same power tip from what i read.

my question is will there be a blade with these say 300-400gh?

i grabbed hundreds of am sticks from you last year. a few am blades.

I am looking for s-1 replacements  so a 300 to 400gh blade would be nice.
RockMiner will be coming out with a blade-like product soon.  Hopefully by end of June, but I don't have official time frames and you shouldn't take my word as such.
The R-BOX product should not be compared to blade systems etc...
this is a consumer product.  introduce someone to Bitcoin/mining, gift it etc... etc...

Yeah  I sold a lot of your sticks on ebay last year .. I got a lot of people started in the game.

I ordered a fury when they came with a free zencontroller. If I bought 3 more furys and used a USB hub would the same zencontroller work with all of them?
yes it would work for you.  it is on this thread somewhere
43023  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.419 BTC for 180GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 08:21:51 PM
Well at .419 (x2) I can't buy but at .32 I'd take at least six more right now.

I guess if sales slow BITMAIN will do whatever makes the most sense for them.

We should all also remember they have been the best H/W seller by a wide margin.  No pre-order nonsense.  No missed dates...etc.

can't argue with the gear's quality or on time shipping.  Some days the price was really good.    I would have purchased more then 3 on may 19th when the net came to 173 usd.  I only had 3 coupons by the time I swapped some s-2's for s-1's the s-1 price went up beyond the btc rise and the diff rise.

These should be .38  not .419     so I will just let the s-1 coupons I have die  and wait for other gear to buy.

With the summer coming I am better off not running in house s-1's ..  heck I can even hold my coins.  which may be best
43024  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - THE BIG GUN - 100 MH Scrypt Miner! $11,999.95 on: May 28, 2014, 08:10:23 PM

Are there any small details that you can tell us?  If we have already spent big $$ with GAW will we be able to benefit or be a part of the Project Prime without spending more $$ immediately?

yeah, if we spend all our money now, we won't have anything to spend for Project Prime, pls give some hint about what and when, just hints, so we can decide if we want to participate. I on the verge of spending $5K on another company as I type this, so if Project Prime sounds good, I might have to hold...

As always, I will roll everyone forward Smiley

Seems so long ago..  Is this dead now?

No, just a few months away, that's all Smiley

Oh yea, Prime will blow your mind!

You are driving me nuts.  but in a good way.

I used the store credit you gave me to buy an ant miner s-1 from your store.  why Well I decided to mine some btc with it and save that btc until prime comes out.

So the plan for today is .  run 4 s-1s under volted under clocked.  In a buddies office at discounted power rate of 4 cents a k-watt    take all of these earnings and roll it into prime.

I will keep track of your current zen/gaw launch   give it a week to decide if I stick with grid seed blades or switch to the new gear.

this way in house for the summer I run under 400 watts of gear.
43025  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Undervolt antminer s1 [1.19W/GH at the wall] on: May 28, 2014, 07:49:46 PM
......

I actually have all my ants on a push-pull configuration. I have some Rosewell fans on them (Was on sale for $5 with free shipping)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WM184A/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

which isn't as high as the ones you've linked to, but its not that bad. It's about 75CFM. I just took out two of the screws from the original fan (one from bottom left side of the fan, and one from top right side of the fan), and used it on the new front fans (top left/bottom right I think. You can't use the long screws on one side due to a capacitor blocking the way). Two screws is more then enough to hold them in place, and that way you don't have to use the pipe cleaners, and no extra money spent.

that does not work for the fans i linked they are 38mm just like the stock push fan.  they move 160 cfm.  if you put them in with the screws you mention the blades do not clear the assembly nuts on the heat sinks.  my 4 pipe cleaners allowed for the spacers and let the fast fans blades work.

your idea does work if the fan blades clear the heat sink nuts.

the pipe cleaners cost be 99 cents for 50.  i had the nylon spacers.

if you are in the usa i can mail you one to see if it is better then your fans.  it fits in a padded flat rate envelope. cost 6 bucks to ship. i have extra. so i would send it for the shipping fee.

