4301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish? on: May 13, 2021, 04:39:13 PM
This looks like the reversed-BTC chart  Cheesy

I would say that there are chances for a short-term up movement. Whether the downtrend can be stopped needs to be seen...

Nope, it’s an altcoin.  But since you think it’s a flipped BTC chart then your analysis could be completely biased.

Next time you represent your chart in candle option mode. Charts are better understood and interpreted better when in candle sticks because many traders learn and understand candles more.

For the analysis, you maybe having some bear correction but it favours bull in the long time.

I was just looking for your opinion based on optics and your first impression.  I’m not looking for a complete and detailed analysis.  Lol.

No timestamp details then how can you find that the trend of this coin, if you are giving us weekly chart then this maybe the end of the dump but will fall more if BTC dumps further so don't just stick with one chart, keep all the sources you have before making a discussion.

It’s a daily chart.  And as said, I kept all info so everybody’s opinions stay as simple as possible and based on just by how it looks.  The thing I’m getting at here is making it not biased as possible.
4302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish? on: May 13, 2021, 12:16:03 PM
Ey guys, I need your help.  Here’s a chart of an alt I’m interested in buying but I’m not really sure if it’s starting to look bullish or if it’s down trend continues...  I mean with the whole market being in the red and all.

But just by looking at the chart, without bias, and just by optics or how it looks, is the chart bullish or bearish?

Edit:  I won’t tell you guys the name of the alt for now.  I’ll tell you later.

^  It could be a false positive.  Open your ticket again and request for another security check.  I'm pretty sure FJ is def not trying to steal from you.

And if there have been lots of the same complaints lately then that means FJ security team is doing their job.
4304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: May 12, 2021, 05:42:04 PM
^  Yup.  Yuuuge progress.  Something tells me there's gonna be lots of movement in BTC in the coming years resulting in less BTC holders but nobody knows where the coins going.  Meanwhile localmonero type sites and other boot leg exchanges with no KYC are booming.  Do the math.
4305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: May 12, 2021, 12:59:59 PM
^ It’s this Saturday.  No way they’re fighting from the date before and show the replay at a later date.  I wonder what the odds are on Vera vs Bhullar.  If they line this at around 1.65 or more for Bhullar I’ll be all over it.  It’s ridiculous how Vera is still fighting at 43.  And he only fights once a year since he went to ONE FC.

Edit:  Age doesn’t matter much at HW tho and Bhullar had a somewhat long lay off.  He last fought at 2019, October.  Hmmm...

I do believe that if Verstappen went for a pit on right after Hamilton, he would have a chance to win. I am not saying that he would win very easily, all I am saying is that he would probably have enough time to either go out at first once again, which could be a problem and Hamilton could have been first and after that it is a difficult task to catch up to him but at least you have a chance with a DRS window maybe (albeit spain is a difficult track to pass anyone, let alone Hamilton) but at least you had a chance.

This way it was always obvious that he would have slowed down, Hamilton had a great run and kept increasing his speed time and time after again and again which is a great thing but the main problem was Max couldn't go, his tireware was just way too much, if he pitted even a few laps after Hamilton he would have at least be second again but have a chance.

Yeah, Redbull's pit strategy was so wrong. They could have done that. Or when there were 15-16 laps to go, Verstappen could go for a pit and the team could mount fresh softs. I believe that he could catch up with Hamilton like that. But there was no guarantee for Verstappen to overtake him in both cases of course. But it would be worth trying.

It was worth the try, better then just losing time every round and pit for softs at the end of the race. Verstappen's pace at the end was very well so if he could do that for many more laps he maybe could had come closer. A win was too much then but now he was just driving around and losing time every round.

The reason why they didn’t pit Verstappen to get a new set of mediums after Hamilton got his was cos Red Bull only got one set of mediums for Verstappen.  Lol.  I only found out from a podcast a friend of mine was listening to.  And they couldn’t give him the softs cos that’s good for like just three fast laps then it deteriorates.

So, are we really counting out Ferguson already? I'm actually a fan of him, he will fight anyone, and although he did definitely get pieced up by Justin, he always brings a fight. Don't forget it wasn't like it was completely clean sailing for Justin, he also got dropped if my memory serves me correctly. "Old" man Ferguson still has it in him yet, and I believe while not being favorite here, he has more of a chance that people are letting on.

Old man Ferguson that is a good one, I really like Tony Ferguson to win against Beneil Dariush because I really don't know Dariush that much, and this time it is a really crucial fight for him and for people to gain trust again that he can sure come back from this, I really hate to say it but I don't really want to compare him to any fighter but he is no level of Nurmagomenodov that is for sure, but this time if he lose in this match sad to say I think it is bye-bye for him.

Ferguson is somewhat of a step up for Dariush imo.  Leaning Ferguson but I’m staying away from the betting market.  It’s a popcorn fight.

From a betting perspective I’m looking at Pickett at 1.96, Grundy at 1.85, Barboza at 2.22, Araujo at 2.24 and Chandler 2.22.  I might just do a parlay and get 40.03 for my bet.

I had Man Utd to win 2 - 1, but looks like I might have a change of mind here  Huh

EDIT: I've switched ship, I'm with the foxes.
It was a well worth switching with full three points LOL

So official City are now PL Champions. Leicester played really well in the 2nd half and this win possibly took away all the hope for Liverpool to be in top 4. I have not done the maths yet but does anyone think that Liverpool has a chance to be in top 4?

