4301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Please answer this question, ( What to mine with low budget GPUs) on: November 28, 2019, 10:27:28 PM
If i were you... i would teach myself to trade and also practice it to become much more perfect. As time goes on trading would make you far much better money if you perfect it than mining using low budget GPU. The truth is times have changed when it comes to mining.

I believe the GPUs still have market in the gaming world, so I would sell them off and that would be my initial capital for trading
4302  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Working "jobs for bitcoin" sites? on: November 28, 2019, 04:58:37 AM
The platforms am about to share usually have people looking for programmers to make changes on their different project website. So you know some programming to might earn something decent from a couple of gigs that may interest you. They pay crypto mostly in ETH or a native token of the platform which is already listed in an exchange and has value.

I personally used both and earned from them thou my focus was mostly content creation gigs.

4303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Password changed / Woke up recently. Good signals to know potential scammers on: November 27, 2019, 07:46:39 AM
The recently woke up or password changed warning can disappear after sometime from the profile's trust page making it hard to know if the account is now under control of someone else, therefore, I just wanted to add that Vod's Bitcointalk Public Information Project can also be a good tool in tracking and finding out if an account woke up and it's password was changed in the past [from mid 2018 when the BPIP was launched] even when seclog no longer has such information

4304  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ★[ANN] BitCloak Mixer - Btc - Bch - Fast - Trusted - Api - Pgp - since 2016 ★ on: November 27, 2019, 07:05:12 AM
Do you plan on supporting Litecoin? Same questions for NANO?

Please consider it, it's important. Other mixers honestly suck, and I'd rather you start supporting new coins, rather than others.
The mixer has been in existence since 2016. If they were to add support for a couple more coins, they should have done it by now. I suppose it would be better to look for a mixer that supports litecoin because from the look of things, you might wait for a long time.

When I need coin mixing, this is where I come. But I'm curious, can the API be used to integrate with a WordPress website easily?
I believe its possible. OP has not been online for over 23 days, Maybe you could try to contact their support to get a faster response:

4305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2019, 11:59:28 PM
Real made me some good money against their last LaLiga match. But I think this time it's not going to be easily. If I am not wrong then Neymar is in PSG and they are really a very good team in their league. So Real will be tested. This match can go both way.

By the way, between Juventus and Atl. Madrid I will go with Juventus. And for rest of the matches, I have no clue LOL
I am backing Real Madrid to win and bring back that lost pride. Perhaps it's because i am a Real Madrid fan and i have a soft spot for them Lol. Actually i even feel a PSG without Neymar is much more deadly than when he is on it... Just see how they played in the first leg.

I also hope Juventus thump Atletico Madrid, which they can. Atletico's football has not been so convincing for a while now.
4306  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: November 25, 2019, 10:38:51 PM
While I don't want to criticize Sportsbet, I will still say that they have locked my account, asked for documentation which I've very promptly given, and I've now been waiting for a little less than a week for this verification to be completed. My emails to support remain unanswered, and live chat is unable to give me any clue about what is going on. I've never had to complain about Sportsbet.io, but I might have to if the situation isn't solved promptly. It just seems beyong strange that asking for my ID took minutes but now verifying it is taking days. I will update this post accordingly.
Try sending a PM to this profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=832366 and tell them the nature of your problem so that they can check out. I hope all goes well for you
4307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin on: November 25, 2019, 08:47:19 PM
Have you ever used plark.io dogecoin wallet? What do you think about it?
I personally have never used this type of wallet. It's actually my first time hearing about it.

If you are looking for a wallet to store your dogecoins why not use much more popular wallets that support dogecoin like
- Dogecoin wallet - https://dogecoin.com/getting-started
- Exodus wallet - https://www.exodus.io
- Coinomi - https://www.coinomi.co
- Jaxx - https://jaxx.io
- Atomic wallet - https://atomicwallet.io
4308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List of P2P/no-KYC exchanges on: November 24, 2019, 10:32:03 PM
Why are people so scared of KYC? If one of the transactions goes wrong, will you provide enough information for managers to handle your problem?
KYC should not only send to projects that are raising funds, because they can sell our information to businesses for money. but not for large exchanges, you should trust them and create yourself the safest trading environment possible.
Ever heard of news where stolen user IDs and documents are being sold on the darkweb. What if your ID and other sensitve documents of yours which you entrusted with the so called "safe exchanges" are used for ivery serious criminal acts such as terrorism?

How are you going to convince the law enforcement agencies that it wasn't you?
When you are on the internet, Never have a short-sighted way of thinking or else you will be a victim
4309  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked and stolen on: November 24, 2019, 09:52:03 PM
No password-change? Roll Eyes
Basing on what OP says, his account was probably hacked in 2017 and as far as i know, BPIP.org came into operation in July 2018. So any data about password or Email changes on the dates before weren't recorded by BPIP.org, that is why you don't see anything like password or email change when you visit his bpip page.

What i would advise OP is to follow the new procedure of account recoveries in order to have a chance of recovering the account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0

If you sign a message from earlier addresses you used and posted in the forum before the hack, your chances or recovering the account get higher
However, you can still recover you account even without the address so long as you have access to the account's original email and if there is a marked change in the IP address logging pattern before and after the hacking.

