4301  Economy / Gambling / Re: Possible Poker Cheaters On Fortunejack on: September 16, 2016, 12:49:16 PM
Could just be variance and a guy who temporarily said fuck it and played some bad hands.
Is it at all possible to look at someone's hand history there?

If he was doing this with 200+ bad hands in a short time or something like that, then I would consider calling it cheating or at least highly suspicious.
4302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: >>>> Advertise your Casino for FREE <<<< on: September 16, 2016, 12:41:41 PM
Do you have any stats on how many visitors you get?
And do you advertise your website?

Would be willing to try and buy some advertising space to promote some referral links.
Did you not read the thread? For your second question, they advertise via Mellow-ads and a-ads(if I understand your question correctly), and as for your first question, they have 120+ members, 330+ websites, and 1,000+ visits daily(although we definitely need some proof).
Yeah I missed the link there at the bottom, but I did read the thread and my main question was about the stats anyway.
I've not had great results from Mellow-ads myself, so I'd rather wait until they go with Adwords.
4303  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What trusted bitcoin investing sites plz on: September 16, 2016, 12:37:11 PM
Hello i want expert to show me plz any trusted bitcoin site for investing and get profit
there is no one site which turns your investment into ibto profit and also should be trusted . you can find many number of bitcoin growing site but all of them are ponzi . i will suggest you try to earn through trading with your btc and hold for log time to get profit instead of investing at scam site .
It's not right to just call every investment opportunity a scam or ponzi, investing in a gambling site might be risky but it's not the same as a ponzi.
Crypto-Games is quite good for investing, just check out their stats.
4304  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: September 16, 2016, 12:32:58 PM
0 yes a big zero. Because I had just entered bitcoin world and I am gathering knowledge about the coin. Still I am helpless that No one could give me the exact knowledge of bitcoin.

Still I hope that within 2 months I will become an expert in bitcoin and then i could trade with various coins to make out my pocket money.

Hey sayandey don't worry I will help you to learn about bitcoin. I love to help others so you can ask me any question related to bitcoin or any other topic.

I earn hardly $3 a day through faucets, past referal income , through bitcointalk and through trading. I think this $3 will reach to $6 with 2 months because i am going to invest money in bitcoin.
I think it's better to spend that time on learning a skill instead of faucets, it's really a waste of time and I can't imagine you earning more than like $1 per day with it.

4306  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: September 15, 2016, 06:20:40 PM
I'm just paying my bills through online banking because that's just the easiest for me.
It's just my mobile plan that I pay using Bitcoin.
4307  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do Bitcointalk members invest besides cryptocurrencies? on: September 15, 2016, 06:16:47 PM
I've bought some gold and silver and I also invested in some stocks, but not really for huge amounts.
Looking into buying some real estate when I've saved up more.
4308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’ve been working in Bitcoin industry for 3 years and here’s why you should NOT on: September 13, 2016, 03:54:27 PM
The article is not really my thing, though I thought it was pretty funny and it wasn't what I expected when I read the title, but I didn't feel like I really got something out of it after I read it.
Now, why I didn't really like it, the article reads like something you'd see on Buzzfeed, I personally prefer in depth articles that are more serious and really teach me something new or offer a different perspective on issues that I think I'm familiar with.

But don't let this discourage you, it's just my personal preference.
I've seen some honest responses in this thread and most people do like it, so I hope you don't feel too bad about my criticism.

I hope I was gentle enough Wink
4309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 09, 2016, 01:56:45 PM
People dont hate bitcoin at all around me from what i can see and feel but older generations do turn a bad eye sometimes to bitcoin.
I think this is because they read news articles related to the dark web etc so everytime they hear bitcoin they think its illegal but actually they are uneducated about the subject.

We cannot expect that older generation will prefer to use bitcoin as they have traditional mentality which cannot be changed, and many of them will prefer to stay away even from internet and credit card stuff.
traditional thinker who always deny bitcoin will changes soon or later.
as time goes by technology could be something primary needed.
and that time people will never yelling badly about bitcoin.
they just will full of grateful.
The mentality of the people is they will only accept bitcoin when it becomes more popular and with that kind of thinking they will not consider investing at the early phase now and basically they will not be rewarded because they are haters on bitcoin and will not benefits on the success of bitcoins but we are.

