Ronaldo finally showed up in a game however Manchester United couldn't even score one goal today. Interestingly Real Sociedad even won in Old Trafford. It looks like Manchester United didn't take this game as serious as the EPL games. Otherwise they were already in a great form recently and they would win here as well. I don't think that this result would affect the morale much because they are concentrated on their league games these days. But as they are seen as one of the biggest title contenders in the Europa League the expectations from them will still be high.

Manchester United should be able to defeat Real Sociedad after this very good form in the recent times. However these are completely different tournaments. The English Premier League is much more important for Manchester United this season because fans are expecting to see them finishing in top 4 in the worst case. This can cause them to lose their concentration on the Europa League games a little. If we see some rotations as well then I wouldn't bet on Manchester United for sure.

When it comes to betting on the Europa League or Conference League games of big teams I usually stay away from betting on their wins depending on their opponents. Because when they decide not to care about the game too much it is over for me as well. If it was the Champions League things would have been much different of course.

It is of course difficult to have the same rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo in El Clasicos from now on. None of the teams has such players in their teams now. However I still don't doubt that the games between them will be very enjoyable this season. Because both teams are in a great condition. Xavi have created a brand new team with the talented youngsters and experienced players. Things are working very well now just as he expected. But the biggest challenge in the league will be El Clasicos for both of them. These games will give us the biggest idea about which side can become champions.

Such a horrible run for Liverpool lately. They lost to Napoli by 4-1 in the Champions League as well and this must have destroyed the morale of the team. I really wonder how much good they will be able to return to this league. Wolves are their opponent up next in Anfield. Wolves can be a really stubborn team when it comes to conceding goals easily. They have conceded more than one goal only once so far. While Liverpool are in this much bad condition I started to expect a close final score. But still I think Liverpool can win by 1-0 or 2-1.

Manchester City are shown as the biggest candidate to become the champions in this tournament now. Bookmakers are favouring them at the moment. It is easy to understand of course as they are too impressive after signing Haaland. They have a much stronger squad compared to the previous season especially thanks to him. Guardiola's system is already amazing as always. You might say that they couldn't become the champions last but it was a really unlucky journey for them. Real Madrid were nearly out of the Champions League but they made an epic comeback.

I don't know about that. Juventus are still not a very credible team in the league now. Pogba is returning soon but we will see how big impact he can make in time. The main problem might be different for Juventus at the same time. They still have problems on getting comfortable wins in many games. If they don't improve this effort later in the season then Atalanta can surely stay ahead of them to finish the league in top four. Atalanta's current performance is much more trustworthy recently. Juventus just need to improve in offense.

What a day for Napoli! They literally destroyed Liverpool by 4-1. I would never expect this to happen honestly and most people must have thought the same. Maybe Liverpool weren't in a good shape but I was still hopeful about them to play differently here. But there was no change in their effort and Napoli punished them really hard. Klopp might also be under threat if he continues to get this kind of results. After seeing Tuchel's departure I think everything can happen now.

By the way Tottenham were too bad today. Despite Marseille's red card Tottenham were still struggling to win. Thanks to Richarlison's two goals they still won by 2-0. But they had only two shots on goal after those whole goal attempts. They need to improve their performance before the next game.

The Fulham game in three days is going to be Chelsea's first official game after sacking Tuchel. Let's see if there will be some change in their performance. Aubameyang needs to adapt as quick as possible to be a solution to Chelsea's scoring problems. More importantly the team need to play better as a whole. Fulham wouldn't be an easy opponent for them. Fulham were nearly even defeating Liverpool before. Mitrovic is in a great form these days so Chelsea defense will need to be very aware. I still want to believe that this could be the game to improve their morale.

There are two games which will start earlier:

Ajax - Rangers
Frankfurt - Sporting

Ajax are obviously favoured for winning this game. Rangers are not a weak team but their chance is not very high in this away game. Ajax are still playing their home games too effectively. I wouldn't expect them to score less than 2 goals here. Rangers might answer by one goal only. I really admire Ajax's staying this strong after changing many of their players. 

Frankfurt are favourite against Sporting and they can surely win this. Comparing the performances in their leagues so far, I can't say that they are too different in general. But Frankfurt's performance in the recent weeks has been more impressive. They scored 8 goals in their last two games in the end. This would be a big motivation to win this one. Sporting seem weaker than last season for now. Their job is difficult in Germany. Frankfurt might win by a 2-1 score maybe.

Cadiz are a pretty interesting opponent for Barcelona. It is because they didn't let Barcelona win against them in their last two head-to-head games in the La Liga. However we are watching a much more different Barcelona as Xavi has changed the system significantly. They are better than the previous season. Besides Cadiz are the worst team in the league now. 4 games, 4 losses and 0 goals scored while conceding 10 goals. I see no way they are resisting Barcelona. However Barcelona are not worth betting on as their odd is like 1.10.  

