4301  Other / Archival / Re: Binance introduces KYC for all users on: August 23, 2021, 04:03:27 PM
Does anyone else doubt that they can also replay with cancellation dates and no KYC withdrawals until the end of October?

it is not the end of October, but it's 19.October. 10+ days less.
Also, if I understand correctly, everyone can withdraw money from there, even without KYC. but unverified accounts are limited to withdrawals and closing trading positions only.

Quote
Existing users who have not yet completed Intermediate Verification will have their account permissions temporarily changed to “Withdraw Only”, with services limited to withdrawal, order cancellation, position close, and redemption. This will be carried out in phases to minimise user-experience disruption, from now through 2021-10-19 00:00 AM (UTC). Existing users will be informed directly with more details. Once users complete the Intermediate Verification, they will be able to resume full access to Binance products and services.

4302  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: a very, very very big cryptoconis scam on: August 23, 2021, 11:41:51 AM
dude it's a scam what is the difference would the referral code make, anyway I edited the list and removed it,
thanks for noticing  Kiss

Even if you clearly write that is a scam, post it as unclickable in the code tag, there will always be someone who will ignore it all and visit these websites. I have seen such cases, they have even "invested" some money.

otherwise, the forum does not like referral promotion in the post even when something is completely legal, and especially when is a scam.
4303  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: a very, very very big cryptoconis scam on: August 23, 2021, 11:18:46 AM
I haven't joined any of these sites, but are all these sites from the same scammers? I must say that the scammers are very dedicated to their work as scammers, I had seen it all, but this is the first time I see a scammers with so many sites. how does he manage to manage all these sites? does he have any time in the real world? anyway you did a good job

Last question: since you are new to this forum, how did you discover this forum?
hey
first i think it's a group of scammers not only one person, all these sites were registered on 2020,2021 (you can check that using any whois tool)
i discovered this forum when i was doing some researchs to gather informations about the scam

there are a couple of software vendors, who sell such scripts with many website templates. So, anyone with $50 + $10 per domain can buy it and run his own money doubler, cloud mining or however they call this type of business.

I made a similar list earlier, some of which you found is already there [SCAM ALERT] List 470+ scam websites

I will request you to put all the links on code which will be safer for our new forum users who are not well informed about fake crypto investments.

Follow these steps to put your links on code view;

  • Click edit Button
  • Select all the links together
  • Press above from the text box

or you can directly copy this from here,

Code:
..

some of these links contain referral codes, I suggest that part be removed as well, we don't want that kind of advertising here, although they are not clickable.
4304  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptosPortal 2.0 Community on: August 23, 2021, 10:56:37 AM
At CryptosPortal we use a site so far with two official languages ENGLISH AND SPANISH, this allows all information to be filtered better, here we believe that the best source is the same people, always updated . Now imagine the possibilities.

I guess it's your native language Spanish, but still, I think you should need to separate these two languages because this way it seems pretty messy. I'm not sure if it's a mistake to see more than one language on the same page.
a practice that is never done when creating a website plus it's not what Google and other search engines likes to see when ranking a site.
in this way, you target a very wide speaking area, but it also introduces confusion for native English and Spanish visitors.

you should definitely think of some better design. too many colours that are not aligned with each other. it is the basis and should be done well at the very beginning. As you add new content and new features any change will basically be very difficult and complicated.
4305  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I developed a free job listing website for crypto related jobs on: August 23, 2021, 10:36:31 AM
I will add some examples for people to know how a job listing will look like.

You're also right when you say there are lots of other websites of this type. But AFAIK, they are all commercial products. Jobcoiner has at least one advantage : it's free. No intermediate. A bit like bitcoin, no? haha

add some active job offers, not just an example.
otherwise, not all are commercial, there are free and very popular and this will be a serious competition for you. For example on Reddit there are several channels there, but I will leave only one example
https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/

I am not sure what Pomp is doing but I see that you are charging $199 by default for posting job offer (that can be changed manually), but is it possible to create job offer for free or for $1?

IDK where you find info about charging, perhaps the owner deleted it after your suggestion. Charging anything in this case, especially when business is at the beginning makes no sense. Who will pay one single cent to post a job offer on a fresh new started service, with zero reach?
perhaps in the near future, he can expect the possibility to charge listing renewal or "stay on top" options and that's all.
4306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] CEX.IO suspend your account by country on: August 22, 2021, 04:36:40 PM
...