People will only start using if bitcoin is benefiting them and if they find it easier, if its an complicated method for them then will surely hate it as they don't know how to use it or earn it.

In my opinion, bitcoin is benefiting and it's easy to find and use bitcoin, so there is no reason to hate bitcoin. Even the bitcoins price also really good and high.
There are enough reasons to hate Bitcoin, I could imagine that some governments really hate Bitcoin, because they have no control over it.
Other than that, people who do not understand Bitcoin might hate it because it looks like a scam to them.
4310  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: September 09, 2016, 01:53:46 PM
To bitcoin beign used as day to day payment method it should be very easy to pay for groceries with it.
So you just pull out your phone at payment point of shopping, click once on it and its done.

Thats how it should go.

Well this is all about convenience and I agree with you if the people are just going to use bitcoin then that is going to have an easy transaction if they are going to use it. And base on my experience this is really a good way to invest at all if you don't want to do some efforts then you can just leave your bitcoin to your wallet address and grow itself.

I don't think that groceries will start accepting bitcoin as a payment method especially in poor countries where grocery owners are illiterate and have no idea of how to handle new technology.

Even they have the ability of handling the new technology, it will depend on the people on that country.

Like you said a poor one, so meaning they didn't have much access to digital currency so still they will hug the usual way of money transaction in that place.
I wouldn't automatically assume that just because someone is poor, that they are unable to understand Bitcoin.
You could even argue that poor people have more incentive to learn about Bitcoin and poor people are often more resourceful.

And in countries where the daily income is less than one dollar, even small earnings over the internet could make a huge difference, if they can get a cheap device and internet.
4311  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 09, 2016, 01:37:33 PM
If you really want to save money then i tell you the best trick is to make a budget because thats where most people go wrong, they tend to spend much more then needed and or then they can and this causes them to not being able to manage money or save money. if you make a budget it become clear to you what you NEED to pay.

That is not a trick but rather the appropriate thing to do.

Without proper budgeting with every people's financial income, no way all allocations can be distributed properly.
Most people really underestimate the bebefit of proper budgeting, it's just something that takes a little bit of effort, but it can make a huge difference in how much you spend and save each month.
I would suggest anyone that has an interest in learning this to take a look at the personalfinance subreddit.

DO NOT RUN THE SCRIPT!
I'm sure the script is malicious and will steal your balance by withdrawing it.
I will decode the script and edit this post for everyone to see..

Edit: As I said I have decoded the script and you can find it here decoded.
The script will check if you have the minimum amount to withdraw (plus withdraw fees) and will withdraw your balance to this address:

https://blockchain.info/address/1C5f5iCYyQPfQ5X78uP77cJ2CghQ1Zu1Qw

YOU WILL LOSE YOUR BALANCE IF YOU RUN THIS... You have been warned.
Nice catch, was to be expected!
Anyway, there is no method that could give you 100% winrate and if you must use a bot, just use Seuntjies DiceBot, which can be downloaded here: https://bot.seuntjie.com/

Is the seuntijies diceboy is different to the automatic betting mode on PD. I think it is the same, user must setup first it's preferred settings then. I never try that bot i always see it in the forum. Please clarify this to me. Thanks

The bot he is talking about has more advanced options than the build in bot. So you can try more advanced strategies with it than the one you are currently using. I'd say give it a try and see yourself.
It definitely has more options and I think it's somewhat better to run a standalone app instead of having your browserwindow open.
Plus, you can be sure that there's no malware in that one.
4313  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which US presidential candidate will back Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2016, 01:27:48 PM
If anyone would endorse it it would be Jill Stein or Gary Johnson.
Gary Johnson doesn't know what Aleppo is, I doubt is he can actually back anything other than is lawn mower into the garage.
Yeah I was pretty baffled when I read that to be honest, but he does already accept Bitcoin donations.
I wouldn't go as far to say that he endorses Bitcoin, but it's at least noteworthy.

Here are some sources:

Any reason why you depend on Shopify?
I would think there are far better solutions for a shop that you could use?

It's not that hard to set up a simple Wordpress site zith a good e-commerce plugin...
4315  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2016, 01:08:19 PM
very careful on the alt coin you trade because more alt coin you see in trading site does not anymore exist.

