4301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 21, 2021, 09:01:21 PM
its half time in Reale Arena & the match between Real Sociedad and Valencia so far is at a goalless deadlock, if things remain how they are Real Madrid remains top of the league ,with a game in hand which definitely gives them they break they have been longing for! But game is not over yet and Real Sociedad knows that if they want to remain in the title chase this is a must win match for them but the game isn't an easy one which could end as it is.
4302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2021, 08:48:41 PM
Bitcoin has no physical presence. What if we just stop believing in bitcoin. I mean every country has the equivalent of gold to their fiat. Bitcoin has no gold or physical value. Can this ever happen ?
looking for a coin backed by some kind of asset, stable coins are there for that..bitcoin remains bitcoin. In terms of people stopping believing in bitcoin it could mean another cryptocurrency could take its place because cryptos are here to stay, besides the beauty about these cryptocurrencies its the freedom they accord us which could be expressed by change of interest of another king but for now Bitcoin remains our choice and king of digital coins. .
4303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if governments make Bitcoin centralized? on: November 21, 2021, 07:13:52 PM
Governments making bitcoin centralized for starters this is not possible! As far as i know Bitcoin is on auto pilot, its not like we have a control room where somebody is pressing some buttons here and there to influence its behavior.
As far as control goes, the only thing that our governments can do is have some influence over it in form of regulation anything besides this can not affect it...the closest they can do to centralize it, is to make it legal tender.
4304  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-11-12] Ken Griffin says Bitcoin will be replaced by Ethereum-based currenc on: November 21, 2021, 07:07:42 PM
Any other coin the possibility is possible as these cryptocurrencies are people drive and should we the people feel bitcoin isn't our fancy or taste anymore a new king could be born! But for Christ sake...of all coins it had to be Ethereum based, hello for your information ethereum right now has crazy fees which doesn't make it attractive to use...i believe its the reason why blockchains like binance, tron and many others are thriving at the moment which sends the message clear that eth based isn't on the radar...
4305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the end of crypto? on: November 21, 2021, 07:00:05 PM
ALL Crypto is crashing. What happened to crypto? Is it the end of crypto?
No need to panic, this is something that happens year in, year out! And this time around maybe the tax bill which is about to be passed in the United states is the sole reason for this bearishness but I think once people get to understand the extent to which or how they are affected they will get to buying more cryptocurrencies, but for now I think people are spooked about it and will lay low!

But my advise for now is, buy the dip...price will recover after this phase!
4306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is Tax holding back bitcoin from going to the Moon on: November 21, 2021, 06:54:35 PM
Is it possible that bitcoin isn't as bullish as we all expected it to be because of the crypto tax that every price gains is likely to invite as a form of capital gains? Lets the math, what is the possibility of the whales and all parties that are affected by the capital gains which will attract this tax in having a hand to control(manipulate) price just so they stay below the tax threshold and buy time to take out their profits?

From Ole to Carrick, forgive me for spitting my drink out with laughter. We have to enjoy this whilst we can because unfortunately Man Utd are too big a club to continue being this much of a joke. When they finally get a top manager in they will start to do much better.

anyone else besides Carrick? oh god please don't let them do jokes all the time. laugh out loud

Isn't this a temporary trainer if I'm not mistaken based on the information I read in some impromptu articles? For a while, so the chances of the coach they planned could be much better. During Carrick time at Manchester United, I hope he can contribute the winning points to face Chelsea next week, even though it's quite tough.
lol love the sense of humor but all things considered, Manchester united were in desperate need for change and now that Ole is gone this opens up to many possibilities and because this just happened Carrick is just the interim manager now..as we have big names like the likes of Zidane who is tipped to be the next United manager and I believe most will be happy to have him.

Definitely a tough ask from Carrick but they should be able to put up a good fight.
4308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 21, 2021, 05:14:14 PM
Teams to be fielded in the Inter  vs Napoli this evening:

Inter (formation:3-5-2): Samir Handanovic, Milan Skriniar, Andrea Ranocchia, Alessandro Bastoni, Matteo Darmian, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ivan Perisic, Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa.

Napoli (formation:4-2-3-1): Ospina; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Koulibaly, Mario Rui, Anguissa, Fabian Ruiz, Zielinski, Lozano, Osimhen, Insigne.