This is the second similar complaint here about the temporary suspension of the account due to the validation of your user. yes, it is understandable if you want to be sure of legality and that you do not want to risk any kind of AML/KYC rule violation. I believe that there are other similar cases that have not reached this forum.
obviously, there is a problem here.

CEX, whether you have planned or are planning to do something about it to avoid further complications? maybe your verification methodology is not good and therefore a long verification period.
a good reputation is very difficult to acquire, but it is very easy to spoil. you should definitely introduce some restrictions for new users and those without KYC, and this must be clearly indicated upon registration.

Holding someone's else funds and keeping in suspense really seems worrying. 0.76BTC is not a small amount for most people and you should need to be careful.

4308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: I started a porn site that pays you in Bitcoin. on: August 17, 2021, 10:53:17 PM
Yup, you read that right. The idea gave birth late one night watching porn. "What if I could make money watching porn?". So, then I started development on PornHash.io. We share a bit of revenue with the people coming back everyday. We all get off together! Let me know what you think of the site: PornHash.io

So, if I understand correctly, you will payout your visitors from ads earnings. Right?
Is this service brand new or do you already have some "customers"? I would like to see some statistics about potential earnings from there. Also, how do you convert profit from ads I guess it's from fiat ads network into crypto in such a short time.

Before you guys crucify me, we decided to use Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin due to the fees but we are looking into lightning possibly.

No one will crucify you if you doing legit business, even if it's from the adult industry. I personally think that the involvement of the porn industry in crypto will bring more hype than Ellon Musk.
Currently, the Bitcoin transaction fee it's not that expensive, you should definitely integrate it.
4309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Guide on bitcointalk on: August 17, 2021, 10:36:44 PM
Study the Meta board I think it is very useful to newbies to look at that board especially the sticky topics in there that is where all the essential information on the forum is. I recommend reading the trading discussion sub forum and reputation which will teach you about the things which will get you negative trust most of it is common sense but always worth a read.

have you Zedpastin ever heard of an unofficial forum rule "burstposting"?
it's a way of spam posting when someone writes a post every 2 minutes, and each post is mostly offtopic. have you ever noticed such a poster?
4310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you put away your arrogance? on: August 17, 2021, 10:28:32 PM
Sorry to say this, but your friend sounds stupid, backward and ignorant.

He is just uninformed and had limited thinking. I know that type of people, and here it is very difficult to influence to change the way of thinking.
I stopped explaining to such people anything related to Bitcoin/crypto a long time ago. A pure waste of time.
4311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum Skills on: August 17, 2021, 10:20:57 PM
Please, is it to early/late for me to start somewhere? I am not that comfortable with only posting and contributing texually here. I need to solve technical problems.
Please, what are the basic steps I will take, what are the basic skills I need now that are not that financial intensive. Because I am still under the trauma and/or defeat of fraud/scam before I joined this forum.

It's not too early and also it's not too late to start here. it's probably the right time for you, don't worry about it.
you must first have a certain passion for crypto and cryptocurrencies, that is basic. try to connect your presence on the forum with some of your personal interests, something you are well acquainted with.
like the example you gave, some users had design skills, and they present themselves in this way. the other group is the news in data handling so they post various statistics here.
be sure not to hesitate to seek any help here or some explanation. This community is very generous with the sharing of knowledge.
4312  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Saving Vs Staking on: August 17, 2021, 07:07:07 PM
As for me, staking is more preferable when it comes to long term investment of like 10yrs to 20yrs, because you stand the chance of gaining an annual interest on your actual bitcoin. Which platforms like Nexo offers 6% annual interest, compared to others. And am also sure Binanve offers staking feature, but not sure of it's rate..

