4302  Economy / Speculation / Re: We might actually see the same price pattern like last year on: February 19, 2014, 12:35:52 PM
Meaning we will fluctuate 500-700 dollars until november where we will spike up to maybe 1500dollars again?

The same price pattern as last year would mean spiking up to about 2200% of the previous low in about 8 months.

Last year that was from $50 in early April to $1100 in early December. This year it would be from $400 in mid-December to $8800 by mid-August.

Yes, we might actually see that. Or not. We'll have to wait and see.

You summed in well, it might happen or not, who knows, I think there is definely more upside potential than downside potential : 20% chance of x10 and 20% chance of loosing 80%, it looks like a great bet to me
4303  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTContracts.org - Speculate to accumilate. on: February 19, 2014, 12:33:32 PM
Per default you are withdrawing all your dividends?

If our dividend is less than 0.01 we cannot withdraw because there is a minimum of 0.01, that su.cks

Be careful guys, I deposited 0.01 before I got sca.mmed on other ponzi
4304  Economy / Gambling / Re: http://btcontracts.org Do you know this one? Safe to invest? on: February 19, 2014, 12:29:52 PM
I am not interested at all and it isn't related to my thread!

My fault; sorry.

That's pretty mature and well mannered to apologize
4305  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi.io - Fast, Guaranteed 120% Payouts on: February 19, 2014, 01:41:15 AM
While playing around with APIs I found that this Ponzi is not even the smartest "scam" if it is one.

It is (or was) sending bitcoins to a black hole:

http://blockexplorer.com/address/1ponziUjuCVdB167ZmTWH48AURW1vE64q

http://blockexplorer.com/address/1HT7xU2Ngenf7D4yocz2SAcnNLW7rK8d4E

1HT7xU2Ngenf7D4yocz2SAcnNLW7rK8d4E is a provably dead address.

You would think the blockchain would reject this as an invalid address.

That is very weird, how would you explain that?

This ponzi is still working fine and receiving new deposits
I'm really fucking hoping I'm not the last payment (#76) i could really use this money Cry

The good thing is that every new money is awarded randomly to someone who hasn't been paid, so you have as much chance as me to get paid

Just friendly advice:

Only letting 20 people in for free and then charging quite a substantial fee is quite a dumb business model.
You would need at least a couple of hundred people for your site to have any value and "predictive power".
It's the users that ultimately will make the site worth anything, so are they supposed to pay to work to make your wallet fatter? That's just wrong.

On the other hand, most best services are not free and the fee is to pay for the time&effort, it is a maintenance fee that should guarantee the quality and select serious investors.
4309  Economy / Speculation / Re: We might actually see the same price pattern like last year on: February 19, 2014, 12:27:34 AM
I will try to predict myself : mtgox re-open then goes under or goes under directly, the price goes down a lot (250$) then shoots up rapidly to new highs, a lot of good news, a huge economic crisis in the states then Europe, the dollar plunging will push the bitcoin's price to thousands of dollars  by the end  of the year

By early 2015 it will be at more than 30,000$
4310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So, you are here for the money, right? on: February 19, 2014, 12:22:51 AM
All 20 members registered!

So if you want to join now, either pay the fee or hope for an invitation by one of these 20 members!

To the 20 members:

If you have some one you want to invite, tell them to register and then you need to PM me their user name.

I got in at the last minute, let's make something of this cool project

Can we sell the invitation or is it bad behaviour?
4311  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: MTGOX <-> BTC BID/ASK on: February 19, 2014, 12:21:11 AM
I am looking to sell 1GoxBTC for 60%

https://bitcoinbuilder.com/

The price is going down! Why?
4312  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: realBTC <-> goxBTC (serious trading only) on: February 19, 2014, 12:20:15 AM
Quote
Why is everyone still trading at ~70% ? Don't you buyers of goxcoins see that you're just facilitating a massive riskless arbitrage between gox and other exchanges for those stuck in Gox?
At current prices (say $300 at Gox and $620 at stamp for simplicity), someone at Gox with 1 goxbtc can simply buy 0.7 realbtc from one of you, instantly converting his $300 to $435, while you get the short end of the deal, taking all the future gox risk for yourself, while also reducing your current profits.
How can you agree to such a shitty bargain, with no great assurance of payback in the future? IMO, you could easily squeeze these gox guys much more and bring that discounted price to a more fair level, ie. about 48% using above prices (it's much lower using real current prices).
SERIOUSLY, bring your bids lower down to the 40% level, we shouldn't be giving ourselves the short end of the stick here!

My thoughts exactly.

There was a reason why GoxBTC-USD price was the highest for long, there is a reason why it's 250$ now.

Anyone who is trading virgin BTC for 1.3 of Gox's BTC is taking a risk that's worth substantially more.

Yes I thought that 2

0.7 to 1 is a 43% profit if gox re-open withdraws

I don't understand why people would stay in cash on gox instead of selling their goxBTC at 30% cut because it has to be safer that except a legal bailout after legal action

I have been a big advocate for these Ponzis but now have learned you are in fact correct!  Everyone beware!

Also, my bitbook.biz account made 2 separate withdraws that I NEVER made!  It wouldn't surprise me if there was a direct correlation between my activity on this message board and my bitbook.biz account being hacked  Angry Embarrassed             The timing and proof is all there.  I can only pray that bitbook.biz can check the IP as I NEVER withdraw those BTC!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=154995.1980

I eagerly look forward to hearing back from them.  I will NOT be posting anymore on this message board and I am really concerned that it is going to take a lot of time and effort to get those BTC back...

bitbook.biz, please respond

TY

I feel like you, it feels very bad to be sc.ammed; I think those ponzi schemes are going to die for a while because most people who were interested by them know better now; but there is always new bitcoin users, new websites and ponzi can be a lot of fun so there will be a lot of money lost
4316  Local / Débutants / Re: Mon premier bitcoin! on: February 19, 2014, 12:09:57 AM
Tu peux essayer: http://freebitco.in/?r=163799 (lien non référé : freebitco.in)

Sinon cherche pour des faucets, vend quelque chose contre des bitcoins, ou tu pourrais acheter des bitcoins sur localbitcoins si tu en veux plus.
4317  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and The Crashing Game on: February 19, 2014, 12:06:13 AM
The gold market is particularly rigged and impenetrable

Bitcoin's market is young, volatile and kind of complex

MasterCoin vs Nxt vs XCP (vs eMunie)