And it wasn’t because I hesitated.  I really had no plan on betting the match.  I just made a quick look at the odds and at the the stats, etc. and thought it was a value bet.  Of course if I don’t bet on it it wins.
I have countless time when I missed this type of wins. Gone against my feeling but found out that I was right in the first place.

Full disclaimer: I am not gambling from last few weeks. It just doesn't give me fun at all LOL

Yup me too...  Lately.  Lmao.  But I love the process of looking for bets, looking through the betting market, the stats and watch the matches to see if you made the right read.

Anyway here’s another one:  Man City to win to nil at 2.07.  City won their last 11 away matches and have kept a clean sheet against NUFC in their last three matches.  If you want a little more value there’s City to win both halves at 2.60.  Watch it win cos I passed.  Lol.
4309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 11, 2021, 03:28:23 PM
Burnley to win and the over 1.5 goals combo at Stake at 4.20 seems lots of value.
You should have taken the bet. Half-time and Burnley are 0 - 2 goal ahead. I do not think Fulham will be able to score any goal at all. This is what happen when you hesitate in something and do not take it LOL.

I was taking risk in the pool but it seems no luck for me. With another losing match I may even lose top 10 🤣

Lmao.  Typical.  -_-

And it wasn’t because I hesitated.  I really had no plan on betting the match.  I just made a quick look at the odds and at the the stats, etc. and thought it was a value bet.  Of course if I don’t bet on it it wins.

Really tough call today - Fulham v Burnley . If Fulham lose - down they go and it makes the relegation battle finished and a bit boring !!

Burnley to win and the over 1.5 goals combo at Stake at 4.20 seems lots of value.  Burnley has been scoring goals in their last couple away matches and I don’t think they’re going to lose vs a team that’s been on a losing streak at home.

...  Of course I’m not betting it cos I’ve been losing.  Lol..  But let’s pretend I did.  Cheesy

Nope, Verstappen would then be blocked by Bottas and either risk losing second place or have a big enough gap vs the leader and have zero chance to win first place.  RBR had to just take whatever they had and make the best of it.

And Perez should improve out there and get the constructors points as close as possible vs Merc.  He has become somewhat of a liability.
4312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 10, 2021, 03:37:46 PM
The Manchester City-Chelsea match played in the League can be considered a rehearsal of UCL's final match. We can understand from this match that both teams are almost equal. Chelsea beat Manchester City 2-1 with a goal in 90 + 2. There is no dominant team in the final match. It will be a fierce match.

Still too much unknowns if you look at the players deployed by both sides during the EPL match.  City mostly played its B team and Cheslea had its core players rested except for a couple.  At the top of my head, I think Werner and Kante were core players played and some more at the back.  But it’s going to be a fun match for sure.

New event..  Looking at the main card right now, all my leans are all for the underdogs.  Lol.  I think Ferguson redeems himself here after a bad showing vs Charles Oliveira.  But not sure how Barboza makes the weight cut at 145 again and again.

^  Verstappen did get pole from Hamilton at the start.  But Hamilton just has more grip right now with him making a two stop strategy with medium tires.  Verstappen couldn’t push the car anymore with those medium tires.  He did a second pit stop to get the softs and get the extra point for the fastest lap.  Better race overall than Portugal imho.
4315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 08, 2021, 02:58:05 PM
what a bunch of suckah fans

Lol.  I’m sympathetic to their cause.  Football is like a religion for some families, like a tradition.  But at the end of the day what are they protesting really...  To get the owners to splurge on player transfers so they can win cups?  And being all cooped up cos of covid doesn’t help.

And I quit betting on football.  Another shock defeat with LCFC losing to Newcastle.  Wtf.  Is it because there are no fans?  I can’t find any other explanation.

So there were two bouts canceled due to medical issues caused by weight cutting.  Benoit obv couldn’t stand straight on the scale and Lins never showed up.  Expect the prelims to start 30 mins or so later.

Final picks, under 4.5 for the main event and Angela Hill to win.

I feel like we’ve been had by the F1 sports journos.  It’s obv looking like Merc is still the team to beat, not like how they made it look like RBR had the fastest car.  But we’ll see.  Lots of races left.

^  Betting markets are up.  If the RBR’s are really slow and not sand bagging this weekend, what do you think of Bottas to win quali at 4.1?  Seems like it’s a lot of value to me since Bottas at times look like he has more single lap speed than Hamilton.

Yeah doge is probably a bubble, I'm surprised it hasn't been 51%ed yet to be honest...

I think the good thing about doge is it mightve forced people to use crypto exchanges to use it (and they might have bought btc and eth too).

Eth is another one that's doing well and kinda makes me think bitcoin is nowhere near its top yet. (I think eth would fall back to around 0.04 at least before btc gets able to take off for its last time this cycle).

Doge is merged mined with LTC.  So it’s impossible to do a 51% without pouring out a huge amount of investment to pull it off.  Lol.  Might as well just mine the coin.

Why ETC price goes up so high recently?  Does it have something related to ETH?

There were rumors swirling around a couple of years back that Bitmain was buying ETC and was going to start supporting ETC exclusively since ETH is switching to proof of stake.  There was a slight buy up but then ot all came quiet.  Maybe this time it’s for real.
