4301  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: August 11, 2017, 04:44:22 AM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

I save not so much. Most of the Bitcoin I earned I turned it into cash and used them. I always write kioom a purse in my wallet, it is like my old pension. Should I sell it now? Currently its price is quite high.

Yeah like you I converted my coins into fiat when the price pumps. So I didnt have that much btc. But that was when Im a beginner in crypto world. Right now, whenever I have btc or altcoins I just save it and hold it for long term. Now I have atleast 1btc in my wallet. I was wondering if im not an impulsive trader before maybe I have more than one. Lesson learned. Grin
4302  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin from crashing? on: August 11, 2017, 03:25:43 AM
What is the way to stop Bitcoin from being a bear market?

"Never sell Bitcoin on lower than present price. Hodl and never sell on bid prices. If you wanna sell, sell by setting ask price. "
If everyone follows this pattern then Bitcoin will never crash. But FUD, rumors, buzz, etc make people fear and eventually people start selling much lower than market price.

Yea this is true. We should make some practices like these and all will be fine. Like we can't really prevent it from crashing but at least we lessen it.
But this seems easy to say but its hard to follow especially for those who are beginners and sometimes the experience one. They can't control their emotions and can't think logically when hearing and reading some fuds ans as a result they tend to sell even the price is not good. We're not in control of everyone's mind.
4303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 11, 2017, 02:00:46 AM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you thing it will happen and when?

I think there are not any banks that think that bitcoin is a potential threat, even though many banks accept bitcoin as an official currency. There are many governments that have supported bitcoin, it is taking a strong step.

Right. They can use bitcoin as another tool to make more opportunities for them. It's possible that they are now creating a card suited for bitcoin users. Starting a war with bitcoin will just make it worse for them.

Sure it is.
I think banks right now are thinking some ways to give the users some opportunity. Like its hard to make compete now with bitcoin as for the fact it's now a strong currency. Their perspective now is like Russian government, at first they ban bitcoin like they hated it and later on realize that there's a great potential having this to be more powerful.
Soon banks will be go with the trend and will be seeing this as a great investment.
4304  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: August 10, 2017, 08:01:02 AM
I predict Bitcoin will last for the rest of Humanity.

However in the future people will only have a very small amount of Bitcoin.

Almost no one will be able to afford 1 Bitcoin. Only the richest people, like millionaires.

Maybe, that's why we should be all wise in handling and using bitcoin because if not we all end up empty handed.
So when the day reaches to its end we have something to get.
On the other side, bitcoin will last as long as there's a demand of the users and there's supply bitcoin will definitely survive. And if bitcoin reaches its limit we should be more value bitcoin as it will surely cost a lifetime.
4305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold until its $10,000 on: August 10, 2017, 07:46:18 AM
It will be very hard for many people to hold their bitcoins till it reaches the price of $10k and very few people would be having that high level of patience to hold their bitcoin that long as many people will sell their coins when it will hit $5k in coming months.

With the price right now and the constantly rising it so tempting to sell our coins because we ddint know when it will dump again. This is the test of patience how far are we holding our coins. Maybe you can have a target price when to sell, like if it hits $5000 then sell it, I'm sure with that price everybody have profited. Its a win win to all of us like not bad at all.
4306  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo or Coinbase ? Which is better and Why ? on: August 10, 2017, 07:17:14 AM
Both are really good wallets but the problem with coinbase is they control our funds in different ways like i said they start maintenance work on their site during crucial moments of trading. Xapo on other hand since i started using it i never faced any issues their app works perfectly , the site is always working perfectly. The only issue with xapo is you can't sign messages and the fees for sending transactions is higher than coinbase.

Yes I agree with you.
As coinbase have a third party it means someone can also control or access in your coins. I dont trust this wallet as it can be hack anytime.
While xapo, I'm using it quite but I didn't experience any major problems except sometimes the transaction is too slow and that makes me furious. Like Im being impatient with their steps for comfirmation.
4307  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is it possible to claim BCC in Coins.ph wallet? on: August 10, 2017, 06:11:48 AM
There are a lot of exchanges that wont support BCC. Does anyone know what they are planning on doing with them? Those exchanges  are the custodians of our private keys and those BCC are rightfully ours. They should find a way to let us have them.

Your Bitcoins that you keep in any exchange or web wallet are not your bitcoin. You gave them to a website to keep them for you. You don't have the private key belonging to the wallet. No private key...No Bitcoin. It's like with money and bank: you don't own the money, you give it to the bank with a promise to return it back to you anytime you want, it doesn't mean the bank will always be able to return it to you

So you mean there is a probability or chance to loss my bitcoin in any exchanger or web wallet.??