Weren't you just saying how accurate your feedback was? I bolded it so you can read it properly. Even if he did do it then (I was around then, and never even saw them do that...) You can't provide any proof. It wasn't genuine. You still won't back it up. And if that negative feedback was about your post being removed, I dunno, post about it in Service Discussions? And again, he never paid anybody for 6,500 posts.

i posted the link to the thread as proof but since then the OP has been edited a bunch of times i never screen sniped it as i never felt the need to i will ask theymos if he is willing to look at the edits

How about this:

If he's not doing it now, how will your feedback affect him?

Can'ty you guys just talk it out?

i have no issue with talking to them but all i get is remove your negative feedback or see you in court from them

Dude tell him you are wrong and pull the feedback....   He specifically said no spam allowed he always said that.  that is why I see you as wrong.   Now I can see why your interpretation is  posted  as your feeling is 6500 posts comes to 217 posts a day.  Which must be spam.   You will lose on that interpretation here is why I think you will lose.  I am retired and I have the time to post 40 posts a day.

I don't think either one of them has to say he was wrong, or the other was. I just think they should just resolve it like it is. They don't even have to be all sappy about it.

yeah you have a point. a simple resolution  works just delete the trust attacks and leave it at that.  I can look at both sides of this and see the points and counter points, not worth hurting each other over it.

43028  Economy / Securities / Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts, UK LTD company - Now Mining & Paying Bitcoin on: May 28, 2014, 06:00:08 PM
my investment was 720 usd in june of 2013.

I was supposed to start mining July 4th.  Started July 31st.  I was given under hash from July 4th to Sept of 2013. Then got a bonus 1.25gh in oct.   right now I have 6.25gh hashing for me.

when all is said and done I will be lucky to lose 300 usd with them.

the only way I could get a profit is btc needs to jump to 4k by july of 2014.  I have .0424 in current earnings . by july of 2014 that will be about .05  at 4k a coin   .05 would be 200usd  oh that is still short  as I have cashed in 360 usd  .  so even at 4k a coin I would lose .  well it is only money.
43029  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - NEXT GEN ASIC on: May 28, 2014, 05:43:11 PM
okay  first question I have is who has a working fury/zenminer in hand?

if you do what power does it pull?   what does it hash?

I have played the new gear time over and over and over and over.

I decided to

a ) wait for real world reports on zemminer - gaw miner combo's

next question is their a support thread for this on this site.

It would be in script/alt coins.  but a thread with all of the new gaw miners would be good.

I have no gaw miners justs grid seeds  5 chip  and  blades.

A nice setup thread with the units would be helpful

the fury
the widow
the falcon
the war machine
the zen controller
43030  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.419 BTC for 180GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 04:42:47 PM
It's kinda bs though...with the rise in the coin price S1's have been increasing in price.  This should not be happening anymore with diff. where it is.  I still haven't seen a single day where I feel I could make my money back with an S2.

+1  - sad but true - coins are ready but still waiting for a decent deal on the S2

yeah if they figured in diff  rise and btc rise the price would be .380  not  .419

this would be an exact match to the best price they had which was  on may 19th   ..

so if you want to say the may 19 price was too low     they could still offer this for .4 pre coupon and do better then they were doing with the may 19th price.

And I have accounted for btc and diff   ..

I want to buy 2 more  and have been holding on to coins  since may 19th .

So far holding the coins is better then buying these.
43031  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.419 BTC for 180GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 02:29:20 PM

Yeah  I got 3 for 520 usd   or 173 each.

https://blockchain.info/tx/cb0eddf6f2d227e1f8c4bdda507b952e9272d8b417934ce27c6e4e16d980cc18

the 1.167 coins are now worth 665 usd.

