impressive first half for Leicester city who are almost guaranteed to collect maximum points thanks to their 3-1 lead at home .

If they hold and win they should go top of the group thanks to Napoli slippage who will be left out form the round of 32,what a disappointment for the Italian team...at least they get to cheer on for other teams.

Other premier league team that was in action was Tottenham who got more than they bargained for as the got beat by Mura 2-1, what a shocker!

Spurs really need to do more work to rebuild their team.
4282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin on: November 25, 2021, 08:29:35 PM
I guess misinterpretation can really paint a bad picture and hurt our crypto gains that have taken a lot of time to build! Its good to see someone followed this up to give the standing of affairs in india which could attract more investors who would want to setup base in this beautiful country which could benefit them in the long run which is a win-win for everyone. But why is it that this story keeps popping every year, they need a regulatory frame work for cryptos to stop these misinterpretations.

4284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: government's traditional laws can't handle Gambling+cryptos on: November 25, 2021, 07:35:27 PM
As much as most governments want to have everything under their control in the interest of its citizens, I think if they didn't take an interest in them around 2009 to be in the know... its difficult to really catch on now and impose regulatory frameworks on crypto users+gamblers when most of them have gotten used to not having them in the first place. Its pretty much self regulatory now, but they best they could start with is as all crypto service providers to register with them and show citizens the business is a registered and regulated one.
4285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: November 25, 2021, 06:12:42 PM
Shiba INU has done better than i thought, especially that it was taking on a dogecoin the king of meme coins that is also backed  by Elon Musk who has great influence on the happenings of cryptocurrencies in general. But to be honest am still not convinced that it will keep raising or doing fine because I see this being a cow being fattened waiting to go for sell on the market ! For now proceed with caution as this coin keeps registering all these gains  because when the whales start selling, herd mentality will kick in and everyone will sell Roll Eyes
4286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: November 25, 2021, 05:58:51 PM
PSG at some point were cheering among them that they're playing so good and most likely will score 2nd goal but reality hit them up and City scored the equalizer and from there on , City was a beast and managed to score the 2nd goal. However, PSG had some chances to make a draw but when you have so many individual players, you can't win games under pressure.
Champions league football has always shown that experience does play a crucial role but  then again both Manchester city and PSG are fairly new to the competition and experience is certainly not on their plate as both teams try bid to win it for the first time . But between the two i think City handles pressure better and defend better unlike PSG who are fond of conceding goals in any competition.

For me Messi has fallen so much that I barely know who that player it ....but on the same time , I can't say the same about Ronaldo who is a beast at 36 years old.
Messi is gone, his no longer that player we knew from Barcelona that could single handily change the face of the entire game upon being brought on to to pitch. Now his just a regular player like everybody else that is still trying to find his feet. For now lets lower our expectations to remove the pressure off him ,maybe this way he can comeback Smiley
4287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 25, 2021, 04:59:35 PM
Many managers are now starting to reject manchester united, making them now seem to have to keep carrick for a long time, several names continue to be associated with manchester united so far, from zidane, pochettino, laurent blanc and even Valvadre, but so far the coaches have reasons itself in rejecting Manchester, I think it might be time for Manchester to make Steve Bruce their next target if Valvadre also refuses to coach Grin.

To lead United now is a difficult test - there is no time for global changes, and the result is needed now. The club has a great roster, so any setbacks will be perceived as mistakes, so the new coach will be under strong pressure (Xavi, for example, has a much freer situation, since it is difficult to expect anything from Barcelona this season). Therefore, it is not surprising that many coaches will not want to take Ole's place now.

there are not many good and free coaches right now. many have already responded Poch, Rodgers..., although they have never been contacted with an offer

It seems United management finally do the right move. I did not follow Rangnick career, but what I read seems rather interesting. He sounds like the best choice in the post SAF era and it will certainly bring some improvements.

"Man Utd reach agreement with Ralf Rangnick to become interim manager. 6mnth contract then 2yr consultancy."

source: https://twitter.com/David_Ornstein/status/1463887628948881412?s=20
seems Carrick couldn't fit in the shoes of SAF and all past United managers to take up a permanent role. But Ralf Rangnick, who is this guy..need look him up asap, will he deliver and make a name for himself as he goes on the spotlight to manage a united side that's low on confidence, needs a defense overhaul and look forward to the transfer window to see who goes, who stays and who will be joining  Manchester united...just hope these guys aren't rushing things.
4288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 25, 2021, 02:44:32 PM
I think I will sell everything I have (btc and alts) in the end of december, to USDT.

1) transfer it (usdt) on Tron on my ledger
2) Wait months
3) Wait again
4) buy back when bloodbath looks over
5) triple my holdings
Playing it safe i guess

buy back when bloodbath looks over
That's what we all wait for, buy low and sell high Grin

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?

I like your plan but if your portfolio includes ethereum based tokens does it make financial sense to move these erc 20 tokens around with the current high transaction fees we are seeing atm..I do not think so? Btw i had the same plans but I have been forced to become a hodler all because of the high fees which has made it to expensive to move these coins back and forth.