Yes there'a a high risk if you store your coins in any exchanges even though they're trusted.
Just remember as long as you didnt hold your private key or seeds it isnt safe. It can be hack by any third party anytime. Yeah you can store only small amount of coins in an online and exchanges wallet.
Dont trust any exchanges or you still haven't heard hot issues about these exchanges.
Is it always you that liable to all your coins, so store it at your own risk.
4308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: August 10, 2017, 05:51:12 AM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?
I dont think most of the people who gamble needs money, I mu self gamble not because I want to multiply my coins but I just want to be entertained or I treat it as a pass time not to generate income. If thats what other people think of gambling then they are not in the right direction, most likely they will end up losing.

My two cents here are maybe the people that made gambling to make income are the one who's desperate. Their daily needs like expenses and bills payment depend all in gambling. They dont have anything to do but to gamble. Their life just rotates in it and the worst they got too addicted.
Sometimes doing more than you need leads to nothingness.
Therefore, gamble moderately and do it just to destress. Dont make it as an income generator.
4309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rate on: August 10, 2017, 04:47:41 AM
Would you buy Bitcoins right now?  Huh

Hell yeah! If its for long term holding I will buy.
We dont know if bitcoin's price will go down or up, so dont wait for dips or else you will regret if the price will rise again.
Besides, we will profit to it as we HODL.
4310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the BCC dump? on: August 09, 2017, 02:20:30 AM
I'll probably sell BCC when if and when it reaches $1,000 and there are at least 5 exchanges with reasonable volume. If it never reaches that price, that's OK too.

Yeah I think so. Like we just got our bcc as free so we dump or hold it, it really doesn't matter. We dont lose any money here. But mine, I sold it in a good price and I'm happy with it, bought some waves from it and that will I hold for long term. Many dumped their coins as they dont believe that it has a future and of course to support the bitcoin community.
4311  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: At Only $500 on: August 09, 2017, 02:04:14 AM
Although impossible to happen at the moment because of growing demands. Even the price go as low as $500 I'd still choose to support it and gonna hold my coin. Others will do the same for sure(except those who always got panic). Because we strongly believe that it will goes up again.
Actually most trader on market in current also choose buying if the price of Bitcoin can breakdown to under $1000 again, because in history the price of Bitcoin always recovery and growth more than after big crash. So why not take advantage this opportunity and buy more for our funds Roll Eyes?

Of course that's an opportunity that everybody shouldn't miss. Buying bitcoin when it crashes, many are awaiting to that.
Definitely suppoat bitcoin all they way, bitcoin reaches this far and if its crash to that level then I dont care. As long as i know that when it crashes, sooner it will recover and be skyrocket. Yes, as a digital currency, fluctuation is only just around in the corner so let's be use to that.
4312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please recommend me 1 best Altcoin to buy on: August 09, 2017, 01:10:31 AM
Please recommend me your 1 best altcoin to buy. I have been researching so much for the next coin to buy but i am overwhelmed by all the choices. Dont recommend Eth, Ltc, Waves and Neo please. I own them already.
What about another coin such as omisego, I think that was a good coin for you. But honestly i've invested on there at the price worth 30k satoshi each and in this time the price already tripled. That is a good project and i remember the dev will distribute the free airdrop of omisego to the ethereum holders. I think omise is the best coin with a good really right now. Or you can waiting for bitclave.

It seems OMG is in the trend now as many are gaining profit here. I heard a lot of good commendations about this coin thats why I bought some of it. Is there are really an airdrop of omg? When will that happen?
You can also try to buy monero as this have a future, its market cap now is doing good so better hold atleast some of this.
4313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is amazing on: August 09, 2017, 12:26:30 AM
Hi guys,
I been sort of a enthusiast and involved in crypto since 2013 I think. I haven't been that active until last month when I really put tons of hours reading and catching up.
I have talked so much about crypto with family members that they ask me to save some funds for them in crypto and I believe BTC is the safest bet. I got some at 2700 but the price is going up like crazy, usually there is a correction but it seems BTC has a rocket in its behind Smiley
My question is for long term is it better to wait or is the price going to keep rising. Maybe we have a new bottom?
I know it's speculation but curious what people are thinking.

Other than that I'm glad to be a part of this great technology and promoting it.
Yes. Bitcoin like having a rocket in the back push it up. And I believe that in the next few years, it will be worth more than anyone expected. Take advantage of the opportunity to get rich!