If I buy 2 today i spend 2 x .419 = .838 -.100  or .738  but in fiat .738 is  418  or 209 each

so the arguments of math are 173 to 209 or

1.208 the price in fiat    now coins went from 445 to  570  that is  1.281 the price

now  1.208 into 1.281 is

1.06     this means  the price now is 100/106 with the btc price rise adjustment  .. that is good

but diff was 8.85 and is now 10.45

that is  1.18    so to fully be no gain or loss    that 1.06   is wrong it should be 1.18  and match the  diff.

long story short        the price needs to be 190 usd    after coupon

that would be  .330 btc after coupon
or .38 btc before coupon

so the current price of .419 is an extra profit of .0319 for bitmaintech.

over  and above the diff rises and over and above the btc rises.

the sale was done on may  19th .

so I am holding back because they should drop some more.  and I am pretty sure my math is correct.
43032  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to break $2,000 mark by Christmas say Experts on: May 28, 2014, 02:20:14 PM

I read your article link.  Could be true.  I do see coins drifting upward maybe 1.2k- 1.5k

If this happens it will extend the life of older gear like ant miners s-1  .

Every fall the second benefit of mining occurs free heat.  Not for all miners, but lots of us want the free heat.
43033  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.419 BTC for 180GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 01:31:19 PM
coins dropped today to 567 usd .

that makes the s-1 look better and the s-2 look worse.

If I buy today my fiat cost is 209 an s-1.

I have 2 coupons left  I may order my last two s-1's today.
43034  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL Monarch - Delivery Dates on: May 28, 2014, 12:10:15 PM
Yeah I have to agree putting peoples names in  context as a pedophile is nasty shit.

I for one will tell you   BFL  took 13 + months to refund my 530 usd.  They have not been a good company.

I will also say BFL is not the only shitty company.

Black Arrow  has been pretty bad of  late.
Hashfast never delivered  .
Avalon and KNC  pulled some nasty shit.

You forgot 1 or 2 others nasty messes - Bitmine.ch and their US affiliate AMT with their A1 chip debacle Sad Don't know if BM.ch has delivered anything but AMT sure has not aside from a few battered & DOA rigs and 2 'kits' that sorta worked for a while.

No refunds in sight or offered and lawsuits in progress. Sound familiar?

not to mention the bips hacked 1200 coins at 1000 usd each plus the trade fortress   4000 coin hack.

yeah it is is a very difficult place to do business.  on the miner end or the trader end
43035  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Undervolt antminer s1 [1.19W/GH at the wall] on: May 28, 2014, 03:47:42 AM
Is there any way to have the fans always at 100%? I want to reduce the heat as much as possible. Summer here in FL gets pretty hot, and the temp in my miner room is 98F right now, and its only going to get hotter.

I've got 16 AntMiner S1's, 2 Dragon 1T miners, and 1 KNC Saturn with 3 boards.

If I can get the Ants to drop some massive temp, I could add 1 or 2 S2's. I'm out of power & have excessive heat.

you need to add really good pull fans. I posted some shots of them and where I got them on ebay.

add these and vent the heat out of the room

http://www.ebay.com/itm/151276722479?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

he sold me 14 at 107  I will find the hook up photos

I used 4 pipe cleaners to attached the fan on the pull side.

see the fan pipe cleaners and nylon nuts for spacing

I choose to not post on this site all the time and I am on other sites. I could post 40 good posts a day if I only post here and spend my time doing other things like going to the mall with my wife. Watching a movie with my wife.  cooking diner as I like to cook.   going to the Jersey shore etc.

If my wife was dead (she almost died in the World Trade center)   I would have a lot more time and I might choose to spend it writing 6 to 8 hours a day on this site.   My posts would all make sense and add to the conversations.  I would also start threads on builds of gear/ tweaking gear  etc.    So posting 6500 posts which was his max number appears to invite trouble but it is in no way a guarantee of spamming   especially when he stated he won't pay for spam  from the get-go.   I normally don't stick up for one guy over another but  you are wrong.  You also could be subject to nuisance lawsuits.

