So S1 is discontinued?
yes is has been for a while. To bitmaintech I purchased 11 or 12 s-1s from you. all were good fast shipping they worked etc. I would want some upgrade kits 2 or 3. maybe more. I would also want at least 1 full s-3. My question is do we get any coupons since we purchased a lot of s-1s direct from you.

Early adopter group buy ? If there is one, it should be reserved for those who purchased from the first two group buys in Nov/Dec of 2013 ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I don't see this as that good of a deal unless you plan on mining with it for three months and then reselling it. Without using a cost to purchase, just the hashing and power usage, the miner runs out of capability against the difficulty and cost to power in three/four months. Here is what I used to calculate, https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/c6c8f5957bThe default difficulty rise is at 47% per month, which is about average for just about three difficulty changes at 14-17% each. Is there something in the calculations that I used that are wrong? I want the S3 to be good, I have 27 S1's mining right now and would like to replace them as they will start to cost more to run than they make before the end of August.

It all depends on the price. If it won't ROI in 60-75 days, its not a good deal. There is no future chasing pennies with dollars in high risk activities.

BS on your S2 comments. Depends when you bought and how much you paid. Zero problems with my S2 machines. Plug 'n mine.

This times infinity! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Price the S3s the same as or as a replacement for the S1, and Bitmain will have another winner on their hands. Plug and mine, indeed. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Can't wait to see pictures of the farms that spring up once these start selling.

Agreed. S1's shipped intact. No friggin SD card nightmares. 10 S1s hashing non stop since Feb 2014. Zero Problems and heat resistant. Sometimes environment is peaking 100 F and the S1s just keep hashing.

Anyone want to do a gigantic GB on these? Before the S1 was out of stock, I got a killer quote from BitMain if you bough a very large amount and paid for shipping yourself. I have a really good contract with DHL to get a much cheaper price than what BitMain can offer.
Not sure what the end price would be, but I would venture it'd be 10% off of what they offer on their site if you're willing to wait 3-5 days (extra) to get your miner.

I have 32s1 and 4 s2 and my temps get to 100 f ambient air in illinois and non of them skip a beat... Im extremely happy with all their product to date...s1 run at 55c with 100 f ambient air and s2 runs at aournd 62 -64 c

I will order from them direct as I want a kit and a full model.
After i do that i will consider what to do next.
I am burning 710 watts for mining mostly gridseed blades at they are cool running gear 85 watts each if you have them hooked to a plat psu.
I will hook one up to the same rig really looking forward to this gear.

do you have any issue with the gridseeds trailing off in speed after a couple days?? ive got two 80 chips and after couple days they slow down. Also the driver support is terrible.. I use win7 64 bit and I have to unhook the usb cable and power down the psu every time I restart cgminer real pain in the arse.. edit send me pm as this really isn't the thread to ask that ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