Yes I've been looking at some of the exchanges and its amazing how many coins get de-activated.
Poloniex On 9/5/2016, the following markets will be delisted: ABY, ADN, BITUSD, CNMT, DAO, DSH, FIBRE, FLT, GAP, GRS, HYP, IFC, LQD, MCN, MINT, MMC, MNTA, PIGGY, PTS, SILK, SWARM, WDC, XC, XCR, XPB, XUSD, YACC

That's 27 coins removed!
Alt-coin trading is actually so scary. I have two coins- Bitcoin and Monero, and just keeping track of those two is almost too much to handle.  Huh
It's good that they're at least removing the altcoins that don't trade anymore, it just makes the exchange more bloated.
Plus, I hope that you don't invest too much into these risky altcoins.
4316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial education and Bitcoin. on: September 09, 2016, 01:05:54 PM
[...]
So based on this information, where would you introduce Bitcoin into the lives of our youths, considering that Bitcoin needs more responsible people, because you place all the financial decisions in your own hands and not into the hands of some bank or financial institution. ^hmmmm^

Why does Bitcoin need more responsible people than any other form of money? Your argument that all financial decisions are in one's own hands is without merit, because interventions by banks and financial institution that restrict private financial decisions are perceived as an abuse of power by most people. Bitcoin is no special case compared to "ordinary money" when it comes to human behavior.

I'm opposing the view that people need to be "educated" to do the "right thing". It's another form of power abuse, because those who define what's "right" manipulate children to follow their agenda. In my opinion, people should be free to make their own experiences and manage their funds as they see fit. Patronizing people in their financial matters prevents independent learning and encourages appeal to authorities.

Besides that the methodology of the "study" is not adhering to any reasonable standard, the outright furtiveness of the project becomes apparent when closely looking at its implementation: The children are taught to use saving accounts, i.e. fiat money banking services. In fact, the whole study is not an independent endeavor to improve financial literacy and critical thinking in financial matters, but centers around pro-banking propaganda. No thanks!

ya.ya.yo!
Ok, point taken, but the project was just posted as a stimulus for discussion on what Bitcoin people should do to improve on that. You have highlighted an important aspect, and we should rather just concentrate on education to protect, rather than prescribing to people how to manage their money.

I would rather warn people about my mistakes and prevent them from repeating them. ^smile^

Yeah, this seems to be centered around banks, but the idea behind it is actually pretty good.
It might be a good idea for someone to set up a similar guide centered around Bitcoin and distribute it through NGO's

India seems like the right place to do something like that now, since they will be receiving free 4G soon.
4317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: September 09, 2016, 01:00:44 PM
Trading is not unpredictable you need to have allot of luck because the price you will never know what it will do and that is not the only reason why trading is not predctable.
And what's your final point, that is an unpredictable or predictable job? your answer is very vague, trading is not unpredictable job or not predictable jobs? Huh
His answer contradicts itself and his answer is plain wrong anyway...
Trading can be predictable in some cases, sometimes trading becomes predictable due to sudden news about the investment in question.
Also depends on how well you can read the market.

4319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: September 09, 2016, 12:37:13 PM
I bought into Monero a couple of months ago and I've made about 4x my initial investment of 0.50 BTC, so that's pretty good.
Seems like a couple of marketplaces on the Darknet have been accepting Monero which caused the sudden increase in value.
4320  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 09, 2016, 12:35:20 PM
If i am in desperate need of money then i would first of all ask my parents for the help because they are the ones who can provide me money quickly and solve my problem. If i cant tell the problem to my parents then i would ask my one or two trustable friends for help.

Asking parents firts seems very logical but I'm too ashamed to ask them. I'm grown up so I'd should be able to provide enough money for myself. And they don't have so much money either so parents are not solution for me.
yeah I think family is the people that closest to your life. when you need the money urgently maybe you can try to ask and borrow from family. I'm sure when your parents or your family have money. I'm sure he'll give it voluntarily

I think that's a pretty low thing to do, depending on how old you are, maybe if it was a last option... But I would prefer not to do that.
Just make sure that you always have some reserves, then you would never need to do that.