This is a big derby match going on in Italy , and both teams are in a similar form with less losses on their cards which makes me feel both teams will be comfortable sharing the points to keep the title race on.

My prediction: Inter  1-1 Napoli

4309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: November 21, 2021, 05:01:48 PM
Sterling managed to score late in the first half and it was the first goal of the game today.
The moment i heard that Kevin De Bruyne was not going to be playing for some time because of corona , I knew that Raheem was going to find himself on the score sheet and my call was spot on!

Manchester City struggled in the first half to score despite the few good chance they created. Unfortunately I didn't see De Bruyne in today's line-up so there's a chance this match won't end more than 3 goals.
This is definitely a different City team as they would have got several goals had it being several seasons back  and or yeah sad for the lad De Bruyne who is missing in action but he should be expected back in the the next two weeks or so after...but team will be equal to the task in his absence.

In the second half I just hope Manchester City manage to score a few more goals considering they needed this win just to keep pressing Chelsea who are currently top of the table. If Manchester City manage to win, then this 3 point difference will be good to wait for Chelsea to slip.
They were always favorites to win this game and am not shocked that Everton were not even on target to get a goal because they are just in a bad shape in terms of form this season.
4310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: caught between dilemma and pleasure on: November 21, 2021, 04:48:11 PM
As pleasurable as this might seem, when i look at how much a coin is going for and notice that its high....automatically i know that the coin as a low coin supply and for such price will always be high but should there be a high price for a high supply coin then this is a jackpot of a project if you have bagged yourself some of these.

I am marvelled at seeing the price hitting $54 at this very moment. Lucky are those bounty hunters that participated in Ranger Protocol. I can imagine the kind of joy the feel inside seeing the price skyrocketing handsomely in a short interval of time. From the bounty rules, I get to find out they will be rewarded in two batches (50% payment a month after the bounty and the remaining 50% is in 2months time). Ranger Protocol is on a moving train not ready to stop
could it be that its altcoin season or simply low supply and high demand which is pushing price high Huh

When watching the Liverpool vs Arsenal match via streaming broadcast, I saw the latest interesting news about Ole displayed on the channel at halftime, it seems that Manchester United crushing defeat against Watford forced the Manchester United board to hold an emergency meeting after the game was over to discuss Ole future.
It's quite interesting to wait for the results of the meeting decision later.

Todays Watford performance deserved a 10/10 which should warrant the sacking of the Manchester United  manager because these are not the kind of games that humiliate united tbh!
Btw this is confusing news, has Ole been sacked or not? Because this emergency meeting does not imply to have the sort of headline we all are waiting for, am sorry but its the end of the road for Ole, am hoping for the Sunday news he will be in it as ex manager!
4312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 20, 2021, 10:21:56 PM
I see myself ticking most of the check boxes lead out in the OP, the most I value the most is that of not having a never quit attitude which has pushed me to greater heights which I thought I would never could achieve. The other pointer of not holding onto certain things takes long to grasp but letting go of those losses and fighting another day is a real life lesson worth applying to everyday activities.
4313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 20, 2021, 09:30:59 PM
I think the top news in media this weekend won't be Bayern or ManU shamefull defeat but Messi scoring finally a goal in Ligue 1! BTW even Navas attempts to get a red card was fantastic Roll Eyes

Liverpool destroyed Arsenal four goals to nil this wont go unnoticed too but i think for the French league, Messi the magician is the person that will be marking headlines this time around after a brilliant performance play for PSG which deserves some merit for the handwork his been putting, did i also mention he got a goal well the Messi-CR7 battles continue Grin

Otherwise top of the news certainly has to go to Ole and his Manchester united team!
4314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 20, 2021, 05:38:28 PM
Serbia and Switzerland made a big surprise in the world cup groups.  Nobody expected this result from Portugal and Italy.  They will definitely pass in the playoffs.  England and Germany, the favorite teams of the World Cup, finished their groups very easily.
Yep, football can be unpredictable  and disappointing, both former Euro champions now forced to play in the playoff to redeem themselves was certainly unforeseen....otherwise these games will require a whole lot of work to be done as this wont be a walk in the park for any team out there and possible elimination as individual players don't seem to have the fight in them looking at what the club performances are.