I managed to get my hacked account recovered and documented it here - Hacked accounts recovery team is doing great, Don't just give up yet!
It could help you too.
4310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Continues Downfall in Bitcoin Circulation threating traders on: November 23, 2019, 11:05:37 PM
OP the problem is that you are focusing on the number of bitcoins and not it's value. Bitcoin is not like fiat currency such as the US Dollar whose digital value is constant. 100 Dollar bill remains 100 Dollar bill no matter the circulation but the value of 1 Bitcoin 5 years ago pegged against the standard USD isn't same as the value of 1 Bitcoin today due to demand.

It's because bitcoin much smaller units called satoshis which can still hold higher value if the demand is too much and the circulation supply of bitcoin is so low. So even if there were only 1000 bitcoins left in circulation, we could still easily transact in satoshis with no problem so long as they hold value.
4311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Important Warning Blockchain Email Hacker "BIoϲkϲhain Reϲeived" on: November 23, 2019, 07:15:11 PM
This is why it's very important to have different email addresses for different type of accounts. Emails for accounts that involve funds and sensitive data should be totally different from emails for accounts that you use for signing up in bounties, airdrops and ICOs.

People who run these airdrops have an email of gathering emails  in exchange for worthless tokens so that they can later spam them with phishing links. You have to be very observant and not to try to be greedy. Obviously a greedy person would fall for this kind of trap and end up visiting the malicious link.
4312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: November 23, 2019, 06:32:23 PM
The truth is that When you have lots of BTC in your account. You are never tempted to go for higher leverages like x25, x50. All you have to do is go for x2 or x5 and keep scrapping your profits even with small movements while for traders with less money in their accounts, they usually get tempted to go for higher leverages leading to liquidations.

If you look at the list of the Top 25 Traders by Notional, I doubt anybody appears on the list of the Top 25 Traders by ROE. But the striking similarity of the account naming style in both lists worries a lot  Shocked

4313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 23, 2019, 05:42:47 PM
Phew! Juventus came from behind to clinched on 3 points thanks to goals from Higuain (2) and Dybala. For a moment, I thought Atlanta will hang on to their lead considering juventus didn't really get in the game in the first half.  Thanks to the win, Juventus is niw 4 points clear on the Serie A table. I have a feeling they would the title again.
Honestly i couldn't believe Juventus would pull this one off given that Atlanta has been stubborn at times this season. I didn't want the second half but was surprised to see the end results.

Let's wait and see what Inter Milan can do.
4314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Put space in memo on: November 23, 2019, 04:58:39 PM
In blockchains like Stellar, EOS... a memo is a message embedded in a transaction. It usually in form of a text or memo ID. Exchanges usually use a few deposit wallet addresses for many accounts and the only way they can differentiate the deposits is through Memo IDs that correspond to different accounts.

So if the memo ID is not written right, there is a chance they won't be able to tell if the deposit was meant for your account. But i think you will be helped if the support understands the situation well and is lenient enough.
4315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 22, 2019, 11:59:06 PM
This fortuneJack Majestic is going really hard on me. Last week I had another 4 correct pick out of 7 and including this I had this highest 4 correct pick in four rounds! Too close to get 30mBTC if any time I could get 5 correct picks. I understand 5/7 or 6/7 or 7/7 is really hard but I hope some day I will hit one of it.

Last round, was very close for the 4th time!

Wooow if only there was away of tallying points for every week's correct picks. i think you would be somewhere near the top position for participants  who are in the forum.

Just keep trying, i know very soon you will get luck. I got 3 correct goal scorers last game week.
4316  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons. on: November 22, 2019, 11:25:06 PM
It seems like tradesatoshi has completely disabled the withdrawal of funds for all users. A lot of complains in their discord chat.
This is sad if it has happened.
I wish people were more vigilant when it comes to their funds. They would avoid such shit and scam exchanges and instead use much more established and legit exchanges.
4317  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Asicpower Scam on: November 22, 2019, 04:45:05 AM
So many scam websites on the loose claiming to sell mining equipment. It would be advisable to check out legit and reputable websites that have been in business for a number of years rather than this brand-new websites with not even a single honest review.

Checking the domain information, the websites is barely 6 months old

4318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No, Bitcoin’s Circulating Supply is Not 18 Million on: November 22, 2019, 01:42:29 AM
This whole circulating supply thing is just misconception... Because, at the end of the day the so called number of coins that are in circulation is even much lower than people assume. So to me Number of Mined coins is not the circulating Supply

Also, You can't really know how many coins have been lost. Coins staying in the wallet for the last 6-9 years does not mean someone lost the private keys. Someone could just be having so much faith in bitcoin that they don't want to move the coins at all.
The circulating supply thing is just bullshit IMO, and we shouldn't care much about it.
4319  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Some problematic things about Coinbase on: November 21, 2019, 08:05:18 PM
Coinbase is a type of wallet where you don't have complete control of your funds. They could decide to lock it up anytime they want and ask for a KYC ransom in order to get back your funds.

It's the first wallet i got to know when joining the crypto space. In fact i even opened up an account with them but fortunately i have never used the wallet ever.
4320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with security! I learned my lesson. on: November 21, 2019, 02:11:12 PM
Sorry for your loss... Stay positive and just consider it as an expensive lesson learnt.

SMS 2FA is pretty weak. At least if you are to go for 2 factor authentication for your email, go for the strongest that is a available and that is authy or google authenticator.

Keeping your login credentials and private keys in email drafts, cloud storage like Dropbox or online notebooks is also not wise. Those are the first places the hacker checks out.