From anyone that was making 300 or 400 posts a month  i.e. earning decent money on this campaign.  If the 10 or more that earned .5 coins a month went after you claiming your attack on ritz  caused ritz to end the campaign you could get sued by them.
Ritz did say he was ending the program for reasons other then that  so in a way he is still being nice to you.  If his post had said he ended the campaign due to your attack  you could have been looking at a lot of angry people.    He did not do that to you so as much as you may be annoyed and think your are fight the good fight   I would say think about it. Look at me an aging guy trying to help his retirement out .  I am due 360 posts  I would never say it is your fault if ritz decides to not pay me and the rest of us.   But I am a  rational guy level headed yada yada yada how many people on this site due 1 coin or .6 coins are nutty?
43037  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Two Antminer S1 on One PSU on: May 28, 2014, 02:15:42 AM
you are wasting 60 watts to run that machine.
I dont get it, which machine are you referring to? I didn't see him running any extra machine other then the KWH tester..

In that wooden enclosure is my Antminer S1 Dual Blade overclocked to 393.
He's saying that the two power supplies I'm using, with the draw shown on the KWH tester, is drawing about 60 Watts more than a more efficient power supply.

yeah my choices of words could have been more clear…    thank you for making it easier to read.

well my second blade came and it hashes well  5.3 -5.5 mhs so far.

hopefully the replacement blade comes soon and I can send back the slow blade.  maybe by thur.

mike thanks for watching your thread and fixing this.

43039  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 28MHs at 300w for Scrypt ! Zoomhash Scrypt Hosting Announcement $135 per MHs! on: May 28, 2014, 01:17:41 AM

Not sure where to ask but I have 32000 loyalty points.  Iwanted to look for a coupon but I can't seem to see what 32000 points are worth.  The website said send an email to info@zoomhash.

I sent in an email no reply yet.  does anyone know what I need to do to cash the points in?

Sorry, we are moving to a new shopping cart system end of this month to mid June. We will upgrade our point system to be more exciting and worth while.

Thanks!

I missed this response.

My blade came last night seems to be running nicely .   I am getting close to 5mh on it.

So I will wait on the points. until June.

right now I am going to sit on any orders of the newer gear until I see how other like them.

for the most part I like gridseeds gear wise. Pricing meh.  But this blade was a good deal

So the blade ran at 5000khs for a day   around 2500khs each half.  then 1 part dropped to 1500khs and I can not get it to recover.

So my ' bargain '  is no longer a bargain .

 I posted a thread here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624880

I got a pm from  zoomhash_michael [/s]

he told me send in a support ticket and I would get a cross shipped .  replacement blade and some ltc and or compensation to make up for lost hash.

I did this I got a reply from  Richard  via the support@zoomhash.com email  asking if I tried running cpuminer..

  I want to say (!%@$!%$#!%$)

I have been promised a cross shipped blade   not  a question.  Did I try cpuminer?  I only use cpuminer   which is how I answered the email.

Well I answered the email politely and now I wait.

While I must say I am annoyed that I am under hashing at 4000khs vs 5000khs .  I am now more annoyed that no unit has been crossed shipped.

To make matters worse I was happy that I got a good deal and ordered a second one to be nice.

So I am :
A) waiting on the cross ship
B) waiting on tracking  for my second unit---- I was told it shipped days ago and still not tracking. [/s]

  I just got tracking

So my bargain deals do not look that good.

My only solace is both orders are paypal  and If I have to I will file two claims for these. One for not as promised one for no delivery.

I got the blades to replace the shitload of gridseeds I had .  you can see I had a lot.

My current hashing on the slow blade is here:

So, here's a deal. If you can prove that anyone, just one will do, is actually paid by BFL to shill for them here, than I will prove that you, <SEO shit deleted>, are a pedophile with a Montessori school in Djakarta.
Fair deal?
