines and that's why they're easily backed. But we'll see the light soon and even the third world countries will also be back.

Hopefully next year, we'll see the drop in cases and death.

LOL.. In 2020 we were saying that COVID will be gone by 2021. And now in 2021, we are hoping that the pandemic will be contained by 2022. Personally I don't believe that even in 2022 that is going to happen. The pharma companies know it. They are ramping up their production and having roadmaps up to 2025 or even beyond. And with the emergence of new strains with every passing month (Delta Plus is not the one which has caught everyone's attention), I agree with their viewpoint. The situation is not going to get better anytime soon.
It's about hope and that's true that last year, there were some thoughts that have been said that by this year it will be the end of the pandemic.

But it didn't and there's nothing really but to be a contributor to the stoppage of this virus through the measures to avoid it.

Well, we'll see it again if next year it won't be contained.

Agree and it is like a positive thoughts since most people on that time panic and scared of the virus since this is the firsttime we encounter this. Though their prediction was wrong but we do have a positive thoughs that by next year it would be okay but still we are here and we only have a social ending which we follow restriction so that we could be in out side. My prediction last year was 2022 but i think 2024 -2025 is the best bet that everything would be okay.
4296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: September 28, 2021, 12:53:14 PM
You can get profit i n day trading and Holding, now the question is what type of traders you belong are you a long term holder or short term?
if you want to earn crypto without doing any activity in trading, I guess holding is very suitable for you but if your impatience to get a profit here I am pretty sure you are fit to do day trading activity just simple as that.

Well, you have a point, because holding it is all about patience and decision-making, as you will be tempted to sell it at any time. Though this is only for beginners because you will be watching the price the entire day. Now, the problem with holding is that you do not have complete control over your money, whereas with trading, you do have complete control over your money, such as having a stop loss and target profit, and it is much more about earning more than holding it for a year.
4297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: September 28, 2021, 09:46:20 AM
It might be both, because some governments have legalized bitcoin and have begun to utilize it as a payment method or currency. However, in nations where it has not yet been legalized, it might be a currency if it is used as a payment method. It might also be an asset because many people are investing in it and profiting from it. If it has a high value, you can call it an asset.
4298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No vaccine no entry Casino house! on: September 28, 2021, 04:09:02 AM
A vaccination card can be easily forged so I don't know how effective these requirements will be at preventing the virus from spreading. One concern I have is how far will they go with these restrictions that prevent unvaccinated people from going about their life freely. Some people have a valid reason for not getting vaccinated that have nothing to do with crazy conspiracy theories and these rules are discriminatory against them.

Agreed, and it is their choice not to receive a vaccine, which we should respect. Regarding forging, anyone can do it, but when you go to other places, it needs to be checked. They already have an online system from which you can get a vaccine certification that you are fully vaccinated. It's like airports, where they have to check it online to see if it's true. However, in local use, such as when they are just looking at it, they will expect it to be original.
4299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin mining isn’t a waste of energy? on: September 28, 2021, 03:50:09 AM
I don't think its a waste because  you will earn from mining and eventually it will circulate as you use it to buy goods/ pay bills. There is no difference from playing games and mining, it depends on who will perceive those two. Both are beneficial for those who can afford/ do it.

Though this kind of cycle will be the one could destroy the environment. I think it was double meaning for me since it is waste of energy (your effort) and also waste of energy that is tangible like electric . When we are talking to the first one then it isnt really waste of energy since you could earn from it your are right but in the 2nd meaning is about the energy in earth, i think it is a waste if it is not renewable since most of the energy right now is powered by coal mean could lead to more carbon cosumption but when we convert to renewable energy then it is another topic
4300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why some gambling sites allowed my IP and why some restrict it? on: September 28, 2021, 02:15:36 AM
Most like you need to ask for support or chat them , most of the gambling sites now has a live chat feature or not you can email them. If i am guessing this was cause by the ip range from your IP which has block by the website owner because of the abuse, though it is not your fault but someone did it so i think they mistakenly block you in accessing websites, and other reason from this is you could try to use a vpn or any like DNS to fix problem because some of ISP block the website. You can access it if you use VPN but only if it allows it in the website