4289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is New Bounties are not paying Good Rewards? Real Or Trusted on: November 25, 2021, 10:05:49 AM
Nowadays we are joining new bounties but getting low or non-rewards, is any new project that is paying good rewards that will be real or fake?
Truth be told, bounties have always been like gambling and still are, some will pay good some will not! On paper you might be told this coin has a value of "X" and when you take part in such a coin and at the end of the campaign you are allocated coins of a value of $300 and when you want to trade them for other established coins like btc or usdt you will find that they are only worth a couple of dollars to cents because many people dump on first listing of the coin and we also have a few long term hodlers that artificially takeout supply from circulation which allows these coins to gain some value. Btw high rate of new coins also contributes to projects not growing to what was projected.
4290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFTs overhyped? on: November 24, 2021, 10:17:14 PM
I thought they were a great addition to the crypto ecosystem in the beginning as I saw this being part of its diversification and playing an inclusive role in terms of art. But a look what they have become today, I think they are just the trending subject everyone keeps talking about...which could be easily mistaken to being overhyped. But in the actual sense this is when they are gaining ground as more people get to know of them, which makes them an art piece which is still a work in progress.
4291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: November 24, 2021, 09:57:32 PM
Napoli are now playing against Spartak Moscow. In this match I thought Napoli would dominate and win. However, Napoli conceded a goal in the 3rd minute of the match and they fell behind 1-0. Only 15 minutes of the match is over. There is still enough time for Napoli players to score in this match. I still think Napoli can win this match.
This is so unbelievable.... Napoli had their destiny in their hands and they knew this coming into this match, the worst result for them should have been a draw to qualify. Now they got beat 2-1 which leaves them in second place and a possible position to move from second to the third, what a sad ending.
Should Leicester win their game which they will, they will move from last to to first position of the group..these are the kind of games I can put some money on to guarantee my win Grin

Villarreal 0 - 0 Manchester United

Seriously, every Manchester coach that has appeared in recent times makes strange choices, how does he leave bruno fernandes on the bench? without bruno fernandes Manchester united hasn't been able to attack Villareal, it seems that Manchester United is a team of the third division.
Strange decision i agree , but i think Bruno Fernandes has been a busy man of late ,trying to play defensive football, trying to create goal scoring chances...you name it his been everywhere, and i think his better off starting from the bench today and commit to only one task ,like create and score goals!

Dynamo Kiev 0 - 2 Bayern Munich

Robert Lewandowski scored a beautiful goal
Blame it on the snow maybe but Bayern Munich are getting goals like they are known for and more should be coming in the second half thanks to their superior ball possession , and Robert Lewandowski keeps showing the world why his among the best and game isn't over yet maybe more goals for him.

Almost missed Carrick's first game in charge against Villarreal, and this is how the teams line up against each other

Villarreal XI: Rulli, Foyth, Albiol, P Torres, Estupinan, Parejo, Capoue, Trigueros, Gomez, Danjuma, Pino

Manchester United Starting XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Telles, Fred, McTominay, Van de Beek, Sancho, Martial, Ronaldo

Substitutes: Heaton, Henderson, Bailly, Dalot, Fernandes, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Amad, Rashford

Carrick seems to have maintained the same team, hope he wins with it  Smiley

Zidane doesn't look like he will be taking over a team like United. I believe that the talks about how Zidane may want to take over PSG and then Pochettino will be freed which could go to United has some merit to it. That way Zidane would be able to manage a team filled with stars which he always stated he wanted a team that has a good roster but underachieves and PSG would be great for him. He is also one of the best champions league managers in the world and PSG wants that cup more than anything else, so it would be perfect fit for them.

Let's see what they will do, I hope that they will do better than expected but Zidane directly to United doesn't really scream chemistry to me, that may not work.
I guess United will have Carrick run the team for a while as they remain hunting for a manager who has a profile worth running a club like Manchester United and can withstand the current pressure that comes with it.

And this is an interesting theory of how United could find their man, so you say  Zidane is off the watchlist as Pochettino could be the target man....well he does fit the profile, managed a premier league team and simply no stranger to it unlike Zidane who will have to start from scratch...this makes a valid point!

But is Pochettino ready to leave or is PSG club ready to let him go for another manager that could charge them more??
4297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: November 21, 2021, 11:04:22 PM
Many people underestimate the strength of Ajax. I would not be surprised if they can get get it into the final, depending of the drawings of course.
Can you really blame us if we don't think they can win against top teams in Europe? Great for them for doing well in their own group with a perfect record but they'll be facing tougher competitions next. We'll see how they do in the round of 16 and QF before we talk about the Finals. One step at a time.
The Champions league brings the best teams from around the world together, and with all due respect Ajax are a good team but currently we have several good better teams in it as well, we have teams that are defending champions, finalists and regulars of the competition you name them and frankly  I don't see these guys anywhere near the quarters.

If we have a few names to bring on board that can possibly win it, it has to be either Bayern Munich or Liverpool...indisputable  Smiley

I think we could say we are back on the road to recovery after a scare which saw bitcoin drop from as high as $68k to around $56k.

Just looked at some charts a while ago which is showing are are slowly getting back up, currently at $58k and as long as $60k does not show any resistance

4300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: November 21, 2021, 10:19:09 PM
The issue with cryptocurrencies is that people are believing in them more now than ever  before and the idea of talking about them more now is to get legal clarity about them and to know the safety of their investments should they decide to invest  much more. And OP is right regulatory talk as always been there but its now that more countries are now giving these cryptos the recognition they deserve, and btw not all countries have been welcoming to this topic so its just fair that we are on the look out.