Serie A is thinking about a break during the period of the playoff.
Is a good idea but don't think it will possible especially if some teams will still be in eurocups.

A break will just benefit those teams that don't have players taking part in these world cup qualifier games, otherwise this is a welcome move..In the name of fair competition I am hoping other leagues can emulate them to give these guys a break and be pscylogically ready for their home(country) games.
4315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: November 20, 2021, 05:23:31 PM
Humiliating scoreline for United. I am sure now that Ole is gonna be sacked...no second chances. United have crucial games ahead of them and changes should be brought down now. Lot of pressure is gonna pour down from frustrating fans to change manager and it's gonna go down.
Football can sometimes get out of hand and this match we just witnessed is among them! 4-1 what a humiliating result to say the least....its over for Ole he must go!
Maguire blundered and keeps making these defensive errors such that today he walked away with a red card which should give him some time to rest...and with this result this was an early Christmas present for Watford and that 3rd goal was a beauty!

Just got word that Westham failed to win against Wolves which sees their title hopes drifting away from them....what a day of disappointments Cry.

No yet of a new contract agreement between chelsea and Antonio Rudiger, of course, forcing chelsea to look for other players who can be alternative substitutes to cover the position that may be left by Rudiger in January, reportedly now chelsea are starting to try to approach with Wesley Fofana, Fofana, who is a strong enough defender, of course, will be very suitable to fill the position left by Rudiger in my opinion, especially since Fofana impressive performance last season really helped Leicester City to reach the top 5 positions. Currently the market price of fofana according to transfermark is around 40 million euros and of course that is not a high enough price for a club like chelsea.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.the-sun.com/sport/3989366/chelsea-fofana-haaland-barcelona-azpilicueta-transfer-news/amp/
Antonio Rudiger is a darling to the Chelsea team and its fans, I don't think they will want to part ways just yet after that exceptional display earlier on against Leicester City who showed no fight inn them whatsoever. And more A plus performances are yet to come.... with that said a new contract  is certainly going to be signed if not these guys will miss out on a valuable player with lots of football experience for his defensive position.
4317  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-11-12] Miami will hand out free Bitcoin to residents from profits on city on: November 20, 2021, 04:11:50 PM
But what i do understand is the city has the MiamiCoin which is used to push for municipal projects to generate the yield but still hand out free Bitcoin to its residents...Why not give out the Miami coin it self to grow demand for this coin?? Whatever their reasons this is still a win for all cryptocurrencies and hope they change their choice of dividend payouts as this might end up being a costly venture!
4318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: November 20, 2021, 03:53:19 PM
This Watford Manchester United affair is so shocking to be honest, Watford is a team that has failed to keep a clean cheap in 21 games and  Manchester United have failed to capitalize on this record.... and now Watford are two zero up against united in the first half I honestly don't see a comeback because these guys were the better team in all departments against Utd.

Poor United , now am also calling for the sacking of Ole like yesterday, week in ..week out same old pathetic results, Ole must go!
4319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 20, 2021, 12:56:14 PM
after every bayern defeat, the rivals have a little more pressure, because they now have to win to take advantage of this chance to get closer to bayern munich
dortmund plays today at home against vfb stuttgart, which is actually a clear thing ... this 'actually' has become bayern's undoing yesterday... Roll Eyes
Talking of last nights game i really didn't see them dropping all three points at the hands of Augsburg considering the form they were in, but that's the game of football... you cant win everything! Coming back to Borussia Dortmund, this might look like an easy 3 points for them, but they just have that thing like the team gets jinxed and fail to collect the needed points to close the gap which is the pressure they usually fail to contain and playing from home might actually work in their favor.
4320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: November 20, 2021, 12:22:16 PM
Our line ups are in for the match between Leicester and Chelsea.

Leicester: Schmeichel; Albrighton, Amartey, Soyuncu, Evans, Castagne; Ndidi, Soumare; Lookman, Barnes; Vardy

Chelsea: Mendy; Chalobah, Silva, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell; Hudson-Odoi, Mount; Havertz

The Blues are still without their talisman Lukaku and with the kind of fixture this is and coming from an international break, i see less goals in the game...possibility of no goals at all is high!