Staking really seems like a better investment, at least it should cover inflation. but to get confirmation that it really is the right choice, how many coins do we know has existed for a long time and that the holders made a profit by staking it?
I mean currency which is live for more than 4-5 years?
4313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want to Recommend on Great services i found on: August 17, 2021, 06:57:37 PM
Everything here is all made up, even the testimonial is not configured, over 300 clients so they claim but no data in Alexa even 10 real clients will create a good flow of traffic, be careful on a project you are shilling, people will blame you if they got scam here, it made me think that you are the owner and acting as a client on this project.

it is not scam i bought from them all legit

You promote Paypal accounts reselling service. it certainly cannot be legal. Verified Binance accounts also. or do you have a different logical explanation for legality?
Anyway, I'd like to see some evidence of your purchase just to be sure that this shop is not yours.
4314  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a job!!!! on: August 17, 2021, 06:40:24 PM
If you read through my post I stated that I will send a resume of my skill-set and work experience to people who are verified employers or that can verify they have a legitimate job opening for me.

I don't think things go that way. you didn't even say which domain of work you were looking for. It indicates that your greatest skill is that you want to find a job, which is not exactly interesting to the employer.

For newbie it is hard to find a job in here. for getting a quality job, you must have to be at-least full member or sr.

that's not true. Even if you are a Newbie here, you can have some specific skills and be a senior developer. In that case, you won't have a problem finding a job here.

I could not find enough accurate information about BGL nodes and staking (or whatever). the same article is repeated on all media, some rewards to random nodes and etc...
Can someone explain what is there exactly, or point me to an explanatory link?
There are two incentive schemes for using BGL, node incentivization and transaction contest.

As for that incentivization/contest, you can take a look at OP #2 post or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5238559.msg56777594#msg56777594

If I understood correctly, it’s kind of an airdrop for active members of the Bitgesell network, right?
Still don't understand about transaction contest. I cannot say that it is more clearly explained, nor the concept itself.

is there any way of passive except mining income here or was there any benefit from running a node or holding a BGL coin in the wallet?
4317  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Guide on bitcointalk on: August 17, 2021, 02:07:42 PM
Not sure he's a real rookie.

From the initial post he knows all about Altcoins, projects, blocks and investors, newbies visiting from 0 don't know about this.

Altcoins have lost its value in recent times with many block chain being permissionless. May at times projects are being promoted with the notion that notable programers, technologists are behind such projects. Sooner than later it'd be discovered that most names are just published to lure innocent investors.

OP, are you pretending to ask, you should have read all the topics in the beginners & Help section.

there are hundreds of the same questions in the beginners & Help section.

experienced members from the forum usually try to hunt merits in the Beginners & Help section, useful posts or posts where the desire for knowledge is expressed have a much better chance of getting some merit, rather than any "proof of auth" post.
yet I think that in this case, the OP is just too young, and he's just not sure how to behave here.
4318  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Forum Software on: August 17, 2021, 08:00:02 AM
in the end, is a new forum really needed?

Well... this is indeed debatable.
The fact that we, the older members here, will most probably not switch, that's pretty much clear. We, those who are already here, most probably don't need another forum.
But while as bitcoiners we are advocating decentralization, let's not "force" everybody in one forum, since it can easily become one central point of failure.
While other forums can never get near to what bitcointalk is, let them be.

But the fact that what OP is advertising is far from a proper forum makes it... not a good choice. Also advertising it here won't help him.

I would look it through, problem - solution. so if there is a problem here that most users feel and someone like OP offers a solution to this or a significant improvement, then such a change is welcome. but to make something that is the same or similar to an already existing solution, I see no purpose.
OP didn’t say what that would set his forum apart and get us to use it.

Hello everyone

I am a newbie here and I don't really seem to understand the environment so well. Can anyone help me with brief guides especially on the DOs and DON'Ts. I'll gladly appreciate it.

Guides are so simple. Don't do anything which you would not do in real life. Do whatever you can do in real life, the same rules are here and there.
as in your environment, good manners and a fair attitude will be recognized, while disrespect and a bad relationship will not bring you much here.
4320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 17, 2021, 06:04:56 AM

If the goal is to win the title, Manchester City has no choice but to hire a skilled striker. In the first match, we saw that their forward lineup is not that much good. Such a forward lineup will not be very effective against strong teams. They definitely need a skilled and talented striker in the team like Mbappe or Kane.

In the previous season, they played without a classic striker. Aguero was injured for a good part of the season, and they won without him. Wins PL and playing CL final are certainly good results.
btw. Tell me, which team does no need a skilled and talented striker? which team would say no to Mbappe or Kane?