Things are still not going well for BIG now. They are likely to lose the first map which is Dust2. This is a map that Outsiders play better than them actually. And the second map is Inferno. Outsiders have a 67% win rate while BIG have 0 wins here. Therefore this series could end much more quickly for Outsiders. I really thought positively for BIG about this match but it looks like the nightmare is going to continue for them.

G2 - MIBR is later on and G2 are clearly the favourite. Even though they are trying to recover newly these days they shouldn't have big problems against their weak opponent here. 2-0 win is what I expect from them.

What a surprising decision by Chelsea!

They weren't doing well of course but I still didn't expect them to sack Tuchel. By Aubameyang's arrival I was hoping to see them starting to get positive results in time. But they did this after the Dinamo Zagreb loss. I hope that Boehly knows what he is doing now. Pochettino is surely the main candidate for the role now. It is better to continue with a manager who knows this place and the team well for now. Pochettino is a decent manager unlike his not making Tottenham champions in the league. Hopefully he has a good chemistry with the players to improve the form in case Chelsea bring him here.

Harry Kane would cost Bayern Munich incredibly much of course. But considering the possible options for them I think that he is still worth it. Because Kane is also a striker who can be very productive for many more years like Lewandowski. He is one of the a few valuable strikers in the world now. Bayern Munich have no issue with money for sure. They have got a really good amount of money from Lewandowski's sale as well. I don't know what they will do in the Champions League this season without signing any striker. But if we see a bad performance then they would definitely decide to buy a strong striker as soon as possible. Kane would be one of the strongest candidates then.

Despite that loss Arsenal are still keeping their lead. This would be a pretty nice motivation for them after that result. Their next game is against Everton in Emirates. Everton could have even won against Liverpool despite making a very bad start to the season. However I don't think they can show the same performance in this game. Arsenal would prepare very well for the game to boost the morale of the players much more. They destroyed Everton 5-1 here in the previous season. Maybe they can even get a similar result to this while they are much stronger.

Atalanta finished the week as the leader. Monza weren't a very tough opponent for them in the end and they just met the expectations by a 2-0 win. Roma's very surprising loss helped them take the lead easier as well. Atalanta are really different than the previous season now. They look much stronger and determined. It is just difficult to guess if they keep up this good work most of the time during the season. But they are at least one of the biggest candidates of top 4 surely.

We shouldn't be talking about age for this kind of players indeed. For example, Benzema is also a quite aged striker but we all saw what he did last season. He was one of the most performing strikers of the season. He is still doing very good. Lewandowski is much younger than him now. Therefore we can see Lewandowski playing this much solid for at least a few more years. The quality of a player is the most important thing above all else. The more quality the player the more he performs even when he starts getting old.

I was just going to talk about this. He still has two years left on his contract though but this is still a green light to Bayern Munich maybe for the end of this season. He knows that it is not easy for Tottenham to win the Premier League at this point. For now they are one of the best teams considering the recent results. But Tottenham have always had consistency problems. If this season also becomes one of them then Kane might want to go to a team that he can be champion many times. Then Bayern Munich are one of the best options as a result.

You mean that this game could be fixed?

I think that there is no way that is happening from now on. It is true that this kind of things happened in the distant past of the Serie A. There were so many teams whose points were deleted and punished for the crime they committed. However we have left those days behind. This kind of results can be seen in any league of course. But I was just very surprised after seeing how Roma started to the season. Udinese weren't a team that could stop them easily. But the score tells us the opposite.

I haven't seen Leipzig this much weak until their Frankfurt game. Maybe they were still not getting very satisfying results but at least they weren't performing this much badly. It was like they weren't even on the pitch in this game. 5 shots and 0 on goal - just horrible. They lost 4-0 against Frankfurt which started the season very poorly. Leipzig need to find a way out as soon as possible to prevent even a worse season than the previous one.

I'm saying this for Frankfurt maybe but there is a huge improvement in their performance for two weeks. They scored 8 goals in last two games. This might be a good sign for even the Champions League as well maybe.

Manchester City are going to play one of their most serious games of the league this week.

It is against Tottenham and the game is in Etihad. But you know how Tottenham defeated that incredible Manchester City in the same stadium in the previous season. There is even a stronger Tottenham this season which might be worrying for Manchester City. They have collected the same amount of points so far. Manchester City are much more productive than them of course. Haaland has made a big difference already now by scoring like the half of the goals of the team. But as for this kind of games we never know who plays the best. Who knows maybe Kane might be the hero for Tottenham like it happened in last season's game.

However I still believe that Manchester City will have their revenge.