Exactly. That'a why Im holding my coins tight now for all we know bitcoin will rocket high sooner.
Just getting small amount when I needed badly some fiat then thats it. Like if its not necessary I wont touch my coins.
Holding for long term is they key for us to get rich in the future. As we all don't know when bitcoin will last.
4314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: August 08, 2017, 02:17:14 AM
Not need to waiting until 2018 come now the price are close to $3.5k may be in less than 10 days the price will hit $3.5k.

Yeah hope to see that in next few days.
If we hit $3500 sooner maybe next few months we will hit $4000 and up.
Like we all anticipated that after the hardfork bitcoin will rise and we can expect more about this constantly rising.
Just hold our coins for a moment because something will soon to be unleash.
4315  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Making bitcoin with twitter still possible? on: August 08, 2017, 01:09:16 AM
There are many twitter campaigns available with every payment via bitcoin or altcoin. This helps to promote the sites or projects they have. The problem is you need a lot of followers

Yes as many campaigns required a lot of followers and you get a good stake. But there are some accepting atleast 200 followers but don't expect that they give you good stake but at least its better than nothing.
You can also join facebook campaigns, like twitter it also have a required friends. Actually you can do that simultaneously.
4316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 08, 2017, 12:49:56 AM
Well.. If you have decent experience regarding gambling you will get bigger reward compared to "new punters". But you should withdraw your winnings after every winning bet and keep record of transfer activity on  gambling account.
Experience with gambling doesn't gonna profit big, but this will help an user learn all about effective money management. The reason is that at the beginning days of gambling users win on luck and due to lack of skills they make themselves involved into gambling for a longer time and loss it. This can be overcome by the experience.

You might faced bad experience in your gambling moves. Please do not see gambling as a investment option bitcoin and there are lot off available option to start with. In gambling we may see the luck one time but failure will be 50 or 100 times. Just be away to see the profit.

Yes its true. Treat gambling lke its for fun. I dont see it as a investment nor a job. It can't give us steady income. When you gamble, it is just a matter of chance of winning, like you're not sure if your money comes back to you or it will grow. If you want real time investment, stop gambling and make a real life.
4317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 08, 2017, 12:27:07 AM
I set up my limits into a specific amount. When you dont set a limit you may lose your money.
Setting up limit cant harm us thus it cant help us. When you set up a limit like this amount is the only you can spend. when you lose, its okay, when you win much better. Setting up a limit is just like how far can you control yourself into something.
4318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: August 08, 2017, 12:03:38 AM
you can start minimum amount of investment. you can start trading and be wise when to buy and sell. The most important thing you understand digital currency and be more patient as well.
Usually small capital will require more patients as we need to put same level of researches still we can gain only small amount of profits.

But for both small and big capital we must need strong knowledge on how crypto currencies are working otherwise we cannot make big profits even we will be having very big capital to risk.

Yes big capital is better but since OP is a fresher in trading he can start with small capital like $10, too small but just to make it sure that he can't lose big. $10 to start up then when it profit he can use to add it to its capital then repeat the cycle. Big things came from small things so better to have patience when trading when you dont want to lose big.
4319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: August 07, 2017, 11:36:16 PM
For those that buy bitcoin last week when the price fell and was dump to $1,785 can now take profit as from https://coinmarketcap.com is currently $2,750. Thank God for another blessing!
Yes it is one that must be considered for trading, but if trading on bitcoin I'm sure will be easy to get profits, most importantly you can patiently wait until the price rises. Because bitcoin has a very good future, I'm sure price bitcoin will continue to rise.
it such a good decision to choose bitcoin. Thats true bitcoin have a good future and it can be happen actually it happen already but now its dump not really dump but when it pump in a high price again it can be more great.

Yeah like when it get dumped it will surely pump and it pumps hard!
And now close to $3500 it is not impossible to reach the $4000 maybe by next month or if we're lucky enough, it hits this month. Truly patience is a virtue and good things always happens to those who wait.
Well maybe many now are crying, those who sold their coins because of fuds.
4320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: August 07, 2017, 07:55:21 AM
I panic when I see coinmarketcap web site with red colors and I start to think like "Oh my god, I think I lost my all" because I make margin trade with leverage. This is very risky, with a small decline I can lose my all.

Or I can say that you're too over acting rather than panicking.
As a trader I think in the first place that we should embrace volatility and treat it as part of our lives. We should be use to this. When the market is bloody red, dont worry because soon it will recover again. Of course. we sometimes lose as we trade but having a proper knowledge will prevent this.
